BREAKFAST WAS GOOD STAFF WERE GOOD
WE HAD ROOM 4. A FAIR SIZE CONSIDERING THE AGE OF THE PROPERTY .BATHROOM SMALL WOULD SUIT SOMEBODY ABOUT 4FT TALL, WASH BASIN BELOW WAIST LEVEL ,MIRROR YOU HAD TO PRACTICALLY KNEEL DOWN TO SEE. STAIRS TO BEDROOMS NOT REALLY SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH WALKING DIFFULCTIES,PLUS THE ODD STEP AND WONKEY FLOORS.BED WAS COMFORTABLE,COULD DO WITH ANOTHER CHAIR.
Spacious clean room with very good facilities
Great spot in centre of town close to car park. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Had a light evening meal which was nice.
Room a bit dark overlooking a grotty flat roof, but the building is old and interesting and not overly smart. Bathroom a bit tired.
Quaint old fashion style, and the history
We had a superior room which was very spacious with a very large bed. The hotel is right in the centre of town and very historical.

Room was lovely. Staff really helpful and respectful. Breakfast was tasty. Location nice and central.

Central location
No parking
The Eggs Benedict with smoked bacon were superb. The Butty Bach beer was in top condition. The room was quirky.
Kitchen was closed on Sunday night ... (but there is a top-notch Indian restaurant across the road.) Woken by traffic noise.
Town centre .Good breakfast
.
Quick and easy check in and check out, clean and comfortable place, good location, polite and attentive staff
Old flooring, could hear neighbours from room above walking during the night.
Good central location and very nice room.
Nothing
Comfortable superior room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location for walking around the town.
Evening meal average. No car park but good car park only 2 mins walk. Had to wait for manager to arrive to sort out bill on check-out morning
Room was comfortable but not in the old part of the hotel, so disappointed with that, could have stayed in a modern place for less cost.
Parking isn't easy. Hotel doesn't have any. Paid fir two double rooms but was offered 3 breakfasts, they should bring the other breakfast to share. Expensive stay and a disappointing restaurant menu, basically they were out of everything except fish and chips.
Location, staff and breakfast
Small details. Having to go to reception for a new loo roll. I’d rather pay a little more for better bread. Only a small part of an amazing breakfast.
Emma in the morning was amazing such a happy person to greet you ❤️
The staff were lovely and welcoming. Very comfortable
Limited menu on a Sunday evening meaning we are elsewhere
Lovely accommodation is beautiful town. Staff were amazing, Mike and his team went over and above! Thank you so so much.
Great location we were going to a wedding at the orchard at Munsley Lovely staff clean rooms comfortable bed
As it’s an older property the room window was quite small which made it feel a bit dark and therefore quite warm but the fan was a welcome addition.
Very friendly staff and a good breakfast in a friendly atmosphere. For diner, we recommend The Olive Tree, on walking distance.
Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast.
Excellent breakfasts and dinners, rooms clean, staff fantastic - fans provided in exceptional heatwave. Great location for Ledbury / local area.
No obvious issues
Beautiful old pub/hotel and nicely located. Very friendly staff. I had a lunch there and the breakfast and they were both good.
I personally found the mattress uncomfortable but this is just personal preference.
Lovely traditional property in the heart of Ledbury. Fantastic, friendly staff. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Fabulous breakfast
Good location and atmosphere
Quaint large room good food friendly staff. Great location .
Slightly faded but it was sort of the character.
The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and very dog friendly. Great value for money and will be back.
Room was a little tired especially the shower.
Lovely room and comfortable bed, we slept welll and then a great breakfast too
Wi fi connected to phone but not laptop.
The choice of breakfast was superb. It was very well presented and very tasty
Nothing we were very happy
Goeie ligging, vriendelijk personeel en goed bed.
Geen airco voor de zomermaanden.
Quirky room, due to it being so old, location was fab, breakfast was lovely
The accommodation, restaurant and pub staff were very helpful. Decent beer in the bar too.
The TV had no live TV or access to streaming. The channel labelled "TV" accessed only the shopping channels. Fortunately I'd taken a Tablet for reading and was able to stream on that. The toilet seat was v wobbly. In fairness, I didn't make a fuss about these issues during the stay because we were out and about most of the time.
History of the place.
The furniture and some fittings were a bit tired but the room suited our needs.
They provided fans in the rooms. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Emma in particular was lovely.
A member of staff (Simon) was incredibly rude and was not at all welcoming. He made a number of inappropriate comments (including swearing) and was both rude and aggressive.
Central, wonderful heritage building.
Nothing
Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful also.
We had an Accessible Bathroom, and it was very tired looking bathroom. The switches on the shower was difficult to use, and thought it wasn’t working.
The breakfast was excellent, location perfect. We really appreciated the fan in the room and the biscuits were very welcome.
The room and particularly the bathroom was quite tired but it had everything we needed.
This is a fabulous hotel and is very close to the to town. Excellent value for money.
Nothing
The breakfast was fine as we don't eat a big breakfast. Nice pot of tea and staff very nice.
What was not great was there was 2 bottles of water one sparkling so not enough to make tea or coffee. I was aware of no drinking water from taps due to old building but had completely forgot. If people have medication to take and need a couple of hot drinks it's not possible. Bed comfy. Water in room slow running and took time to empty sink.
This is such an incredible old building, with fantastic, large rooms, and super friendly staff. We loved the experience (including the room named after a poet and the great breakfast), and loved that we got to stay at a hotel that's been welcoming guests for over 400 years!
Good location. Fantastic staff. Fabulous breakfast. Plenty if hot water
Rock hard pillows! Very small shower. Couldn't look into the bathroom mirror without crouching.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
It was a little bit noisy at night
Breakfast excellent.
Pillows were hard.
Excellent staff and breakfast. Bar was pleasant and well stocked
Would have liked the time to sample the evening meal
Beautiful old coaching inn. pleasant room, good breakfast, great location.
Great overnight stay for our Henry Westons Cider Farm Tour. Quaint old rooms in a VERY old building make the ceilings and floors uneven but added to the experience. Bed maybe not the greatest but it was okay, excellent breakfast before we departed the next morning.
The beds in our room were perhaps a bit flimsy or just not level due to the age of the floor. That cant be helped but levelling the bed may help customer experience?
All excellent
The room was comfortable. Our room (4) had a very small bathroom, with toilet sink and shower and very limited headroom. But, I am very tall. The breakfast was fantastic. The location was town centre and very convenient.
I think everything was about as good as expected.
Very clean and comfortable room with good amenities. Location right in centre of Ledbury was excellent.
Room quite dark, and ceiling in bathroom quite low
Great location and super breakfast
Really central and the staff were all very friendly. Nothing too much trouble.
Bathroom was a little bit on the cosy side ( single shower tray) but no complaints. Water was lovely and hot.
The location
The shower didn't have enough power and looked like mould on the ceiling of the shower
Everything. Especially the food and staff.
Nothing
Homely and welcoming. Large bedrooms with comfy beds and cotton sheets. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Food good, particularly the full English breakfast. Oldie worldly relaxing vibes
We were lucky to get a parking space on the front of the hotel but it would’ve been very inconvenient if we’d had to park in the town and walk back with luggage. Some areas were a bit tired, but we overlooked those as it’s a very old property and they appear to be working hard to update.
Recently renovated room, more than happy. Cleanse of bathroom, comfortable bed where we slept sounds. Booked in for an evening meal after a long day out. Have to say the staff were very friendly and the meal was lovely. Breakfast was a good filler to set you up for a day ahead...from fruit, yoghurt and cereal, whilst you waited for your full English breakfast, eggs royal etc. An absolute must all around. Also no need to book 2 night's as fully happy with one night stays.

Ideal location close to town centre but very peaceful.
Nothing.
Very friendly and engaging staff, excellent breakfast, clean and comfy room in an old hotel with interesting period features. The hotel is located in Ledbury town so easy walk into the high street and amenities
No parking that I was aware of, but there is a long stay car park nearby - but obviously costs money for an overnight stay
Wonderful historic building, spotlessly clean, comfortable quirky room, staff were really welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, variety of options good quality ingredients. We will be back
Nothing! Stairs are steep which might be an issue for someone with mobility issues.
Relaxed atmosphere. Building full of character. Sunny courtyard/garden.
Beds not very comfortable. Breakfast adequate
Comfortable and welcoming stay in a quirky and historic venue. Room was clean, a good size, and conveniently situated on ground floor. Dog-friendly and - unlike some such venues - dog owners are not restricted (it seems) regarding choice of room.
No food available on a Sunday evening. Parking is limited, though this is hardly the fault of the venue in such an historic building, but needs to be thought out in advance in case street spaces are full.
Super friendly and helpful staff
Very outdated bedrooms and bathrooms. The single twin beds were extremely narrow. The bar downstairs was really loud, especially as they had a singer, which reverberated through the rooms. There needs to be more advice on local parking ass we spent a lot of time trying to park up.
Quirky and honest. Fantastic hard working staff.
No complaints.
The hotel was lovely very nice and helpful staff ,shame booking .com never told the hotel we were coming to stay and had paid a month before when we trued up we had NO ROOM . Thanks to the staff they found us other accommodation and a free meal and drink . Thank you staff at the hotel 👍
Booking .com 😡👎👎👎
Everything. The quirkiness of the 16th century building made our visit perfect.

Breakfast
The whole place needed an upgrade in decor.
Very comfy beds, decent sized room, big shower, good cooked breakfast, right in the centre of the town and 15mins from the train station. Really lovely staff, very chatting, communicative and funny. Would very much recommend.
The water in the bathroom wasn't drinkable apparently. The staff filled up our water bottles for us and there two small bottles of water in the room but a few more would have been good. Bit on the expensive side IMO but seemed to be the going rate in Ledbury and didn't mind as the stay was pretty perfect
Nice staff ground floor room. I have. Difficulty with stairs
We booked last minute. So what we paid for the room and breakfast we couldnt fault. Good location for what we wanted..A lovely place to stay. I would recommend. 😊
Room was large, bed was comfortable
Bathroom needed a refresh (room 14). Black mold over bath, handle on bath had been broken in the past and holes filled but could have been done better, woodwork needs a repaint and knots sealed, wc lid hinges need replacing - general maintenance really, didn't hamper our use.
Very central. Friendly staff
Comfortable and spacious room
Breakfast and location excellent

Lovely building with history
Nothing
Breakfast was excellent - lots of choices, well cooked and plenty of it. Our shower was very good. The hotel didn't have its own parking but nearby parking was easy to find. Decent value for money. I think the bed would have been comfortable if we were able to sleep well in a double bed!
The heating in the room was challenging to operate - we didn't manage it, and a staff member also failed - but I understand the system is about to be changed. Also the toilet flush was a little reluctant to operate.
Very old building very quirky
Nothing not to like
Nice, quiet room . Everything was nice.you had to park the car in the main car park very close to the hotel. Fee for the day between 8am and 6pm £ 7
Friendly welcoming staff, comfortable room.. very quiet great breakfast
No car park on site.. a few minutes walk to public car park and very busy on a Saturday
Big rooms, fantastic food and great staff
Nothing
Location and nice staff
Bed was uncomfortable and noise builders outside at 6.15 am
The room was quiet and comfortable with a comfortable bed. All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The food was superb (especially the chocolate and orange panettone pudding!). We ate in the restaurant on the first evening which is a historically interesting room, with beautiful original 16th century panelling; on the second evening in the friendly and lively bar (same menu in both). Good choice of hot food at breakfast plus a small buffet with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal.
Lovely wood timbered character building right in the town. Dinner was amazing in the oak panelled restaurant and the staff so welcoming. The bar area had a lovely atmosphere and full of charm. Our evening meal was all homemade with fresh vegetables and was delicious!
Our room was a standard room in the old part of the Inn, so was quite basic.
Breakfast was good but no yoghurts that didn't have sweetner and no croissants on offer. Liked the location. Friendly, helpful staff. Extremely clean rooms with lovely comfy beds. I have to say once the noise died down from below I slept like a log and slept right through the night which I never do so thank you.
Rooms not near to eachother as requested. Room 10 heater appeared to be malfunctioning. On booking in the room wasn't very warm. Also bed hadn't been split as requested and a camp bed had been put up which wasn't suitable for my tall 16 year old granddaughter. Following my complaint I was inforned it would be 'sorted'. On return to the room later that evening the bed had been split but the room was now overly hot. The heater temperature was immediately turned down but remained extremely hot 23°c all night so their sleep wasn't good as they were too hot. I just think the heater needs looking at. Rooms 4 & 6 were excellent although door number needs painting on door as we couldn't find it and wasn't shown to rooms 4 and 6. He did show my daughte and granddaughter how to get to room 10 as Tom, the Manager, said it was outside in a different block.
good breakfast. lovely cheerful service
no parking
Such a friendly landlady. She was exceptional
Leaving!
The first day excellent - Helen was very attentive and an excellent hostess. The food was excellent. My Son and Granddaughter arrived to pick me up and Helen offered them something to eat and drink. Louise (6) accepted with a very happy smile and had some toast and strawberry jam and juice! A really nice gesture fromHelen
On the second day Helen was away. Had told.me the day before. I came down to breakfast- nobody around. Cleaning lady had to search for someone.. no table prepared. The man in charge finally came and told me he'd been told.by a colleague I wasn't having breakfast - strange and not true. Was a sad situation because I wanted a lovely calm breakfast like the day before and this was anything but.
friendliness and helpfulness of staff, great location, able to park by side of hotel due to friendly neighbour. beautiful décor, breakfast was gorgeous
liked it all
Lovely overnight stay with great breakfast. Special mention to Helen, General Manager, for her warm and friendly manner. Shared love of dogs! Would definitely recommend. 😊🐶
Location
We stayed in room 5 directly above the front door, was noisy at pub closing time. Also old single pain glass windows so Zero sound proofing from the road outside.
