Great staff. One star that fully, 100% goes to the sweet and attentive staff that works in the hotel, absolutely nothing negative to say about them.

Toilet disaster. Everything else about this hotel is absolutely horrible. First of all the toilet: it’s a door in the bedroom, there is no bathroom, without a proper wall going all the way to the ceiling so you can smell everything that’s going on there when you’re in bed. The shower didn’t even have a door and every morning we were welcomed by a really strong ammonia smell from other people in the hotel using the facilities. Noise. Family friendly hotel: but no one thinks about where to let a family with a baby sleep. Right above the stage that hosts a loud show every night that starts at 9.30pm? Yes why not. Plus the door to our hotel room didn’t fit its frame properly and the cracks let through light and a lot of noise. Wardrobe not functioning. The doors didn’t open and close properly and could only be used with brutal force. Basic food. The food wasn’t great, basic. Not what you would expect from €350 a night in a 4-star hotel. The water machines had a sign that said not allowed to fill your water bottle. We were advised to buy a bottle of water outside. Again, an all inclusive stay of €350 a night but buy your own water. Misleading pool photos. The pool area was shot with a great wide angle camera and in real life looks rather small and disappointing not to mention very crowded as if they’ve tried to jam as many sunbeds on the deck as possible. Unreachable. We contacted booking.com and they wanted to make us a relocation offer but couldn’t reach hotel management. The reception gave them three different numbers but none answered. We are still hoping to get in touch with someone from the hotel and set this straight because our holiday was ruined.

Tiene una muy buena ubicación ya que estás a a 5 min de la playa y las vistas al lago son impresionantes. Limpiaban las habitaciones todos los días y te dejan toallas nuevas cada 2 días y se agradece.

A la hora de la comida no había mucha variedad y la comida estaba sin sabor . El resto de comidas (desayuno y cena) muy bien. El hotel no está insonorizado y se escuchaba todo. Incluso escuché a alguien roncar de la otra habitación contigua. Las bebidas que incluyen en el “todo incluido “ son marcas malas. Si quieres marcas buenas tienes que pagar en otro bar que hay alado que es del mismo hotel. Está destinado más a turistas ingleses que a españoles ya que todos los shows son en inglés.

Great location, clean hotel, entertainment staff and cleaning staff work so hard but bar staff, not much interaction whilst serving, not very smiley. Rooms are very small ( struggled to walk around past bed. We stayed in a double room, they look wider on photos and they are very basic, no kettle in rooms, 1 english channel on tv ( sky news) would not class this as a 4 star hotel.

Having spent 10 days here, I can confirm that Alua Boccaccio is by far one of the best hotels i’ve ever stayed at. of course the best best entertainment from Davide, Julio and Rabab- absolute super stars we will miss you all and all the other staff too! hopefully see you again soon! the hotel itself was spotless (i like the choice of seating and how we can’t have plates at the pool as it prevents ants) and the service was unbelievably immaculate- if there was a problem, staff would fix it immediately. the food was also gorgeous, lots of different cuisines every night. having being right in the high street, we actually ended up going out for dinner a couple of times so the location for us was perfect. The entertainment was brilliant as mentioned before. In the day, everyday we have darts, ping pong and sometimes aqua gym/fun followed by bingo and waterpolo or archery! The animators really try to get you involved which is so fun and helps people make friends! at night, the entertainment was different every night with a variety of singing, flamenco, acrobatics, and games (bingo was extremely fun but i’m biased because i won it once) also not to forget about the sangria and mojito making so if you’re going half board then make yourself lots and lots! Again, i cannot recommend this hotel enough. From the entertainment, to the cleanliness, service and location, my time here has been spent well. Thank you to all the animators, bar staff and receptionists - big shoutouts to Pau, Jaime and Noel who were so friendly and lovely all the times we either needed something or just wanted to have a quick chat. Stayed for one week with my boyfriend.. The hotel overall is lovely and we enjoyed. The rooms were very small and the two singles pushed together should not pass as a double room. As a couple this was very uncomfortable and the beds kept slipping apart. I asked the receptionist if there were any double beds available but he said they are fully booked so the double beds are all occupied but he said he would let me know if a room with one became available but unfortunately never did. The staff at the poolside bar were great, lovely gentleman working everyday who provided good service. The buffet food was very mixed as some nights for dinner there were different choices such as paella and then some other nights it was just pizza. So we thought this could have been better. THE LOCATION IS AMAZING! You are right next to local shops, beach and a bus stop that gets you to the port or the old town in less than 20 minutes. Get the 324 or 315 from across the road! (do not get a taxi, it was such a long wait that we gave up and just got the bus) The old town is definitely worth a visit it was beautiful and there is a great rooftop bar that a kind receptionist told us about. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and one of the highlights was definitely on the Thursday when a man was playing the saxophone poolside, we wish he was there more often. It was such a lovely vibe. Hope this helps anyone !

Well situated hotel with very close access to the beautiful beach. Room very clean and maid service excellent. Rooms are on the small side however and the double bed is two singles pushed together which comes apart leaving a large gap between the two beds. Reception staff very friendly and helpful especially Anna. Restaurant looks nice however food doesn’t have a huge variety (this seems to have reduced since we last stayed two years ago). Large selection was now fish which didn’t suit my partner who is allergic to all fish and seafood. He had to be very careful with the hot plates as the few Meat dishes were cooked alongside the fish. He was pretty restricted to the same pizza and pasta which was served daily Could do with water bottles being available at the poolside also. Nice pool but small and sun lounges always taken first thing and so we spent the time at the beach. Overall we did have a lovely holiday but were only there for a few days and I think much longer the food would have really let us down

Our stay exceeded all expectations! A friendly staff that upgraded us to the bigger room on the 4th floor for free. I asked for a kettle and have been given one immediately. The beds are very comfy and AC works excellent. The food and drinks were amazing: very fresh and a good variety. I honestly don't understand how can people be complaining about it. A beautiful beach just around the corner. We went as a couple of friends and are definitely coming back. Thank you for making our experience so great!

A hotel I'd be happy to return to anytime :) The rooms were tiny, but the staff's hospitality, the cleanliness, the entertainment program every evening, and the all-inclusive package more than made up for it.

Hotel lovely and clean . Evening entertainment was good I think more choice on hot food would be good. Lifeguard told my daughter no floats/ lilo in pool but I didn’t see any signs saying this information but then another child had one which was bigger and permitted 3 days later

A partire dagli animatori al personale di sala alla reception, personale educato e accogliente (è quello che salva sempre le grandi aziende, SEMPRE!). Struttura bella, pulita, ottimi i piatti in cucina anche se poi diventano piuttosto ripetitivi.

A 2 ore dalla nostra partenza da Malpensa riceviamo un messaggio da parte della struttura dove, per motivi ancora ignoti (sicuramente overbooking) ci hanno dirottato su un’altra sede (Aluasun Continental) con “il premio di consolazione” dell’appartamento e dell’all inclusive. Considerando che avevamo prenotato a Maggio e che abbiamo una bimba di 11 mesi, struttura e zona erano state studiate nei minimi dettagli ed è stato piuttosto triste per noi ritrovarci in una struttura diversa, sporca e con meno servizi rispetto a quelli che avevamo programmato. Il giorno dopo siamo andati di persona in Alua Boccaccio e abbiamo spiegato il problema. Il giorno dopo ci hanno accolto riservandoci una camera con box per bambino e l’all inclusive. Avrei dato volentieri anche un 9, ma questa esperienza non ci è piaciuta affatto! PS. Piscina piccolina (quando c’è la partita di pallanuoto i bagnanti possono starsene fuori perché non c’è lo spazio per entrambe le attività). PS2: Camera bella, pulitissima, ma con poca privacy per chi va in bagno (diviso da un semplice vetro rispetto alla zona notte). Inoltre abbiamo dovuto piazzare 2 asciugamani sulle finestre per evitare che la luce ci svegliasse (le finestre del bagno e della doccia sono proprio frontali al letto e non essendoci muri, la luce non viene minimamente filtrata).

The Worst Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In My wife and I spent our holiday at Alua Boccaccio, and unfortunately, this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, especially considering the price. I honestly cannot understand how this hotel has a 4-star rating. In my opinion, even 2 stars would be generous. Rooms – 3/10 The rooms are extremely small and cramped, with barely enough space to move around. If you’re travelling as a couple and expecting a proper double bed, don’t. Every room has two separate single beds pushed together instead of a real double bed. To make things even worse, the beds are on wheels, so they constantly slide apart. Every single night we ended up sleeping separately with a large gap between us because the beds kept moving. For a couple, this is completely unacceptable. In five years of travelling, this is the first hotel where I’ve experienced something like this. There are also no bathrobes and no disposable slippers, which was another surprise for a hotel claiming to be 4 stars. Food – 1/10 The food was by far the biggest disappointment. It was the worst food I have ever had in any hotel. Breakfast was exactly the same every single day. Every other day they changed only two or three dishes, and that was the only difference. The selection was extremely limited, repetitive, and lacked quality. Unfortunately, my wife also suffered food poisoning during our stay, making our holiday even worse. Staff – 2/10 The staff were neither friendly nor welcoming. During our entire stay, the reception staff never greeted us once. I also overheard several other guests complaining about the staff. The only people who were consistently polite and greeted us every day were the housekeeping staff. Bars & Drinks – 2/10 The drinks are of very poor quality. The beach bar is disappointing, but the pool bar is even worse. Wi-Fi – 1/10 The Wi-Fi is terrible. I had connection problems every single day. Honestly, I’ve had better internet in the mountains than in this hotel. Entertainment – 2/10 The entertainment is extremely boring. There was nothing enjoyable or memorable during our stay. Location The only real positive about this hotel is its location. The beach is around a 4–5 minute walk away. Overall Every single day I regretted choosing this hotel. This has been the worst hotel experience of my life. If you don’t want to ruin your holiday, choose literally any other hotel. In my opinion, this hotel deserves no more than 2 stars. I will never come back and absolutely cannot recommend it.

After reading the reviews online, I was really looking forward to our holiday - unfortunately we did not have a positive experience, and this is not a 4 star hotel. The hotel reception is pleasant and the food is as expected at an all inclusive, but these are the only positives. The rooms are very small and dated. The wallpaper was covered in brown stains. The shower tray was cheap. The air con is awful. Barely works and when it does work it leaks. When reported to reception they sent an engineer who fixes in temporarily - no apology for the inconvenience when the room is boiling hot at 3am so you cannot sleep. Tried to call down to reception but like everything in the room - it did not work. The fridge did not work, and me and my partner have stayed in hostels with better rooms. The pool is very small and over crowded especially when water polo is on and the hotel has frequent power cuts. The drinks were watered down and they operate a token system which is fine when you understand it. Water bottles in the room are not replaced and you cannot fill you water bottle from the water machines due to ‘health reasons’. Overall I am disappointed with my stay and would not recommend - whilst staff are pleasant they were dismissive when issues were raised rather than taking any accountability. There are lots of nice hotels in the area - so I wouldn’t recommend this one.

The rooms are not a 4*. There was dirty marks all up the wall, the shower tray was cheap, rooms very small. Air con didn’t work - we had leaks and when it was fixed it didn’t work. Tried to call reception and phone doesn’t work. Fridge doesn’t work. Pool is very small. Just not a great stay and wouldn’t recommend!

Schöne Lage, direkt am See zu essen ist toll und man kann schön die Vögel beobachten. Das Hotel liegt nah am Meer, welches wunderschön ist.

Das Essen war minderwertig. Trotz All-Inclusive sind wir abends auswärts essen gegangen, da es leider nicht geschmeckt hat. Leider haben auch die Früchte nicht vergleichbar zu anderen Hotels geschmeckt. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich klein und eng sowie hellhörig. Leider hört man in der Nacht so die angetrunkenen Gäste.

It was bright in the room with two windows that didn’t have blinds. The bed was old with a dip in it. They played music until 11pm every night.

Tanto el desayuno cómo en la cena habia poca variedad, somos un grupo de amigos que vinieron a realizar la 312, solicitabamos que hubiera el desayuno montado a las 5:00, nos indicaron en recepción que estaria preparado, al llegar a las 5:00 estaba el personal aún preparando la sala.

El hotel en si falta arreglarlo, en mi piso los cristales del pasillo están crujidos se podrían cambiar. La limpieza de las ventanas también deja que desear, tanto habitación como pasillo. En la habitación falta oscuridad para dormir( cortinas oscuras en ventanas pequeñas .También pensaba que el hotel era más grande e tenía más cosas . . Gracias.

Piscina fria, barulho nos corredores de manhã (hóspedes e funcionários do hotel falavam alto). Não havia música ambiente na zona da piscina, nem animação. A animação noturna acabava às 23h, poderia prolongar-se mais um pouco, pois quem acaba de jantar às 22h (hora de fecho do buffet) usufrui apenas de 1h de animação.

Clean modern hotel, welcoming reception. The room was the smallest twin we have (as a couple) ever stayed in. I think that they ticked the minimum of boxes to rate a 4 star. Wardrobe non existent and will not accommodate dresses or trousers, skirts and shirts are fine. Bathroom is adequate but only 1 in there at a time! Small patio with chairs and a table. The housekeeping team work very hard to keep on top of cleanliness in the rooms and are to be commended. We were full board and wine and water were included at lunch and dinner. Fully inclusive also had soft drinks and beer included with their tariff. Food is of a reasonable quality with a decent variety. Entertainment is almost non existent apart from singers for a couple of nights, with karaoke and dancing too. The pool is very small and I can envisage problems during high season. The hotel’s situation prohibits any expansion to accommodate more guests. There is nothing to entertain children and for many families they might find that this is a problem. However the beach is only a few hundred meters away with sports available. The whole team make this hotel work despite it’s relative restrictions.

The hotel itself was lovely, really close to the beach and bus stops. Very clean, the room being sufficient for 2 people and the shower was exceptional. However, the pool was closed for the whole of our stay which was extremely inconvenient. The food was decent but extremely repetitive - nonetheless did the job. Additionally, I would note that if you are seeking a fun yet restful holiday with a younger demographic, this is not the hotel for you unfortunately, felt very judged during our stay. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay but I fear it would be better to stay here in the summer months, not spring.

Wir hatten Halbpension, was uns sehr gestört hat das wir keine Trinkmöglichkeiten am Pool u. vorm Speisesaal trotz Bargeld nicht nutzen konnten u. nur für All inclusive Gäste waren.

Stayed 6 nights from 18th of October, booked through EasyJet. We were very happy with all aspects of the hotel. The rooms were very acceptable, good pressure in the shower. Comments have been made about the size, but we found them fine for a short break. There is an app you can download and through this you can make housekeeping and maintenance requests. We used it to report a problem one morning with one of the sockets, by the time we came back to our room it was fixed. Plenty of choice at all mealtimes in the buffet restaurant. Drinks were very good, San Miguel and Cava included and generous measures of the spirits. Entertainment was on each night usually a singer, duo. In the daytime there was an option to do darts, bingo, archery, aqua aerobics and more. We especially liked the facility to use the AI at the beach, drinks and snacks available also ask for an ice cream, there are small pots available. We hired beach beds, not part of the hotel, these cost 9 euros each and came with a safe box on the umbrella. The sea was very clear and it does not get too deep. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel if you want to do something different. We got a taxi to the Old Town on market day, there were big queues for the buses and often full when they came. The taxi was about 8/9 euros each way. Loads of stalls in the market and lots of lovely places to eat and drink. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, good location, clean, delicious food, all inclusive valid until we departed in the afternoon. Great staff, a very relaxed and easy break.

Hotel was pleasant overall. Building was well maintained. Food and drinks were always available. The ‘Spanish measures’ here are no joke. You need to be specific about how much spirit you want. The selection of food wasn’t overly varied, large salad selection but meat selection was sparse. The pool was very cold, struggled to get in and wasn’t in for long. Good location for the sun. Entertainment was good, staff trying to get you involved in the day and very cheerful at night. Rooms are small but this didn’t bother us. Beach is no more than 10 min walk and super market next door.

Nice hotel walking distance to the beach. Shops surrounded the hotel which was very convenient. The main bar didn't open until 7pm which was a shame however the pool bar was open all day. Entertainment was hit and miss and not all night Entertainment went on until 11pm. Food was great with plenty of choice. My dad had a disabled room which was big enough for a mobility scooter however there was a lack of grab rails in the bathroom which would have made his experience much better. Mattress was very soft which made you feel like you were sloping off the bed, I had a comfortable sleep however my dad found the mattress uncomfortable. Staff were all great and helpful with enquiries. The lifts were small meaning nobody else could get in when if you were using a mobility scooter and the safe you had to pay for which should be free in my opinion.

Amazing hotel with lovely staff. Check in staff really nice and helping, entertainment team the best. Everyone in the hotel was nice. Food was delicious. Every day you had something different for lunch and dinner. Wide ice cream selection. Honestly that was the best food I had from all the Spanish hotels. It’s proper food not just nuggets. Pool food was great too and the beach bar was lovely. You could help yourself with toasties and fruit and alcoholic drinks on the beach. Loved the lake beside it, it was soo beautiful, especially having breakfast outside with the beautiful view. Entertainment people were soo funny and friendly everyone loved them. There was a lot of activities through out the day like darts, arrow shooting, I think dancing classes and think bingo as well. Also they did cocktail making class at the pool and you could also do proper wine tasting class. The hotel is right beside all the shops and restaurants. 2 minute walk to the beach. Guest were well behaved and mannered. All different nationalities. Will definitely come back.

De foto’s stellen het hotel véél idyllischer voor dan het is. We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een kamer zonder balkon, terwijl we een kamer met een balkon hadden geboekt. In de kamer veel zaken verouderd, mieren op de kamer, roeste vuilbakken en slecht geïsoleerd. Het Engels ontbijtbuffet met frisdranken viel bij ons niet in de smaak.

Great time at this hotel , 7 days of great food and alcohol with a superb comfortable room. Met lots of really friendly people from all nations, noticed a lot of Germans, Many of them were rude and ignorant . The entertainment in the day was great , we played darts, French boules and bingo, won a couple of prizes , night time shows were brilliant too, but the main thing was the entertainment staff, Giam Luca was fantastic and the other guy too. The weather was bad for 4 days, storms, but that didn't put us off having a great time. Beach bar is also good to escape the hotel for a bit. Thanks to everyone we met for a brilliant time , we will return spring next year.

Excellent food with little repetition and all very well prepared and presented. Great location close enough to the beach and local night life. All staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help. We'll be looking to book here again 100%

Just got home from a 5 night stay at this hotel, 1st impressions are really good. Lovely clean and inviting reception area, check in was easy and we were told about the bars that were included in the all inclusive etc, pool towels can be provided with a £10 euro returnable deposit for 2 and we found this an advantage we didn’t have to travel with our own, we rented a safe for our stay which provided us with added security. We had a pool view room which was quite compact but very clean and we never struggled with the size. The cleaners came every day to make the beds and gave us clean towels daily, couldn’t fault them. The all Inclusive drinks were what you would expect, loved that the wines were served from a bottle instead of the normal pump machines you find in some all inclusive. Cava pink and white was available at breakfast too, and red, rose and white wine in bottles in ice buckets at lunch and dinner. The food was hit and miss, sometimes I found there were lots of choice on a day and other days I struggled for choice but this is what you would expect on an all inclusive your not going to like every option but we never went without a meal and enjoyed plenty. The beach bar which was included was an excellent added bonus as we used this for drinks and snacks on beach days. We always found a sun bed by the pool, although some areas are shadier than others due to a few trees in the grounds. We enjoyed the sax player one day who was playing there. We only watched the evening entertainment on two occasions, we would have like this to start a little earlier as it seemed you were just hanging around until 9.30pm for it to start which is why we went out three of the evenings to enjoy the local bars entertainment earlier. The last live act at the hotel we watched were a singing trio from South Africa and they were amazing, the hotel dealt well with it starting to rain just as the act was about to start and made sure it went ahead indoors. All staff we encountered were friendly, I was even sent a bottle of bubbly from the hotel up to my room as I was celebrating a special birthday during my stay which I really loved, thank you! The surrounding area we found was pleasant with plenty of shops and bars and easy stroll (30 mins) to the port, all in all we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend and return again if visiting alcudia 😀

A well-located hotel in Alcúdia, very close to the beach. The food is repetitive and tasteless. The staff is very friendly polite people and easy to get along with. The rooms have terrible soundproofing; you can hear people walking in the hallway you can hear everything. It’s not a hotel for young people; most guests are elderly. Other than that, I wouldn’t go back. For those looking for a well-located 4-star hotel, it’s a decent option but it’s more suitable for older guests.

Lovely clean hotel with helpful happy staff. We loved the food. If you want quality pizza and chips it's not for you but if you want a varied daily selection of Mediterranean food you will be happy. The drinks selection is very good. The beach bar was a massive bonus for us as we used the beach most days as it was so good-crystal clear warm water and fine sand. Rooms were a bit small but kept very clean every day -the walls were a bit thin! All in all would definitely recommend this hotel. The resort was a bit quiet for us-maybe the time of year but very little in the way of live entertainment in the bars. There was only an hour or so at the hotel so we were looking for live bands etc.

We had all inclusive services, the food was very good, paellas are so delicious. Several types of fishes and pork, lamb, beef, veal - you can get all of them. The staff is nice, Davide is great entertainer. Location is perfect, lot of restaurants and shops are nearby. The beach is close and it's great the hotel has a beach bar! You can park free of charge in the sorrounding streets.

Pools are not so big, but OK.

Lovely hotel, great location with lots of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Bus stops immediately behind the pool bar so public transport access to the town is very close by. Exceptionally clean and well run main restaurant with attentive staff constantly replenishing food choices and maintaining clean up. Great selection and choice of good quality food, with only one or two dishes disappointing us - potato for salads were undercooked, scrambled eggs were very plain, and some breakfast potatoes seemed reheated and powdery. However, really great overall and something for all tastes. Hotel rooms were small, but clean with comfortable beds. Air conditioning a little underpowered. Communal areas all clean and well maintained. Lovely outlook to inland lake and a very short walk to the beautiful beach with access to the beach bar, - included with all inclusive guests.

Anna have give us a warmth welcoming in reception,housekeeping was the best clean and tidy and professional service. The restaurant breakfast buffet was so good with a large selection of food staff restaurant very helpful and professional

First visit to this hotel and the area. What a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, staff are very good. We only jad breakfast which was very nice, good choices. All inclusive is available. You can also go bed and breakfast and just pay for the evenings you want to eat in. Rooms are compact but have everything you need. Cleaned daily. Pool area is very nice. Absolutely loved the front of the hotel where the bar and icecream was. We loved sitting there in the evening with a cocktail and icecream people watching or playing cards. The position of the hotel is good. Close to the beach, shops and loads of restaurants. We loved Roma opposite. The lake views are great.
