Provider-sourced guest reviews.
Arrival at the venue was wow factor. Beautiful building, topiary and grounds. Our room was relaxing with a small balcony overlooking the gardens. It was peaceful despite a wedding being held there. Very comfortable bed, neat decor. The staff were friendly, professional and made us feel important. We were shown to our room. Told where all the facilities were . Restaurant and bar staff were very friendly, they worked hard as a team to provide a great service. Food was excellent with good sized portions. Would definitely go back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of luxury for a special occasion
Nothing
Beautiful period property. Bedroom and bathroom excellent. Lovely old world charm in bar and lounge. Beautiful gardens and plenty of areas to relax
Nothing to dislike
The grounds and main building were lovely.
The room we had was part of an out building and had to walk to the main hotel for meals, which we were not advised of at time of booking. Had to have an umbrella or rain coat to hand. It was one of the rooms awaiting an upgrade hence there were some things needing attention and repair, ie chain on outside door, roller blind, extraction fan...
Breakfast, location and the second bed.
1 limited vegetarian choice. 2 tasteless sauce with halibut. 3 tv not working properly. 4 dreadful mattress, couldn't belive this had not been spotted before by staff, hopefully now changed for next customer, after complaining we were given another room.
Seckford Hall was relaxing beautiful and the staff were lovely.
Beautiful setting and ambiance of hotel

Breakfast room too small to accommodate the amount of guests wanting breakfast my daughter waited almost an hour for a full English we ate ours before hers came and my other daughter and her husband had to eat outside Nice breakfast but looked there there was only two staff
The history of the place, and, in part, its location.
We had Room #7, The Tudor Room, staying as were for the fact of a remembrance lunch to my father, who died just over 10 weeks ago due to cancer, and who’s 80th birthday the meal was for. On the Saturday night there was a wedding, and on the Sunday night there was a wedding, the ‘Eve’ party. The ‘Eve’ party kept both myself and my wife awake throughout the night, due to their continual LOUDNESS. And I mean LOUDNESS. Given I, we, stayed at the hotel to remember my father. Equally the hot plate breakfasts that we received in the mornings were very poor. I had a vegetarian breakfast, which had one half of a tomato, one mushroom, one vegetarian sausage and a few beans, with no hash brown. My wife, during our two night stay, had zero sleep from both of the nights at your hotel due to the insensitive LOUDNESS of the Eve party.
The bed were comfy that’s about it!
The service was poor! If you are 6ft and taller it’s difficult to stay here! My head was above the door frame for my toilet! I stayed for a wedding and in the morning there was no seats for us to sit on for breakfast even though the wedding party was meant to have the private room, we asked to sit outside to be told no but there was nowhere else for us to sit! The juices wasn’t topped up and there was nowhere else plates for you to get pastries! Then no spoons for the cereal! I had to ask someone after about 8 mins of walking around to find someone! Then my breakfast finally arrived to snotty poached eggs and no cutlery! A waitress arrived mid breakfast service unfortunately I didn’t catch her name but from the moment she arrived everything got better she couldn’t do enough for us! Kept checking we had enough and making sure we was okay!
The location is great
The room was very small compared to to the one I had previously I hurt myself on the door frame to the bathroom several times. I am only 6ft tall There I no air con.
Room was lovely, very comfortable. Hotel itself and grounds are beautiful. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was good (shame no iced coffees but can’t fault it otherwise).
Would have liked more of an introduction to the hotel at check in, where to find everything etc. No fitness/gym facilities which is a shame. If booking last minute access to spa and treatments are hard to come by.
Beautiful house and lovely grounds
Could have been cleaner, shower rail was broken, electric socket was incomplete and looked dangerous, shower had no pressure, room was a bit grubby and men’s toilets were disgustingly filthy.
Beautiful old building and fantastic breakfast.
No loo brushes in the rooms, and some offers/inclusions weren't made clear, such as the range of coffees available at breakfast and the inclusion of sauna and steam room when booking a pool session.
Loved the Tudor history, spa, swimming pool and staff. Great breakfasts and good dinner options.
Wedding was very loud - but was with a 7 & 10 year old! Just be careful of this when booking in.
Seckford Hall is an amazing building full of history. Staff are very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is excellent. The views off the patio to the lake and grounds is beautiful.
Unfortunately, our room had an issue with the shower. However, the person on reception was very helpful in looking to sort out the problem and come up with an alternative solution.
Beautiful and traditional layout. Excellent breakfast.
The bathroom and room were too small from what I anticipated for a signature room. Bed was not made properly. There was some noise from somewhere at night disturbing us. In general I find such quality hotels in the UK are way behind those we have stayed in in both the Far and Middle East.
Gorgeous - good quality ingredients and plenty of options
Grounds were beautiful and staff were amazing
Nothing everything was perfect
would of been nice to have a full length mirror not a big issue as was not in the room very long, but the tv channels did not seem to work.
We were really happy with everything! The lovely historic building (super old but well maintained), the food (tasty and very creative menu), the bar, the grounds were all excellent. All the staff we interacted with were helpful, friendly and very attentive
Nothing major, but more attention to the spa area would take it to the next level, e.g. one of the saunas was cold. Still enjoyed it though, feels like very small touches needed to get it to perfect
The age of the hotel and the fact that so many Elizabethan decorative features were still there - very different. Staff were very pleasant.
The outside door in our ground floor room was in a dreadful decorative condition ; it should have been decorated some time ago though the room itself was absolutely fine.
Absolutely amazing, the attention to detail, care and common sense was perfect! Would highly recommend.
Nothing, it was all great.
Beautiful grounds and helpful staff. Restaurant was good.
Very uncomfortable bed. Felt old. Springs popping through the sheets.
Beautiful property with exceptional service
No faults
Could benefit from air conditioning in the rooms, or more powerful fans.
Beautiful house, lovely ground floor room and most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for ages. Beautiful spa with outdoor hot tubs to make the best of our hot summer.
The accommodation was stunning, and the staff were all very helpful and professional.
I cannot fault it
Comfortable room.Food excellent. Presentation super.Staff smart ,polite & attentative at all times
Great location, beautiful house, great rooms, gorgeous and well kept grounds. Food was lovely, drinks brilliant, staff fantastic. Spa wonderful.
The standard of painting and decorating let the room down. I wouldn’t hire them again!
Breakfast was wonderful. Lots of choice.
A bit more choice on the bar food
Stunning building and grounds. Fantastic food and drinks menu. Lovely facilities including the spa with outdoor sauna and cold plunge. We had the loft room which was beautifully designed. Lovely staff who were all very friendly
The room was a tad on the warm side, however this is to be expected during a heat wave! We were given a fan to make us more comfortable. Sadly the record player in the room was broken and had no needle, it was a shame
The staff were exceptional.
Perfect stay
Everything
Very friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable room. Excellent dinner. Nice spa.
Itvwas the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in , so comfortable
Everything was perfect

Lovely character property in a very central location near the castle
Just one toilet and bathroom but we managed okay over our two night stay with six people
Luxurious, comfortable and amazing staff. Stayed here for a short break to unwind and it was just what we needed. Hotel is a historic building with all the comforts of a modern hotel. Staff were all polite and friendly being attentive but not intrusive. We used the spa for pool, hot tub and massage. All areas were spotlessly clean and our massages with Gabriel were so relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked with a really good choice. We only had a sharing board in the evening but that was tasty! It is located 6 minutes drive from Woodbridge town centre, and we drove 90 minutes for a day in Southwold. This may be a higher price than other local hotels but is well worth the money.
Literally everything the look the decor the facilities it was fabulous
Not a thing it was fantastic throughout
Beware - it's a popular wedding venue and the night time reception disco noise was LOUD. I stayed with a friend for a few nights hoping for some real R&R. It's not a cheap stay, so we were excited to really get quality sleep and enjoy being in such a beautiful location. Night 1 (a Monday), there's a wedding on till midnight with a loud DJ. Impossible to sleep. The night staff say this is a regular problem and that the reservation team never mention if a wedding is on when people are booking. Our room was very close which made zero sense when they could have put the wedding party there. Thankfully Alex from the nights team moved us to another building (this was after already asking the other night staff guy who said there was nothing he could do.... turns out there was, and he was ok with us having a miserable night.) You might expect this on a Saturday, but not on a Monday, surely? Night 2, Tuesday, another wedding... The staff are lovely, the spa is great, rooms are clean. There's a lot to like. Just watch out because if there's a wedding on, the beautiful grounds are used so I felt I couldn't walk about, you don't want to be in the main house and they shouldn't charge you extra for it.
Location amazing- very pretty and tranquil . Friendly staff, basic spa but good value for money- felt posh but not too formal. Would go again- especially in the summer.
If you are looking for a wedding venue that will completely blow your guests away and give you a stress-free, magical wedding day, look no further than Seckford Hall. From our very first viewing to the moment we checked out the morning after our wedding, everything was executed flawlessly. The venue itself is breathtakingly beautiful. The moment our guests arrived, they were stunned by the house itself, the grounds, picturesque lake, outdoor ceremony space and the wonderful spa . It provided the most incredible backdrop for our wedding photographs. The layout flows naturally from the ceremony space to the reception area, meaning our guests were always comfortable and the energy of the day never dropped. What truly sets this venue apart is the incredible team. Our coordinator, Ieuaf, is an absolute superhero. He answered every single email within hours, kept us calm throughout the planning process, and managed the day-of timeline with military precision. We did not have to worry about a single detail on the day because the staff were always one step ahead, serving drinks with a smile and making sure our guests were looked after. He was fully supported by the whole staff team at Seckford Hall, nothing was too much for anyone. The catering team surpassed all expectations. The Roast Pork and Beef Bourguignon, was served hot, and timed beautifully. They were also incredibly accommodating with our guests' dietary requirements and allergies, making changes seamlessly. Choosing Seckford Hall was the best decision we made for our wedding. They did not just host our event; they created an unforgettable experience for us and our loved ones. If you want a venue with a heart, stunning aesthetics, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day perfect, book them immediately. You will not regret it! Our guests left breakfast the morning after our wedding, asking for information about future events there/Christmas party nights due to the location, value and cleanliness of the venue. I am sure we will all be returning very soon! PS - A huge highlight for us was that the venue is incredibly dog friendly, with dog friendly rooms allowing our first born pup to join in with all aspects of our special day! Wow what a beautiful place to stay, really friendly, attentive, lovely staff, Mel & Courtney on reception, Elliot in the Tudor Bar, restaurant staff all exceptional and so helpful, made our wedding anniversary stay so special and memorable, we loved it so much we’ve booked for next year 😍
Nothing not to like
Wow we had an amazing 3 night stay for our wedding anniversary, what a beautiful hotel, perfect location, it was lovely. Staff very friendly, helpful, attentive and made our stay so memorable, we loved it so much we've booked to return next year, thank you to Mel for helping us in choosing the right room for next July. Elliott in the Tudor Bar was brilliant and the food is outstanding, recommend afternoon tea that was delicious, can't fault it and the staff all work so hard.

Lovely building with nice atmosphere and character, staff friendly and helpful.
Showers only dribbled, no biscuits on our room. Fire alarm went off at 4am but no one came round to say not to vacate the building or offered an apology or explanation the next day. We booked a pre wedding party meal for 22 people which was pre ordered but took an hour to be served, food excellent when eventually arrived.
We had a wonderful stay for a 30th birthday. The staff were excellent, attentive and knowledgeable. We did the tasting menu which was delicious - recommend the wine flight. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food. Spa was excellent, and breakfast the next day was perfect. Strongly recommend - beautiful grounds too
The hotel went well above my expectations. We had the most incredible stay, very relaxing and just what we needed. The staff were attentive and friendly, the spa was wonderful. Food great too. Will be back!
Sitting in the garden having coffee and lunch when we first arrive.
We have attended this venue every year for the past 6 years for our wedding anniversary. Boiler issues for the past two years, last year no hot water so they moved us to another room. After one night we had to pack our things and move to a suite which they provided, we were only there 3 nights. This year water again couldn’t use the shower as it didn’t regulate properly. Meals were far too expensive for what you got. Stairs are extremely dangerous as they get narrower on the bend and lighting not good either on them.
Seckford Hall This is a country house hotel near Woodbridge in Suffolk, with 41 rooms. The main building is very grand, with a suit of armour on display as you enter. It is a Tudor manor that dates back to the 1530s. We had a three night stay here (room 34) in July 2026. This room was separate from the main building, in a courtyard area with a few other rooms, a short walk and up a slope from the main building. The hotel has multiple car parks, though they were quite full on the weekend that we stayed as the place was busy. The hotel has a spa with a swimming pool. There is a fine terrace at the back with chairs and tables, and drinks are served there. There is also a quiet large walled garden, with a gazebo in one section. Seckford Hall is an understandably popular setting for weddings. In the “courtyard” section where we were, there were further chairs and loungers, as well as a hot tub. Our room was quite large, with a bedroom and separate lounge, as well as a large bathroom. There was a kettle and a Nespresso pod machine provided. We also had a little terrace at the side of the room near the car park with a garden table and chairs, though the chairs were rather grubby and could do with a hose down; presumably some cushions for the chairs could be accessed on request. I measured the WiFi at very leisurely 8 Mbps, which is pretty slow but adequate for basic email access and basic browsing of websites. The light switch in the bedroom crackled when it was switched on and the bedroom lights went off from time to time of their own volition, so the wiring in the room was, … not great. The shower was one of those “wet room” ones where there is no walled in shower and the waters just cascades around the bathroom. The shower itself was fine. We had asked when we booked whether the room had air conditioning and we were assured in writing that it had. This was an outright lie. Instead of air conditioning there was a feeble little electric fan on one table in a corner. This is misrepresentation. This has been a summer where the top temperature has been over 30C much of the time and has hit 35C in London. As it happened, our stay was in a lull between heatwaves but that is not the point. It is like a car dealer claiming a feature on a car that they sold you and then discovering that the feature does not exist. Breakfast was very good. There was a buffet for bread and cereal but the cooked food was made to order, which is much better than eggs congealing in a warmer tray. The full English breakfast was nice, with a tasty sausage and a nicely poached egg. Toast was from one of those rotating toasters that was adjusted such that where one iteration of the bread is not quite brown enough but two iterations is hinting at burnt. Overall, Seckford Hall is a very grand building with large rooms and attractive grounds. The room we had was fine except for the lack of air conditioning. By the way, Uber operates perfectly well in this area, contrary to the opinion of the hotel receptionist, who we had asked before trying Uber ourselves, and claimed that it did not.
The stasff
The rooms
Excellent accommodation. Access to the spa was good. Staff very friendly.
What a lovely find for a night away in beautiful Suffolk! We loved the setting, the history of the hotel, the Spa and above all the staff who were all magnificent! We had cream tea on the gorgeous terrace area while awaiting our room. Our room had been refurbished and was very comfortable especially the bed! Delicious evening meal again served on the terrace by fab staff. Breakfast was best we've had in a while super ingredients served piping hot! SPA pool and lounge ares were a great addition too! We definitely will return!
Did not have breakfast or dinner as we were unwell
Having to leave
Beautiful house and rooms
Nothing really
Beautiful and rustic. Our room was sensational!
Avoid staying here during warm weather, as there is no air conditioning. I checked in around 9:00 pm, and my room was still well above 35°C. The room was simply not suitable for an overnight stay, even though the outside temperatures were relatively mild. This is certainly not what I would consider a "luxury" destination.
Location and building lovely
No air conditioning, small room and shower just dribbled out a bit of water. WiFi dead spots in room Expected better considering the price
Very quaint
We did not come for the Spa No air conditioning, small bed (I ended up sleeping on the floor), room was too hot to sleep comfortably, room door security was very flimsy and in my opinion unsafe (I would not want my wife or daughters staying here by themselves), there was some rubbish on the floor. The shower had very little pressure. When we came down to breakfast there were flies on the open buffet food and fruit flies.
Excellent room, excellent staff and excellent food 👌
Beautiful grounds. Great Spa facilities
Extremely Happy & comfortable with our stay at Seckford Hall. We found ALL the staff very friendly & polite, which made it feel a lovely Relaxing place to stay at. Will be back.
This was a party over 3 days arriving on a Friday and departing on Sunday. We were a group of 14 with 8 rooms on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. Our chosen rooms were clean spacious and well fitted out. The 2 feature rooms one with a large balcony were most attractive. Dining was a delight with our individually pre chosen meals delivered correctly and timely . The food was hot tasty and well presented We used the Spa to the full with the pre arranged treatments better than any we have had before. The service provided by the Catering manager and all the staff from the checking in to the bar and dining services was excellent Overall our whole experience was unforgettable and we would not hesitate to highly recommend the Seckford Hall for any occasion or just an overnight stay
Poor value for money for a two night stay. Avoid Courtyard room 37B which is a tiny windowless bedroom apart from one tiny bedroom window. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING in all but a few rooms in the hotel (so don’t stay in summer in a heatwave as you will bake like we did! The hotel does not offer portable aircon units, dog cooling mats or ice pack fans that can cool a room properly. Our dog was panting in the night, and we applied cold flannels to try to cool him down; animal welfare issues spring to mind. The hotel should not have accepted our dog booking knowing how hot the rooms are or explained there is no airflow or aircon so we could have cancelled. We just had old fans blowing the hot air around. It’s a 4* hotel apparently! Uncaring reception manager’s excuse was it’s a listed building. We were offered to move room to another, no aircon, courtyard room with small window but we didn’t think it was worth the hassle. Dog owners unable to stay in the main hotel building bedrooms, or eat in the main restaurant. The spa and pool is run independently from the hotel. Residents (without dogs) can use the spa freely only between 8-10am or 6-8pm. All other times you must prebook. My husband tried to use spa at 10.30am on a Monday morning and was refused entry but it did not look busy. Previous guest clothing found under chest of drawers in our room indicating poor attention to cleanliness. Dreadful water pressure in the shower. Bath chipped and filled badly, carpet stained and filthy. Fridge shoved by the bedroom door. All unconsidered and poor touches. The room next to ours was unoccupied and unbooked on our check in. Was slightly bigger with a bigger window but we were not offered this room when checking in. Management attitudes need to change and treat paying guests with more respect & hospitality offering the better rooms available. GM kindly offered one night complimentary in compensation but we would have preferred they got our stay right first time around.
Enjoyed a beautiful relaxing spa day. Stunning grounds and beautiful venue. The spa facilities are superb inside and outside. The food was delicious and the cocktails were tasty. All staff were attentive and friendly, Clean and tidy, towels replenished constantly. We had the most wonderful day and will return again for an overnight spa break. Gorgeous hidden gem in Suffolk, can not recommend highly enough. 5 Gold stars for everything.. what a treat.
Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely stay and fantastic spa.
Nothing
Some nice staff, Clara and Chloe especially. Thanks for showing us the nicer dog friendly courtyard rooms we could have stayed in. Daniel the new GM did offer us one free night to compensate for our poor stay which is a very kind gesture. We would have preferred they get it right the first time around and offered us the slightly bigger room given the heat and our poor dog suffering.
Poor value for money considering £300 room fees for a two night stay. (Don’t stay in 37B) We had a tiny courtyard bedroom which was windowless except for one tiny bedroom window. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING in most rooms in the hotel (so don’t stay in summer in a heatwave as you will bake like we did! Despite being just a stones throw from the A12 this hotel is delightfully and deceptively hidden away in a gully off a quiet single track road. The hotel is packed full of authentic, rural, rustic charm and ‘olde worlde’ elegance. It is very warm and welcoming. Check-in was friendly, quick and easy. A nice touch being offered good quality complimentary ice creams on our arrival too. The standard signature room we booked was fine. A little on the small side but perfectly functional and equipped. Whilst there is no aircon anywhere in the hotel, a large fan was provided and we were delighted the room also included a good sized fridge. As with many areas in the hotel be careful of the low beams, especially in the door spaces. These are not always signed. The grounds and outside areas are delightful, peaceful and quiet and perfect for an evening stroll. On one such venture we discovered the chicken coop hidden away in one corner of the garden. Whilst there is a lovely lake here it is a shame it is heavily blighted by algae. The highlight of our stay was the quite magnificent pool and outside spa area. Never in our travels have we ever experienced anything quite as impressive as this. Lovely long, deep swim-able pool and relaxing hot tubs, loungers, chairs and for the very brave an ice bath! Whilst we didn’t eat in the restaurant, the bar food was good and we very much enjoyed the breakfast experience. The full English was tasty and the waffles were scrumptious! Special mention to our lovely waiter, Len, who was very friendly and helpful. So if you want a SECKluded, afFORDable HALLowed stay then this is the place to come! We will mostly certainly return very soon!
A beautiful building in a lovely setting. Such attentive and friendly staff.
Location was great. The character of the property was great.
Our room was dusty. The top of the wardrobe which was arched so you could see it had not been cleaned ( room 31) likewise in the bathroom some of the fitments appeared to be paint stained. We were woken in the morning by staff chatting.
Really lovely day at Seckford Hall with a group of girlfriends - beautiful location, fantastic pool and excellent treatments followed by a cream tea in the sun! All the staff were so lovely and helpful which made the day even nicer and so relaxing.
Staff were excellent and interested in us - food was good - especially the breakfast - Room was clean and well stocked with all that was needed We were given a room with a balcony and excellent facilities. The spa was well worth a visit.
The Dinners in the Restaurant were good quality with plenty of choice - but like some other places they kid themselves that good means that you get less on your plate and pay much more for it - a shame as it conveys the wrong message
Excellent setting, lovely food, staff were very good.
No air con in the room
I absolutely fell in love with Seckford Hall. Gorgeous and spacious room overlooking the courtyard, a lovely welcome by all the staff, the dinner was outstanding and the whole team was so friendly and welcoming. The Spa in the barn is also a-mazing!
Nothing
Amazing location and food amazing. Staff friendly and caters for your every need. spa was full so no room on sun loungers.
We were only visiting for the 1 night but what an absolute delight it was. A stunning, and spotlessly clean historic building, in some beautiful grounds. We stayed in the cottage adjoining the spa, and whilst it looked a little tired in places it really was nothing to detract from the decor, space and furnishings which made for a superb, and very quiet place to spend the night. The food is delicious and the alcohol selection is extensive and very reasonably priced. The biggest selling point on the day, and something the management should be very proud of (and hopefully recognise) is what fantastic staff they have. All were so friendly, approachable and entertaining. Nothing seemed a hassle for them, even in the small hours of the morning at the bar.
Lovely hotel. So peaceful and quiet. Except for the birds. Our room (28) was lovely. It even had a patio. The breakfast was good. Kippers were enormous! Staff very helpful. Would thoroughly recommend staying there. Close to Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge and lots of interesting places.
We had a lovely two night stay at Seckford Hall, the staff were brilliant and it was a great place to take the dogs. Being able to get several rooms together in the courtyard was perfect for our large family group. Very good value and will hope to return to experience the spa!
This is a bit late but I have been meaning to review and to say that we had a very enjoyable stay at Seckford Hall in January this year and we liked their refurbishments (especially losing the stags heads in the lounge :-) ). We go there most years at that time to remember my wife's late father’s birthday. We had conversations in advance regarding all our dietary requirements and the team were very helpful to ensure we could be suitably catered for - especially Chanelle Bell, one of the managers. My wife and I stayed 2 nights and had dinner there both evenings and were very well looked after each time. I particularly like a cheeseboard but we are vegetarian so this can often be difficult as not all dairy cheeses are suitable, but the chef/kitchen team arranged it specially and I enjoyed it very much. On the Saturday night we had a family dinner - 7 of us - 3 vegetarians, one of whom is also gluten and lactose free. The restaurant manager was very attentive again and we were very well looked after, and we all enjoyed our meals - especially my niece with all the dietary requirements who said her meal was ‘delicious’. Our thanks to everyone involved for their attention to detail and the special arrangements and also for the bottle of prosecco and the card in our room on arrival - much appreciated :-). We were also pleased to see that the hotel now has electric car charging points, so that was very helpful also."
Beautiful
A bit tired looking
Genuinely from the moment we were greeted, it was superb all the way. The staff went above and beyond to look after us, which we were so grateful as I had slipped a disc several weeks before and was still in some pain. A special shout out to Dan, Conner, Imogen and Leila who were superb staff. The food was 5 star, the beef wellington outstanding and Sunday roast also. Our room was spacious, the bed was really comfortable bed and we had air conditioning. We will 100% return, can’t recommend enough.
Absolutely stunningly beautiful 500 year old house converted into a lovely country hotel with spacious rooms and a great spa in adjoining outbuildings. Very friendly staff-tolerant and welcoming of dogs.
Everything!
Nothing!
Superb warm and friendly staff.
The relaxed atmosphere.
We enjoyed a sensational one night stay, when we attended an ABBA tribute evening. The hotel is beautiful, as are the grounds and the Spa. The greatest asset is the staff, from the moment we arrived and were greeted until we left everyone we came into contact with was professional, helpful, friendly and caring, nothing was too much trouble. This was reflected in the service and the rooms. The quality of the food was excellent. Our room was extremely well appointed, clean and comfortable. The hotel buiding is beautifully furnished and really showcases it's history. The Spa is modern and as with the rooms well appointed. The grounds are extensive and beatifully mainained. We can't wait to return, thank you to all concerned for their hardwork & dedication.
We had a wonderful stay at Seckford Hall - I have never known such a wonderful spa in a hotel. The food was wonderful and the staff kind and helpful. We will definitely be returning.
Beautiful hotel & gardens. Room we stayed in was lovely, comfortable bed. Spa area very nice too with outside loungers, jacuzzi & sauna. Staff were friendly & helpful. Food was excellent.
No air con or ceiling fan in the room. There was an electric fan which we found after the first night stay. This was in the courtroom rooms. No long mirror in the room.
What a wonderful stay ! This was our 2 nd visit and we had a truly marvellous time The team at Seckford hall were all so friendly and helpful

Absolutely nothing
Liked all of it
An absolutely beautiful location. Friendly enthusiastic staff. The spa and garden are just gorgeous. Everything is amazing. You can wander through history and present walks.
The medieval feel
Lack of decent beer at the bar
We had the most wonderful evening and night staying at Seckford Hall. Such a beautiful setting, grand building with elegant garden to sit in for evening meal/drinks, overlooking beautiful lawn and lake and listening to trickling fountain. It would be a perfect setting for a wedding reception. We stayed in a junior suite, with two rooms and a huge walk in bathroom - shower room. Beds were extremely comfortable and our three daughters could share one room whilst my husband and I had the adjoining room. As it was school holiday, the children were able to use the lovely indoor pool in the evening and again in the morning, before a delicious breakfast. The weather was glorious and we had the most amazing stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel with fantastic facilities. The staff were incredible, always there when we needed and the service was impeccable from everyone.
Another fabulous trip, everything was perfect
Seckford Hall Woodbridge Spa I would like to thank all the staff at Seckford Hall Spa for a wonderful day. The treatments I had were specifically adapted to suit my individual needs, from the firmness of the massage to the type of facial which would suit my skin best. I was also lucky enough to have lunch, the menu of choice again was excellent. With the choice of afternoon tea, sandwich, salad, vegetarian options and more. With so much choice I will have to go back again and try something different. Another thing I noticed was how clean everywhere was, inside and out, attention to detail was amazing, from the cleanliness of the bathrooms, saunas, hot tubs, swimming pool and the outside area. The staff were very friendly and professional, and they were there to help you with anything you wanted – nothing seemed to much trouble, it was obvious that the staff really enjoyed their job, as they all had smiles on their faces. Thank you, Seckford Hall Spa, can’t wait until I have the pleasure to see you again.
All staff were amazing and very helpful. The desert souffle was amazing too. Had a few bones in my red mullet though
Pillows too hard and not enough of them. Spa staff need to be about more often to take drinks orders as I had to go inside, dripping wet to get some fizz.
Superbly attentive staff and a wonderfully comfortable yet historic feel.
A little more pressure in the shower would be welcome - difficult to achieve in a property of this size and age.
