Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Perfect location with charming staff. The menu for a cocktail was hilariously overpriced, but the rooms were extremely comfortable and with being so central we were able to enjoy a meal in the centre and collapse into bed before our next big journey north and home to UK.
Price of the cocktails. It was really unnecessary to be so expensive

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026The hotel was typically French, beautiful old building, lots of original features. Lovely courtyard garden. Breakfast was lovely served at the table with a choice of hot food as well as continental. The hotel was a short walk to the medieval centre.
Parking. I chose a Hotel with parking, I didn’t realise parking was not on site. It was either street parking or public parking. Booking.Com need another filter to show which Hotels have private parking and which is public parking.

L'accueil et la superficie de la chambre. Le rapport qualité prix, la chambre trop petite. La qualité des installations. Pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre, et le fils électrique de la bouilloire trop courte pour pouvoir se servir de l'eau chaude ! La qualité du petit déjeuner était quelconque. Rapport qualité-prix cette fois encore à désirer.

Onze kamer was relatief klein en douchen in bad kan echt niet meer in deze klasse. Het ontbijt was stevig aan de prijs (ruim duurder dan het diner in hetzelfde hotel) en niet heel uitgebreid.

's Avonds in restaurant van hotel gegeten, was superlekker! Zwembad (ook al is het klein) was ook top, om af te koelen. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Das Hotel hatte eine gute, ruhige Lage in der Nähe der alten Innenstadt. Toller Innenhof und gemütliche Ausstattung.
Preis Leistungsverhältnis völlig überteuert, das Hotel lebt noch vom alten Charme. Das Personal war freundlich aber nicht aufmerksam. Alle Zusatzkosten sind überteuert, Parken auf einem Miniparkplatz ( max. 3 Autos Hinterhof ) 30,- pro Nacht, Frühstück war mit sehr schnippischem Personal in keinster Weise mit 30,- Pro Person zu rechtfertigen. Eine lieblose Frühstückspyramide, zusätzliches Omelett da gab es nicht mal frische Kräuter dazu. Hund pro Nacht ebenfalls 40,- Euro. Zimmer war einem 3 Sterne Hotel entsprechend leider nichts besonders wie erwartet. Die Stadt hatte früher sicher sehr viel Charme, leider ist sie jetzt sehr schmutzig, die Kultur ist sehr arabisch und der alte Charme ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Sehr schade.

De prijs voor de kamer vond ik achteraf gezien te duur. Kleine, krakerige kamer met niet zo heel veel comfort. Maar dan wel super proper en netjes.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, from helping with reservations to packing a great little take-away breakfast for us when we needed to depart at 5am to make our way back to Paris. All of the amenities are exactly right, with just the right level of quirkiness in a remodeled medieval building. We have stayed twice and will absolutely be back again.
