La douche était pas terrible, pas d’eau chaude, porte qui ferme mal. Chambre vraiment bas de gamme pour le prix c’est beaucoup trop cher. Le restaurant est beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité du repas.

Really beautiful place, spectacular gardens and really welcoming atmosphere

The hot tub/sauna/pool facilities felt like they could use some updating. Really wish there was a cold plunge or something similar available as well. Our room was lovely, but again needing some updating. Both bedside lamps on the first floor were not operating properly and needed to be fully unplugged to turn off. Pillows seemed to have seen better days.

Our waiter for dinner was a little inexperienced.

The location was beautiful, and the staff were very helpful, welcoming, and friendly. There are several lovely outdoor areas with wooden seating and chairs next to the river and waterfall, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We stayed in the River Lodge and really enjoyed walking around the property and taking in the scenery. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

The pillows were very squishy and not comfortable at all. The mattress was also quite firm, and I had back pain after just one night’s sleep.

Beautiful outdoor space along the river. Peaceful and tranquil. Outdoor hot tub and pool were relaxing.

Dinner in La Muse was expensive and not alot of choices, but was very good food and service and atmosphere. We were in Eco Lodge, building wasn't 4 star, but the room was clean and comfortable.

Nothing really, but they should explain that the Eco Lodge is an out building when you book. Also E vo Lodge had two flights of stairs to go down and I have torn meniscus in my knee, so that wasn't fun.

Beautiful location, amazing restaurant.

The HVAC unit and fridge in the room was extremely noisy. We were unable to open the window in our room (no screens??) and so had to use the air conditioner to cool down the room from 26 degrees. The cycles are very noisy in such a small room (404). The fridge is also very loud. This resulted in a very poor and expensive sleep! Ear plugs might do the trick.

location was great for us. The beauty of the falls while sitting in the hot tub was amazing.

The bed was not comfortable, room was so small they put the TV on the wall next to the side of the bed. The top floor where we were sleeping was way too hot. There was no elevator to the top floor.

Beautiful area in nature. The sound of the rapids is very soothing. At night they have white lights strung up and a few firepits going and it gives the hotel a very serene feel. The staff was warm and welcoming. The massages we had were the best we ever had also. Our room was nice and the view was lovely.

Beautiful location. Very clean, food was good, service was excellent, bed was very comfortable. All servers were aware it was for my daughter’s birthday so they celebrated with a candle in her dinner dessert and a mimosa at breakfast. It was great. The massage at the spa was awesome.

I didn’t know that the hot tub could be used by all guests so I didn’t bring a bathing suit. I preordered a charcuterie board but it had only 2 small pieces of cheese on it - both hard cheese. Also had nuts on it and my daughter is allergic which I had said in the booking. This stay was for my daughter and me. At $38 I expected bigger slices of cheese as in the photo and fruit to replace the nuts given the stated allergy.

Staff were helpful, and we liked the quiet period, not too many guests.

We booked one of the most expensive rooms in the Eco Lodge building. While the room was very nice (we did stay there before), spacious, the king size bed very comfortable. there was a problem with the heating system. It was so loud that we couldn't sleep properly during the first night. We reported it the following morning and it was fixed, but we shouldn't have had to experience this level of noise discomfort in the first place and lose one night's sleep during a supposedly relaxing getaway. We expected some compensation for this inconvenience, but we didn't get any, not even a free drink. We were also not very happy with the food options at the Le Muse restaurant. It only allowed for the Table d'Hôte option, which is too much food for me. The menu also definitely needs to take into account that there are people at this day and age that don't eat meat. Luckily, we eat fish and there was ONE menu item that we could choose.

Le spa et la rivière sont magnifiques, les chambres très jolies. Je ne suis restée qu'une seule nuit mais un petit village tout à fait charmant qui amène le dépaysement.

A beautiful restored Mill, lovely artwork throughout, attractive public spaces tastefully decorated. Spectacular views of the mill falls from window seating in the Muse dining room. Michelin level gourmet dining, excellent wine list. Located directly to Gatineau Park hiking trails. Our 2nd visit- we will return.

For a conferencing hôtel, we would like to have had access to a BUSINESS CENTRE

Great family getaway location. Staff were friendly and the restaurant food was good.

Stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. Cute room on top floor/attic looking out at the fall colours (facing away from the water, but this was fine). Great dining experience (adventurously opted for the 5-course "discovery" menu), and one of the top 3 best breakfasts of my life the next morning. Highly recommend

Nice to hsve an outdoor terrace.

Spa was poorly lit. Prohibitive fees. 100$ for food (I still haven't gotten back). 250$ damage deposit. Spa staff are unhelpful. In general- bad service staff.

Spacious room, well appointed, very comfortable bed, situated in a separate building from the main hotel. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, our server was attentive, professional and very personable, making it a pleasant environment to enjoy the meal.

We felt that some of the furniture in the room was dated (i.e. the base of the bed was worn and marked), the fireplace in the wall was very poorly fitted - we could see the gyproc around the frame. Also there was very little water pressure in both sinks, making it a long wait for hot water and wringing out a face cloth. For the price we paid for the room, we expected better.

This is an amazing property, not to be missed. A stunning location, beautiful rooms and the breakfast was fantastic. Can’t wait to visit again!

Furniture in room was a bit tired. Bathroom fan did not work and barn door compromised privacy. But……the fireplace and view were great! Staff service was excellent. Grounds were lovely! Would definitely return.

Everything is always good in this hotel, except that the bridge was under repair and took off a little charm and romanticism to the place

We were in the eco lodge section on the property. It was a clean spacious room with its own patio. The pool is beautiful, with lovely landscaping.

The breakfast menu is a bit overpriced. The chef was very accommodating to allergies and picky guests!

Lovely hotel that exceeded our expectations. We stayed at the Eco Lodge and were delighted to find that we had a little patio that we could enjoy and had our coffee out there in the sunshine among the flowers. Very helpful stuff and beautiful artwork throughout the property.

A very unique location and main building. Lovely pool and hot tub by the eco-lodge. Wakefield is a very pretty town with great places to walk. Many interesting sites close by. Best rooms are in the new eco-lodge.

This is in a remote location. In the area for a wedding, but there was no available transportation to and from the venue. It is a beautiful place to stay,.

The property is actually in Gatineau park and has loads of hiking trails just out the front door. It’s very quiet and peaceful and a lovely walk down the road finds you in Wakefield with cafes and restaurants. Jeff, a maintenance guy was super friendly and had great suggestions. Only issue was with the AC unit in our room was leaking water.

The property is in a beautiful small village, ample parking near it, it lays at a dead end so quite and no other traffic then hotel traffic. Close to restaurants and river. Rooms were very nice and beautiful. Well maintained, cleaning staff did thorough job cleaning

Comfortable bed, nice room in Eco-River lodge with patio however it’s not sound proof. You can hear the guests upstairs walking, moving chairs etc; I Was woken up at 2 am by the noise. Reception apologized and suggested next time I take a room upstairs not to be disturbed. But that means no patio. I had to ask twice for face cloths and one of the drawers was broken and they were not able to fix it. Otherwise a good place. Would return. I think they need more patio umbrellas though at the pool as some chairs are in full sun all day long. I was there during the heatwave and additional umbrellas would have been appreciated. I really liked that it’s a short walk to the water where additional restaurants and cafes are located. There are also cute little boutiques, bakeries and a general store. Nice pathway to walk or bike along the water. Love the area.

I couldn’t imagine a better place for a solo getaway much needed! I was able to find my center near the waterfall!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is very nicely looking, the rooms were nice. We had some bugs in the room (bathroom) but this is understandable with the forest right around the corner. The pool & jacuzzi were nice, during our stay they were pretty empty so that was nice. My primary complain would be parking. There is parking near the hotel and I swear that Bull wasn’t guests. So parking under some bushes god knows where wasn’t cool. Otherwise everything else was fine. The TV has channels but stuff like music whatever were glitchy / buffering. Didn’t use WiFi, not sure if there was one as it was never brought up, but we weren’t there for TV or WiFi just sharing experience. The bars in the town are very nice. I would suggest going to places where people are, the nearby coffee place while pricey was super good. Overall we had great time. The rooms where clean other then having to kill bugs but again forest nearby so kind of a given.

We stayed here and had a lot of issues with the wifi and tv. We had a water leak from the fridge in our room and then our fridge started making an ungodly noise the first night we were there keeping us awake. The next evening there was a major storm at which we lost power ( this included any water in the washroom). During this time there were no emergency lights in the hallway or on the property. No one came to our door offering us alternative lighting (flashlight) or any bottled water. We did go to the main building to pick up a very small flashlight and to find out any information. It was extremely disappointing as we had no power from 7pm until we departed at 8am the next morning. We were given no compensation for this inconvenience.

Wonderful staff throughout from checkin to the restaurants. Lovely venue and very beautiful area.
