Motel RDL- au Vieux Piloteux

Très bien situé pour faire une pause à mi-chemin entre Montréal et la Baie-des-Chaleurs, à l'aller comme au retour. Des restaurants sont à proximité pour le souper et le déjeuner, et les prix sont abordables.

Bien placé pour une nuit de passage à Rivière-du-Loup. Les chiens sont acceptés et ne dérangent pas. Chouette piscine pour se rafraîchir en fin de journée. Lits confortables.

It was clean.

I thought i requested a 2 person 2 bed room. Only had 1 small bed. The overall size of room and bathroom were very very small. The other thing was I did specify i had a pet dog on when i booked through Bookings.com received my price and when i arrived the staff charged an extra $25 dollars for the pet. I was shocked and very disappointed with this. If i had an alternative i would have left.

Our favourite spot to stay on our yearly trip out east. The new owners are doing a good job of making booking simple and keeping the place nice.

The price has increased substantially this year, but I guess everything has. The new pillows are a bit flat.

Prix trop élevé par rapport à la qualité. La chambre est minuscule meublée avec de l’équipement d’il y a 25 ans. Les oreillers sont minces comme une galette, l’emplacement est sur la route passante. Vraiment très déçue!

States pet friendly charges extra upon arrival . Rooms double the price when booking on line . Check in person was very rude and unpleasant and made us feel not even welcome , raised voice due to zero communication about EXTRA pet fees being added on the total .

Ça faisait motel moteux.... besoin d'être rafraichis. La nuit a couter 212$, je m'aurais attendu à plus pour ça. La chambre était miniature, le bain rose aurait besoin d'être changé... pas de table de nuit... on voulait juste partir au plus vite. Sans parler du dude qui fumait son joint pas loin de notre chambre, ça puait.

Les lits ne sont pas très confortables. La chambre était très petite. Chambre avec 2 lits doubles que je partageais avec ma mère, je ne vois absolument pas comment on aurait pu être 4 dans cette chambre. Et les lits ne sont pas de la taille double standard.

Nous avions 2 lits jumeaux. La chambre m'a paru plus petite que sur les photos. Cependant, tout était très propre et les matelas confortables. Bien que près de la route 132, nous n'avons pas entendu de bruit. C"était calme et nous avons très bien dormi. Le soir, nous sommes allées voir un magnifique coucher de soleil et nous avons mangé une glace malgré la température plutôt fraîche. Bref, ce motel est à recommander pour une nuit.

J'ai trouvé le prix un peu élevé pour la qualité de la chambre. Nous avons payé 248,66$. Nous avions réservé d'avance sur Booking.com et c'est important de le faire. Le 31 juillet, nous avons vu d'autres clients se faire refuser car c'était complet!

Localisation

Nous avons louer 2 chambres, l’une d’elle dans une section récente ( tres bien) et l’autre dans une section plus origine qui a besoin d’être rénovée. La différente de prix entre les deux chambres négligeable par rapport au confort. Donc je prefere la nouvelle section au deuxième niveau au dessus de la reception . Mettre de la glace disponible sans avoir a composer un numéro de telephone lorsque la reception est fermée

Very friendly staff. Room was clean and the pool was very nice. It's a basic motel but well-located. Good Wi-Fi connection.

I found the prices to be very expensive for the quality. I stayed in 4-star hotels in downtown Paris in peak travel season (with breakfast included!) for cheaper! Noisy air conditioner, noisy fridge, noisy ceiling and we could hear our neighbours snoring.

Ce n’était pas 100% propre dans la chambre, les serviettes étaient tachées, 3 bornes de recharges tesla mais un adaptateur pour les autres véhicule aurait été apprécié. Les murs entrés les chambres sont très peu isolés, j’entendais le monsieur de la chambre d’à cote ronfler. La lumière extérieure sur le balcon reste allumé toute la nuit et les rideaux laissait passer la lumière

Stayed here before, clean, although we paid a lower price first time, I believe this time we paid more than we should have for the same room. We will continue to look for alternatives if costs continue to increase

Parking was a nightmare. We were blocked in couldn’t get out due to people parking in non parking zones.

Was clean and well maintained for what it was. Good location. Gentleman at the check in was very polite and did his best despite the language barrier.

Rooms were dated but well kept. The shower had very little pressure and there was no conditioner in the dispenser. Pool was very cloudy although my granddaughter did swim and enjoyed it.

The room was clean with a sense of hominess, loved the bed covering! The pool water was warm, great for an evening swim after a 7 hour drive.

Although there was no smoking. There were people smoking on the veranda, and the smoke traveled to our location. That was unpleasant.
