Very neat

Bed was comfortable with good quality linen.

The room was quite small, the towels were very small.

People very loud at 23:45.

Staff

Was checked into the wrong room. Had to move. Aircon switch off in the night and the staff could not assist. They had private party / braai with people urinating in garden and drinking in communal spaces until almost 1 in the morning. Golf course views not what you expect.

I only had breakfast once, and it was good.

We lloves oir room, the view quietness and the walk around ans enjlues rhe clubhouse amx also our breakfast was so delicious thanls to chef Thato, what a wonderful gentleman and a great chef .

The waitress that aerved us waa so sweet and friendly, Susane and Persy were were awesome. The landscape guys and house keeping ladiea were amazing and friens. The atmosphere was exceptional. I have nothing negative honestly. Though my daughter didn't want to leave, that's how wonderful our stay was. It was my third time stay and I'm gonna keep coming for more.

I can’t believe they call it a lodge when they can’t even allow their visitors to have a proper shower. This was just a turned off and didn’t even notice anything pleasant as soon as I realised that the shower head only took, NOTHING! You wait in the shower for couple of minutes just to have your hands full of water. It was so horrible

The activities were amazing 😻 the horse riding , the quad biking .

Heating unit not working…

A big shout-out to Persie, Natasha Rudsie, and Susan – they always make us feel so welcome and go out of their way to accommodate all our needs. Even when we brought our parents for a few nights, they kindly upgraded their rooms, which meant a lot to us. I really enjoy staying here in the heart of Silver Lakes, where the service and food are excellent. Above all, I truly appreciate the tranquility – a perfect escape from the busyness of the city.

The setting was great, and the staff was fabulous and very helpful.

Some areas need maintenance. The cupboard door in my room was broken. Difficult to get into shower due to placement of towel rack (which assumingely has become loose due to constant banging of shower door). Also the tap in the shower was loose and fell off when used.

I’ve always loved the place. I think it has beautiful features and aesthetics. In a very good neighbourhood.

I absolutely loved the place — it was beautiful and comfortable, and we were really looking forward to our stay. But sadly, not being warned about the water outage completely ruined the experience. We couldn’t even shower before leaving, which was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. At the very least, we should have been given a heads-up beforehand. A little warning or even some grace afterward would have made all the difference. It’s unfortunate that something so basic turned what could’ve been a perfect stay into a stressful one.

Great stay at the Lakes Hotel. Thanks to Susan and the rest of the staff. Our room overlooking the 10th fairway was excellent.

The accommodation was great but the best part of our stay was the service from the lady at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing!

Excellent location. Clubhouse, golf course and amenities are but a stone through away. Highly recommended venue

The spacious room and bathroom were a joy to move around in. Airy, modern and minimalistic decor full of light. A joy to also sit outside having breakfast under the trees, contributing to a restful peace. Staff was so attentive and friendly. Will certainly come again.

The scenery

The pool was literally next to the restaurant. Unless that’s for deco but the pool is in a bad place.

AC didn't work TV didn't work Shower ...took forever for hot water to come through and absolutely no preasure No bathroom door No mirror in the bedroom so couldn't blow dry my hair Overpriced !

Breakfast was good and very conveniently located. Staff was friendly. We were allowed to check in earlier as we had to get ready for a function. The hotel also arranged a shuttle to take us to and from the venue. Hassle free and very comfortable stay.

Security at the gate not polite

Breakfast nothing special and expensive. Had to pay for Barista Coffee extra. Staff at reception and room service excellent.

Room had only 2 towels and no extras such as tissues. Bed had ants in. TV channels did not work.

Lovely, clean, safe and quiet.

I liked the scenery when I was having breakfast. I enjoyed the privacy of the lodge and feeling safe. I also liked the paintings on the walls , and the chandeliers.

I wish the place was a bit closer to town and that TV, I wish it was a bit bigger witg more channels and access to Netflix and YouTube .

No coffee in our room- had to go and get from breakfast area (not great first thing in the morning before even dressed!)

I would like to recognize the front desk reception lady. She was very prompt, pleasant, informative and attentive. She also communicated extremely well to make sure I had everything I needed!

Linnen not clean. Table and chairs outside were dirty. No milk in the room - I have to ask for it.

At the security gate we were not registered as in coming guests Did ask for a wheelchair friendly room The room was ok. Not a superior room as they claim Very difficult to manage with wheelchair at the toilet. Could not fit the wheelchair in the shower Shower was extremely slippery. And I fell. Luckily I did not injure myself No SA channels apart from eNCA available

Shower can be better - water either extremely hot or cold and very fee drops - I understand the water problem, but that was taken a bit too far

Linen needs replaced. It looks dirty (brown) both the bedding and towels. Rooms need a bit of a refurbishment.
