An elegant hotel with a friendly, helpful staff.

Wow for en gjennomført plass. Estetisk behagelig, stimulerende og høy kvalitet. Rommene var 10/10. alle småting var på plass for en behagelig og lettvint opphold og reise. Her har mange hoteller mye å lære. Mener da små enkle ting som å ha en ismaskin i gangen, steamer til klær, paraply, skoskje, lesestoff og alt praktisk man trenger. Vestkantsbadet var rolig, harmonisk og bare visuelt enkelt i sin skjønnhet og stemningsfullt. Høy kvalitet på personalet også som er smilende og imøtekommende! Absolutt verdt pengene! God mat og drikke, for å ikke snakke om frokosten! kommer absolutt tilbake!

The breakfast was the best that we have ever had in any hotel any where. Just so comprehensive in offer, super fresh and held in the exceptional dining room. The team were just so helpful as well. The hotel is just beautiful, superbly located in the centre of Oslo with fantastic restaurants as well. The room was sumptuous with a fantastic bathroom and the room was well done with your bed turned down each evening with a snack as well. But best of all were the staff who just couldn't do more to help you and make the stay even more enjoyable. A huge shout out to Anabel, Fiona and Dora behind the bar. Rockstars and just so good at what they do.

Loved the art deco style, the music band in the brasserie during dinner.

The staff were amazing. A special thanks to Portuguese Maria and Manager Marcus. We thoroughly enjoyed the Jazz night and the dinner was excellent. It’s a short walk to the palace and beautiful parklands.

Our room was tiny and barely had room for 2 people and bags. I burned my fingers on a hot surface at the cooked food while picking up a plate. The staff were very apologetic and helpful tending to the burns on my fingers and subsequently put up a sign saying it was hot. No compensation offered.

The breakfast was amazing. It had many options to choose from. The customer service in the reception and lobby area was exceptional. The bedroom was exceptionally comfortable and spacious.

The service in the Thai restaurant downstairs was very slow.

Die Betten waren soooo gemütlich und das Frühstück, war echt top. Ich habe auch das Kafe Lucy in der Eingangshalle toll gefunden.

Es war sehr kalt im Zimmer und man konnte die Klimaanlage nicht individuell steuern / abstellen.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The range of choices was outstanding. Best buffet we have ever seen. Helpful cheerful staff

A lovely hotel in a perfect central location. Well appointed rooms, comfortable beds and wonderful breakfast.

It was very confusing for guests to have to make reservations for rooftop pool and sauna use. Generally, gym use feels controlled as well - we tried to access but were not able to. For the price point, shouldn’t guests have appropriate access to all amenities? That part was incredibly disappointing

Parking was offsite and was a process to drive in from airport which is about 40 km away with tolls etc

Die Atmosphäre und die Mobilisierung. Tolles Frühstück. Das Personal war sehr nett. Leider hat das Buffet des Frühstück ohne Bescheid zu geben um 10:30 Uhr zugemacht.

Was mir nicht gefallen hat, ist der Lärm von der S-Bahn, der gegenüber unserer Schlafzimmer gefahren ist. Dann musst du die Fenster zumachen. Und dann hörst du nur ein bisschen.

Location was fantastic - you can almost walk to any place of want in the city and if you feel lazy you can always hop on the tram right in front of the hotel Bed - mattresses were awesome. Did not sleep that good over a long time. Restaurants - what an easy thing to have so many options to eat within the hotel. House maids - really great and accommodating team.

The outside pool is not included for the rooms above the junior suite - weird to advertise a pool which you have to pay for…… Cleanliness - OK but far from being perfect Staff - not a 5* experience - the reception did not guide us through anything, the staff restaurant was OK but not a brilliant service (some of the staff were almost rude). Overall it’s not a 5* experience especially giving the price you pay a room that is not what I was expecting. We’ve felt like we were products - for example they put sheet masks but with a price tag in the bathroom - that’s cheap…

Stunning building and interior concept with an amazing spa and gym. The breakfast is incredibly delicious and with many healthy options. The staff is entirely focussed on giving you a good time. You can feel everyone is motivated - the management must do a great job.

The service lines from the room telephone where not so easy reachable and the announcements on the phone could also be in English.

One thing only The elevator one day stopped and I tried many ways to call the reception or ring the bell but nobody helped us someone needed to use the elevator and he opened it and save us when we tell the reception they said ok don’t use this elevator again we can’t do anything to you Ok you can put at least don’t use this elevator so no body won’t be in the same situation

This is a gorgeous, high end hotel with chic styling and great amenities. The gym and spa area were a total surprise for how very nice they were, and the rooftop Izakaya restaurant had amazing food and views of the city!

The front desk staff did not seem that well organized and was a bit rude regarding bags we checked at the counter when they couldn't find the correct bag. It felt like an experience I would expect at a hotel that was not a luxury hotel and could have been better.

emplacement petit déjeuner copieux avec large choix mais perfectible : pas de sucre sur toutes les tables, pas de cuillère.

nous sommes arrivés avant 15h à notre retour dans l après midi nous avons du récupérer nos valises à l accueil : pour un 5 étoiles je pensais qu elles seraient dans la chambre. pas assez d explications à l arrivée ne serais ce que pour expliquer comment verrouiller la porte en partant : si on ne repositionne pas le badge la porte n est pas verrouillée. pas de sèche cheveux liquide pour la douche vide a la fin du séjour : pas de check.

I had a wonderful stay at Sommerro. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the entire experience felt seamless. The team consistently went out of their way to assist us, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. The breakfast was outstanding, with an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality options. I would happily stay here again!

El servicio es bueno excepto “El Lucy Café “. La ubicación buena. El desayuno muy completo.

Las habitaciones en la última planta con ventana muy pequeña no corresponde al precio pagado . El Lucy café en la terraza no nos sirvió bebida en media hora y cuando la pedimos nos dijeron que estaban cerrando . El comedor del desayuno es muy oscuro, las mesas muy pequeñas.

The housekeeping and reception staff were notably unhelpful. In dealing with a problem. They forgot to clean our room.

Location is excellent. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast very good.

Bathroom very little and low shower pressure. Price is high for overall value.

We had just one small misunderstanding with the waitress during our breakfast. We didn’t know we have to order prosecco so we just had a small glass. The waitress was little bit rude about that, she apologised but it was little bit humiliating because everyone was looking at as like we are being guilty for something. After that she brought us a bill which was fine but she should have offed us some more and say something. Because she just put the bill on the table without any word. So everything was awesome this was the only small thing and the stay was amazing

Small room. No way to unpack in the small dark bedroom. On my second stay I asked for a room that might be large enough to unpack a suitcase. We didn’t get one so I returned the suitcase to storage

Der große Saal im Art Deco Stil mit Live Jazz am Abend und fantastischem Frühstück am Morgen vermittelt eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre.

The hotel is gorgeous, it's privilege to see the renovation. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and lavish.

The room did not have enough drawer space to unpack. All of the draws were filled with hotel supplies. I requested additional hangers and that was helpful.

Love this hotel! The staff is super helpful! And so nice. Love the ambience, the rooms are really nice. The breakfast is a definite favorite, love it! Favorite place in Oslo.

Only one thing that could be better, the cappuccino in the breakfast, other than that everything is amazing!
