Un séjour fabuleux au JW Marriott d'Ankara ! Nous y avons passé 3 nuits en famille dans le cadre d'un voyage en Turquie. Le standing y est supérieur à d'autres établissements de la chaîne. L'hôtel en lui-même est impressionnant, probablement le meilleur de toute la ville. Les chambres sont spacieuses et le ménage est d'une minutie exemplaire. Le spa est haut de gamme, et la piscine extérieure constitue un vrai plus très appréciable (les autres grands hôtels de la ville n'en possèdent pas). Le petit déjeuner est à couper le souffle. Le service fut exceptionnel : personnel adorable, aux petits soins et se souvient vraiment de vous. Un grand merci également à l'équipe pour leurs recommandations de restaurants en ville : Göksu Restoran et Yelken Balık, simplement délicieux.

Mariott is a warranty, not like other 5 stars hotels that are 5 stars just in the name. Here you feel like a king, they do everything to let you feel good, protected , in a luxury environment, at ease. Impeccable.

We have our things stolen from room. Ring and money.later they found ring claiming it was in vacuum, but ring was always in box. As for money we never got back 100 euros although we reported several time. Horrible attitude and absence of trust.

Un des meilleurs hôtels ou j'ai passé un nuit. Tout était excellent la sécurité pour rentré face a l'ambassade américaine. Le parking la réception la chambre le restaurant le petit déjeuner, le personnel souriant aimable, clair dans ses explications en français parfois et un membre du personnel qui nous porte les bagages jusqu'à la voiture. Vraiment un hôtel incroyable avec une vue exceptionnelle du 16ème étage sur 23 sans oublier un piscine extérieur des transat comme des lits. En résumé 10 sur 10 sur tout l'hôtel

I spent 9 nights at JW Marriott Ankara and, unfortunately, my experience was far below what I expected from a five-star hotel. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, but these are among the few positive aspects. The service does not justify the price. At breakfast, despite having many staff members, the organization is poor. Tables are not properly prepared, the staff appears uncoordinated, and even simple made-to-order dishes such as fried eggs are not consistently prepared well. The bathroom amenities are limited and, in my opinion, of surprisingly modest quality for a hotel in this category. On three different evenings, the hotel hosted outdoor parties that continued until almost midnight. The music was so loud that the windows in my room on the 8th floor were vibrating. I called the front desk, and the only solution offered was to move me to another room. I did not consider that an acceptable solution. I had booked and paid for a specific room category, and it was the hotel’s responsibility to ensure a quiet environment for its guests, not to ask me to move because of events organized by the hotel itself. The most unpleasant experience happened on my last morning at breakfast. There were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant. I left my handbag and phone on my table and went to get my food. When I returned, another guest was sitting at my table and insisted that it was his, even though my personal belongings were clearly there. I protested and raised my voice, but he refused to leave the table. I was forced to find another seat, even though the table had clearly been occupied by me. What shocked me the most was that not a single hotel employee intervened, attempted to resolve the situation, or did anything to support a guest in such an obvious conflict.

From the warm welcome by Assistant General Manager Cem Altınay to the outstanding service throughout our stay, everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was exceptional, the Executive Lounge was one of the best I’ve experienced, and the spa and pool were spotless with a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s central location also made it easy to walk to many excellent restaurants and attractions.

The restaurant section was amazing as usual and the housekeeping, especially Zehra, was very good. But our room not matching the description at booking.com and that Baran character really left a sour taste in our mouths. I am not sure if we will stay the fourth time. It is a good hotel, but when you factor in how much you pay for a supposedly 5 star hotel, the service you get is definitely subpar.

I have booked an executive suite, like I did for two previous times. In the description at booking.com it was said that it had a separate living room and an additional bathroom/toilet. Prior to my last stay, in both reservations I ended up staying at 1824, which fit the description. However, this time they have given us room 811. There was no door in the bedroom, and the living room (even though it was big) was basically the same room (it should be listed as junior suite regardless of the size). Our son was sleeping there, and we had to go to bed at the same time as him, trying to be silent at night and in the mornings not to wake him up. Plus, there was no additional bathroom. We felt like we were cheated. By the way, when we arrived, they said their systems were down, and they took us to our room with a bellboy and didn't give us keys. The internet in our room didn't work because they said they couldn't check us in from the system. We asked them to prepare a rollaway bed in advance, but they forgot that. They also forgot to give water bottles for the night. Sorting out the rollaway bed, the keys, water bottles, etc., it took us until 03:30 to go to bed that night. Unfortunately, because the room's curtains don't fully close, we ended up waking up at 6:00 because our room was fully bright. Also, the AC directly blows onto the bed; it is a very uncomfortable room. Next morning, when I mentioned the situation at the reception, to my surprise, they were quite discourteous. Especially the reception manager Baran was a very incapable, condescending, patronising, rude character (who definitely didn't match the professionalism of JW Marriott in many ways). He started intimidating me and kept on insisting that there was no mistake. At one point, (I was always very polite) he started talking with the "singular you," which is a very rude way of responding to someone in professional environments in Turkey.

The facilities are exceptional. Outdoor pool.

Stayed here for two nights. Lovely hotel and spacious, well appointed room. Everything worked, the few issues o had: 1- the water is extremely “soft” to the point that soap would not wash off 2- I was on the 6th floor and there was a dance party out on the ground floor patio playing loud music until 12am. The front desk was very kind and offered to move me, but I didn’t have the energy. 3- the spa seemed nice, but the prices were a bit high, even by U.S. standards I would stay here again.

Location and Arrival The JW Marriott Ankara is strategically located in the modern Söğütözü neighborhood within the business-oriented Çankaya district. A mall is nearby (about a 10 minute walk), and dining options and the metro are also close. Esenboğa International Airport (ESB) is roughly a 35–45 minute drive via the highway. There is free parking beneath the hotel. On arrival, the front desk team was welcoming and professional, and check in was handled efficiently. The lobby is spacious and luxurious, with high ceilings, polished marble floors, and large decorative red vases. The grand space is well-lit with modern chandeliers and features functional areas like a bar, a seating lounge, and a shopping arcade. The Room We stayed in an Executive Room on the 9th floor. This room blends classic comfort with an excellent, work-friendly layout. The main space features a large king bed with an upholstered headboard, a separate sitting area with two comfortable armchairs, and a curved wooden executive desk paired with an ergonomic leather chair. A well-stocked refreshment station near the wood-floored entryway provides a coffee machine, bottled water, snacks, and glassware. A minibar, safe, slippers, wardrobe, etc. are also available. Everything you would expect from a five-star hotel. Large windows bring in ample natural light, making the patterned carpeted space feel open, warm, and highly functional for business or leisure. Bathroom and Aesthetics The en-suite bathroom exudes modern luxury with its striking contrast of black granite and warm gold tones. It features a spacious layout with a separate deep soaking bathtub and a glass-enclosed walk-in rain shower, alongside a private toilet stall. The single vanity has a sleek black granite countertop, a large framed mirror, elegant sconce lighting, and a dedicated magnifying makeup mirror. Plentiful plush white towels, premium toiletries, and warm patterned wallpaper complete this upscale, highly functional space. Breakfast: The breakfast experience stands out with an impressive and professionally organized buffet selection. Dishes are attractively presented in premium chafing stations under heat lamps to ensure optimal freshness. The open-kitchen concept and the wide variety of hot and cold options demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality culinary service. Conclusion This executive stay seamlessly bridges functional business utility with upscale comfort. The property excels in offering detailed room amenities, excellent workstation configurations, and a comprehensive, premium breakfast experience. It provides a reliable and polished environment that thoroughly justifies its luxury classification for both corporate and leisure travelers.

This was a very good experience. Not just is this property a top 2 property in Ankara (and now I think its the best one), it is also a very important place to stay if you are in town for business. Its a power spot. Rooms are excellent, service & location & amenities are excellent, and breakfast is wonderful. Highly reccomended!

Everything was perfect. All the personal was extremely kind and knowledgeable, ready to help right away, Breakfast was fantastic good , room was clean ,quiet and large,.... The best people working in this hotel, from the concierge (Mert) who help me everyday with everything, the two girls working at the 22th floor who give me the best advise about the food to the people working in front of the hotel always ready to order a cab for me and of course the people at the front desk who were very nice and polite. Congratulation to all of you...it was a pleasure spending 5 days in this hotel. Probably the best JW Marriot I visit . Recommended 100% I promise I will return . Sincerely Gabriel Vasile
