Het hoofdgebouw was sfeervol. Het gebouw waar onze hotelkamer was gesitueerd, iets afgelegen van het hoofdgebouw, veel minder (relatief ‘kaal’ en onpersoonlijk). Het verwachte uitzicht van een kamer met balkon / terras viel behoorlijk tegen; door het aankijken tegen de zijkant van een grote schuur en bomen.

The sauna didn’t work, but they gave me a discount to the pool and gym because of that :)

Треба замінити косметику в номерах на нейтральну, бо грейпфрут і лайм - дуже специфічно, у когось може бути алергія.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Un hôtel exceptionnel où tout est de qualité. L’accueil est chaleureux, tout en restant discret. Le lieu en lui-même est incroyable, et les espaces communs permettent de s’installer confortablement dans une ambiance très cosy. Le petit déjeuner est absolument incroyable, tant pour la magnifique vue que pour la qualité et le choix des produits. La chambre est très confortable, avec un lit particulièrement agréable. Les produits mis à disposition, comme le shampoing et l’après-shampoing, sont également de grande qualité. L’emplacement est facilement accessible depuis la ligne 1 et permet également de rejoindre facilement de très belles randonnées à proximité, avec de magnifiques points de vue sur Oslo. Une très belle expérience !

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Vriendelijk personeel, mooie ligging beetje buiten de stad maar met de metro op 5 minuten lopen een hele mooie uitvalsbasis voor een citytrip met kinderen. Zwembad is ook met kinderen een welkome aanvulling.
Diner buffet was niet heel bijzonder, ontbijtbuffet was wel heel goed.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Die Zimmer mit Balkon und dem traumhaften Ausblick sind toll! Das eigene Schwimmbad mit angenehmer Temperatur und Sauna haben wir gern genutzt. Auch hier hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick in die Natur. Wasser konnte man sich rund um die Uhr zapfen. Beim Check in wurden wir gefragt, ob wir eine tägliche Reinigung wünschen. Das Gelände ist schön grün und weitläufig. Super Anbindung in die Stadt mit der U-Bahn.
Die täglichen Gebühren für den Hotelparkplatz.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026This is quite a unique property with a lot of character! Beautifully designed, I would describe it as very cosy, stylish too. Such a peaceful, quiet location, zero city noise. Lovely spa. Food was 10/10 too. And an amazing restaurant manager, very knowledgable and friendly.
My only regret is that we only stayed 1 night!

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Hotel ligt wat afgelegen en rustig wat verder weg van oslo. Vlakbij kun je met lightrail mee naar het centrum. Wij hadden alleen overnachting en kwamen niet voor centrum Oslo. Voor de 3e maal hier gelogeerd. Dit hotel gekoz3n omdst je tot lekker laat kunt zwemmen.. Waar dit voorheen bij de prijs inbegrepen was moest er nu aardig fors voor bijbetaald worden. Ook het parkeren is niet meer gratis, wat jammer is, wat ik kan begrijpen alss je vlakbij of in centrum zit, maar dit hotel zit verder niets omheen. Waarom dan toch parkeerkosten. Gratis koffie/ thee de hele dag door te verkrijgen. Ontbijt zoals iedere x hier echt heerlijk
Jammer dat er nu kosten bijkomen als je wilt zwemmen/sauna en voor parkeren. Hierdoor kwam onze overnachting rond de 250 euro.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Przyjemny hotel położony w spokojnej, pełnej zieleni dzielnicy Oslo. W pobliżu trasy spacerowe, ścieżki rowerowe, obiekty sportowe. Stacja metra 8 minut przyjemnym spacerkiem. Pokój przestronny, dobrze wyposażony, smaczne śniadanie, duży parking, na miejscu restauracja.
Rano czekała nas niemiła pobudka. Obsługa postanowiła uruchomić myjką ciśnieniową pod oknami gości. O 7.20 obudził nas nieprzyjemny hałas, który skutecznie zerwał nas na równe nogi. Nie rozumiem, dlaczego nie można było poczekać do 9.00. Poprzedniego dnia przejechaliśmy 700 kilometrów i naprawdę chcieliśmy pospać dłużej. Męczyły nas też drzwi od łazienki. Zamontowana sprężyna była bardzo mocna i wejście do pomieszczenia wymagało użycia dużej siły. Po 10 razach można było poczuć zmęczenie.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026The best hotel you can find in Oslo! Quiet and cozy, incredible view from the window. We slept great and woke up to the birds singing. The breakfast is quite varied but can get boring if you stay for 3 or more days. The hotel is more like a museum with a lot of paintings. Parking costs 180 NOK per day, which is much cheaper than leaving your car anywhere on the streets of Oslo. Special thanks to the very friendly manager Ihor! He told us about the history of the hotel, gave us a mini tour, and helped with all the questions and check-in, which made our vacation unforgettable. We will definitely come back again soon!
Not a minus but it might be useful for travelers to know. The hotel is located high up on a mountain, so it might be more difficult and take longer to get there by public transport than by car. In everything else, this is a perfect place!

Obwohl alles Natur ist rundherum und ein riesiger, leerer Parkplatz zur Verfügung steht, muss man als Übernachtungsgast für das Parken zahlen. Ist meiner Meinung nach Abzocke. Abfluss in der Dusche ist verstopft.

Nach Auskunft des Mitarbeiters an der Rezeption werden Motorräder von der Parküberwachung nicht erfasst und müssten keine Parkgebühren bezahlen. Dem ist aber nicht so, wir haben nur durch Zufall unser Kennzeichen doch in den Automat eingegeben und mussten doch bezahlen. Das hätte eine Strafe gegeben, zumal der Anbieter des Parkplatzes nicht zum Hotel selbst gehört. Das ist ein NO GO, bitte Mitarbeiter entsprechend schulen !

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Genuin byggnad i trivsam miljö. Frukosten alldeles förträfflig med ett brett och rikligt utbud. Rummet bra med kylskåp och kaffebryggare. Fin service att man fick hämta olika varma drycker i närliggande lokal. Som helhet ett riktigt bra boende för några nätter även om det var en bit att promenera till stationen med täta avgångar.
Det skulle vara betydligt bättre för både hotellgäster och hotellägare om kostnaden för bast, pool och övrigt som fanns tillgängligt på hotellet ingick i det man betalar för boendet. 500 kronor till per natt spelar ingen roll när man bokar, men det kändes dyrt med avgifterna för dessa saker när man är på plats. Middagen på kvällen var tyvärr både inte vad man förväntar sig och särskilt inte om man jämför med frukosten. Priset på maten stod inte i relation till kvaliteten tyvärr. Därför sökte vi alternativt matställe.

The ventilation in the hotel did not work. Bathroom was humid and with no ventilation it was pretty unpleasant. Door to the bathroom was impossible to open without force. There was food leftovers in the drawer that was disgusting. Staff was trying to help to find another room - but in 30 degrees heat and no aircondition it was hopeless. Breakfast was mediocre. NOT WORTH THE MONEY I PAID. Next time I will find another hotel in Oslo.

The dinner was average. Fish was a little bit dry.
