Construction early morning couldnt sleep well st all and kids running and shouting I thought it wouldve been a relazxing stay rather than too much noise

The view was absolutely stunning. The pools were stunning and the restaurant was amazing.

The beds were very uncomfortable, kettle provided in the room had a different plug fitting to the actual country we are in? So could not use it. And the room itself could have been a bit cleaner.

Up in the hills off the beaten track and away from the hustle and bustle. A 5-night stay here was just what we needed to wind down from an intensely busy period back home, and to kick iff 5 week stay in Bali. The views are amazing especially from the infinity pool. Our room with plunge pool was very comfortable and a generous size. Loved the buffet breakfast and afternoon tea each day was a treat. We booked a couple of massages and also two shuttles into Ubud. The shuttle is a necessary service as the resort is too far from Ubud to walk.

Not a negative but more of a suggestion that their could be a better shuttle service, running more frequently. The gardens are spectacular, but the lower levels below the pool down the steps are unkempt. Going down and up the 700 odd steps that take you right down to the river is great cardio. Some of the tiles on the steps are loose so obvs take care.

The view was amazing

No restaurant for dinner. The resort would be a 10 if there was a restaurant that caters for all meals and was situated with a view of the valley.

The pool was quite large with beautiful views.

Unfortunately the resort is old and tired and definitely needs some major upgrade. The first room we checked into smelled damp and had mouldy ceilings and walls. The wooden furnishings were creating dust/powder substance which I suspect could be from termites??? The mould made us feel uncomfortable and unwell. Thankfully the staff were accomodating and transferred us to another room. LOCATION: it’s a little away from town and nothing really around the area not even a mini mart for essentials. The free shuttle service was handy, although requires a two hour notice to book. BREAKFAST: It’s ok. Nothing exciting. If location permitted I would much prefer to eat else where. STAFF: Very friendly but for some reason requests are often forgotten. Not sure if they are short staffed but things seem to get overlooked. They even forgot to service our room.

뷰가 너무 환상적입니다♡ 이 가격에 이런 뷰라니.. 붐비지 않아 수영장 남편이랑 둘만 써서 좋았고요. 수질 깨끗해요! 시내 멀어서 불편하지만 미리 시간맞추면 픽드랍 가능합니다. 음식 배달도 잘 오고 직원들도 친절하십니다. 멋진 뷰 보면서 수영하고 조용히 푹 쉬실 분들만 오셔요. . 글구 연식이 있다보니 낡은 느낌과 정글안이라 작은 벌레들은 좀 있어요. 외출시 에어컨 빵빵하게 틀고 가세요. 습해서 침구류 금방 꿉꿉해져요. 단점은 그닥 신경쓰이지 않을 만큼 만족합니다. 감사히 잘 쉬다 갑니다^^

The view

The staff were so nice and the service was superb. We were welcomed with a drink, then a tour to the place and to our room. Our room and the view were exceptional. Upon booking this hotel, we cleared our itinerary and decided to just have a staycation since the photos of the place were nice and we thought it would be worthy to just relax for 3 days - we were right! When staying in a hotel with this view, spacious room and nice facilities, it is a waste of time to go out. If you wanna have a rest from all the noises of the busy beaches and cities, this is a must-book. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention their food - 3days of great food and views. Our stomach and eyes were full!

The view was excellent. The shuttle and 24 hour pool access was great, however, the room needs a massive upgrade as it has outdated furniture, dusty, and bathroom needs improvement. The restaurant needs improvements as it looks outdated. The breakfast option is very limited and takes ages to get food. They give you complimentary dinner but the dinner option was very limited as you can only choose one main meal and one dessert, no sides and drinks. It's pointless to give free dinner with such limited options and delayed service. The lift has no light.

We had an amazing time. The resort was absolutely beautiful, and the views were incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Just the location

I made a reservation for 90 minute massage for my husband and I. But therapists finished the massage in 80 minutes. I therefore reported it to the front desk immediately. However, Yoga, a front desk staff, ask me to pay in full even if the therapists did not provide the full 90 minute service. In addition, his attitude was horrible. He first blamed us for being late. I refuted that I went to the spa room 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment and the therapists came to the spa 8 minutes before the treatment time. Then he said the massage started at 4:02 pm according the clock in the spa room and finished at 5:30 pm according to my cellular phone so that there was no problem. The problem is that the clock in the spa room runs behind. He should not calculate the duration based on two different clocks particularly when one of the clocks runs late. And he kept making excuses for 40 minutes or so and we had to spend our precious time on the day of departure arguing with him. The manager was nice and upgraded our room. I therefore had a good impression on this resort until it happened. But not all the staffs are as nice as the manager. I do not know whether I would come back.

The overall experience was great and the hotel met our expectations. The view from the room is fantastic and the river calms and relaxes. We also liked the pool (and they have several). I will also put it as a plus, that the hotel is situated quite close to the wild nature and meeting monkey on your balcony/terrace is not a surprise :) If you mind your belongings and won't leave anything outside, you should be on a safe side. We kept our swim dress outside and they didn't seem to interest the monkeys, however I'd rather not experiment with the smartphones or jewellery. The experience was great, especially for our 8-year old son. Also, for me personally, I liked the kitchen of the restaurant.

Every morning you may find some fallen insects on a terrace couch as well as ants. It didn't bother me too much (they've been wiped away after each cleaning) and was a part of the in-depth Bali nature experience. The breakfast was a little bit spicy, almost all items were hard to eat if you are not used to the spicy food.

写真通りの景色で、実際はもう言葉にならないくらい最高でした。静かで、神々しく。これがウブドかなぁ、と 街までは、車で、３０分と遠く、ホテルの周りは何もなく、コンビニさえ歩いていけません。だからこそのこの環境なのかな。ワイファイも問題ないです。逆にデジタルデトックスができませでした。誘惑に勝てない。どうしても虫は多いです。おこもりしたい人には最高です！ ホテルのスタッフはとても親切です。日本円の両替はできません。

For us, Rijasa was perfect. The view is stunning & just what we hoped for, overlooking the jungle & river below, where we could watching the rafting throughout the day. The infinity pool was beautiful, the staff are the best, our room was lovely & balcony was great. The complimentary shuttle is available & we were even taken by shuttle to a recommended restaurant in Ubud at night. The girls in the restaurant couldn't be more helpful & friendly. The food was good but could be improved on with choice perhaps. Complimentary afternoon tea & ginger tea were a bonus. Definitely recommend if you'd like peace & quiet and don't mind being out of the hussle & bussle.

Bali has a lot of beautiful hotels from the rice fields of Ubud, to the beaches of Nusa Dua, the cliffs of Ulawatu to the busy streets of Kuta. I've been to Bali 3x and tried 4 hotels and by far this is the best hotel I've booked and lucky we did. It exceeded our expectations way beyond we can imagine. We went off season in early December so the hotel is not fully booked. We felt it's our own private villa - the privacy is spot on. The hotel is about 20 mins from Ubud Center and 1.5 hrs from Denpasar. The price is really affordable for our standard room at just 80 SGD per night plus breakfast. We took a private car going to hotel and coming back we took the hotel's free shuttle service from Ubud Palace. The lobby is amazing - spacious, clean, and refreshing. The hotel's décor is Balinese with a touch of European design. The yellowish white marbles were very shiny and elegant. They even have a Grand Piano which I tried and a Balinese Gembalan. The lobby itself has an amazing view of the jungle and the river Ayung that runs through it. The check in is fast and quick and we got amazing Pineapple fruit juice and cold towels provided to refresh us. We were booked in the 1F just right from the lobby and our room is standard with a King size bed and free breakfast. The room is ginormous - feels like an apartment. Like the whole hotel, the decor is Balinese/European inspired and the floors are made of marble. I really love the Balinese woman painting in our room. As you enter the cabinets to your left has a safety lock and slippers are provided. The mini bar has coffee/tea/complimentary bottled water provided and it has mini ref. To your right stands the might toilet which has tub, toilet and sink and it is massive. Toiletries are also provided and i really love their frangant soap. The tub, which is very big/clean and easy to fill-up water and toilet bowl has divider. The water pressure is really strong. The TV is placed in a cabinet and it has both local and cable channels. The wi-fi is really fast compared to other hotels I've stayed in Bali. The study table is really posh and elegant specially that lovely lamp shade. The King size bed is really clean, comfortable, soft and relaxing - 4 pillows provided and it has power outlets and lampshades on both sides. White/Yellow Plumeria Rubra which is really very fragrant. Situated beside the bed there is also a chair and side table and complimentary fruit basket provided on our first day. To top it off the balcony really seals the deal - a complete bird's eye panoramic view of the Ubud rainforest and the River Ayung, Bali's longest river that flows throught it. There is a river rafting actvity on this river and I could see the rafts and the cheering tourists on it - really unique experience. An abundance of birds are also endlessly flying through this forest. The pool is really the crown of this hotel. There are 2 public pools - the main one on the dining area which is the biggest and has fan shape and the one below it which is square shape. The main pool has the most outstanding view of the forest and the river below it but the bottom one is also equally unique on its own - we tried both. The private villas with pool are also visible from the top floor and both have panoramic views of the forest. Our breakfast is ala carte set and you could choose between American, Continental and Indonesian. It comes with appetizer, fruits, bread, juice and coffee/tea. I tried American and Indonesian and both are equally satisfying and delicious. To top it all off, the staff are really amazing - they made our stay really memorable and special - we felt that we own this place. If I ever go back to Bali, I wouldn't have any other second choice where to stay but I will surely be back at this lush, beautiful, romantic, relaxing and memorable hotel called Rijasa Agung.

As I was doing extensive research about resorts in Ubud with breathtaking views, I realized that most of these places were so steeply priced. However, I found this gem of a hotel in Agoda for about 80 USD a night. This is already the cheapest one with an infinity pool that offers an unobstructed view of the mountains beyond. My sister and I stayed here and were pleasantly surprised at every turn. The place is majestic with beautiful architecture. Our room was a few steps away from the magnificent pool and was huge but homey. We had wifi, free snacks and breakfast. The hotel also provides free shuttle service to and from the Ubud center, which is about 10 minutes away, so we had no problem exploring the town when we’re not busy swimming. The staff were friendly and hospitable. Will surely return!

Great location amidst the back drop off nature and water falls. Nice rooms. Provides great options of food at their restaurant. When you need peace and solace, this is the place to be. Stayed for only 2 nights, really felt i needed more time at this place. Staff was cordial and hospitality was awesome. Looking for forward to visit this place again.

Hidden, down a one/two way road that has been home for families for generations. The Rijassa Anung is very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are huge but felt comfortable.We had hot tub on part of our deck but we didn't use. Staff friendly and helpful. The pools were beautiful along with lush gardens. Some nights a troup of monkeys would come flying through the gardens We liked our time there

Det er et rigtig fint hotel med godt personale. Pool og udsigt fås ikke meget bedre. Hotellet er for personer der sætte pris på fred og ro, uden børne og bilstøj. Det ligger væk fra byen og tager ca 25-30 min til ubud. Det var rigtig fint for os, og der var gratis transport.

Everything good for 4 stars. Pool is beautiful, location etc. Water pump noise 24 hours, every second. Some days the noise is not terrible, some days yes. Ubud is in 20 mins, free shuttle. Food is very simple.

발리에서 묵었던 숙소 중 최고였습니다. 정글쪽이라 숙소 가는 길이 멀었지만 그만큼 가치가 있는 숙소입니다. 어떤 비싼 숙소들보다 수영장이 예쁘고, 객실 발코니에서 보이는 정글뷰는 정말이지 말로 표현할 수 없을 정도로 아름답습니다. 조식 또한 너무 훌륭하고 직원분들도 모두 친절합니다. 다음에 발리를 다시 방문한다면 또 이곳을 선택하고 싶습니다.

The last time I enjoyed a stay in a hotel as much as I enjoyed staying at THE RIJASA ANGUNG HOTEL AND VILLAS was a very long time ago in Greece. From arrival, the hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were upgraded to a suite, which was an absolute bonus and unexpected. The room was magnificent, the views breathtaking and the jacuzzi on the balcony a treat. The hotel facilities are super!! Meals in the restaurant are delicious and affordable. The hotel gardens and pools are superb offering great photo opportunities. We travelled south-east Asia for 6 months in total and I can say without a moment of hesitation that the Rijasa Agung offered the best value for money of all. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!!

Magnifique séjour dans cet hotel. C’est la deuxième fois que j’y séjourne en deux ans. Le personnel est toujours à l’écoute, l’hotel est propre. L’hotel est excentré d’Ubud mais un système de navette gratuite est mis à disposition, permettant de se rendre à Ubud en 15 min. Je recommande vraiment cet hotel qui est un havre de paix. Gros coup de coeur pour la piscine à débordement avec vue sur la jungle ainsi que pour les massages.

We went to Ubud in the end of Feb'19 and stayed at Rijasa 2 nights. We were so impressed with the nice service from all staffs of this hotel. Our room has balcony that we could see the stunning view and hear the sweet sound from a lot of birds and Agung river in every morning. The room is clean and spacious. The swimming pools are so beautiful. Location of this hotel is isolate from the noisy area but it has a free shuttle to serve you from Hotel to Ubud palace. Worth to stay. If I have a chance to go to Bali again, this hotel will be my 1st choice.

The staff are very friendly and English speakers. Food is delicious and the view is quite amazing. Highly recommended for honeymoon or relaxing! Much better than stay in the busy tourist center of ubud.

We stayed in January for 5 nights and 100%, 5 nights was not enough! We were celebrating my 30th birthday and our anniversary and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make my stay one I'll never forget. Hotel - Amazing hotel, extremely elegant and timeless. The resort is huge and we rarely ran into other guests. There was always someone on hand to assist. The hotel offer free shuttle service to and from Ubud which we used quite often. It's only a short trip to Ubud, and the driver was more than happy to drop us to select places along the way and pick us up from the same spot. The hotel offered free return airport pick up/drop off. Birthday - Hotel brought me a chocolate birthday cake at 9am on the day of my birthday, singing me happy birthday and accompanied by a lovely bunch of flowers. We went out for the day and returned to a bathtub full of rose petals, balloons with "happy birthday" and a banner saying "happy birthday". They provided 4 free 1 hour full body massages and a free dinner - the massages were incredible! Room - We booked an Rijasa Suite Villa and it did not disappoint. View was something out of a fairytale. Amazing private pool, looking out over the jungle and the Agung River. Room was just the right size, huge bathtub with a great view of the jungle and the room had free minibar! You have to walk down a few steps to get to the room, but it is 1 thousand percent worth it. This hotel is incredible, we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff who made this stay one for the memory books!

The staff make this hotel. Although many don't speak perfect English, they do their best and more to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Bedroom is large, with uncomfortable bed (how can a matress be so hard?) Bathroom has a shower over bath. Pool area is pretty. Breakfast is included, but everything I ate (spinach, mixed veg and potatoes) was absolutely covered in garlic! Foul. It was so bad I didn't bother with breakfast again. If the staff had been less good the hotel would have got 3 stars. It's certainly not luxury. Hotel is located a 25 min drive from Ubud centre.

Wow!! This place is a visual treat. From the time we entered this place it felt we were in a palace (You can just point your cam in any direction and click :)) Again we found this hotel after lot of online search as this too generally doesn't show up on popular hotel aggregaters. Location: it is located in the outskirts of Ubud in between the lush greenery. You will be away from the noise and crowd and will enjoy the peaceful nature.. If you need to go to market you will have to use the shuttle or personal taxi/scooter.. The place is easily accessible by car so reachablility is not an issue.. Staff: The restaurant staff is extremely courteous and is always with a smile.. Didn't interact much with front desk so can't comment more on that but seems fine.. Room/Pool : 2 words : Instagram Paradise :) You can spend whole day at the 24x7 infinity pool with minimum crowd. We had deluxe room which was on the second floor (#204) and had a great view of the jungle and pool from the balcony.. A river flows in the jungle which also is visible from the balcony. However I would also recommend to keep the balcony door closed in night as insects might get inside( though I didn't face this problem). Food : Since this place is not over crowded the restaurent has a good spread of breakfast but not too extravagant (to minimize the wastage I guess). However I recommend to may be change up few things daily so that it doesn't become monotonous. Overall : I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to take a break from chaos and spend some quality peaceful time. A hidden gem in Ubud.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! We were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a villa with a private pool! The room is big enough with a comfortable outlay, everything seems to be in the right places. It has split system airconditioning which was a pleasant change after old noisy aircons in Novotel Nusa Dua. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We had couple of dinners there and they were nice as well. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We asked for a late checkout and we got it. We wish nothing but the best to this hotel! If you are considering a nice and relaxing place to stay look no further.

Rijasa feels like your very own palace... I like peace and quiet and Rijasa gave me just that. The views from your room and the pools are breathtaking, you look down into the quiet jungle and you can take a dip in the infinity pools as the sun sets on the horizon... The staff were brilliant- friendly and so helpful, it really does make such a difference! The rooms are beautiful and clean with a French touch and lots of space... I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax and unwind in Ubud!!!

The hotel is incredible. So gorgeous and the staff are a delight. The views from the hotel over the valley and THREE infinity pools is breathtaking. A nice relaxing place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but well placed to visit all the major tourist sites. You won't go hungry at breakfast, room service is super quick and the food is excellent, laundry and house keeping - couldn't ask for better, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is second to none. Highly recommended to anyone visiting nearby Ubud. Whilst out of town, the hotel provides a free shuttle service during the day, and drop off and pick up is conveniently located. Be sure to check the Rijasa out, you won't regret it!

Das Hotel bietet warscheinlich die schönste Aussicht! Der Pool ist ebenfalls ein Highlight. Die gesamte Anlage ist beeindruckend. Das Frühstück ist einfach gehalten. Für jemanden mit keinen hohen Ansprüchen i.O. Es gibt einen gratis Shuttle Service von/nach Ubud! Zimmer sind groß und haben das wichtigste. Die Zimmer wirken nur etwas kalt. Die Sauberkeit war auch völlig i.O.

From where the hotel was situated on a hill overlooking the river, the view is priceless. The infinity pool faces the Agung River where you can spot white water rafters loading onto their boats in the morning. The location is quite secluded so you definitely need a driver or you could take the hotel's free shuttle. Room is good sized and comfortable, and they have a huge tub enough for two to share. Only downside is the flight of steps you have to take to get to your private villas but the concierge will gladly help with your luggage. Other than that, if you really want a quiet place to find your solitude, this is indeed a hidden gem!

View great,position too far out of Ubud although transport to and from Ubud was adequate. Breakfast was usually cold, limited and not very desirable

The hotel is 25 min by car from Ubud, placed on the top of a hill and surrounded by the amazing Ubud jungle! The hotel is clean, nice and the staff super friendly! I definitely suggest to stay there and to relax a bit in the two amazing infinity pools!

This hotel was a bargain for the price I paid in my opinion. The view from my balcony was spectacular and the location is beautiful. The staff were friendly and it was a pleasant experience.

The place is insane and the views are out of this world. Staff are really friendly and it is perfectly safe there. It is out of the way but if you call reception with enough notice there is a free shuttle bus available whenever you want to go to Ubud.

We loved staying here. The hotel was in a beautiful position overlooking mountains and jungle. The rooms are huge. The pool was great. The staff were very efficient & friendly. Close to many attractions near Ubud but away from the frenetic pace. Highly recommend!

Had the most amazing time at Rijasa! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Could not fault a thing. Nice staff, gorgeous hotel and great food (both breakfast and at the restaurant (which was also quite cheap!)). Had the best time we have ever had at this hotel. A hidden retreat with the most stunning views of the Agung River and Forest. We stayed in a jacuzzi room which is a must do! The hotel is a far distance from Ubud city centre but they do provide a complimentary shuttle. The staff are very helpful and staff always do their utmost to make it a pleasant stay.

Beautiful , clean and spacious room with free minibar and snacks. View from the balcony which also had the bathtub on was exceptional. Staff were friendly. Pools were lovely overlooking the rainforest and river. Restaurant food was average. Overall great hotel.

The jungle setting is the star of the show at Rijasa. Tucked away along a small narrow street 20 minutes from ubud centre, the hotel offers stunning views of the jungle and mountains with peek-a-boo views of a rice terrace and ayung river. The hotel itself is quiet grand, the rooms are spacious and the infinity pool overlooks the jungle. The facilities did appear to have some wear and tear in the bathroom and pool areas. It's a quiet hotel (we were 2 of 9 guests whom we never saw) and we had no problem booking the transport to and from town everyday. The staff were helpful and friendly. We assume that due to the lower occupancy, our breakfast was a la cart (decent and fresh) and our mini bar was not stocked. Overall, it was a relaxing stay and excellent value compared to the two luxury resorts next door. Better for those who don't mind the shuttle to/from town.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and polite throughout our stay and spoke English which was very helpful. The view from the rooms are incredible and it is worth staying at the hotel for the view alone. The air con in the first room didn't work and the staff promptly moved us to another room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we visited Ubud.

Вкусная еда в ресторане - постарались опробовать максимальное количество блюд индонезийской кухни. Заказывали трансферы из аэропорта и в Нуса Дуа, бесплатный трансфер в Убуд. На три дня - идеальное место для отдыха.

The hotel staff is particularly helpful. Very nice driver for the shuttle. The hotel is beautiful and has 2 amazing swimming pools. It's a bit far from Ubud town so it would be great if the hotel made the shuttle service more frequent. Now its every 1-2 hours.

Wir haben 5 Nächte im Rijasa verbracht. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, vor allem der Infinity-Pool mit tollem Ausblick. Nach Ubud sind es 20 Minuten und der Shuttle-Service vom Hotel sehr nützlich.

Amazing view, well worth being a bit out of town. To get anywhere you need to use the free shuttle, which is easy enough to book and only takes 20 mins. The room is very nice and the bed really comfy. Not spotless but with it being just above a rainforest it would be impossible to keep it very clean. Breakfast is good, a mic of local and western food which would means everyone would like something.

location is too far downtown. But this resort have a good view at the pool. And breakfast is very good. And there is a free shuttle bus to downtown. I will recommend to my friends.

Overall my experience at the hotel was fantastic! The views are incredible and the staff were very helpful and willing to provide as much help as possible! The only issue we had during our stay was one evening the restaraunt was over run by flying insects, although this is a hotel on the edge of an epic forest and all other evenings we had no trouble at all! (The one off we just ordered room service instead) I would certainly reccomend this hotel to any friends or family and would return at any given oppertunity!

If busy Bali is not for you, then this Resort may suit your travel requirements. All rooms have valley and Ayung River views. Beautiful infinity pool, which we had to ourselves each day. Restaurant is basic and will suffice for a quick meal. Ayung Resort restaurant next door is beautiful and you are welcome to book for dinner - highly recommend. Free shuttle bus to and from Ubud very easy and times are accommodating. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The Resort is not new, but very clean and in good repair

If you want a quiet location to relax (away from the rat-race of Kuta) and you have done all the sightseeing on a previous Bali trip this may be the place for you. Beautiful views over the river valley with rice terraces and water rafting in the river below. Free shuttle to Ubud (20 mins) keeps you connected for shopping and good evening meal choices and you can source lots of other activities in the Ubud area from the town. Facilities at the hotel are not numerous and although the horizon pool is nice there is little deck chair space and the pool bar is not always open. Staff are very friendly and helpful and you can book services like massage (very reasonable at $25) from the front desk. Airport transfers (takes about 80 minutes) at $25 are good value. Only real downside are the meals at the hotel which I could not recommend as they can't seem to serve any of them hot (breakfast grill was cold on two days and the bae marie breakfast which is only one day per week, was only slightly better). Selection is reasonable but they need a complete review of recipes as very few are what you expect, for example, Caesar Salad was just slivers of vegetables with some sort of mayonnaise and croutons of small soggy toast squares instead of crisp cubes and no bacon. Pizza bases are terrible, they need a genuine pizza base dough and egg on a pizza is not 3 fried eggs flattened on top of the base! Until the food improves I would choose to take the shuttle to Ubud, even for late breakfast.

Auf den ersten Blick wirkt das Hotel und der Ausblick toll! Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Das Restaurant lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Ungemütlicher Essbereich, qualitativ kein gutes Frühstück, Servicepersonal im Restaurant und Rezeption spricht und versteht kaum englisch. Für 1-2 Nächte Durchreise ist es ok, wenn man außerhalb in Ubud isst, aber für mehr nicht.

ロケーションはよく、部屋の雰囲気も良い。 ただ、清潔感が無い。 部屋に入ると排水溝の臭いがする。 虫の死骸がテーブル、ベッドに沢山。 ２日目のベッドにはなかったので、恐らく、長く宿泊客が泊まっていない部屋に 掃除もせず、１日目は通されたのだろう。 歯磨き粉は固まっており、使えなかった。 宿泊客がほとんど泊まっていないホテルで、人気がないのかな？といった印象。 スタッフの応対は良い。 朝食はあまりおいしくない。 次は利用しない。

I stayed three nights and loved it! If you're after the whole Kuta Bali experience then this is not the place for you. If you're after stunning views, nature (I saw monkeys, lizards, frogs, birds from my balcony) and a relaxing get away from it all then this hotel is great. A free shuttle into Ubud is easy to organise for spa treatments (Bali Botanical is great) and sightseeing in Ubud, whilst the hotel itself provided clean rooms and friendly accomodating service. The language capabilities of the stafff where adequate to the standards I've encountered on previous trips to Bali, no worse. An attempt to learn a few words in the native language goes a long way as it does anywhere in the world (ie; terima kasih - thankyou, tolong - please). As a solo woman traveller, I also felt very comfortable - don't be put off by expedia claims that "clothing is optional" as throughout my stay all guests and staff etc were suitably clothed as befits the traditional culture of the Balinese. All in all, a great place to stay if you want to think, relax, swim in a boutique hotel, away from the strobe lights and crowds in Kuta.

The staff are ever so kind, they do have some difficulty understanding english but go out of there way to be of service. The 10 min. shuttle ride is definetly worth it as you can't get such a location in the center of Ubud. The grounds are breathtaking, the views from the balcony in the rooms is surreal. We highly recommend this hotel.

Came straight from central Kuta, so a big and not to mention needed change of pace. Views are amazing, people are great and the hotel was spotless. easy to get into Ubud witht the free drop off and pick up but we just hired a scooter for about $5 AUD per day in Ubud. Worth the stay, plenty of options around the area for physical activity to keep you busy.

This hotel has the most spectular view of the river valley that if managed properly could be a jewel. Unfortunately, the lack of an english speaking on-site general manager and poor international language skiils prevent this. Examples include assigning and delivering the wrong bags to the wrong room, bugs and dirt in rooms, no chairs on a private pool, no functioning bar, and a poorly timed shuttle service. The local staff lacks training and most significantly leadership serving an international cliental. Several customers checked out early and most had problems that appeared to be communciations related. Thje owners need to wake up and staff the place with professionally trained hotel management personnel, and not a low cost local staffer without the necessary skills. AVOID THIS PROPERTY.

This charming, country-side hotel is about a 15-minute drive away from Ubud town center. The hotel has spectacular views of the Ayung river and surrounding jungle. Two great infinity pools let you enjoy your stay in this idyllic and quiet hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean with faux marble throughout the room and bathroom. The service in the hotel could be a bit more proactive though, e.g. you have to find a waiter to order drinks/food to consume at the pool. Also the breakfast buffet was rather basic. It's probably better to eat outside the hotel.

The service is excellent, the hotel staff are friendly and they would go the extra miles to help make your stay pleasant. Although the hotel is a little further from the Ubud central they offer a shuttle service which you could arrange at your convenient with the hotel staff. The view is breathtaking too. I would recommend it to people who would like to explore outside Ubud central and love nature walks.

Friendly and helpful service and great value for money for such a beautiful location high above the ravine, overlooking forest. Two beautiful swimming pools. Very flexible on shuttle rides into Ubud and back - Few people seem to eat in the restaurant other than at breakfast so atmosphere is very quiet - for any kind of evening entertainment Ubud is the destination (about 15-20 minutes drive). Small local village with basic provisions. Bicycles available and white water rafting also nearby. Recommended if you like peaceful surroundings,

This hotel was great, staff were very helpful but sometimes problems with understanding English, but this added to the fun of it. Rooms beautiful, very spacious, linen could be improved. About 25 mins from Ubud, which didn't really create a problem as there was always a shuttle bus. Food at hotel reasonably priced. View from rooms wonderful, overlooking hillsides and river. Good value.
