Reviewed Jul 1, 2026Diana at the reception is very supportive. Breakfast; fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, omelette, bad coffee, Nice garden. central location & quiete. We got a nice honeymoon decoration with fruits and wine.
The lodge and room don't look as pretty as on the pictures in booking, probably due to lack of maintenance, which I highly recommend. When it rains, the sound on the roof of your room is very noisy, which can influence your sleeping quality.

Die Lodge ist doch etwas weiter vom Zentrum gelegen, man muss das Auto nehmen. Scheint in die Jahre gekommen. Der schöne Innengarten und der Pool sind leider nicht so gepflegt. Aber wir haben diesen auch gar nicht genutzt.

We stayed at AmaZulu Lodge for five nights as part of our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for more. Craig, the team and all the staff were exceptional in their hospitality, care and professionalism. The location is perfect for all activities and exploring the town, the rooms are curated in the typical Zulu style, the breakfast and breakfast staff are lovely, and the team did some extra special touches for us that we really appreciated!

No fan in the room only air conditioning and you had to keep the windows closed because of the monkeys so there was no air circulation , no privacy in the toilet and you felt like you had to keep the curtains closed for privacy because other guest could see into your room

De dame bij het ontbijt ontving ons elke dag met de allergrootste glimlach, echt een super lief mens!

Lastig te vinden want huisnummers staan nergens en Garmin geeft het ongeveer 100 meter te ver aan, aan de verkeerde kant van de weg. Locatie was niet wat wij bij een lodge verwachten

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026Wij kwamen aan op een hele warm dag en het was fijn om een duik te kunnen nemen in het zwembad! We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en vroeg direct of hij ons moest helpen met het boeken van excursies (we hadden dit zelf al gedaan, maar anders was het natuurlijk fijn geweest). Het huisje zag er super leuk uit en ook heerlijk groot, dus super comfortabel. De twee poezen begroete ons ook vriendelijk iedere dag. Ook de locatie is erg fijn zo in de hoofd straat van st Lucia, maar wel een beetje aan het einde dus je merkt de drukte hier niet. We hebben 3 fijne nachten gehad en zouden dit verblijf zeker aanraden!
Het ontbijt was prima, maar wel simpel.

The accommodation is also very comfortable and it’s situated close to the game parks and hippo safaris so it’s an excellent choice of accommodation on all counts.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025Super schöne Lodge. Zimmer 11 war sehr groß und liegt direkt am Pool. Es war sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und hat eine überdachte Terrasse. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer und auch eine Sitzgelegenheit. Betten sind sehr gut. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum. Das Auto kann man im eingezäunten Hof parken. Es liegt sehr nah am Eingang der Eastern Shores . Man kann von der Lodge aus eine schöne Wanderung an den Estuary Boardwalk machen. Wir würden wieder buchen.

Für eine Unterkunft in einem Gebiet, in dem man "eher früh" zu den angebotenen Aktivitäten aufbricht, ist 7:30 als Beginn für das Frühstück lachhaft und wirkt, als ob man darauf spekuliert, dass niemand mehr zum Frühstück da ist. Somit konnten wir "leider" während unseres Aufenthalts kein einziges mal das inbegriffene Frühstück testen ...

Ein Fernseher im Zimmer wäre schön gewesen und etwas mehr Platz für das Gepäck.

Alle medewerkers zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mooi aangelegde tuin met zwembad. Afgesloten parkeerplaats. Heerlijk en mooi geserveerd ontbijt verzorgd door Bongie! Je eitje wordt vers bereid!
