Opikopi Guest House

Excellent location, excellent food, attention to detail

Nothing that we did not like - we were sad to leave

I don’t have to go restaurant “hunting”! Very good food, the staff are exceptional helpful yet professional.

Nice place

Restaurant very good location close to rooms. Surburb breakfast! I love the warm breakfast. Service excellent. Fruit juice fresh. High quality food incredience. Nice coffee. Outstanding dinner with suburb dishes on the menu.

Nothing

Zeer vriendelijk personeel

Breakfast was excellent. Very good restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nothing.

Safe and clean and very good restaurant. Clean and good sheets and bedding

It is neat and the team has pride. Great breakfast.

Location was great, rooms are beautifull.

Service was bad, manager was unfriendly and unwilling to help. No availability at the restaurant for dinner. Room was not serviced, coffee station was not refilled, no take away breakfast was provided but promised. Problem with geyser and AC, spa bath and gass heater did not work but was clearly visible on photos.

Little expensive for no real milk and only 2 decaf coffees that I used to. Also expensive for no breakfast included. I also struggling 20 minutes before the gate to get out by 05:00 - security showed up after SEVERAL hooting. Makes me nearly late for my flight.

Great service and place, Thnx

Geyser was not working properly

Amazing location and staff

Nothing

The property had a home-like appearance and feel

One staff member in the restaurant made a poor decision, and handed me a note from a person that was trying to be anonymous. They may have been coerced with some money, but nevertheless, they should be instructed NOT to secretly pass notes to guests. My partner was extremely insulted by this.

Everything

Everything

Everything was just fine.

The safety was great with a security guard 24/7 at the gate. The staff was very friendly and the Peppertree Restaurant was excellent

None

Lovely comfortable bed and nice linen Friendly staff Delicious breakfast Nice location

Restaurant, staff and menu are great!

Would be convenient if kitchen/bar can close at 21h00😁 Especially, for guests that have to travel.

This was the second time I stayed here, and I really love everything. From the staff that goes above and beyond, the calmness of the place, the safety and the restaurant. Rooms are really comfortable and beautiful.

Nothing

The restaurant was awesome - the best part! The room was also very comfortable. The coffee machine was the BOMB!

The TV didn't work!!! There was no signal ... I tried to fix it but couldn't ... so just left it. Also - I know there was DSTV ... but not sure if there was Netflix ... Netflix is way better :)

Very nice guesthouse with very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Great anemities in the room to make stay very comfortable. Big comfortable bed as well. Great restaurant right next to guesthouse, so breakfast was of great quality. Staff was also very helpful.

Only small negative that the aircon in the room was a bit noisier than normal.

It was a great feeling

Vriendelike diens......skoon kamers

The structure is modern, elegant but also furnished with warm style. Really nice and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful in case of any needs and special requests. The structure also hosts an excellent restaurant.

All was perfect

The Restaurant close to our accommodation. And the restaurant staff was wonderfull.

We needed more light at the mirrors

The staff live up to their 5 star rating with awesome friendly service. The food was also divine.

Nothing to fault.

Breakfast is exceptional, food taste good and service very fast and staff very friendly.

cannot complain about anything, was happy with everything

This boutique hotel/ guest house is excellent and always a good choice for accommodation. Friendly staff and very helpful. Good facilities and large rooms & bathrooms

The restaurant on site is a bit of a disappointment. The quality of their dishes is very good and tasty, but the portions are really small. One can accept the expensive prices for the dishes, but at least give a decent size portion. This is South Africa and one doesn't expect to pay EUR 25 per meal...and then still have to go out to McDonalds afterwards for a double cheese burger and chips, just because your main meal at the OpiKopi Restaurant did not fill you up.

The breakfast is absolutely fantastic! And the variety is great. Not the normal meals, but very special. The location is very central in Pretoria East and a very safe environment.

I could not find anything I did not like. The rooms are big, clean and very comfortable.

I booked on very short notice due to work circumstances, late in the afternoon, and could only check in at 10 p.m. From the moment I confirmed my booking, the staff were amazing - they immediately replied to my message, reassured me that someone would be there to help, and even offered to arrange food waiting for me in the microwave in my room if I needed it. When I arrived late at night, I was warmly welcomed, shown to my room, and the food was already waiting. The staff were incredibly friendly, thoughtful and helpful, which made my stay comfortable and stress free. It's rare to find this level of personal care and responsiveness - I really felt looked after. Highly recommend!

nothing

the breakfast was amazing and well presented. The venue is stunning, although parking was a bit of a problem. The room was perfect (blind in bathroom needs fixing). Amenities offered were very good and dinner was superb.

Access to Reception - there was a delegation and I think this impacted on parking and dinner service although the food was very good.

A beautiful, well managed and excellent maintained Guest House.......one of the best I have ever visited! Staff well trained and friendly! Food was excellent, especially the Tuna pancake for breakfast. I will certainly choose Opikopi again!

Parking for bigger vehicle is a problem

Heerlijk restaurant, leuke mensen.

Great stay with exceptional service

It's a quite Guest house, that is safe for us international travellers. I liked the efficiency in resolving our booking error. We didn't have to wait to be allocated another room

Absolutely nothing!

I forgot my watch in bathroom- i had a call to come and pick it up- I really appreciate the staff honesty

Excellent, fresh fruit, memorable coffee.

Nothing not to like

Restaurant, accommodation and staff were outstanding!

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Opikopi Guest House. The service we received from the staff was exceptional, with special recognition to the team at the Pepper Tree Restaurant for their outstanding professionalism and hospitality. We also truly appreciated how well-maintained the property was, and the dedication of the housekeeping team who ensured our room was spotless every day. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Opikopi Guest House team for making our stay so enjoyable. Without a doubt, Opikopi has become our second home, and we look forward to returning soon.

Excellent guesthouse in all aspects

Location, security and nice spacious room

Unfortunately load shedding kicked in and generator was in close proximity to our room

Location, beds, restaurant, super friendly staff

More charging facilities needed

We had a wonderful experience at Oppikoppi. The location was perfect, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, reflecting excellent attention to detail. The cleanliness throughout the guest house was impeccable. The food was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would highly recommend Oppikoppi to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay.

Rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with an awesome ambiance. Staff were extremely friendly and professional and went out of their way to ensure we have everything we needed. The entire experience from online booking to check out was an absolute treat and pleasant. We will definitely return.

Amazing little place

There's nothing to dislike.

The rooms were very neat, breakfast very good. The property feels safe. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Pretoria.

The internet is the only thing I can complain about. I have stayed there multiple times and was disappointed every time. I need to make Teams calls for work while I travel to Pretoria, and the internet line/coverage is just not good enough.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff.

Felt just a bit overpriced for a family stay.

The room is very spacious. Bed unbelievable comfortable. Coffee machine with Illy coffee a great plus.

The smell in the room from either something they cleaned it with or something they sprayed in the room. Very overwhelming.
