Временами возникающий ужасный запах канализации в сан. узле. Нет определенности с началом завтрака (на ресепшен сказали с 6.00, в ресторане с 7.00). А нам, приехавшим с разницей во времени -4 часа, этот вопрос был принципиальным...

I had a great stay at the Lugal Hotel in Ankara and would highly recommend it. What really stood out was the exceptional staff across the board. From the front office team to the porters and housekeeping, everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their service made the experience feel seamless and very comfortable throughout my stay. The breakfast was also amazing—an excellent variety and quality that made for a perfect start to each day. The hotel itself is well-maintained and offers a refined, quiet atmosphere—ideal for both business and leisure travel.

One minor point for improvement would be clearer signage to the Health Club (including the spa, gym and swimming pool), which was not immediately easy to find.

Временами ужасная вонь из ванной комнаты заполоняло всю комнату и плюс к этому еще и не работала вытяжка в ванной. Очень слабый напор воды в душе оставлял желать лучшего…

Lugal Hotel is the only place where I consistently feel safe, comfortable, and truly at peace. Thanks to all your staff, I genuinely feel as if I’m in my own home. This time, after my three surgeries, I chose to stay with you again to rest and recover. I sincerely appreciated the housekeeping team’s attention to cleanliness, Ms. Sinem’s kind assistance during breakfast and dinner, and the constant care shown by the rest of the staff in checking whether I needed anything. I would also like to thank Mr. Mehmet at the entrance for helping with my luggage and always asking if I need anything whenever I depart, as well as the lady in security for her warm smile. The only thing that fell short of my expectations was the honeycomb at breakfast; everything else was perfect. Thank you for everything — I look forward to seeing you again very soon.

Just the location

The staff are very unprofessional specially the staff in the reception are very very rude . I need to call them 20 times to bring us water bottles, they trying to make every thing to charge you a little bit more money, you feel that you are in a hostel and not in 5 star hotels “ i have been almost in all 5 star hotels in ankara” and i never had seen 5 star hotel like this , really shameful .

Ankara’da merkezi bir konumda olan Lugal A Collection otelin odalarının genişliği ve konforu mükemmeldi. Ama beni en çok mutlu eden personelin kalitesi, güleryüzü ev samimiyetiydi. Hepsi birbirinden değerli tüm personele öncelikle teşekkür ederim. Kahvaltı salonu tadilatta olmasına rağmen 2 günlük konuklamada 1. gün hemen yanında yer alan Sheratonda ki kahvaltıyı beğenmedim. Buna rağmen 2. gün sabahı odaya istediğimiz ürünlerle donatılmış kahvaltıyı yollayınca tüm olumsuz duygularım değişti.

Hospitality is amzing , great staff and team

Bu kaçıncı konaklamamiz bilmiyorum ama çok uzun süredir Ankara'da otel konaklaması gerektiğinde başka bir oteli tercih etmiyoruz. Executive suitler ev tadında. Personel inanılmaz yardımcı ve misafirperver. Odalar gayet temiz oda manzaraları gayet iyi.

This is probably the best hotel in Ankara, facilities such as the possibility of choosing breakfast in two hotels (in the same complex there is also Sheraton), a large swimming pool and spa complex, as well as a huge fitness center make me say with confidence --> it is really worth spending more time here

It’s called a luxury collection, but the quality is poor. Rooms furniture, bathroom is low class to average. Comparing other hotels that I stayed in the world. Minibar and bathroom is very poor quality. Like a cheap motel.

I have dealt with Yağmur at reception for my check in and she was just wonderful to deal with. She has gone above and beyond to make the experience very easy and pleasant and also offered so many extras. It was wonderful to deal with her.

The staff at the Lugal is what makes this hotel extra special. They really make me feel at home. As a business man there is nothing better that being greeted by Ali or get assistance with a big smile by Yagmur at the reception. That is one of the reasons I keep going back to the Lugal...

My stay at Lugal Hotel in Ankara was wonderful! The staff truly made the experience stand out. Sinem made check-in a breeze, and Aysima ensured my checkout was efficient and friendly. A special mention to Bura, who went above and beyond in guiding me on where to go and what to see in the city. The hotel itself was luxurious and comfortable, with excellent service throughout. I highly recommend staying here for a great experience in Ankara.

We stayed for three nights and from the moment we entred to the moment we left, we had a wonderful time. The staff is welcoming and attentive non stop, friendly and serviceminded. At Lugal you are treated both like a family member and a Royal. Our first visit was nearly ten years ago and we would never consider another hotel in Ankara. Even if the hotel itself and the rooms are beautiful, it is the staff making it worth coming back!

Room size. Very polite personnel. Location awesome. Responsiveness. Lobby of Sheraton is outstanding, interior is excellent.

There was no official notice that the pool is not available. Not on this platform at least. That is very disappointing and deceive, especially if the pool is priority factor for choosing these two hotels. Room was not clean. There was hair everywhere on floor. All surfaces were just smudged. Bad was very cleaned although.

I had actually booked in Sheraton Ankara and as they had constructions going on , they had upgraded us to the attached hotel , Lugal . And truly what a wonderful hotel ! I would give them 6 stars if I could . Extremely clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff either at reception or other parts . Food quality was excellent and service was good . Location is excellent and the view of wonderful set of houses with old architecture, took me to old good memories of my childhood home , so relaxing and delightful. Though it is near city centre, it is very quiet and calm area and you can keep the windows open without any extra noise . I always connected happy holidays with the sea view, but this stay in Ankara , changed my mind . I hope I shall visit the beautiful, clean Ankara again and stay in this hotel again . It was a dreadful experience... The bathroom and the linen were both unclean. Sleeping in a dirty bed is incredibly unpleasant! Following that, there's no longer any confidence in the cleanliness of the food served. The staff is friendly and kind; however, I definitely do not recommend going here.

I switched from the Sheraton next door to this real luxury hotel for a few bucks more. Worth it! As a Lifetime Titanium Elite member, I was delighted to be upgraded to an executive suite. The hotel is connected to the Sheraton. The only hitch is that one no longer gets access to the Sheraton Club Lounge. My whining about it resulted in getting a carafe of white liquid being sent to my room. Awesome! The staff is very professional and pleasant. Started with the front desk lady Icyma (sp?) and continued with the concierge, butler, breakfast staff etc. The complimentary valet parking was a big plus. Recommendation: exceptional.

We liked to much your staff attitude and the cleanness of the hotel, the room was so comfortable and quite and friendly ambient. The reception staff so professional and during our stay we are thankful for their help; especially Aysima was very helpful and quick responder to our request. All were very kind and we would like definitely to be there again.

Lovely hotel with good breakfast options. Well located to check out the area but not close to central Ankara - we took a taxi to the Citadel and Museum. Sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room fabulous. Room was great. Staff very helpful.

My recent hotel experiences in Ankara all proved to be very negative despite all being famous hotels. Therefore, I had doubts about Lugal as well when my assistant recommended this hotel for my business trip. But though I stayed only 1 night, my experience was perfect. I stayed in a spacious and very comfortable room where all amenities I might need were available. The check-in process, not in a conventional reception area though, was very swift too. This hotel made me feel special from the moment I entered it though they had not offered anything different than the rest but the overall feeling was very satisfactory. Lugal will be the hotel I will choose every time I go to Ankara as long as they preserve this level of service.

The Lugal is a high end property with a luxurious boutique feeling that I truly appreciated, It is not the first time I stay there and I now feel home each time i stay at the Lugal.

Always a fantastic place to stay with a relaxed and calm atmosphere. All the staff are great and offer help without any hesitation.

Once again, the Lugal staff has exceeded my expectations. Upon my arrival the night manager ensured a rapid and professional checkin. She also organised my dry cleaning pickup, and luggage delivery to my room. She was also able to organise my club lounge access to the Sheraton. Altogether, outstanding! When it comes to the room, it is large, clean and comfortable.

I have been to this hotel many times before, actually it’s the hotel of my choice in Anakara for every visit wether it’s business or pleasure. The property is well located and very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I specifically wanted to mention the concierge Ms.Yağmur she’s my favourite so far! She’s professional, friendly and very helpful. I have dealt with other concierges however she always makes my check- in and stays very enjoyable.

We had an amazing experience at Lugal, a Luxury Collection Hotel. The customer service was outstanding. They were very helpful in obtaining our luggage that was lost by the airline. The staff also made every effort to make sure our other needs were met. For example when we first arrived I had told Aysima that I was suffering from jet lag. She had the hotel bar make me a drink that was known to help with that. It was delicious. Also she had the hotel provide breakfast to go for our family when we had a very early morning flight to catch. The hotel staff provided a very large platter of fruit in the room the night before our flight. All of the staff was super helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome. They always seemed to be smiling. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the bathtub was wonderful. We really enjoyed the variety of coffee and tea provided in the rooms.Our whole family was very impressed with this hotel and with the people. We would definitely like to stay there again in the near future.

I stayed at the Lugal in July 2023 with my husband and 15-month old daughter and we had an excellent experience. We stayed in a King Deluxe room which was a large size for a standard hotel room and had plenty of space even with a baby crib. The baby crib provided by the hotel was a little smaller than a pack-and-play but was still plenty of space for our daughter to sleep in. The room had a nice, unobstructed view of Ankara and we saw great sunsets every night. The room had a desk, chair with ottoman, TV, king sized bed, plenty of closet space, and minibar area with fridge, nespresso machine and hot water kettle. Four bottles of water were provided for free every day. The bathroom had a separate tub and shower and plenty of counter space. Breakfast was great. You had the option of the a la carte Lugal breakfast or going to the Shearton buffet. The Lugal was slightly higher quality but the Sheraton has more options. Both restaurants had high chairs available for our daughter and the staff was so friendly and welcoming to her. Sinem at the Lugal breakfast was particularly helpful! We also used the hotel to book an airport transfer to ESB which was easy to do and a comfortable ride. Location of the hotel is great and very central. They also offer free parking in the garage underneath the hotel if you have your own car. Overall we had a great experience - I would highly recommend it.
