The breakfast was lovely. The staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location opposite the sea and walking distance to Youghal.

* Loved the choice of having a shower and bath. * Staff were very friendly. * Food was delicious.

* Too short staffed - Only one person on breakfast orders. And only one person serving at the bar during the night. * Only half a roll of tissue in the bathroom in our room when we arrived.

Location was great, a few minutes walk from the main town & even less from the beach. Free parking too. Our room was spacious, clean & comfy with a sea facing view. The staff were friendly & helpful especially in the lovely restaurant & bar where the food is delicious with a great menu. It's extremely busy so booking is advisable.

Breakfast was very good.

No entertainment for a four star hotel this was very disappointing. Had to travel to town nightly which meant extra expense on taxis. On one night of our stay a wedding party took over the bar and residents were not allowed in certain areas. ( rediculous there should be private room for this sort of celebration and not suffered by the residents.

Breakfast all mornings were fantastic the two girls that served us were just amazing polite and very helpful.We also used the bar/restaurant every evening and food and staff were also top notch 👏👏

One little negative was the rooms were too hot there was a fan supplied but it didn’t make much difference our room was out to the front looking out on the amazing view because of having the window open overnight the traffic noice was quiet loud all night

Everything. Food really nice both bar and Italian in house. Loved the Italian. Great value for amazing food with lovely ambience. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Such a pleasant feel good place to stay. Location perfect. Had Seaview room which was very nice. Both myself and husband felt the same.....definitely be back.

El desayuno es muy bueno, y las dos chicas que lo sirven son muy amables y profesionales, además de servirse en un salón estupendo. Las habitaciones son grandes y con magnificas vistas al mar. Aparcamiento amplio y gratuito.

El servicio no es de un hotel de 4 estrellas, uno de los dias no hicieron la habitación, el personal del restaurante se compone de gente muy joven, sin preparación y que arruina lo que podria ser un excelente restaurante. La limpieza en general es muy mejorable.

There was no Air Con in the bedrooms and the quilt was very heavy. A sheet would have been helpful instead of the heavy quilt as the weather was very warm.. the room fan was very noisy and not great. .. otherwise the place was lovely.

The rooms where fantastic, beds so comfy and the food and staff are amazing.

Le bruit trés fort du systéme de ventilation présenrt sous notre fenétre. Pour un hotel, j'attend de pouvoir bien dormir avant tout.

Nice, traditional hotel with good facilities and responsive, friendly staff. It made a welcome change from staying in a soulless corporate hotel.

Decorative damp damage by the window in the bedroom; double bedroom a bit too small for our liking - very space for two people.

Das Zimmer war komfortabel und recht groß.

Das ganze Hotel war auffällig unsauber. Es wurde mit Meeresblick geworben, aber nicht erwähnt, dass eine stark befahrene Straße zwischen Hotel und Meer verläuft, bei offenen Fenster war es sehr laut im Zimmer. Die Plätze beim Frühstück waren begrenzt, so dass sich die beiden jungen, fleißigen Bedienungen im Kreis gedreht haben. Trotzdem wurde die Schlange vor dem Frühstücksraum immer größer. Irgendwann kam Unzerstützung von 2 weiteren Mitarbeitern. Es war die schlechteste Unterkunft meines Roadtrips und ich würde nicht wieder dort Station machen.

Beautiful views from the bedroom. Right beside the seafront. The bedroom and ensuite were immaculate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area also had beautiful views. Parking was available at rear of hotel.

The food was only okay. Reception could do with getting rid of those two big armchairs in front of the desk.

Location.. overlooking beautiful coast. Breakfast (to order). Has always been my ‘go to’ hotel when in east Cork.

Tiny shower unit in en-suite (I have stayed before and some rooms have bigger units). Smell of smoke wafting upwards into bedroom from smokers (staff!!) standing in disabled parking spot. Seeing staff nicely dressed in shirt/tie/waistcoat etc… standing outside the beautiful front of the establishment smoking is really a ‘No No’!

The staff are very friendly. Food very good and reasonable the chunky chips are the best! We had lunch and dinner both very nice. Breakfast outstanding great choice and set us up for the day.

TV changed channels, turned itself on and off. Complained 3 times as could not watch tv the third time it came on during the night when we were asleep in bed scared the life out of us then they changed our room. We then had to pack up and unpack in much smaller room with tiny shower no grab rails dangerous for elderly. They gave 50 euros off bar bill.

The room was average, but clean apart from the carpet. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice. The staff were, without exception, very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location. Food was exceptional, both for dinner and breakfast. Staff were excellent and it was obvious they work hard to please the customer. Shout out to Brian who was flat out keeping attending to a large group of ladies in for a meal during my stay and was back early the following morning with a smile and time for a chat. Room 107 is fantastic. Large room, comfortable with great views.

The room was too warm at night. Maybe the timed shut down of the radiator should be earlier

We had a sea view suite. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were good quality. The room was quiet, light, airy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely. And the traditional musicians in the pub on the second night there were beautiful musicians. And the barman was lovely and gave us tips for how to follow the trad music tour around town.

It was all really good.

Great value for money, excellent seaside location, always enjoy our stay here. Will get back

Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε μία πολύ καλή τοποθεσία με πάρκο απέναντι και θέα στη θάλασσα. Το δωμάτιο ήταν αρκετά μεγάλο και άνετο, πολύ καθαρό και αρκετές παροχές. Το πρωινό είχε αρκετές επιλογές. Ευγενικό προσωπικό και πρόθυμο να σε εξυπηρετήσει. Το εστιατόριο - μπαρ είναι πολύ καλό με ωραίο μενού και ζωντανή μουσική κάποια βράδια.

Η κουζίνα του εστιατορίου του ξενοδοχείου κλείνει νωρίς (20:30). Την ημέρα αναχώρησης δεν υπήρχε κανένας στη ρεσεψιόν για να μας δώσει την απόδειξη. Έτσι χρειάστηκε να στείλουμε e-mail για να τη ζητήσουμε και μας την έστειλαν.
