The room was clean, attractive, comfortable, and functional. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The pool was a lot of fun with my kids and it's also very pretty. I appreciated having a lifeguard on duty. I didn't even know about the little free arcade before we arrived but that was a nice addition for my kids to enjoy.

J’avais choisi cet hôtel en grande partie pour le spa Nordik. Il était fermé pour rénovation

Tout était parfait; excellent service par téléphone avant notre arrivée, excellent service au comptoire de la réception. La chambre était visiblement dédiée aux clients qui voyagent avec leurs animaux et c'était ce dont nous avions besoin, alors nous en étions très satisfaits. C'était notre 3e séjour à cet établissement et nous avons toujours eu un service impeccable.

La machine pour sortir de l'argent est hors d'usage et la plateforme pour donner du pourboire au personnel qui fait les chambres n'est pas du tout pratique. La plateforme prend beaucoup de temps à ouvrir avec le code QR et elle donne des codes d'erreurs au lieu de traiter les transactions, ce qui ne met pas du tout l'utilisateur en confiance. Je n'ai donc pas pu donner de pourboire et j'en suis désolée, car tout le reste était parfait.

Le bruit dans les chambres empêchent une bonne nuit : bruit du frigidaire bruit de la ventilation comme bruit de fond. Aussi à l’accueil le préposé nous a salué et il est parti. Il a fallu refaire la file pour pouvoir nous enregistrer.

L’A/C ultra bruyante s’est mise à claquer dans la nuit nous réveillant aux 30 min : Sur ce point on m’a répondue qu’on aurait pu nous changer de chambre dans la nuit ou la réparer .. bref , je me serais attendu à un rabais note de crédit ou remboursement: nous étions venus nous reposer, et nous n’avons pas pu dormir…

Spacious and comfortable room. When the staff learned I was traveling with my dog, they gave me a room with a patio, which made it much easier. I really appreciated that.

There was quite a bit of noise during my stay. I’m not sure if it was due to the soundproofing or because my room was located below the housekeeping area.

The beds and pillows were comfortable which was a welcome reprieve, the location was easy to find, the overall hotel appeared to be nice (we wandered to see the facilities but never ended up using anything).

Our bathroom smelled of urine. It was strong when we arrived and we did our own clean with Lysol wipes and spray but unfortunately the smell never left the bathroom. It did not carry into the room, so we didn't complain and just kept the door closed when not using it.

We brought a dog with us and they places us in a great room. We were on the ground floor giving us comfort with the dog and our room had a walk out sliding glass door making it easy for us to take out dog pee. The area had a lot of greenery for our dog to walk on. The hotel was clean and had comfortable beds. The hotel staff were very kind.

We stayed at this hotel twice during our road trip to and from the East Coast, along with friends and family. As with many families traveling with young children, the waterslide was a key reason we chose this hotel. Unfortunately, on both of our stays, weeks apart, the waterslide was closed. Each time, we were told it would reopen the following day. The same thing happened to our family members staying there the week before. Across our two families, we spent five days at the hotel and were given the same information each day, yet the waterslide never reopened. There were a number of families in the pool area expressing disappointment so I'd suggest if you're looking to book this hotel for the pool facilities, you may want to temper kids' expectations. Our second stay was also frustrating because our room wasn't ready at the 4:00 p.m. check-in time. Normally I'd say this is a one-off case, but the same thing happened to my in-laws the week before. After a long day of driving with a young child and a dog, it's difficult to be told there's no room available and no alternative while you wait. When our room was ready, it was at the very back of the hotel with a construction pit and steamroller directly outside the sliding door where our parking space was allocated. We asked if another room was available, but were told the only option was a room beside live music that would continue until 2:00 a.m. Overall, we were disappointed. Between the unavailable waterslide, delayed check-ins, and the construction, the experience didn't live up to our expectations.

Everything was clean and well maintained. Our room was beautiful and perfect for our stay after a 7 hour drive. We will be back without kiddos to take advantage of the spa and spa services!

Good location for a night en route from the Maritimes to Ontario. Has a Nordik Spa on site with great 2 for 1 offer during the week, unfortunately it closed early on a Sunday night so we couldn’t take advantage. Also has a great restaurant on site that is reasonably priced, not inflated hotel prices like many hotels. Comfortable and clean, they even moved us to a different room without us asking because of renovations. We had a great stay and will come back again next time we’re driving to the East Coast. Reasonable price for the amenities provided.

It’s just off the highway so not close to the river or anywhere picturesque. Great for a one-night stay but not for walking around Rivière-du-Loup.
