The small television in the rooms and the small double room is tiny altogether

Location was absolutely fantastic and the staff very welcoming. Shower was nice and clean and great pressure. Room was clean but very outdated.

The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab and the pillows so thin they were pointless. The toilet paper holder made it feel more like a public toilet that a hotel toilet.

Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. Breakfast was good.

There are 2 pubs directly opposite the Hotel so can get noisy at nightime.

Wir haben unsere Buchung storniert, weil die letzten Bewertungen recht dubios waren ("ein Schlüssel passt an allen Zimmern", "keine Besucher mit aufs Zimmer", "laute Geräusche vom gegenüber liegenden Pub", "Parken im Parkhaus teuer", "Sauberkeit", ...). Alles in allem hat es sich nicht nach einer seriösen Unterkunft angehört.

The staff at the Ashley Hotel were all fabulous. Friendly, professional and helpful. We asked for no bleach or air fresheners to be used in our room due to medical conditions and this was complied with absolutely, making our stay fantastic. The hotel was spotlessly clean and triple glazed, so very little street noise. Across the road in a pub named The Corner House we had a great night with traditional Irish music. The following morning we had a full Irish breakfast in the dining room which was freshly cooked and reasonably priced for that area. We would stay again, although one drawback is the absence of a lift.

Perfectly located for our needs. I had an extremely early flight that morning and really needed a nap before the wedding we were attending, and the receptionist was extremely helpful and rang me as soon as a room was ready. It was hugely appreciated and really saved the day. The rooms are dated but in a charming way. Feels a bit like a time capsule in there and I hope they keep it that way as the hotel doesn’t feel soulless like a lot of modern ones do.

Really weird experience coming back after the wedding. The receptionist (not the same one from earlier) demanded our room number, key and both of our names. I believe that’s how all guests are treated as they don’t want anything untoward happening, but it was embarrassing and unwelcoming. It was fairly early in the evening, we were both sober and dressed to the nines. It felt like we were being reprimanded and very much left a sour taste. It would, unfortunately, put me off returning.

Parking étroit même pour une moto. Arriver à 15h si vous voulez une place. On entend un peu les bruits du couloir d’accès aux chambres. Petit déjeuner moyen. 6€ pour 2 tranches de pain de mie grillé et un thé.

Fantastic value: It completely exceeded my expectations for its star rating. Perfect if you want to save money and don't need unnecessary, pricey hotel amenities. Excellent updates: The bathroom is spacious, modern, and clearly recently renovated with a great walk-in shower. They even provide handy paper towels alongside regular ones. Great sleep quality: The bed is incredibly comfortable, and they provide two types of pillows (one feather, one foam) to suit your preference. Spotless cleanliness: The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided every day. Perfect location: Very central, right at the foot of the hill leading to a beautiful viewpoint, and surrounded by plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Wonderful staff: Highly professional and friendly, both in email correspondence before arrival and at the reception desk.

L hôtel est vraiment vieillot. Épaisse moquette qui cache la misère. Beaucoup trop cher par rapport à la qualité. Une petite machine à café aurait été préférable , vu les tarifs , à une bouilloire et du café en poudre.

Posizione molto comoda per visitare il centro città, subito fuori dall'hotel ci sono un paio di bar e ristoranti molto comodi e carini. Finestre insonorizzano i rumori della strada. Asciugacapelli e doccia molto comodi.

L'hotel è un po' stretto e scomodo, con una moquette che difficilmente si può tenere pulita e senza polvere a dovere, le finestre sono molto dure da aprire e chiudere. Inoltre le camere non sono per niente insonorizzate rispetto all'interno dell'hotel (sembrava che gli ospiti delle altre camere e nel corridoio fossero in camera nostra). Funziona solo la luce principale e quella del bagno, mentre tutti gli altri interruttori non funzionano e la luce da lettura non si accende. In fine il lavandino era molto scomodo perchè per accendere l'acqua bisogna schiacciare il pulsante con la mano e appena lo lasci l'acqua si spegne, quindi bisogna lavarsi una mano alla volta in pratica, e il getto era fortissimo e finiva acqua ovunque.

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is really well located to get into the City. Good facilities in the room, and the breakfast was of a good standard.

Rooms are a little dated however it added to the charm of the place.

This hotel shouldn’t be given any rating. It’s unbelievably bad and expensive. €660 for 2 nights stay with no breakfast. We left at 10:15am after ONE night. An alternative room was offered but we declined. No air conditioning no lifts - old cigarette box with cigarettes under one of the beds - 3 single beds which were very close together. Gammy window.

A simply lovely hotel which I highly recommend. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

The location was ideal if you want to get close to the city just the outside of the hotel looked a bit outdated but mainly it was a solid stay for the price one paid

The staff were really lovely, informative and helpful. The room was clean and cosy, and a lot quieter than I was expecting considering it's location.

It seemed like there wasn't a lot of staff there, no staff at the coffee dock or bar. Very small and old fashioned place, a bit of a "lived in" feeling. But all things considered, they do their best with what they have and I had an overall pleasant stay.

Wish they had a lift. getting up the stairs with luggage was difficult. To be fair the staff helped with the luggage to the room which was a godsend.

Location was grand bed was very comfortable bathroom was clean and shower was good. Room was small but for only one night it was ok.

The hotel could do with some updating the price paid for the room was a bit steep could have done with breakfast included no air con so room was a bit hot with weather were having.

The inside is very Out dated there were flies swarming all over the property , the bedroom smelled like septic tank, the shower only ran cold water there was no a/c in room and was roasting the hair dryer did not work there was no soap or anything provided . Disappointing overall experience the hotel is in bad need of updating
