Great hotel and staff.

If you stay at the hotel, you have to go outside and walk around the building to go to the bar and it is not safe, guests should be able to go through the hotel as before. No restaurant except for breakfast, poor management.

Rear stairs feel like theycare going to fall down. Wasnt allowed a room on the first floor. Had tobuse twisted stairs tovget to the second floor

Hotel denied providing receipt when requested. I was told since i booked it through hotels.com and even though i paid at the property, i cant get receipt. After forcing them for few mins, they provided one. Shady business practice.

Was a very good hotel if you just need a nights sleep from a long drive. Fireplace was very nice!

As expected, the room was clean and properly appointed for a couple to stay in. The check in was professional, courteous, and friendly.

Manager Patrick is very unprofessional and didn't return my daily calls for 6 days and left it to the front desk to relay messages. He refused to refund me for one night through Third party booking with Hotels.com. Hotels.com reached out to him not once but twice and Patrick denied refund. Hotels.com asked me to call and explain that I indeed cancelled within the 24 hour cancellation period and why I had to cancel. Patrick wouldn't return my calls. I tried one more time through email that front desk provided and still no response. The poorest Customer Service I have ever received. Thumbs down and will not be staying at Days Inn

I paid 200 per night. Tv wasn’t working, phone not working and everything I ask like cord for the car…. Not available. I believe 200 is not worth it

Couldn't really comment on the outside cleanliness as there is fresh snow covering the ground. But snow removal done for sidewalks, entry etc which look really nice.

I was staying at this hotel for a multi-day work trip. I've never felt more unsafe at a hotel than at the Days Inn in High Level. For two days maintenance was supposed to come look at my fridge, which had frozen solid all the fresh veggies I purchased for lunches. I was satisfied that the Manager (female) would phone me on my hotel phone between 5-5:30pm to discuss grocery vouchers to compensate for the food that was wasted in the fridge. I worked late and did not get back to my room until 6 pm. I arrived at my private hotel room to find TWO STRANGE MEN in my bathroom! Apparently, the female manager phoned my room between 5-5:30 pm- and since I didn't answer the phone she sent TWO STRANGE MEN to a WOMAN'S HOTEL ROOM AT NIGHT to work on my shower (which did not have any issues when I left). I was afraid and then absolutely livid that the manager would violate my right to privacy IN MY ROOM during personal hours and MAKE ME FEEL UNSAFE in a room that I had purchased for my personal use. Neither of those men had consent to be in my room, I was never notified that there would be strangers in my room and I never received an apology for coming home to TWO STRANGE MEN IN MY HOTEL ROOM! In addition to feeling unsafe and disrespected: my room smelled like stale cigarettes when I arrived, the toilet required multiple flushes with poo regularly floating back up to the bowl, the fridge froze all my produce, the kitchen ovens were malfunctioning so hot continental breakfast was not always available, and the same tables were sticky for days. I will never return to this wastehole. Stay somewhere else!

Room 117 Great place for an overnight stay. Check in was perfect. Justine made us feel warm and welcomed. Then made a curtisy call to make sure our room was all good. Check out with Rahmon was the same. Everyone was very welcoming. Room was spotless and well stocked with quality products. Bed comfy. Sheets and towels clean and soft. I recommend!

I reserved a jacuzzi room and it was so loud while running it was uneasy to have it on but worse was whatever caused the brown scum released into the water while we were bathing in it. Very gross.

The manager used his power to kick me out, just cause he didnt like me, I sensed it from the get go. He does not know me. I am a good person but people can be judgemental. I simply asked to exchanged the ripped money that he gave me for a new one, so that I could continue playing his slot machines. He got mad and said he could not except it. I had no other money, how could it be mine. The only money I had was the ones he gave me from my winnings. What happened to customers always right. I wish people would not judge other people without really knowing them. I like like playing at the bar, but he told me I was not Welcome back, just cause of a simple transaction. I hope he knows that he is wrong and I hope to come back to a better experience.

Staff went above & beyond to check me in after midnight & I appreciated that especially after a long drive, with 3 girls!.

Approx. $165USD per night for two queen beds. The price seemed high and was due to demand. Most hotels in High End were either sold out or close to it. Exterior and hallways were not impressive: worn carpets and paint. The room was surprisingly modern and very clean. The included breakfast bar was clean and well-stocked: hot scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, boiled eggs, waffle station, variety of cold cereal and breads for toasting. *There is NO elevator in this two-level property.

Carrying luggage up the stairs is not great, the room was disgusting. Jet tub filthy!!!

The staff were very helpful when we had issue with the shower no hot water but was quickly looked after, the only think I find is that when paying for room with credit card thru Expedia we had to pay $400 cash damage deposit this time around as the previous times I paid with credit card I had paid $250 cash maybe I didn’t understand the deposit situation very well but I thought that was high for damage other then that I enjoy my stay

Pet friendly room had laminate flooring and not carpet which was great !

Horrible hotel and Hotels.com won't let you tell why it is. They submit fraudulent credit card charges and I am not allowed to explain them in these comments. I will never use either of these companies ever again.

Great place

We stayed one night on our way south to Edmonton. Staff was friendly and our check in was easy and efficient. It is not a new property but our room was clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

I paid for a jacuzzi room and they gave it to soneone else. We stayed in a basic queen bed room. They were also very rude. I will never stay there again.

Biggest issue was even when paying with a major cc they still insisted on a $250 deposit and no one around at checkout early in the morning. Rang bell on desk for about 5 minutes and no one came so I had to leave

Hotel was nice. Good breakfast. Stsff member was pleasant but the entire hotel was sickeningly hot from the hallways to the room. Had to crack open a window in the middle of winter to cool it off.

Room was recently renovated. Very nice. Very friendly staff

No elevator to 2nd floor and the stairs are steep... we normally get a room on the 1st floor as my truck will be in front of the door.

Always a good stay, was quiet and spacious. We normally stay here when either going for a shopping trip or passing through, heading North. We have never had any problems when staying at this hotel. We lucked out to get one of the last rooms.

Decent value. Room on lower level was a bit noisy with noise coming from room above. East access from/to highway.

The property was conveniently located.

Disgustingly dirty, rooms damaged and A/C not working. Paid highest rate of a 10 day 2000 mile trip for a dumpy, dirty room with broken A/C. Hell would have to freeze over to stay there again

Super friendly, helpful front desk staff. Hallway seemed dated with weird couple of deep stairs. Room was pleasant surprised. Bathroom was updates, as was the room. We didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on that.

The room was really nice except the toilet we had, had a tough time flushing. We ate supper in the resaurant in the lobby. The food was good and really reasonably priced. Just a couple turnoffs about the restaurant though. 1. We asked for water expecting free tap water like any normal restaurant would do, but they automatically just brought us bottled water that we had to pay $2.50/ea for. Yes I know, I'm a little cheap, but I don't need to have pop so why not get water that's free? 2. Their oven was broken so I couldn't order anything baked. I understand that things like this happen, but the whole place kind of gave me vibes that they were too cheap to fix it.

The toilets were terrible I changed rooms but the second one was no better there was a Lange exhaust fan serving the kitchen that was outside my window and it ran all night

Had a wonderful experience staying in High Level. Staff were great. Very attentive. Spotless suite and excellent food. Will definitely be back. My dog was happy and we slept through the night soundly.

travelling for work, staff (front desk and Sam and Delores in restaurant) did a very nice job of taking care of me, seeing my needs were met. Only concern was on weekends it got loud, which ear plugs took care of.

Twice at Days Inn. First first and last time at same time. Never ever staying at Days Inn again. Spend 120 $ for sleeping only. But had no other choice. All other Hotels fully booked. Drove 700 km already and have to do another 300 km for next Motel.

It was ok. Just a stop and go. Breakfast was meh, not replenished or garbage taken out. No juice left by 8:30. Bagel too hard and stale to eat, we left and went to Starbucks. Place old and doors don’t reach the floor so hallway noise. Floors incredibly crooked and big ledge in floor by bathroom. Hallway stunk of old stale dingy carpet. Room only had hot or hotter water. Had to wash hands quickly because even on straight cold it just got hotter. Couldn’t risk a shower because we were afraid of getting scorched.

If you are looking for a clean, friendly and affordable full service hotel in High Level, AB, try the Days Inn. You may be surprised. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel is clean throughout and has a fresh look.

We moved hotels, night of the stay, to come here. We were left with no options at a similar hotel in town (other was not cleaned and had no alternative). The desk clerk late in the evening was able to set my family (with kids) up in the same room configuration, and at $20 less/night. The continental breakfast was good for what it is, no complaints, and we were out the door and on the road by 7am.

The service was friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable but overall the room wasn't very clean. I wouldnt stay here again.

I understand that at the time availability was at a premium due to flooding in the area. Still absolutely no need for very poor overall cleanliness and repairs. Only room left was on second floor, okay fine but having to walk up filthy stairs obviously never cleaned or trash removed. Cigarette butts, packages empty and cans. Bathroom smells and hot water resembles weak tea. Toilet flushed poorly. Bathtub barely drained. Carpets stained all over. Things that there is no need for and completely easily rectified. Assuming that it’s all due to very poor management.

We were evacuated from our home due to flooding and spent 6 weeks here. The staff treated us very well. Everyone is professional and polite. Sam deserves special recognition for his efforts. He is great with the customers and has a very calm and pleasant demeanour. Thank you! P.s. This hotel is dog friendly, and our pups enjoyed the stay just as much as we did!

Pretty decent, wish there was a little more selection at the breakfast bar, but can’t beat the price. Comfortable rooms, love the access from parking area. AC worked great. The bed is a little squeaky when rolling over or crawling in or out. But I still slept great.

The room was nice with a huge bed and nicely set up. I did not like the smell of the room It smelt like a very old place. Other than that we slept well.

Upon arrival the room was very cold and the only way to heat it up was to use the fire place and when it cut out the room was very chilly. There was a leaky pipe in the wall and I was unable to sleep at all and I had to ask for a room change.
