They offer a free shuttle which is great. The property is about 10 min drive from the airport and they allow midnight check ins. Staff was friendly and the room was spacious

The room was quite dated and dull and the walls had a lot of scruff marks and the doors were not very clean. The bathroom could have been cleaner as well.

The location is good, the restaurant and facilities look good and is well designed. The property was clean and the staff were friendly.

The room was dated and is in need of some fresh paint. The cold water tap in the kitchen did not work. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work. The food in the restaurant was well prepared and tasty; however, we experienced the following. - I ordered 500g of spare ribs, but only received four pieces of single ribs. The weight could not have been close to 500 grams. - My wife ordered sirloin steak, but the steak did not taste like sirloin or looked like sirloin. We suspect it might have been rump steak.

Window in room was broken and toilet seat was broken, so obviously, maintenance is not kept up. Went for meal and ordered pork ribs not expecting to have a spicy flavor

It’s easy to get to - instructions for reaching the motel were crystal clear, and the table of exact bus timings to and from both domestic and international terminals was perfect for me to plan my time. I arrived past 10pm and the receptionist was waiting to receive me with my room key so I didn’t have to worry about figuring out how to check in myself. The shower was hot and water pressure was good. The TV could access most popular streaming services (if you log into your own account). The kitchenette had items to cook a simple meal - a pot, a frying pan, plates, bowls, cutlery, basic cooking utensils, a rangehood, induction stove, microwave, fridge, dishwashing liquid and sponge, dish-drying towel, coffee, tea. There was an onsite restaurant that provides breakfast (not complimentary) from 7am onwards - helpful for those who don’t have early morning flights.

Small details, but they matter - and don’t justify the cost of the room. The USB charging point by the bed doesn’t work. The bathroom had a window above the sink that couldn’t be closed, so it was cold in the late night and early morning. I had to shut the door to the bathroom so the room can be kept warm by the heating. There was no switch that could turn the bathroom’s air-circulation fan on (which might be why the open window was needed), so a hot shower steams up the place quite quickly. There’s no light switch for the room near the door, so if you arrive at night, you’ll need to find your way in the dark to the other end of the room where the two bedside lights are and switch them on. It would’ve been easy for the staff to switch it on first for guests arriving late to their rooms (something I’d experienced at another AKL airport accommodation 3 weeks back, a cheaper stay than here). The walkway to the room from reception had a few bumps (see photos) - not a big deal usually, but I had a 34kg luggage that I needed to haul over the bumps.

The yellow bus was really easy to get to. Location

Noise coming from music from a pub or club near by. Very basic accommodation. The place is tidy enough but in need of repairs and modernisation. No breakfast provision for guests who need to leave early even though the night manager is there still to 7am. This could be greatly improved with some thoughtful customer service thinking.

Handy to airport and free airport shuttle. Not far from town either. Open setting, spacious room.

Lovely bed with high quality linen. Easy parking and close to the airport. Nice and quiet. The restaurant served an excellent selection of food at a reasonable price; the single person bartender, waiter, maitre d’, cashier performed miracles so that no one was kept waiting an excessive time

The shower didn't drain properly; the shower head was in desperate need of cleaning/descaling and the toilet seat had been broken previously and replace with one the wrong size so that it couldn't be secured, relying on gravity to keep it in place. Using the toilet was an alarming experience!!

The staff. when I booked I set the arrival time to 2pm. when I arrived at that time the staff said I can only check in at 3pm. which would be fair, but she started to arguing about that what the app says. she was really unfriendly and IMHO unprofessional. she let us to leave our luggage their, but she put in a cleaner cupboard.

Walls were dirty. Heaps of handprints and the shower was like yellow and yuk. Rubbish from last people still in the wardrobe. Definitely wouldnt recommend the breakfast as it was super basic

was the same room as before, this time we came without kids hahaha, overall, myselft, mum and sisters enjoyed this motel/hotel. Clean and comfortable. Receptionist desk was lovely and did not make me wait.

Unfortunately weather was crazy raining for the pass 2 days we were there. But, not to worry we will check for summer :)

Airport shuttle was free. Excellent meals at a reasonable price

The shower was basically unuseable, the water was either freezing cold or boiling hot, there was NO middle ground! The staff were not particularily helpful, they were good at pointing to where you had to go and then left you to figure it out for yourself! I would like to warn people about the attached restaurant, the room rates may be cheap but the restaurant was ridiculously expensive, the food was horrible and food on the menu was either not available or when ordered totally different than what was advertised, the vegetables were half cooked and still very hard, the potatoes were pre cooked, reheated and put on all dishes ordered! Dessert had berries on it that were frozen solid and inedible!

Clean and close to airport with a good free shuttle. 24 hr check in and very economical.

Need cupboard under hand basin and hair-dryer should be in the bathroom found it right back under desk down the bottom of main desk.It looks tired the rooms need a refreshing mostly the bathroom

Convenient for us since we will cook our morning breakfast before we start our journey.Near to the auckland airport , and you can take the yellow bus for free (part of the stay)

The motel facilities need an upgrade but all is OK.

The reception staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The shuttle bus door to door service and drivers was great 😃 The heat pump worked well and I had a bed.😀

The kitchenette room entry light was very dim then faded and went off. Coffee/tea box had an empty sugar stick packet only. Nothing else. So no morning cuppa. The fridge was iced up with 3 little pottles of milk in it. The bathroom ceiling has mould spots. Worst of all was the over charged dinner. I ordered their pork dinner and a glass of water. $50 Also chocolate brownie $38. I got a pork chop, part of it was red raw. The brownie was microwaved served with melted ice cream the menu said $12 not $38. ☹️ I was unaware what they had charged till this morning on my way to Sydney. ☹️

I could hear the person next door snoring very loudly the whole night (insulation could do with an upgrade). Phone in room not working. Toaster broken when I wanted to make breakfast before going work. I had to phone reception from my mobile to ask for a new toaster (as the room phone broken/dead). No replacement toaster provided in time so I could not make any breakfast before leaving so I went to work “hangry”. No sink plug to wash dishes.

Restaurant facilities were terrible. No coffee available only warm tap water available in restaurant no salt pepper or napkins on table. Waiter didn’t know what he was doing . Reception staff weren’t helpful. We arrived at 2pm to check in and were told check in wasn’t till 3pm so we could go wait in our car till then.

Food service, had to cook own toast as normal breakfast that normally came with toast was non-exsistant, fridge in room was not working, exhaust fan in room was in pieces and not working.

Kitchen was ill equipped. No utensils apart from 2 wooden spoons so not great if you want to cook your dinner or breakfast. No wine glasses stocked. The TV wifi kept dropping out and YouTube was set to Japanese language so could not be understood or used. No mirror in the bedroom/living area. Only mirror was in the bathroom which was far from ideal as this fogged up from the shower and was hard to see what you were doing when getting ready for work. .Restaurant wanted to charge extra if you wanted to take your meal to your room, because they had to collect the plate. 🤔

Shuttle bus runs 24 hours, so no need to book it. Rooms are large and clean. Staff are generally very friendly.

Nice spacious unit with a separate bedroom. Great location and staff were helpful. The room itself has a lot of potential and looks as if was refurbished not too long ago.

Maintenance appears to be lacking, which is regretable because it potentially is a really nice motel unit. Unsightly black marks all over one of the doors lets the presentation down. The shower mixer is in urgent need of repair. The water alternated between burning hot to cold. Not matter how I tried, I couldnt find the right adjustment to have a decent shower.

Convenient for a single night's stay to get to/from the airport. Can park the car there at a cost whilst away. Easy to get on the Airport bus from there

The place is starting to look rather rundown inside and out. Walls are paper thin so we had a lot of noise from neighbouring room.

Kitchen facilities. Room was spacious. Parking available. Access to Netflix and Prime. Aircon. Sliding door for fresh air. Housekeeping always outside in the morning, so I can grab anything i need.

Only one light switch for the whole room. Bathroom cold, had only face towel and bath towel, no hand towel. Calling Reception on phone kept cutting off. Thin walls, can hear people in next room.

Staff was pleasant. Lots of parking spaces. Room had a small area equipped with stove, microwave, toaster and kitchen utensils. Bathroom was clean. Room quite spacious. Beds comfortable.
