Very friendly staff. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The young man who checked us in was great. If you saw a staff member, they were cleaning and polishing. It was good to see staff who were proud of their place of work. I would happily stay there again.

Breakfast was very tasty (especially the sausages!) however the presentation was poor. It was like my eggs, bacon, mushrooms and sausages were served on baked bean and tomato soup. The machine coffee was also very weak. However my husband didn't mind too much and I don't think the other guests had a problem with it either.

excellent location. staff very friendly and let me leave my bags as I was too early for check in. rooms very clean and comfortable. excellent overall for the price. This was my second stay and I will continue to use the globe when I visit Tamworth from now on

Room 9 The kitchen extractor fan is between rooms 8 and 9 and is rather noisy if you have the bedroom window open, 87 db when I checked it.

Free parking for part of the stay and paid for by host. Nice and clean. Access available via locked doors through out stay. Friendly host, easy check in. Nice toiletries . Comfy small double bed. Host was great at replying and accommodating requests where possible

No easy access to plug, while in bed to charge phone. Terrible tv reception, no availability of itv, channel 4 or 5 and even BBC 1, 2 and 4 kept breaking up. I know you don't go away to watch tv but its nice to have something to watch if you want.

Located next to a car park for easy bag drop off. Easy to check in within the pub. Room was maintained well, clean and with towels. Requested a room with easy access to stairs and this was given.

The mix up from Booking .com re my payment The Globe had no record of my oayment fir the 2 nights accommodation but I had paid when I booked through booking.com Managed to prove payment with my on line banking but the whole episode caused a lot if stress after a long hot journey to attend a dear friends funeral.The Globe staff were v good= fault lied in the lack of communication from booking.com.I am wary of using them again

Room had the kitchen fan right outside the window which made a lot of noise until late at night and started again early in the morning. Understand its an older building but corridor was very loud and could hear everyone walking past the door.

The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly on arrival. The check in process was good. The room was very clean and comfortable and everything needed was provided in the room. Plenty of tea and coffee. We appreciated the separate entrance to the hotel rooms as it meant that you didn't have to go through the pub to get to the rooms. Breakfast was excellent. It is very central for the town, and very close to The Assembly Rooms, which was the reason for our stay.

Our room was very close to the kitchen extractor outlet. It was just a bit noisy if you had the window open, but obviously it wasn't on during the night and was only back on around 7.30am. It wasn't really loud and didn't cause us a problem at all, but if I have to put what I didn't like then this is the only thing I can think of. Having said this, I would stay in the same room again.

The property was located perfectly in the centre of Tamworth and in very close proximity to both Drayton Manor and Stratfold Country Park.

The bin men came to collect the bottles fairy early and we were unfortunately located above the bins meaning we were awoken pretty early.

Handy for work and in the town centre with good parking

The Globe inn doesn't disappoint whenever I'm staying in Tamworth, it has always been a quality visit every time and top value the positives I encountered during my 4 day stay, The room was quite spacious, very clean and functional, equipped with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable, Nice bathroom amenities A quality shower, quite powerful. Peaceful night, no disturbance from outside or from other guests. The bar area, good efficient service, nice food options and a specials board. I was allocated a different room than last time I visited, this time on the other side of the hotel, and it sure made a difference in terms of quietness , and less noise. (Room 1, overlooks Gungate street and is noisy throughout the day, and especially at night).

Perhaps have, air con in the room, as in the summer months it'll need it. (Windows only open a fraction). Room to have a fridge and a safe. I found that the room door, can't be locked from the inside, so during the night it remains unlocked. Most hotels iv stayed at, you can lock your room door and have it locked while your sleeping. Is it me or could that make someone a bit anxious??.

It was not prepared for summer, the bedding was a thick duvet and there were no fans to cool the already very hot room down which meant a very bad night's sleep.

Nice, convient location a short walk away from Tamworth station. Friendly staff. Pub downstair closes early meaning it's nice and quiet enough for a good night's sleep.

There was a bit of noise from the downstairs pub in the evenings but it was to be expected due to the fifa world cup.

Friendly staff and the poached eggs and breakfast were amazing excellent cooking and produce. Rooms are spotless we have stayed a few times when visiting family and will always book this location.

Loved EVERYTHING about this place!!! From the friendly staff, to their helpful and efficient service (I had 3 separate bookings). They allowed me to swap rooms with friends (twin vs double room) and their chambermaid staff came daily, but I declined it as I keep a very clean sheep. I had a Queen bed, and the bathroom was beautiful. Absolutely loved my shower any time of day I used it. The breakfast was great, and the pub goers downstairs were incredibly welcoming. It's central to a market and shopping centre, and other food shops incase you miss breakfast/lunch. I'll definitely be back at the next skate event, thank you so much for having me x

Good town centre location with a reasonably priced park next door. Very close to restaurants and pubs. It is very clean and everything in the room worked! A nice breakfast was available for £10.

We stayed during a spell of hot weather and we noticed the lack of air conditioning.

Goed hotel. Alleen was het water in de avond lauw. Boiler was waarschijnlijk op. 10 min lopen vanuit treinstation. Winkelcentrum op 5 min loopafstand.

Old style pub suited us perfectly, sports screens plenty of them , beer good and staff very attentive, Room was clean and hallways smelled fresh and not like some hotel corridors which smell sour. Breakfast brilliant and hot food freshly made.

It's an old building but the rooms are modern. We had a very comfy twin room and it was quiet.

We had a Lads & Dads get together, on Saturday afternoon/evening. Fantastic price for a bank holiday weekend! Great bar, short walk to town centre. Really nice & helpful staff, easy parking. Nice room and fab Full English!

What’s not to like?

Stayed at the Globe Inn whilst visiting my brother. It was clean and tidy but very basic. On returning back in the evening lots of drunken men coming back. Very intimidating and quite noisy. Well positioned to my brothers flat. Staff nice. Would stop again because of how convenient it was. But to be honest not out of choice.

It was a big hotel on a more quiet road which was good. A car park was right next door, so this made it easy to park and not so far to carry luggage. The check in was easy. The room was bright and clean with a lovely big bed, which was very comfortable. The bathroom was new with a shower.

The hotel didn’t have a lift and I find stairs difficult. I did know this when I booked. Our room was quite a way from the top of the stairs too. It backs onto a club and there was some music noise but it stopped after midnight. A mat for inside the shower wasn’t supplied and a handle on the shower wall would be a good idea.
