Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast was hot and tasty . Great if you are going to the theme park .
Only thing was how busy reception was on check out . About 10 people deep in queue . They do have express checkout which is good if you don’t need to settle any bills
The location was in the middle of the places we were visiting, the room was clean and well presented. It was a large room with lots of room to move around and do some work in the evening.
There was nothing that we didn't like.
Was so friendly and clean ... It was just perfect, really positive experience Breakfast was very good value, food was delicious and well presented

Great hotel Nice selection for breakfast
Good value and helpful staff
The overall experience in the hotel was very good, the comfort of the bed was exceptional and the staff were very friendly and helpful,
There wasn't anything to fault with our stay or experience and i cant think of anything that wasnt to like to add thankyou
Very friendly staff, rooms clean and accommodating. Great breakfast selection and everything kept fresh, normally don’t think much of a buffet breakfast but was impressed with the quality of this one.
Parking wasn’t great as it shares with the park
The hotel was clean the staff were helpful and breakfast was lovely very good value for money.
Absolutely spotless. Comfortable bed. Food excellent.

Breakfast was so good. Rooms very clean and comfortable bed.
Nothing
The room was a good size.
The bed was very soft and not at all comfortable. The bathroom was not clean. The hotel had zero character or ambiance. The food was JUST BARELY at temperature. 0.1 degree cooler and it would have gone back.
Nice and clean
Nothing
Like room we had and near theme park and good size room
Did not like scrambled eggs at breakfast black pepper on it taste weird no other choices. No bath mat for bath no hot chocolate in bedroom . Also not many plug sockets in room
Closeness to the place we where visiting
It could really noisy with excited children but it was fine
Reception staff lovely, Breakfast was great, buffet style, lots of choice. Room was clean Pie and mash was lovely Dining room staff were great.
Evening meals: Fish & Chips - fish was lovely, chips were terrible, overcooked, dripping in fat, hard, really bad Pizza - very big, too much cheese on, tasteless tomato sauce on it, as it cools down the cheese coagulates and is really heavy. Portion sizes are huge.
The hotel was perfectly located for our days out at the Masters Golf. There was a quiet space in the bar to have our dinner ( we were without any children). The food was excellent. My Superbowl salad with prawns was delicious, as was the honey chicken skewers.
The carpet in our room (206) was old and bagging. The noise of children running around in the corridor was loud. I know this is to be expected but perhaps it could be possible to put adults only in a quieter area ?
Fab location for access to the park! Play-park out the back is a great addition for when the park closes.
Reception area extremely cold. Receptionist wasnt the friendliest.
Good and pleasant staff excellent food .ⁿ
Room to small with the sofa bed made up also stools to low to so you couldn't sit and look in the mirror and do your hair excetra
Breakfast was really tasty lots of choice and hot
More bar menu choice
Sorry but breakfast was very poor indeed . The sausages were awful.....really horrible . The bacon hard and tasteless . The scrambled eggs the worst I've eaten....dry and tasteless . The pastries were very poor.....just no flavour and not really a pastry . Coffee was ok though .
The hotel was fantastic. The room facilities were excellent. Staff were lovely and the food was fantastic
Maybe the only downside was the sofa bed. That was pretty uncomfortable in which I could only describe as hole in the bottom and a big iron bar on the top when made into a bed
We had such a wonderful stay at Drayton’s Hotel! ❤️ Our stay was made even more special when we were given the opportunity to upgrade to a Thomas-themed room, which our boys absolutely loved! 🚂💙 It was especially memorable as our little one was celebrating his birthday, making the experience even more exciting and special for him. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully themed, and the boys had such a great time. We also really appreciated the air conditioning, especially during the heatwave—it made the room so comfortable and was definitely a big plus! ☀️❄️
The staff ,the food excellent.
The first room was dirty, no sink plug bathroom filthy. It was a disabled access room as I have arthritis. But was re allocated and the room was better comfy clean bed but the decor still a little tired poor value for the price. Not suitable for adult only groups. No quiet areas to escape the hoards of children.. won't be going back.
Welcoming staff, good breakfast, entertainment laid on for kids in the evening and convenient for the theme park.
Room was a bit Travelodge like for the price.. Bed was narrow but comfy. Table ordering at the bar was advertised but didn't work.
Hotel was very clean cosy and comfortable, the staff were amazing helpful and solve any problems very quickly, the buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of options, our standard room with sofa bed was very clean and comfortable cud of easily stayed longer
I didnt like that fact we had to leave we had such a nice weekend
Everything was awesome!!

It was easy to find all of the facilities and a short walk to the theme park.

Great location for Drayton Manor access.
The room smelled a bit like urine although it was hard to tell if this was the cleaning products. The play areas out the back are in need of renovations- the swings have no swings and the climbing frame for bigger kids is sectioned off.
Great location to visit the park just a short walk within the complex. We got an uber direct to caburys and also to come and go to the airport, just hassle free. Food in hotel is nice and very accommodating for kids.
Standard rooms probably need updating, sofa bed for kids not very comfy and double bed is small.
The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The restaurant had a good menu and the bar was a nice area to meet friends. We didn’t have children with us and had booked to stay due to the location. At breakfast the restaurant staff kindly seated us in the bar area away from the busy main restaurant which was full of families and children.
There wasn’t anything negative.
Had 2 amazing days in the park and the hotel
Great location close to park, nice breakfast and dinner, room comfy and spacy. Friendly staff (Freya ok reception regards) maken nice atmosphere.
A really good day out with the family. We stayed in the hotel, recommend. Prices are good for evening meals, clean and welcoming hotel.
What an amazing experience we’ve had, we traveled all the way from wales to experience Thomas Land for our 4 year old. We stayed in the Thomas room & it was nothing sort of amazing. It was so clean had everything we needed. Even a little gift left for our son, he loved it. He loved the beds with the tv, with YouTube & Netflix on. Our son has x3 food allergies & the head chef was absolutely amazing with his allergies and even made him food that wasn’t on the menu. I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough, the location of the hotel is great, it’s right by the park & not far to walk at all. Our room was so quiet, couldn’t hear nothing in the night, we all had a great full night sleep. Even had entertainment in the night for the kids which my son loved, all staff are very friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. Thomas Land itself was incredible, didn’t have to wait long in the queues at all. Overall an amazing experience, would definitely come again! 🙂
Brilliant hotel and theme park. Thomas land and the rollercoasters are a big hit with our family! A bit on the expensive side but it is worth it for the enjoyment my kids get from the adventure. We’ve been twice this year already with a third booked.
Lovely clean hotel, delicious food and friendly staff. Great evening entertainment for children hosted by Paul.
Really enjoyed our stay, lovely staff, lovely hotel and lovely food! Ad also accommodated for gluten free.
I stayed recently at the hotel with my family, and I was a little disappointed this time. I have stayed previously and that was in a Viking themed room, which was lovely. But this time I was upset. The entertainment did keep the children entertained in the garden, which was a plus. I went to the reception early evening to request a travel cot expecting that by the time I had got up to my room that it would be there waiting. When I did go back, it hadn’t arrived yet. I did give it another hour or so thinking maybe there was just a small delay, eventually I called the reception and stated I had asked for the travel cot around 6pm. My response was ‘ oh, I’ll do it now’, It then took until 11pm for it to be brought up to the room and by this point my child was upset, despite trying to offer all the comforts I could, attempting to get her to sleep. When they arrived with the cot, I also stated that the window just wouldn’t close and appeared to be broken, I said I wasn’t comfortable with leaving the window open all night because I felt like it was a safety risk with young children and also generally cold of an evening, to which she did try to close it but it wouldn’t work, so agreed with me that it was broken. She said she’d get maintenance in the morning. But I stated it would be a difficult sleep given, having the children with me, and I was told ‘ there’s nothing we can do now, but don’t worry they are fitted with safety latches, so they can’t fall out, that ok? ’ Well it wasn’t, I did state, if it’s broken, how do you know the latch is functioning? but I was just stared at. I wasnt offered an alternative. As anticipated I had a sleepless night while enjoying the clanking sounds of the pipes and the rooms above, I hoped breakfast would take the edge off, but it was just ok. I told reception in the morning that I was unhappy, but was told to email ‘guest relations’. I have, however, my response was a small apology and an explanation of how each room is fitted with child safety locks ( albeit, not great ones if they’re broken!) I stated that I was dissatisfied with that as a resolution, but was told I could have the 10% discount off my next stay ( courtesy of me. Who paid for my annual passes). Overall I am really disappointed with the evening aspect of my stay and for just under £200 for one night, I don’t think it was fair. My children love the theme park and the zoo, the hotel for the most part was clean, and the entertainment for the children in garden was nice, but the issues in the room were a let down. The situation could’ve been handled a lot better.
great position
nothing
Room was very clean, breakfast ha a great variety and dinner was lovely (Steak)
Floor one, when you went through the double door to the right when you come out of the lift, there was a musky smell in the corridor. It was highlighted and dealt with very efficiently.
As a single mum, the value for money that comes with stay and play is exceptional! Two days entrance to the park included in the price, breakfast has plenty to choose from and also 3 fast track ticket each which means going on the rides that we enjoy all the more smoother. We enjoyed our stay and have definitely recommending friends. Very family friendly! Also love being able to do a bit of mini golf before the park open.
The room was clean with plentiful tea and coffee, the beds comfortable and the aircon efficient. We had a standard room, Dinner menu was sufficient and plenty of choice at breakfast with Eggs ? Scrambled always available with Boiled, Fried or Poached made to order. Hotel staff very friendly with check in and car parking pass processed quickly
Had a great three day visit with my grandchildren, they had the time of their lives, all staff we dealt with at the hotel and the park were courteous and helpful, also was glad to see that they were not allowing queue jumping and dealt with it immediately when they saw it. Happy we left stormforce until the end of the day as we were absolutely soaked 🤣🤣 A special thanks to Martin on the Stormforce ride, he was really helpful even when he was under a lot of pressure. Will definitely be returning.
Thomas the tank engine for kids
Noise . Very 2 star
Room quality commensurate with a higher priced hotel. Clean room with plenty of tea and coffee. Helpful reception staff
Staff need better training in the restaurant and reception.
Great hotel stay, particularly for younger children. They loved the Thomas and various trains around the hotel. Playground/ outside space and crazy golf were nice extra bonuses.
Really friendly staff
Nothing
room very clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Good breakfast.
Wonderful hotel, great breakfast and dinner. Park very nice but was very busy due to being schools last days.
Regularly use as ideal location for work
Ideal location, clean with excellent facilities
Fabulous park staff lovely room clean food fantastic would highly recommend
Great location with a lovely breakfast
Check out is too early.
A very nice stay with my children whilst visiting the park for the day. Hotel was clean, both in our rooms and the other areas we visited. Sofa bed was made up for us on arrival, knowing that there would be 3 of us. Breakfast was nice, and staff were on the ball in terms of collection and topping things up. We ate on the terrace in the evening due to wanting to eat earlier than our reservation that was made for inside. We were politely informed that they would leave the booking open in case we still wanted to use it but not to worry if not. The price for snacks and drinks was expectedly high but this does not and should not detract from things overall. Hotel staff, as a collective were incredibly helpful, informative and accommodating with a special mention for Charity on reception who is a credit to the company. Have never stayed before, mainly due to living relatively local to the park but will definitely stay again.
We visited the hotel for 2 nights so that we could go into the park with our 2 year old granddaughter and her parents. We had a great time both at the hotel and in the park. A quick shout out to Freya on Reception who was absolutely fantastic - she sorted out the problem with our room and made sure we knew everything we needed to. Book for dinner before you go as it gets quite busy.
Comfortable, spacious rooms, excellent food in the restaurant, and children’s loved seeing Thomas and friends scattered around the hotel. It was spotlessly clean and we had a very good nights sleep on comfortable beds. Staff were all very polite and respectful. The setting was very relaxing, with plenty of space outdoors to relax for a drink in the evening, after a busy day visiting the theme park and zoo. The children loved it! Drayton Manor was very easy to navigate to there was ample car parking. Compared to other places, it is very good value for money. I would highly recommend and we will be back to visit again soon.
Immaculate clean and very helpful staff.
Very convenient for evening event
Bar shuts quite early
Absolutely Fabulous worth a visit highly recommend
Convenient to the park
Breakfast was very average.
In der Nähe des Themenparks. Konferenz-Facilities.
Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. The staff were attentive yet unobtrusive. Lovely location peaceful. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean.
Nothing.
Just come back from a weekend in Drayton manor resort, we had the best time! The park was great for the kids, lots to do and a good range of rides for all ages. Also worth a walk round the zoo, the kids loved it! We did take our own packed lunch/snacks round as food prices were pricey but drinks didn't seem too bad! Hotel was also great, our interconnecting rooms were spacious and clean. There was also children's entertainment on outside in the evening too which was great. We had two evening meals in the restaurant during our stay, one of which was the add on we did when booking the stay online. Highly recommend this as you get two courses and portions were generous. There are supplements charges for some choices though, but the food was really nice. We also had breakfast too which was also good. Will definitely be returning next year 😊
5* for the young lad on reception on arrival to check friendly and charming 5* for the bath enjoyed a hot soak and fell a sleep in it when you’re used to a shower this is a treat 5* for the comfy bed. Sadly the rest lets your team down…old tired rooms in desperate need of a refurb, black mould round the sink, dirty grey splodge through the room looks like someone threw up at some point and never got cleaned up, fraid curtains looks unsightly, towel rails old and rusting needs replacing, soap descenders gunky round the bottle necks, take seconds to give the bottles a wipe, black mould in the corners of the wall by the sink, dusty head board, lamps and shades, new unit needed as cup ring marks evidence of mould on the tiles, a very noticeable repair on the bathroom tiles after a hole being filled, what looks like wall filler in the bath my first thought was the bath hadn’t been cleaned properly, based on the room itself is why I have give 3* I must insist there is 5* for your receptionist on check in, he was lovely, polite and charming
Someone give Philip and Charity a raise! Excellent customer service, will definitely come again!
Nice clean security very good with passes only working in lift
Only slight thing was the double bed could bin a little wider for 2 of us
Clean, spacious and it felt new. Kia and the staff at breakfast were pretty amazing. I travel a lot and these guys are up there!! Well done all of you 👍🏻
Paying for parking 😡. Upstairs shower leaking into our bathroom.
Been using this hotel for around 5 years and could notice this year it needed refurbishing and a decent clean. Walls need painted were dirty, carpets stained and damaged. It’s not worth £100 odd a night. The food hasn’t changed and is not the best at all. I’d order a basic pizza and chips to be on the safe side. The rooms were somewhat dusty and damp. I managed to experience 2 different double rooms and a Viking room. You’d think the Viking rooms were a different hotel inside. I must say though it is a great break to have with kids especially if they enjoy Thomas the tank engine. The grounds are great to walk round, see lots of widlife and animals. Adventure golf also included. Play park areas have been removed and cordoned off.
Hotel room had mini fridge and hairdryer and lots of space and breakfast and dinner amazing
TV played up so told reception they fix it
Our room was clean, the staffs was pleasant. We enjoyed the breakfast as there was plenty of options . The kids loved the playground.
We booked for 4 people in 1 room. It contained 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. We were due to stay for 2 nights. The only thing I did not like is we was given 2 bathing towel to use for our stay.
Well organised, clean , family friendly,
There was a CO2 alarm in our bedroom that went off at 4;45 am and we didn’t know what it was ! We assumed it was a fire alarm so got dressed and went to reception- he said why are you here ? We said there is an alarm going off and we don’t know what it is !
Perfectly positioned for our visit to the park and the children’s entertainment on the evening was a super bonus! The breakfast was great and dinner was very tasty 😊
Nothing I can think of, this was our second stay and won’t be our last
The staff were absolutely amazing
It was way out of the way of anything but the theme park. I chose that location for different reasons
Hotel was very quiet as park was closed. The room was very cold on arrival and air con not much good. The breakfast was excellent.
Male receptionist was a little abrupt.
From the time we arrived, we were impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Throughout our stay, everyone was most helpful and accommodating. Nice area and convenient for Birmingham and the surrounding areas. There's a certain Golf hotel not far away that could learn a great deal from this hotel's approach. This will be my choice for my next business trip.
The property is great for if u want to be by Drayton manor The reception staff were great
We have stayed twice. The rooms are grubby, beds are very uncomfortable and rooms are super out dated. TV’s are so old I thought I needed glasses to watch. Thomas themed rooms are a complete rip off. The 10.15 check out is also a joke
The breakfast was excellent, delivered to the room when requested. The staff on reception were very helpful and when we were initially disappointed with our room we got upgraded to the Presidential room which made our stay amazing. Thank you!
local to where I was going
The bus didn’t work the bed was uncomfortable
Brilliant stay, evening food and drinks pricey but worth it, especially the bbq chicken bacon waffle fries 👌. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Good selection for breakfast. Clean fresh environment from the moment you walk in the doors. Rooms are a good size with plenty of space. Being located on site saves the hassle of the traffic to get in the park. The evening entertainment for the kids was a great bonus and certainly finished them off for a peaceful nights sleep. Would stay again and we did the very next weekend.
Visited with husband and adult daughter. This was second stay for me and hubby and the third for adult daughter. We were allowed to share one room which kept the cost down and the room was very comfortable and clean with excellent self-controlled air-conditioning which is just as well as we stayed during the recent heatwave when temperatures exceeded 30C. The room was very well equipped including a mini fridge and safe. All three of us were given a key card on check-in and, as an additional safety precaution, the key card is needed to access the stairwells and lifts and also operates the lights etc within the room itself (pop it in the slot by the door). The food and service at breakfast and dinner was excellent and the evening restaurant, The Brasserie, is open to park visitors and not just hotel guests. I would recommend eating here when the park closes even if you are not staying at the hotel. Entrance to the theme park via the 'back entrance' means only a short walk from the hotel to the park and the hotel has a crazy golf course which is open to guests in the evening and I think is free of charge though I didn't try it this visit as it was too hot! The park now has an end of day water fountain show which is worth staying for.
Superb location for getting to the Theme Park. The staff were amazing. The atmosphere was great and there were lovely outdoor areas to use. The menu in the restaurant was extensive and the food was very good.
Location
Given an upgrade to the presidental suite Fabulous customer service
Nothing
Room good for family and the theme park Breakfast excellent
Dinner was basically pub food but pricey
I didn't like nothing, payed £197 for an executive room for 1 night, but when myself and wife went to room was really bad smell, and so much dust. OMG Not going back there

It was a fabulous staying in the hotel and enjoyed the facilities in the park. The hotel car park has got EV charging for electric cars as well. There is an outdoor playground for kids next to the restaurant, so the adults can enjoy the food and drinks.
Facilities were good but tired in places....clearly aiming at the kiddy market ...it would have been nice to have a more adult zone to relax in other than the bar. Room was very dusty. Staff excellent....food choice was limited for adults but excellent what was served. Not enough parking near the hotel for those who cant walk very far but are not registeted disablef.
More soft furnishings in an adult only zone....quiet zone for adults only in the restaurant.....children should not be allowed in the bar
The room was spacious and light. Fantastic outside disco and place for the kids to play and run freely. Staff were generally very helpful and child friendly.
Reception could’ve been more polite, interested and personable.
All staff was welcoming and professional. The location was superb which is within 10 minutes walk to the theme park.
From arrival to departure 5 star. Our staff was amazing as we were greeted by Phil on front desk who was professional as the check in ran smoothly after a long drive. The room had all the amenities we needed and plus facing the play /outdoor eating area. We attended the kids entertainment which was fun (sorry didn't take the host name). He was superb and catered all kids with rewards or Candy's. The outdoor foods pizza, burger, macaroni plus two drinks were very nice, but bit pricey. We went back to the room while the music carried on outside check the soundproof windows which were quiet. breakfast was amazing as there were plenty of selections of foods. The breakfast team were very welcoming and friendly.
