We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel was exceptionally clean and in a fantastic location. The rooms had wonderfully high ceilings, which made them feel even more comfortable and elegant. The entire staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. The reception team was super friendly and helpful with questions we had. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and the quality of the food was outstanding. So was the dinner service! A special mention goes to the concierge, Luciano, who was exceptionally helpful, courteous, and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience — we would be very happy to stay here again!

Very pleasant surprise ! This hotel is extremely nice inside, which doesn’t tell from the outside. Perfectly renovated with classy materials and perfectly decorated. Attention to details High quality amenities and rooms Hotel with sheets and comforters (perfect when it’s 35C outside compared to hotels with « couettes » that are really not practical. Staff is pro ! Parking space available in the street if you arrive before 5pm. You can drive up to the basilica and park there to visit it. So you don’t get exhausted by the climb. Breakfast is excellent. But the best surprise is the RESTAURANT !! Wow ! This place hides it too much, the restaurant should be in the Michelin red book!!! We wanted to go out in town and we looked at the Menu. We stayed in, the dining room is exquisite, the staff is so kind and prices are very decent. This place is a hidden gem just by the harbor. (The wine list is excellent and affordable).

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtetes Haus, schöne Lage am Hafen. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, das unkompliziert bei Fragen und Problemen half. Sehr ansprechendes Frühstücksbuffet. Omelettes und frischer Orangensaft wurden per Bestellung unmittelbar frisch zubereitet. Komme wieder!

Beautiful property, with views of the port, situated in the old city of Ancona. The hotel is beautifully curated and the staff were very attentive and pleasant. Cleanliness, aesthetics location and the availability of parking (via a valet service) gives it top marks for us.

Breakfast was very nice, would be great to have some wholemeal bread available as well. But they did make eggs and pancakes made to order and there was a good selection overall.

A very nice modern hotel, great breakfast. The restaurant offers a great selection and the staff in the restaurant are exceptional. The meals are served quickly. The housekeeping and Alice at reception, all lovely people. We enjoyed our stay Grand Palace Hotel, Ancona.

Abbiamo apprezzato l'accoglienza e la disponibilità del personale, la pulizia della camera e gli arredi. La colazione è piuttosto assortita e risulta gradevole sia per i piatti dolci che per quelli salati. La posizione dell'hotel consente di raggiungere facilmente a piedi tutte le attrazioni del centro storico.

Sebbene molto pregiati perché appartenenti a un celebre marchio francese, i flaconcini di shampoo e di bagnoschiuma non erano mai sufficienti e non venivano riassortiti ogni giorno, tanto che abbiamo dovuto acquistare un bagnoschiuma.

I really love this place. The staff are so helpful and friendly and just know how to provide good service. We booked a basic room and it felt luxurious. The beds are comfortable, the air con works well and you can adjust it. Everything works as it should. There's plenty of space for our two carry-on bags. The shower pressure and hot water were good. The towels and linen is lovely. The decor is lovely. The location is great - it's a 5 min walk to the historic centre of Ancona. A 5-10 min drive to the port to catch a ferry. There's onsite vallet parking (for a fee). There's a lift and a porter for your luggage. We enjoyed the breakfast options - the food is fresh, delicious. You can have freshly cooked eggs or pancakes on request, there's a selection of fresh cakes and pastries, cold meats and cheeses, fruits etc. There are some GF options too but you may need to discuss these options with the hotel before booking. For us, this place is a bit of a treat and we try and stay here when we are going to Ancona and it's within our budget.

Really there's nothing to dislike but I'll mention some things where there's room for improvement, really not deal breakers ... maybe a few more hanging hooks in the bathroom - for example I had nowhere to hang the bidet towels in our bathroom but that might be different in other rooms; when it comes time to get new tv's please allow guests to be able to access their own streaming services and things like YouTube on the tv.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Palace. The room was cozy and very clean, with a beautiful sea view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The location was also perfect for us.

The only thing that bothered us was the noise from neighboring rooms and the corridor. We could sometimes hear people talking, children running, and noise from the hallway. The soundproofing could be a little better. Despite this, we would happily stay here again and can definitely recommend the hotel.

We kregen bij aankomst een upgrade wat ons heel goed is bevallen door het fantastische uitzicht over haven en de ruime kamer. Ligging is kort bij oide stad.

Het personeel bij het ontbijt was niet allert op de gasten om attent te bedienen met koffie en mogelijkheid tot keuze voor een ei. Wel een goed ontbijt met ruime keuze en dus op aanvraag ook keuze voor een ei gerecht.

Parking was on a building site at the side of the hotel. We did not receive the type of room we ordered one twin room was a double and could not be changed as it was too late and no housekeeping staff were available

Dettagli. Temperatura nella stanza troppo bassa, ma non abbiamo capito come regolarla. Colazione con ottime uova strapazzate, ma senza bacon.

Il soggiorno in hotel è stato una piacevole sorpresa. Struttura eccellente e una colazione ricca di varietà e di qualità. Il servizio e l’attenzione del personale sono stati eccezionali, sia alla reception che al ristorante. Merita, come pochi altri hotel, un 10. Un ottimo parcheggio per chi viaggia in auto o in bicicletta, come nel nostro caso.

Everything. I have been coming to this place for years in the way to Greece. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, staff is nice, restaurant is excellent with n outstanding choice of wine. It’s nicely situated and yet very quiet.

Minimal points: some of the switches and furniture edges show signs of wear. In my room the shades didn’t close perfectly somit was a bit too much light in the morning.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte sola in Junior Suite. Struttura magnifica,pulita,a pochi minuti d’auto dalla stazione,vista porto. Ci siamo trovate benissimo,la stanza era stupenda e la colazione ottima,sia dolce che salata. Minibar in camera completamente gratuito Il bagno era dotato di ogni tipo di confort,salviette di ogni tipo e prodotti infiniti per la cura e l’igiene personale. Per ogni volta che torneremo ad Ancona sceglieremo sempre questa struttura.

Tappo della vasca un pochino difettoso,non manteneva l’acqua. Ma non importa,può succedere. L’enorme doccia walk-in ha compensato benissimo il disguido.

Schade, dass man uns nicht entgegen kam mit dem Preis als wir 4 Wochen vorher schon wussten, dass unsere Fähre verschoben wurde und wir nicht da übernachten konnten. So haben wir 2h da verbracht und sind wieder gegangen

The building is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The staff are exceptionally helpful, efficient and attentive throughout the stay. The room is very spacious, with a fantastic sea view offering breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. The bed is extremely comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night’s sleep. The bathroom is equally generous in size, featuring both a large walk-in shower and an enormous bathtub, complemented by a lovely window overlooking the sea. The room also includes a well-designed coffee corner and a long desk with ample seating, making it ideal both for relaxing and for working. Secure parking is available in a private garage for an additional charge, which provides added peace of mind.

The breakfast quality and variety of foods could be improved.

Quiet peaceful location overlooking the port. Great sunset view. We had assumed there was a nearby beach, but in fact a taxi driver wanted to charge us 40 Euros to drive to the closest one. Anyway, we took the bus. Those with mobility issues, be aware: When we arrived at the hotel, there were about 8 steps to drag the luggage up from the sidewalk level to the lobby /restaurant level, and then finally there was an elevator. The room was very small and mostly clean, but had a clothes rod that is so high that hangers were quite difficult to reach for people of average height. Most of the open shelves were way too high, and no ladder was provided. However, there were a couple of drawers close to the floor. We were surprised that in a 4-star hotel there were brown areas (mold???) on the shower floor. We have stayed in many European hotels, so we are accustomed to smaller spaces, but this bathroom was so tiny it could possibly be difficult for a person who is more than 80 kilos to step into and out of the shower stall. The minibar contents were free – nice touch. There is an adequate fitness center with typical machines. The included breakfast buffet was fine, and the excellent coffee was made by a human, not a machine.

What a beautiful hotel. 3 minutes taxi from the train station or 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Wonderful comfortable bed with a free mini bar and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast is self service for toast/cereal etc but eggs/bacon etc are made to order to your table. Staff were great and we left our bags for a few hours before our evening ferry. Lovely stay over and would not hesitate to stay again if we had the chance. Thank you.
