The island was beautiful. Loads of green plants, interesting wildlife (lizards, birds, crabs, fruit bats). Scenic beach with a great house reef and many diverse fish, including sharks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Host Shius made us feel welcomed and cared for. Great entertainment. DJ, accoustic duo, rock band and traditional Maldivian dancers.

Everything was amazing, our room and the common areas/island facilities were all perfect. Every meal and drinks were delicious and all of the staff went out of their way to make our stay more than memorable, special thanks to Aswin, Swarn, Nishanathan & Renuka. And thanks to the cleaning staff. And the snorkelling and beaches just stunning. My husband was spoilt and surprised with all the birthday celebrations!

Tours, as expected, we're quite expensive, but enjoyable and worthwhile. We had small group numbers so were lucky.

La isla es naturalmente muy bonita, con mucha vegetación, agua turquesa y un entorno que sí puede considerarse paradisíaco. Vimos fauna marina, incluyendo pequeños tiburones y una tortuga. También hay un pequeño arrecife para hacer snorkel. La limpieza de nuestro bungalow fue muy buena y, salvo que el aire acondicionado enfriaba menos de lo deseable, no tenemos grandes quejas sobre la habitación. Era un bungalow de madera algo antiguo, pero correcto y limpio. El personal, en general, fue amable, aunque en el restaurante buffet algunos trabajadores parecían bastante cansados o quemados. También encontramos empleados muy agradables y sonrientes. La comida estaba rica y había bastante variedad en términos generales. El gimnasio, aunque pequeño y limitado, es un punto positivo. Cuenta con cuatro máquinas para piernas, una para espalda, una multipower, banco para abdominales, pesas y esterillas. Para mantenerse activo durante las vacaciones está bien, aunque para alguien que entrena diariamente puede quedarse corto.

Después de pasar 14 días completos en el resort, nuestra experiencia general ha sido bastante decepcionante. La isla es bonita, pero sentimos que el estado y el mantenimiento de muchas zonas no están a la altura de un resort que se vende como cinco estrellas. Uno de nuestros mayores problemas fue la playa y, especialmente, la entrada al agua. En gran parte —prácticamente toda— la isla, la orilla presenta superficies duras, irregulares y erosionadas bajo el agua, por lo que hay que tener mucho cuidado al entrar. Personalmente, llegué a caerme. Para Maldivas y para un resort de esta categoría, nos pareció bastante decepcionante. Además, hay sacos de arena y estructuras de protección costera muy visibles por prácticamente toda la isla. Entendemos que puedan ser necesarios para proteger la costa, pero afectan bastante a la estética de la playa y a la sensación de estar en un entorno paradisíaco. Nos sorprendió especialmente ver estos sacos incluso junto a la zona de acceso de algunas villas con piscina, que son considerablemente más caras. Antes de viajar habíamos pensado reservar una de ellas al menos una noche, pero después de verlo en persona nos alegramos de no haber pagado el suplemento. También vimos una gran conducción o tubería visible sobre la arena que se dirige hacia el mar. En esa zona percibimos un olor desagradable. No sabemos cuál es su función ni qué transporta, pero fue algo que visualmente y por el olor nos generó bastante incomodidad y dudas. Otro problema importante son los precios de los extras. El alojamiento en sí nos pareció de un precio razonable para dos semanas, pero una vez dentro del resort muchas cosas tienen precios excesivos. Por ejemplo, las bebidas son muy caras: una Coca-Cola ronda los 7 € y llegamos a pagar unos 25 dólares por dos batidos. Las actividades acuáticas también son muy caras. Recomiendo llevar vuestro propio equipo de snorkel.

Our 11-day stay at Royal Island Maldives in August 2026 was nothing short of heavenly and magical. Everything was fantastic, from the breathtaking beach and beautifully maintained tropical surroundings to the outstanding food, warm hospitality, and genuinely wonderful people who looked after us throughout our stay. The island itself is absolutely beautiful — so lush, colourful and wonderfully cared for, with an abundance of magnificent mature coconut palms and tropical jungle. Everywhere we looked felt like a picture of paradise. The beach was simply idyllic, and the whole island had a peaceful, natural beauty that made it incredibly easy to relax and enjoy every moment. A very special thank you to Mark, who looked after us throughout our entire stay. His care, attention and kindness made such a difference and helped make our experience truly memorable. Our sincere thanks also go to Noor, whose care and attention with the housekeeping were fantastic. Everything was always beautifully presented, and his dedication, thoughtfulness and attention to detail were very much appreciated. Pandi, our waiter, was absolutely charming and hospitable. His warm smile, friendly manner and attentive service made every meal a pleasure. We would also like to thank Chef Faiz for his wonderful information and enthusiasm about the food. The variety was outstanding, with such a diverse range of flavours from across the globe. Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared and incredibly tasty. There was always something exciting to discover, and the quality and choice were exceptional. A special mention too for Renuka at the pool, whose friendly and attentive service added to our enjoyment and relaxation. And thank you to the lovely, highly professional team at the Spa. Their warmth, expertise and care made our time there wonderfully relaxing. To all the staff at Royal Island Maldives — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Il Caro Mark Sara felice di leggere le mie impressioni che sono estremamente positive!! Un vero gioiello di natura , tranquillità e ordine. Un servizio organizzativo impeccabile, straordinario! ed efficiente sin dall''arrivo all'aeroporto . Tutto ha funzionato alla perfezione , con precisione e puntualità ! BRAVI !! Idem per il ritorno... Abbiamo incontrato una natura lussureggiante e viva , strutture abitative assolutamente piacevoli e fornite di ogni confort. Una menzione speciale va alla cucina!! Si percepisce una ricerca attenta e scrupolosa nella creazione delle ricette e nell'abbinamento dei sapori, la pasticceria e'' superba . Il tutto naturalmente condito dalla cortesia e,gentilezza di tutto lo Staff che lavora sull'isola. Ovviamente la fauna acquatica non ha deluso e si e' mostrata in tutta la sua magnificenza , in un tripudio di colori e vivacita' . Si sono osservati con facilita' squali di barriera, tartarughe e pesci di ogni forma e colore . FANTASTICO!

Se proprio si deve sottolineare qualche lato meno gradito posso citare la Wi-Fi non sempre impeccabile.... Le escursioni proposte ( in questo periodo, probabilmente) sono un po' poche e forse un po' troppo costose , tendono a scoraggiare una utenza attenta comunque ai costi generali della vacanza

An exceptional stay at Royal Island once again. What makes this resort truly special is not only the beauty of the island, but above all the people who bring it to life every day. A very special thank you to Andy, my Island Host, for his kindness, availability and attention throughout my stay. He kept me informed every day, organised everything with great care and was always there whenever I needed assistance. My sincere thanks also go to the wonderful team at Raabondhi Restaurant. The service was consistently outstanding, the food excellent, and the chefs and restaurant staff made every dinner a genuine pleasure. I would also like to thank the entire team at Maakana Restaurant for their dedication and warm hospitality, with a special mention for Chef Faiz. His presence among the guests, moving from table to table and taking a genuine interest in their experience, was remarkable. After simply mentioning that I would enjoy couscous, he kindly prepared one especially for me — a gesture I will remember with great appreciation. My thanks also go to the excellent and dedicated team at the Booli Bar for their consistently warm service, and to the welcoming reception team for their kindness and assistance throughout my stay. I would also like to recognise all the people working quietly behind the scenes — housekeeping, gardeners and the teams cleaning and maintaining the island from very early in the morning. Seeing staff already at work around 5:30 AM says a great deal about the care that goes into maintaining Royal Island. Every member of staff I encountered, directly or indirectly, contributed to making this stay memorable. Thank you to the entire Royal Island team for your exceptional hospitality.

Isola abbastanza piccola per girare a piedi e con splendida vegetazione oltre a un bellissimo Reef vicino alla spiaggia . Ricchissimo di pesci come una volta . Isola senza overwater per non rovinare i coralli . Isola autenticamente Maldiviana , arredamento coloniale ma molto curato nellamanutenzione e pulizia perfetta ovunque . Staff fantastico ovunque per gentilezza e bravura . Cibo ottima qualità e molto vario . spa insuperabile sia per il luogo che per il livello dei massaggi balinesi . Grazie a tutti e in particolare a Shius che ci ha seguito sempre in modo incredibile e a Reddy a tavola , a Kumala della Spa , e a tutti bravissimi . Complimenti al general manager Afrah. There is a windy side, we were book there initially. The noise from the water hitting the steps was loud. We moved to the non windy side. The fishing trips were a rip off. Did the sunset fishing and the casting both times the guys were disinterested and the rigs were kept set up correctly

Todas las comidas muy variadas, temáticas y ricas. Los camareros muy atentos y amables. En general todo el personal es maravilloso. Mención especial a Andhy, nuestro host. Muy atento y respondiendo siempre a nuestras peticiones. El espectáculo tan maravilloso que es el arrecife de la misma playa del hotel. No hace falta contratar excursiones de buceo o snorkel para ir lejos. Tienes absolutamente de todo frente a tu cabaña: desde peces payaso hasta tiburones.

El precio de todo incluido muy alto, porque al final no se incluye todo, siguen siendo con cargo muchos servicios. Si lo incluyese todo realmente, sí sería interesante. Mejor Pensión Completa. Aunque haya que pagar las bebidas, nunca llegará al precio del todo incluido. que se consideren extras las actividades acuáticas. Entiendo que sea de pago excursiones como las de Hanifaru para ver las mantas (es un espectáculo único y protegido) pero las actividades como windsurf, barco de vela, pádel surf, etc. podrían estar incluidas.

Royal Island is beautiful, but honestly, it was the people who made our stay unforgettable. Tini, our host, was exceptional. From the day we arrived until we left, she was warm, thoughtful and always there whenever we needed anything. She made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The food was one of the highlights of our stay. A big thank you to Head Chef Faiz, Chef Avishek, Chef Santosh at the live counter, and Chef Riju from pastry & bakery. There was always something we looked forward to eating. At the restaurant, Adhurey, Aruzhan, Reddy and Aswin were incredibly welcoming and attentive. After a few days, seeing the same friendly faces at every meal made the resort feel like home. A special mention to Ashad at the Sports Center for making our activities so much fun, Laxman from Housekeeping for taking such good care of our room, and Akhuyar, our photographer, for capturing memories we'll keep forever. The beaches and water at Royal Island are exactly as beautiful as you imagine the Maldives to be. But when we think back on this trip, we'll remember the people just as much as the place. Thank you, Royal Island. We would happily come back. ❤️

English Translation This remains one of the few resorts that has kept the authentic spirit of the old-school Maldives, avoiding over-the-top luxury and, above all, steering clear of useless overwater bungalows. Those structures only overcrowd the island, turning a natural paradise into a dense complex of rooms for people who don't truly understand the beauty of walking on the beach with an unobstructed ocean view. This was my sixth stay here. Up until two years ago, the resort kept improving. Recently, however, a massive influx of new guests from Eastern Europe has doubled the prices while slightly lowering the service quality due to overcrowding. The room boys, restaurant waiters, and reception staff remain excellent. On the other hand, the staff working on the jetties need improvement: I was stopped from walking down the jetty simply because a boat was docked, and they demanded I turn back without a valid reason instead of just letting me pass on the left or right, as has always been done. These rigid rules seem designed to manage crowds of people who can't even swim. As a scuba diving instructor, it's a matter of principle: if someone clearly knows what they are doing in the water, don't hassle them. The same went for the manta ray excursion: seeing the mantas was incredible, but grouping 80 people together—half of whom couldn't swim and had to be dragged around attached to a lifebuoy—ruined the experience for confident swimmers. I hope management addresses these issues and, most importantly, keeps the island a true island—not an excessively luxurious resort where you feel like you're at a 5-star hotel in New York rather than the Maldives.

The island is as beautiful, with breathtaking tropical nature, magnificent trees, pristine white sandy beaches, and crystal-clear waters. It truly feels like paradise and is the perfect place to relax and disconnect. Despite its small size, the island is easy to explore on foot and offers beautiful scenery throughout. Before our arrival The customer support before our trip was fast, efficient, and always available to answer our questions. Accommodation Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean throughout our stay. Staff and service: The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived until our departure. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. A special thank you to our host, Shius, who was always available whenever we needed assistance while remaining discreet and respectful of our privacy—exactly the type of service we appreciate. We would also like to give special recognition to Sandar, Himali, and Pandi for their outstanding service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They were always welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful. As we were travelling with our baby, they consistently went above and beyond to prepare or find suitable food for her. Their kindness and attention to detail made our holiday even more enjoyable. Food: The food was varied, with a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes. Overall experience We travelled with our baby with the sole intention of relaxing, and the resort exceeded our expectations. The combination of stunning natural surroundings, excellent facilities, and outstanding staff made this a truly memorable holiday.

While our overall experience was excellent, there is always room for improvement. - The fish was often overcooked, despite the overall quality of the food. Desserts could also be improved - The transfer to the resort takes quite a long time, although we understand that this is due to the distance and the coordination of domestic flight schedules. - One side of the island is noticeably windier, with rougher sea conditions. Although the island is easy to explore on foot, this may be slightly less convenient for families travelling with babies or young children. - Finally, while we did not book any excursions because our goal was simply to relax with our baby, we felt that the excursion prices were quite expensive. - The hair conditioner provided in the room had a fragrance that was not to our personal taste

Mention spéciale à Andhy Miradi à la réception. - resort bien entretenu, propre et suffisamment grand pour être au calme et préserver l'intimité de chacun. - bungalow avec piscine très confortable et bien équipé, à surpassé mes attentes : un must have. - restauration variée, de qualité et goûteuse. Serveurs efficaces et adorables. - piscine commune et bar agréable. Spa tout confort avec masseuses maîtrisant leur art. Le wifi opérationnel partout. - Diving center sérieux et attaché à la sécurité. Bateaux de bonne qualité. Nombreuses activités marine au watersport center. Je n'ai pas testé de sortie snorkeling organisé par le resort. - ambiance générale propice à la détente, pas mal de familles, beaucoup de russes et de français sur place.

- le sol est très glissant dans le bungalow et autour de la piscine du bungalow. Il faut faire attention. - le snorkeling autour de l'île est plus que correct mais la sortie à hanifaru bay pour voir les raies manta est un peu décevante car il n'y en a pas tant que ça (ça vaut quand même le coup: foncez) - les tarifs pratiqué pour tout ce qui n'est pas inclus dans votre package sont quand même un peu au dessus comparé à d'autres resort de même rang (le restaurant à la carte par exemple)

Fantastic staff and facilities, great value for money

We had an absolutely wonderful 8-day stay at Royal Island Resort! Our time here flew by way too fast, thanks to the dedicated and hardworking team who made every single day special. Our Sunset Villa was fantastic—extremely clean, wonderfully peaceful, and in a truly beautiful location. The entire service staff throughout the resort was extraordinarily friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We would especially like to highlight two exceptional staff members: Mr. Andhy, who took care of us during our stay. He proved to be a wonderfully polite, helpful, kind, and professional representative. He made our stay so effortless by assisting us with organizing our daily activities and excursions, as well as booking our à la carte dinners. Pandi at the main restaurant, whose service was top-notch and made every meal a delightful experience. Everyone at the resort truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible vacation. We warmly and highly recommend staying in a Sunset Villa at Royal Island Resort!

Pobyt w tym resorcie był absolutnie wyjątkowy i przerósł nasze oczekiwania. To prawdziwy raj na ziemi, przepiękne plaże, krystalicznie czysta woda i niesamowita atmosfera sprawiają, że można tu całkowicie się zrelaksować. W wodzie jest obecnych wiele morskich stworzeń. W resorcie dostępne sa różne atrakcje wodne i wycieczki. Na wyspie jest również siłownia, boisko do piłki nożnej i kort do tenisa. Po przyjeździe każdy dostaje swojego opiekuna, który informuje o atrakcjach danego dnia i jest stale dostępny w razie jakichkolwiek pytań. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje obsługa, min. kelner Pandhi, opiekunka Alya, która była niezwykle serdeczna, profesjonalna i zawsze uśmiechnięta. Każdy pracownik dbał o najmniejsze szczegóły, dzięki czemu przez cały pobyt czuliśmy się wyjątkowo i mile widziani. Ich życzliwość oraz zaangażowanie sprawiły, że wakacje były jeszcze bardziej niezapomniane. Z całego serca polecam ten resort każdemu, kto marzy o luksusowym wypoczynku w pięknym otoczeniu i najwyższym poziomie obsługi. Z pewnością jeszcze tu wrócimy!

I have been several times to Maldives, but this one was my favorite so far. Absolutely perfectly organized from transfer, to check-in and checkout, We had a fantastic time, food was amazing, staff was friendly, accommodation was cozy, and the beaches and snorkeling was outstanding.

Yes, transfer is a bit longer with domestic flight and boat going, but we really enjoyed, and took the seaplane back to Male. Also the accommodation is all with wood and a bit older, but it makes it all very cozy. So in the end nothing we didn't like.

I really like this beautiful place and staff is always very friendly and helpful. Food is amazing and prices are quite good.

The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff is truly wonderful—the service was top-notch throughout our entire stay. We also loved the fantastic snorkeling opportunities along the house reef, and the wildlife both on the beach and in the water was highly entertaining.

Coffee quality. Disappointing fishing and dolphin trips with zero results; timing needs improvement. Shockingly high number of mosquitoes and bites; be prepared! :) Constantly screaming children in the restaurant and common areas ruined the peaceful vibe.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived until our departure. The island is beautiful, the beach and ocean are stunning, and the water is crystal clear. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was delicious with a great variety of options every day. A special thank you to Andhy , our Island Host, for his kindness, professionalism, and excellent support throughout our stay. He made our holiday even more enjoyable. We were also truly grateful that the resort made a special exception for us and arranged a seaplane transfer back to Malé. This was a wonderful gesture that we really appreciated and it made our journey much easier. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation in the Maldives. We would definitely love to come back!

- The beach is beautiful, with soft white sand and pristine surrounding waters, although the turquoise lagoon area is not very extensive. - I liked that the beach rooms had direct access to the sand. - The food options are varied, and the quality is generally okay.

Unfortunately, our stay fell short of what we expected from a 5-star Maldivian hotel. - For the first four nights, we did not have warm water in either of our two rooms. Each evening, we had to call for assistance and then wait for the issue to be addressed. This was especially difficult with tired children who needed showers before dinner and bedtime routines. In the end, they had cold showers for four nights, which is simply not acceptable at this level of hotel. - The bathroom products and amenities also did not feel 5-star. In particular, the conditioner had an extremely unpleasant smell, almost like urine. It was so bad that I had to shower again using products I bought at the hotel shop, as no one could come near me after I had used it. I would strongly recommend avoiding the room conditioner unless this is changed. - We were on a full-board plan, but on the day of checkout we were told that lunch was not included. This felt very petty and left a poor final impression. On a remote island where guests have no other dining options, it would be a small but meaningful gesture to allow full-board guests to have their meals until departure. Instead, it felt like an unnecessary hidden extra cost. - Another disappointing point was the dining arrangement. We were assigned the same table every day for meals, which made the experience feel more like a canteen than a relaxed hotel restaurant. Since only one restaurant was included in the full-board plan, this feeling was even stronger. There is an à la carte restaurant, but it is not included. Overall, while the location may be beautiful, these details really affected the quality of our stay and did not match the standard we expected.

Staff stupendo, tutti molto gentili e bravi, in particolare Rajib per la pulizia delle camere e l'attenzione speciale riservata durante i pasti da parte di un cameriere di cui non ricordiamo il nome ma è il più alto in sala e serve i tavoli lato mare. Bravissimo e gentilissimo, ricordava le nostre preferenze e la mattina neanche dovevamo chiedere per colazione, appena ci vedeva ci faceva trovare al tavolo ciò di cui avevamo bisogno.

Ich komme jedes Jahr alleine ins Royal Island Resort Maldives und war inzwischen schon zum siebten Mal hier. Jedes Mal ist es ein bisschen so, als würde ich nach Hause kommen. Für mich stimmt einfach alles: die wunderschöne Insel, die entspannte Atmosphäre, das hervorragende und abwechslungsreiche Essen sowie die herzliche Gastfreundschaft des gesamten Teams. Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt.

In the rainy season the island is full of mosquitoes, they try everything, but still… The transportation from the airport takes too much time, we needed to leave the hotel 7,5 hours prior to flight departure.

hotel personnel is very friendly and guest oriented (but there were some exceptions among restaurant personnel, but the issue was solved after the coversation with hotel manager)

the hotel policy to charge almost for everything (non-alcoholic soft drinks, juices, etc) even with "full package" is very questionable and I have never seen such approach before. this resort is for crowds of tourists, not for individual quests.

Das perfekte Resort für snorkeling. Das Korallenriff der Insel ist sehr vielseitig und größtenteils noch lebendig, man kann sehr viele schöne Fische sehen, insbesondere am südlichen "supply jetty" sowie an der westlichen Seite der Insel. Ich hatte das Glück einmal eine kleine Meerschildkröte sowie einen blacktip Reef shark zu sehen. Man fühlt sich auch ziemlich sicher da die Insel durch Wellenbrecher umgeben ist und die Strömungen nicht zu stark sind. Das Essen ist überraschend gut. Man sieht, dass hier gute Köche am Werk sind und die Mahlzeiten im Buffet gut gelungen sind. Letztes Jahr waren wir beim Villa Nautica Resort, da war das Essensangebot ähnlich aber bei weitem nicht so vielseitig und so gut zubereitet wie hier. Das Personal ist generell sehr sympatisch und zuvorkommend. Den Gästen wird je eine Kontaktperson zugewiesen, die für alle Angelegenheiten zuständig ist. Bei uns war es Alya, die immer hilfsbereit und kompetent war, sie konnte uns schnell bei Kleinigkeiten helfen. Ziemlich cool - die Badmintonhalle stand kostenlos zur Verfügung. Der Pool ist relativ klein aber ausreichend, er hat eine Jacuzzi-Sektion.

Alles war prima. Es gab zwar ein Problem mit unserem Zimmer aber das wurde schnell gelöst - wir bekamen ein anderes.

Очень хорошее обслуживание, все для клиента, все очень вежливо, сразу пришёл личный помощник Andhy, который был всегда на связи и помогал по любым вопросам! Да кстати нам сделали повышения класса виллы, была просто вилла на берегу, а сделали виллу с видом на закат! Большое вас спасибо 🙏🏻 На территории была волейбольная площадка, мы с сыном и другими играли, персонал приносили нам туда отдельные полотенца и воду! Каждый день убирались и обрабатывали от насекомых, поэтому Комаров практически не видели, еда отличный выбор и также когда я спросила про морепродукты они сразу на ужин приготовили и показали где какие блюда, вобщем отношение практически индивидуальное к каждому клиенту! Это очень ценно! Спасибо Andhy нашему помощнику и каждому кто работают в этом отеле! Да , еще сам спа комплекс очень красивый, массаж великолепный и глубокий и расслабляющий одновременно, и ванная с цветами тоже волшебно! Всем рекомендую этот отель, вода чистая, рядом прекрасный риф с рыбами, черепахами, очень насыщенно. На экскурсиях тоже очень заботливый персонал, всегда рядом! Желаю вам процветания!

Немножечко далеко, что пришлось лететь из Мале на внутренних авиалиниях и потом еще на катере 19 мин, это потеря времени и сил, но плюсы это все перекрывают!

The resort offers excellent facilities, many of which are complimentary and easily accessible. Our bungalow was peaceful, quiet, and conveniently located near the water, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing stay. The daily buffet was generous, varied, and consistently satisfying. We especially enjoyed the themed evening dinners, which showcased a wonderful selection of international cuisine each night. The live entertainment provided a calm and relaxing atmosphere that complemented the dining experience perfectly. Combined with the tasteful lighting throughout the resort, it created a truly tranquil environment. The island's vegetation is among the most impressive we have seen in the Maldives. Magnificent fig trees and palm trees are scattered throughout the island, providing beautiful scenery and welcome natural shade from the tropical heat. One of our favourite features was the paved pathway that circles the island. We enjoyed running most mornings, and it was a fantastic way to start the day. The full route, including the longer jetty, is approximately 1.8 kilometres, and finishing with a refreshing swim was the perfect reward after exercise. The gym was exceptionally well equipped, with fresh towels and water provided daily. Its air-conditioned environment made workouts comfortable regardless of the outdoor temperature. The beach was immaculate and only a short walk from our bungalow. We spent time swimming there every day and thoroughly enjoyed the crystal-clear waters and natural beauty of the surroundings. The staff at the resort were outstanding. A special thank you to Noble for taking such excellent care of us throughout our stay. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and professional, which greatly enhanced our overall experience. Housekeeping was also excellent, with the villa serviced daily to a very high standard.

II will try to be fair and honest in my feedback. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we felt that the cost of excursions was quite high. Activities such as snorkelling tours and fishing trips may attract more guests if they were priced more affordably. Greater participation could potentially benefit both guests and the resort. Drinks were also relatively expensive, particularly as prices were charged in US dollars with additional taxes applied. Guests should allow at least half a day for the transfer from Malé to the island. The journey involves a domestic flight followed by a short boat ride, so it is important to factor this travel time into your plans.

Transfer to and from Male was very tedious; quite a lot of tiny biting sand flies - though solved this with liberal application of insect repellent

Royal Island Resort is really beyond our expectations! From the arrival at airport up till the housekeeping - everything was kept on a tiptop hospitality and with so much attention to details! I am amazed at the quality and attentiveness of everyone, it is really impressive. Hugeeeee thanks to the: Host: Mark - he helped us with all bookings and also very kind, we always have him to respond all of our queries and prompt help at all times 🤗 Bar: Made (and every single one on shifts that I did not get the names 🥺 I even had a customised mocktail and they remember it every night I was there) Restaurant: Habib (and also alllll the staff on site) Spa: Rina, Sinta, Feli (and all!!! - it was really the best massage I have ever had!!) Everyone was really amazing and we really appreciate the hard work everyone made to make our stay really effortless, enjoyable, memorable and happy! My huge appreciation to everyone, they really have intentional dedication to the work they do, the smallest things were taken care of. It really exceeded my expectations in every single angle. I would come back here with no hesitation at all. Furthermore, the resort also offers a lot of activities, and would really suit families. Couples can also enjoy, as they do have numerous water activities that you can partake in. Otherwise, the all inclusive premium package also includes unlimited snacks - I really do recommend so you can do activities without being restricted to the meal times, and you also have a huge list of cocktails, mocktails, liquor and finger food! But the buffet meals also change every day so you will not be bored at all :) Thank you so much for making my first resort experience so great 💗

Everything was absolutely perfect, the island, the beach, the sea, the house reef and the underwater world, the fantastic green environment, the service and the fantastic staff. Special thanks to Andhy, who was a super host, and Habib, the kindest and most pollite waiter on the world.

Соотношение цена качество просто идеально, особенно если взять номер по акции за 200 долларов с трёхразовым питанием. Остров зеленый, пляжи красивые, риф живой, персонал отличный, питание хорошее в основном, но без изысков.

Были в конце мая и было много комаров, несмотря на то что их травят каждый день, это немного портило впечатление от отдыха. Питание хорошее, но не отличное. Ужин все супер. А обед и завтрак средний по уровню

Great experience. Special thanks to dive instructor Andrei, me and my daughter got our open water padi certification with him and it was superb experience. Snorkeling with mantas was great too

Отель прекрасный, посетили его второй раз в мае 2026. В аэропорту нас встретили, проводили к терминалу на внутренний перелет. Дорога до отеля организована на отлично! 30 мин на самолете внутренних авиалиний и 10 мин на катере. Погода хорошая, кому не нужна сильная жара и активное солнце, самый идеальный месяц для отдыха. Иногда был дождь, но не долгий. Океан очень теплый. Жили на вилле Сансет бич, отличной пляж, очень много рыбок, два дня напротив 197 виллы плавала большая черепаха. В отеле размеренный и спокойный отдых, без развлекательных программ. В лобби баре можно поиграть в бильярд, настольные игры. Брали полный пансион, это трех разовое питание по системе шведский стол, чай, кофе. Не входит алкоголь и закуски в течении дня. Если, что то захотелось, всегда можно купить. Отель заполнен на половину, выходишь купаться, такое ощущение, что вы одни на острове. Есть спа, его не рекомендую. Цена большая, а массаж ужасный. Персонал очень приветливый! В отеле есть русскоговорящий менеджера Саида. Ей отдельное спасибо! Каждое утро присылала смс с программой отеля на день. В отеле каждый день проводиться йога(утром, днем и вечером). Питание простое, но все есть.

Хотелось более вкусных десертов, в 2019 году они были более разнообразные и вкусные.
