Dawn is wonderful, truly made us feel at home. The breakfasts were fantastic. Delicious and substantial....we didn't even want to think about lunch until about 2! The deck was wonderful for morning sun and breakfast. We stayed in the one bedroom suite, which was very comfortable. You are in an old house so if there is (another) guest in the 1 bedroom you will likely hear them.

The curtains are charming but not room darkening so I would bring eye shades if you like complete darkness at night.

The host, Dawn, was lovely, and helpful. She made it special, knowing we were celebrating a birthday. The breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect, and the place, warm and comfortable.

Dawn was incredibly hospitable. She recommended a local restaurant and got us a reservation where the food was fantastic. The following morning she made us delicious sandwiches. All that said, we had a lovely stay in Wakefield!

The owner operator was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable and quaint.

Dawn was an amazing an accommodating host for a weekend away with friends. Would come back again, and close to a lot of fun activities.

Quiet Auberge located not so far of downtown Wakefield. The host is so gentle and nice, nice attention and welcoming. The Breakfast menu is awesome, Waffles were so delicious. For music fans, the folk music scene is very exciting and Blacksheep has just reopened!

L’exiguïté des lieux créant un inconfort ( plus de place dans la chambre une fois les bagages mis), la salle de bains sur le palier, et la qualité qui n’est pas au rendez-vous du prix

On nous a trouvé une solution pour garer les vélos en sécurité la nuit. Emplacement tranquille juste un peu en retrait de la rue principale. Belle boite de déjeuner complet selon les choix qu’on avait faits d’avance. Le proprio avait fait une suggestion de resto et avons beaucoup aimé.

L'accueil de Dawn, nous avons eu l'impression d'être accueillie par une amie, la proximité de la rivière gatineau, l'atmosphère de ce beau village de Wakefield, la suite spacieuse pour 4, et le clou de l'hébergement les délicieux breakfasts préparés par Dawn.

One of the best breakfasts we have had at a BNB. Location was walking distance from the river. Dawn was so nice and let us have a bonfire with our extended family at her property. She was always connecting with us to ensure our kids were having fun. One of the best hosts we have ever met.

The house and furniture is a bit old but everything you need is provided and in working condition.

L’accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire, Dawn est une personne à l’écoute et avenante. Elle fait tout pour que nous nous sentions à l’aise dans sa demeure et tout est présent pour que nous soyons autonomes et les déjeuners sont succulents.

La dureté des oreillers et du matelas qui a causé un certain inconfort à dormir et le manque de noirceur pendant la nuit( translucidité des rideaux)

We'd stayed here once before 7 years ago and I couldn't remember the name. We happened to re-book there this year and were so excited when we pulled in the driveway and realized where we were. The host is wonderful, the room was perfect, the breakfast options were amazing. I just cannot say enough good things.

The owner Dawn, makes this property a truly wonderful place to stay. In addition it was a comfortable, relaxed and clean place to stay. The freshly made breakfast sandwiches were a true surprise and delight as well as so very delicious

This was the perfect B&B for a getaway in Wakefield. The room was clean, cozy and had all the necessary amenities such as mini fridge, microwave, keurig coffee machine, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, utensils, glasses, etc. The bed and futon were very comfortable and even the kids slept well. Obviously there is a bit of noise since this is a B&B in a century old house but ear plugs work very well for light sleepers! The B&B in located right in the heart of Wakefield and is walking distance to the main road with all the restaurants and shops. It is also 2 mins drive to Vorlage ski hill. Dawn (the owner) was absolutely lovely and catered to everything we needed. the breakfast was like a gourmet meal and took into account my husband's allergies. We look forward to returning to this place!

Located in the picturesque town of Wakefield within walking distance to restaurants and pubs, cute shops, the riverside walking trails and the covered bridge.

A great, very quiet location a hundred metres from the promenade. Comfortable room, with friendly and helpful host. Really goes out of way to feel welcome with some games outside for kids. Breakfast was superb.

Nothing. Room was clean, a good size for 5 of us and well stocked if we wanted a coffee. Nice little balcony area to sit outside.

Host was wonderful as was breakfast. Shared area and bathroom outside room, having to go through common area was unexpected and we felt uneasy. Room and facility was in need of work and a/c, fridge were noisy.

It was nice. Facilities were complete and the bed comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good. Communication throughout was excellent.

The air-con in the bedroom blew directly over the bed and was a little intrusive

We had an amazing 1 night stay. Our hostess was amazing with her dedication to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Her communication with us before, during and after the stay was incredible. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our morning breakfast included everything to make it a healthy meal. We definatel recommend this property.

The fantastic breakfasts were varied and delicious. We had a lovely, friendly host who was available for every question. we were fairly close to our family home and the town provided us with groceries, and baked goods. A perfect spot. Clean and the beds were comfortable.

The host was amazing. She met me in the parking lot even before my check-in time since I was parking there earlier in the morning. She was incredibly friendly and helpful with pointers on where to go and what to do. Room is cozy and quaint. I would highly recommend staying here.

Dawn was a wonderful host welcoming us and accommodating an early checkin to get us to a wedding on time. The breakfasts were excellent, pre-ordered from a varied menu making use of tasty local products. The location in Wakefield was perfect for access to the Saturday market, walks along the river paths and close to the best restaurants.

The weather-- it rained off and on all day. We were hoping to spend the day enjoying the park, so we had to settle for the interesting sights around the lovely town of Wakefield. We can't blame Dawn for the weather, though.

Rooms are well decorated and so clean...Bbcue tiki bar open fire pit etc...Again the Owner Dawn is addictive attractive and delightful, Her knowledge, sense of humour and dedication is second to none ...Breathless and well situated B&B close to all tourist attraction and resto bars...

The breakfast was superior to most bfast included in quality, variety of options and room service was a nice bonus so we didn't have to be fully ready before eating.

Google maps sent us only to the end of the road for strange reason (out of your hands). We managed with the address afterwards so all is good. No complaints.

The owner of this B&B Dawn, was so incredibly lovely and accommodating to my boyfriend and I when we stayed here after a wedding. She provided dairy free options for my boyfriend and even gave us a free room upgrade! She always made her self available to contract in case we had any questions or concerns (we didn't), and I feel she did everything she could to make our stay exceptional, which it was! Would most definitely recommend this B&B to stay in if you are in the area or are looking for a quiet place to stay while you tour the beautiful countryside of Wakefield. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend here, but will definitely be coming back. Also the breakfast options for highly impressive and both my boyfriend and I enjoyed both our breakfasts and our stay!
