This was a lovely hotel, and the rate was very good

The only thing is it needs a good clean up of all the cobwebs. One in our bathroom and along the corridor over the light. Will not stop us if we need to stop again

Laura greeted us for checking. She was engaging, and a very delightful person to chat with. She made the checking process ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! The rest of the pub and restaurant staff were really great, but I don't member their names. The Scotch egg was a hit for me.

The only thing I can think of was no Hawkestone on tap.

Second one night stay while visiting relatives in St Neots. Great little place - big bar and restaurant, outdoor patio and superb breakfast - as good as a five star hotel.

Nothing really - rooms could do with just a little more colour and character but they’re perfectly decent with nice modern bathrooms. It’d be a full on 10/10 all round with just some extra touches of style in the rooms. Stayed in room 7 and previously brought our dog in room 9.

Short stay whilst doing St Neots triathlon. Everything I needed for a restful sleep the night before a big race

Descent dinner at the restaurant. Nice outside terrace and pub interior. Clean room and bathroom.

Unable to rate the breakfast due to a problem with the gas in the kitchen. No airconditioning or fan in the room which was very warm. Only 1 small window could be opened which then led to quite some noise from the street.

Friendly welcome when checking in. Clean and comfortable, well maintained room. Nice cooked breakfast served by the most helpful and efficient Laura. Thank you.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our dogs were able to accompany us inside for breakfast. The Eaton Oak has a very nice outdoor space with plenty of seating.

As a guest we were unable to order to order food on Sunday night due to a large party. Monday breakfast had no bacon yet mentioned on the light breakfast menu.

The food was very good.

We were told there would be an extra £5.00 for a full breakfast,which we thought was very poor as we had breakfast included in our booking, also we were not told what we could order from the menu itself which was a little embarrassing. The staff didn’t seem to want to give us a pleasant experience as paying guests.

Clean and comfortable room that had everything we needed. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The food was famtastic, we would come back for the breakfast alone! Great stay and would highly recommend.

Great location for my work nearby. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. Everything worked! Good tea and coffeee options provided. Good bathroom toiletries. I was grateful for the fan as it was a hot night.

The toilet was clean but needs a more thorough deep clean. I also live in a hard water area so I understand the problem with limescale - needs an efficient limescale remover and some dedicated brushing at least once a week. Looks unsightly. The weather was very warm and the room had lovely opening windows and a fan - but I didn't feel confident to have the windows open all night as it was a ground floor room. Not sure what can be done about that?

Close to busy main road - double glazing was very efficient but that meant the windows had to be closed so no fresh air. Smallest bowl of porridge I've ever had for breakfast in a hotel.

Superb we were attending a wedding nearby although the rooms weren't ready we were allowed to check in early and drop off our bags which was great a lovely lady welcomed us and gave us all the information we needed

Second time I have stayed so must be good. Room facilities are to a good standard and clean, there is secondary glazing that cuts out any road noise so that is not a problem even being so close to a main road. Quality of the food served was very good, as was the breakfast, both took a bit of time but only what you would expect for fresh cooked food (not excessive)

My first stay there, there was a group of us eating so I didnt notice a wait to be served, however this stay I was travelling on my own for work, I had to wait a long time (15-20 mins) before I had to get the waitress attention to even get a drink, never mind order. The wifi doesnt work in the conservatory so that just made the wait seem forever. OK if you are not on your own. That said It wasnt the fault of the waitress as she had the whole of the food area to service, and it was quite busy, far too much for one person, and when she did arrive, she was very friendly and helpful even though she was run off her feet. Good food but get some additional help in the restaurant.

The rooms and the hotel were very well presented.

The hairdryer’s extraction vent was neglected. Very dirty. Kept tripping out. The approach of cleaning it and rectifying was a little comical and no washing of hands before serving the breakfasts.

It wasn't that I didn't like this but as it was very hot there was no air con in the room. There was a fan but it didn't help bring the temperature down. As I and several others were staying the night before a wedding we needed to sleep

The staff was so welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was exceptional with a real country taste and no scimping on quality. Would definitely recommend the Eaton Oaks.

No fridge Little bottles of semi skimmed milk left on the unit by kettle in a very hot room! Not acceptable. Milk was warm. Had to ask for fresh milk to replace it. Breakfast included beans. In a very small pot used for ketchup?

Big comfortable room with good facilities. Didn’t eat or drink in bar/restaurant area but looked nice and menu was varied. Only interaction with staff was when i checked in but big friendly welcome and very efficient.

Being close to the A1 the road noise can be an issue but wouldn’t stop me from booking again.

Very convenient location. Nice room, nice white linen, tea and coffee making facilities. Property felt secure, having to use a bespoke fob to gain access to the bedrooms. Food was tasty, good, sensible sized portions. Staff pleasant and polite.

The rooms aren't very soundproof so we were woken up by our "neighbours" taking phone calls and speaking at 5am.

We had to wait for the menu at breakfast whilst member of staff appeared to be doing paperwork & were only brought menus when we reminded them we were waiting & that we had to leave by a specific time. Temperature in the room was very warm, even though we turned the radiator down.

Bad..... Bar and restaurant prices Ugly..... lighting in bathroom is appalling. no light to Shave or for women to apply make up. had to use our own mirror to reflect light. also small sink with large tap, difficult to sluce face.

It was quiet, relaxing and provided excellent breakfast. The bed was firm and supportive which is critical to any comfortable night sleep.

The outer window (which looked to be original to the building to be fair) didn’t close properly which allowed cold air inside between the outer & inner window. The blackout curtains also completely covered the radiator which slowed the room warm up when we turned the heating on. Maybe get shorter curtains to expose the radiator and only cover the windows?

The room was cold when we arrived. Drawing curtains for privacy from the main road completely covers the radiator. We requested two chairs, only one was provided. Ensuite wet room needs a deep clean. Tiny basin. Breakfast was almost cold and poorly presented with leathery scrambled egg. Car park lighting needs to be improved.

From the moment we arrived for our two night stay Adam welcomed in a friendly professional manner. The spacious room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. There was tea and coffee facilities with Border biscuits. The bathroom was bright and the shower excellent and easy to use. The shower gel etc was lovely. It was a quiet room. We ate in the bar one evening and the food was well cooked as was breakfast.

All was good. I would have liked some herb tea sachets.

We love coming to stay here and now it is under new management we were lucky enough for the new manager to make time to talk to us at breakfast. I think Adam will be such an asset to this lovely place. We look forward to returning soon.

Easy and quick check in. Lovely comfy bed. Good sized room with great refreshments in the room - nice touch. Easy access to return to after a wedding at St Neots golf club. Excellent, tasty breakfast with drinks. Everything we needed in the bathroom. Everything felt great value for money for our stay.

I couldn't work out which switch controlled main light, couldn't switch it on but this wasn't an issue, the bed lights were adequate. Window was left open when checked in, not a big issue, closed it when we got in but took a while to heat up when we got back. I wish we'd popped the heating on before we left! I couldn't work out how to put towel rail on either so bathroom was cold to go into and when getting into the morning shower.

The room was a nice size and easily accessible from both the carpark and pub/restaurant. The staff pleasant and efficient. The Sunday lunch was delicious but the fish and chips I had in the evening was not great at all. In

We booked a standard room with bath but the only room available at check-in was the accessible room with wet room which needed a thorough clean. The wet room had mould in places and the floor was so dirty. The shower drainage hole in the floor was partially blocked and very dirty. The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. A real shame as we were so looking forward to a lovely family meal/stay. The dirty milk jug at breakfast was inexcusable.

Very comfortable and quiet, cosy pub. The room was very clean, and everything was in good working order. I wish I could have stayed longer.

When I got to the property the evening dinner service had stopped but it was only 7pm? The BBC iPlayer app on the TV in the bedroom was not working so I could not connect my device.
