Staff were very polite, professional and friendly. Your dinner menu needs more variety and should change each day.
Room 404 had no view and frosted glass.

Right in the centre of town, very nice rooms and quiet and spacious
Parking is a nightmare
Staff were amazing, well done team! All so friendly and cheerful. Victoria and Garima on reception so lovely and Angie at breakfast super kind and helpful. They are the reason I would come back x
Also more tea in room would be better.
Breakfast was good, Good location for walking in to town,
The only thing the car park is not very big.
Dinner, aircon, comfort
Smokers on patio areas
Great location and the staff were helpful and polite. Also, the hotel as a carpark which made parking easy. Additionally, the room was comfortable and the breakfast very excellent.
It was ok Coffee was good
Cooked breakfast was cold
Great location for me for work. Lovely clean rooms, Good aircon and in room facilities. Victoria in the restaurant was fabulous and looked after me on the trip and my previous visit.
Good location, clean and comfortable
Food service was poor at breakfast, keeping food and crockery stocked. Other meals weren’t great and desserts weren’t as expected eg crème brûlée was actually just cheesecake and Erin mess was a cake 😳
excellent service , the staff were very warm and helpful Breakfast was great, full English breakfast on and selection of croissant in the buffet
Room was fine. But on opening the door you walk straight into a large wardrobe. There was nowhere to place a suitcase.
Way too expensive for what it is. Breakfast had limited options.
Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Shared facilities in lounge and bar very comfortable too. Breakfast very good and evening meal very good too.
Decor nice , comfortable, clean and good location.
Shower tepid and paying for parking.
The staff were amazing always pleased to stop and ask about your day and everyone had a smile, a wonderful team
I wasn’t aware of the £10 a night for parking, I chose the hotel because it advertised private parking
I had an evening birthday party at Milford Hall Hotel, with many of my guests staying the night at the hotle too. All of them who stayed said that the rooms were lovely and there was a great breakfast too. Amanda Guest, the events manager, could not have been more helpful with organising my party and the room looked lovely on the night. We had a sit-down meal with a number of meal choices which were all delicious. The staff looked after us all so well throught the evening too. I can highly recommend Milford Hall Hotel for holding a special event: abig thank you to Amanda, the Chef and the team who looked after us all so well.
Breakfast was good. Decor was adequate. Bed was large enough and comfortable.
There was no dedicated parking, and I had to pay extra to park at the hotel. The walls of the rooms were thin, and I could hear my neighbour with ease.
Angie was amazing as my daughter was not very well and Angie could not do enough to help she ensured I had everything I needed the house keeping member of staff was also really helpful providing me with extra items I needed. Excellent customer service thank you
Breakfast was great, a good selection and friendly staff, Angie went the extra mile which was appreciated. The room was clean and although appeared to be recently refurbished, there were parts that let it down. The reception staff helped out with a noisy room neighbour, which was appreciated.
Stains to the carpet, the room looked newly decorated so it was a shame that the carpet had staining . Chipped paint on bathroom door. The bathroom looked newly refinished so this was a detail overlooked, spoiled the whole room. The family room lacked a comfortable armchair, so although we wanted to get room service we had nowhere to sit and eat. It also lacked storage, not enough drawer space for 3 people. We had trouble sleeping because the occupants next door had their tv turned up loud, reception staff asked them to lower it but they didn’t, sadly.
Great location, lovely clean and comfortable room, also quiet
A couple of times had to wait around i reception to get a response
We stayed at this hotel for just one night, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, there were serious hygiene and cleanliness issues with the rooms within our group. In our two rooms, we found stains on the floor, as well as visibly dirty towels. We asked for the towels to be replaced, but they brought us dirty towels again. One room of the group had big blood stains on the bed! This is simply unacceptable for a hotel. The attitude of most of the staff was also very disappointing. They were generally unfriendly, unhelpful and unprofessional, with one notable exception: one member of staff was genuinely kind and helpful. We were also very uncomfortable with the fact that we were asked to pay for dinner while eating, which gave us the impression that they did not trust us as guests. The way this was handled was unnecessarily unpleasant and made us feel very unwelcome. The dinner itself was very mediocre. Overall, this was a very poor experience, mainly due to the unacceptable cleanliness standards and the attitude of the staff. Apart from one kind member of the team, the service was disappointing. We would definitely not stay here again.
Good quality accommodation and very clean, Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly
Very pleasant stay at Milford Hall. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice Victoria was always checking that are Breakfast was of the highest standards The receptionist were very helpful ,who added hat extra quality to our stay
Easy access to local amenities
Having to pay for parking
I stayed through work, what a pleasant surprise! The hotel was impeccable, well run and the rooms felt more luxurious than the price. The rooms had great zircon, fantastic bed, nothing felt shabby or tired. The bathroom was perfect. I also appreciated the low noise at night. Breakfast was very, very good. Wiktoria kept things running like a Swiss watch, being attentive to the customers and ensuring nothing ran out at 9.30am. Check in was easy and the car park next to the hotel was excellent and safe and well lit. Bar and restaurant was comfy to the point that staying and eating in was an option and room service wasn't going to break the bank. Salisbury centre and the Catherdral only 10 mins away. The city is safe and the Saturday Market was really good. This hotel is perfect, I have to stay in Hotels as part of my work duties and I shall be staying again. Thank you Wiktoria and team, I really appreciated all efforts to delivery great customer experience.
Location, friendliness of staff, large comfortable rooms with air-conditioning. Pillows were very good and bed was really comfortable. Shower really nice with both handheld and rainshower options. Lovely breakfast with good choice and great staff on hand
There wasnt anything
Super comfy bed (Hypnos), air con, comfy towels, good shower products, good tv

This stay as been one of the most pleasant stays I have had all the staff at this hotel can do enough for you. I use a medication which needs to be kept cool and was instantly provided with a fridge all the staff are polite and if they can find time in there busy days will spend a little with the people The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable and the food is cooked superbly I will be returning and wish to thank all the staff for a wonderful stay with a little special mention to angie who provides cuddles if requested fabulous 👌 stay
Having to leave will be back (just for the cuddles)
Lovely breakfast, great location, comfy spacious accessible room. The staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk to .
Parking is limited and cost £10 a day.
Attentive and customer focused
Location. Decor. Staff.
Dirty cups in room. Not being able to order even bar food before 8.00pm as we don’t like to eat that late. Could have used more milk in room.

Breakfast: - Hot meal was great, to be expected.
Breakfast: - cold meal lacking, no fruit salad. Dinner: - Good, staff excellent.
It is very difficult rating our stay, as vast discrepancies in staff's attitude influenced it greatly. Upon arrival, the lady checking us in noticed our mobility issues and kindly offered to switch our room to a ground floor one. Entering the room (which still necessitated quite a walk and the crossing of six fire doors), I noticed there was no safe, one bed side table was missing, the bed looked smaller than a premium king and the armchair' s left arm was missing a piece of upholstering. Given the combined problems I asked we be given a different room - something I have not done in over ten years - to be told there was no other room available and that there is no safe in any room. I therefore asked to see the original room we had been assigned and seeing that the bed was the same size and the stairs high, I chose to stay in the room on the ground floor , provided a bed side table was provided. When I asked the lady who had accompanied me how could we store our valuables, she answered:"In the room safe", and when I told her there is no safe in the room, she said there must be so I invited her to come and look - and indeed no safe could be found. The bed side table was delivered by a gentleman who behaved as if we had disturbed him saving the world - the same gentleman who the day later ordered us out of the room so he could clean, even if it was almost twelve and we had already been out of the room for extended periods twice. On the second evening we wanted to order a light supper from the bar and although it was more than half empty we were told sternly by the lady in charge that it was fully booked and no table could be found for us. With the same mobility issues, we traipsed to a restaurant quite a walk away and returned about an hour later to find the place even emptier than it had been previously. When asked, the lady said "it is all finished". The morning after, we were woken up at 7:25 by a false fire alarm, and no apology was given. Our request for a late check out on a Monday morning (of an hour or two) was flatly refused and we were told the hotel was again fully booked although we stayed in the premises till about three pm and the place was empty. Conversely the ladies in charge of breakfast are professional, kind and caring. The room has a split personality as well, with working a/c, modern tv, new bed and bath but very scruffy, cheap and old furniture. The location of the hotel, outside the city center but well connected by bus, makes it quiet. Personally, until the personnel undergoes a serious managerial review so that they all convey the same courtesy, trustworthiness, helpfulness and flexibility ethics, I am not sure whether a guest will fall under Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hide and I feel I cannot in all conscience recommend it.
Extremely comfortable and cozy, very convenient. Great breakfast!
The shower design with no door allows water to leak all over the bathroom floor everytime you shower, there’s no stopping it and makes a lot of mess. With such a small car park and being so busy, parking was limited and you were charged for it!
The reception staff were welcoming and attentive, and our room was cozy, spacious, and featured a very comfortable bed. The in-room air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a huge relief during the hot summer weather. As a minor downside, the reception area lacks air conditioning, making the check-in process quite uncomfortable on a hot day. Onsite parking is limited. We arrived around 6 PM and luckily grabbed the very last spot, so it is definitely worth arriving early.
Nicely decorated room. Very comfortable bed. Central (walking distance to centre) and yet quiet
Lovely hotel. Close to Stonehenge. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely town.
Nothing really
Nice and clean, roomy bar area and the feel of a good hotel
Nothing, it was good with good sized rooms and 10 min walk from town Staff need to be a bit more upbeat- there is lots of competition and it just felt functional rather than warm and friendly
地理位置很好,到大教堂近

Clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the train station over 15 minutes and city centre slightly less. We have stayed onlly 1 night but would gladly recommend.
Nothing at all.
The hotel was so lovely a fantasic room and will be back there
Tjere was nothing i didnt like
We stayed for one night whilst touring the South East. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated throughout with a great wet room. Towels really soft and fluffy. We had dinner outside due to the heat. There were a number of options on the menu and great value. Our waitress was very attentive throughout. Breakfast is buffet style and the staff are happy to assist with various variations of cooked eggs to your liking. The car park is chargeable. Make sure to register your vehicle at reception upon arrival. You can walk from the hotel into town within approx 10 mins. Straight down the street.
The staff are friendly, room was cleaned well. Location is good, refurb is bringing the hotel up a few notches from my first stay a few years back.
Hotel is undergoing a refurb ..I had no hot water for the three nights of my stay. Unsure if this was due to refurb work or boiler fault. Staff dealt with it as well as they could but they were full for the duration so I couldnt move rooms.
Easy, quick check in. Room was clean and the air conditioning was very needed in this heat. Fantastic!
Just the parking is an unexpected charge. We had to pay £20 for 1 night
Staff very friendly and extremely helpful
No air conditioning in public areas
Confort y limpieza
Personal poco amable y poco organizado
Free parking, comfy room and nice breakfast.
Slow service in the bar, disabled alarm went off and was woken up by staff banging at my door.
Arriving and finding that the room was ready two hours early, as requested. This was important as it was a roasting hot day and I wanted to shower before going to a party, rather than turning up sweaty and dishevelled. Even better, they'd stuck a card in the socket so that the air con had been going and the room was chilled. This exceeded my expectations as many hotels forget to do this.
Two things could improve: 1. Pre-arrival coms could have been better. I kept receiving pointless AI generated messages along the lines of "We're so excited about [insert marketing nonsense]." I just wanted an answer to my question about early check in but didn't get one. In fact they did let me check in early, which was great, so why not tell me before I arrived? 2. One other possible improvement would be training for the receptionist. There's no reason why she should be genuinely pleased to see new guests arriving, but perhaps she could learn how to fake it.
Victoria did a great job with us for dinner in the restaurant. Please thank her very much. The rooms are comfortable while being small. The new shower room refurbishments are good although no hot water for the entire trip was very frustrating with a young son staying with us.
The lack of hot water for all three nights was very frustrating. Being told the hotel was under refurbishment AFTER we had booked was sharp practice & nicely covered the possibility of issues without highlighting that it should be a consideration especially on holiday & with a young son in our bedroom.
No hot water, wasn't told of that on arrival. Poor breakfast quality.
Perfect location to explore Salisbury. Good parking on site! Good on-site restaurant and very helpful, courteous bar staff.
Although the continental breakfast was very good, the cooked English breakfast lacked quality. There were no reservable parking spaces for blue badge holders.
Air con. Good size room. Comfy bed. Good size bathroom.
Reception girl made no conversation when booking in making us feel less than welcome. Very poor pornstar martini cocktail with no passion fruit on top and no prosecco shot and non comunitive bar boy, we had one drink and left.
Quiet room. Great breakfast
Quality of food in bistro at dinner
The staff were all outstanding!! Really cant fault this hotel at all.
Comfortable room; particularly in a more traditional hotel in the heatwave. Very helpful staff. Breakfast choice limited and disappointing for a hotel charging £259 a night - as is a £10 fee to park, with no car-charging facility.
Breakfast good plates cold.
Parking charges were not explained on arrival. Could have parked in adjacent street for free . No bedside table on one side of bed.
Location - 5 mins walk from town centre. Staff were exceptional, very helpful and polite. Room was clean, spacious and bed was comfortable. It was also very quiet. Car parking on site. Great value for money.
WE DIDN'T STAY AT THE HOTEL - HOTEL CANCELLED OUR ROOM
I didn’t stay in the hotel. Booked on Booking.com and was just about to leave when the hotel called and cancelled my booking as they said there were no rooms available. However, at such a stressful time I then had to chase them to cancel my booking on Booking.com otherwise I was liable to pay a cancellation charge. This would be annoying for most people but was worse for us as my husband’s much loved uncle had died suddenly just a few hours before booking - we needed a room for the night so that we could go and support my husband’s aunt and deal with the funeral directors who were collecting the body. The hotel knew this as I had spoken to them prior to making the booking and I think their treatment of us is pretty appalling. I didn’t like being treated like this when the hotel knew that we had been bereaved just hours prior to trying to making the booking.
Everything
We had the same menu for lunch and dinner throughout our stay - maybe the mains could change for variety
Really great location. Modern and clean. Great size of room and air conditioning which was much needed! Lovely breakfast as well and a nice terrace to have drinks on. Staff were very helpful also.
No boiled eggs at breakfast but that is literally it!
Location bar restaurant
The rooms were less than good. V clean but knackered furniture although comfy bed. I could have had better at a premier inn for half the money.
Perfect location to what we needed, clean and tidy, bedroom spacious and bed very comfortable. Nice ambiance. Excellent pizza .
Perception of a shortage of some facilities, I.e. only one coffee pod in room (Cappuccino) I only drink Americano black and advised no more available, shortage of wine- no pink blush, and only a small glass of Sauvignon Blanc left late evening
Moderno e limpo, confortável e muito agradável
Ficamos em quarto para cadeira de rodas sem necessidade e a casa de banho era adaptada e o lavatório muito pequeno
Friendly and helpful staff; air conditioning on hottest night ever in UK !
Car parking charges not being included in room price.
The bedroom and bathroom was just lovely and was spotlessly clean. The rooms had air conditioning which was very welcome during this incredibly hot period. We loved that we had bath sheets not bath towels and they were very soft and fluffy. The rooms were very nicely decorated.
The reception rooms such as the bar were unbearably hot without any air conditioning and it was just impossible to stay in there for any amount of time. The breakfast room was narrow and a bit on the cramped side and I don’t think the breakfast was as good as many other hotels offer. I thought it was expensive for what you get. Something that really bugs me is the stinginess with the tea, coffee and milk supplies only two tea bags and two coffees! Fair enough you could get more if you went to reception and asked but who wants to do that? For a hotel charging £194 per night without breakfast this was poor.
Air conditioner com wonderful. Staff helpful
We had two fans and a fridge. It was hot this week and Brits don't do AC.
Parking was tight when they had a "day meeting" aka conference.
The staff at Milford Hall were exceptional! They made the trip worthwhile. I stayed here for a week for a course. Angie in particular was incredible. She went out of her way to provide the best customer service i have ever had and i am a customer service manager myself. I will be attending the course again here in 3 years time and will recommend anyone to this hotel. Only negatives were the pillows. I had to use 4 just for me and they just evaporated in to nothing. I ended up using the back of the little sofa with the 4 pillows. Next time i will bring my own. The air con also didn't work. Again, the staff will be the reason i return and recommend.
Comfortable room and facilities
Car park charge Poor buffet breakfast for the price
No hot water
Location, rooms were well decorated and very clean, breakfast had a good choice of food
Dinner menu somewhat limited
Location lovely. Declined staying for breakfast
The room described as PREMIUM KING ROOM which it was NOT. Overlooked by the upstairs bedrooms in the private building next door. To gain privacy we had to close the curtains and put the lights on DAYTIME!! The bed was higher at the foot end than the head , sloped. The “ Welcome” tray consisted of one tea bag a couple of coffee sachets and a solitary biscuit. The parking fee of £10 was on top of the room price. The privately owned car park should not include residents it should be reflected in the room price. The very helpful and embarrassed check out lady suggested we email “Adrian” the manager which we did the next day but there’s been no response which is of no surprise. The weekend stay was to have been the icing on the cake when we visited to celebrate our grandsons awards for sport ceremony nearby. Such a shame.
The rooms were comfortable, and clean. The daily breakfasts were well balance and delicious, the reception staff and management were friendly and very professional .We would heartily recommend to friends and family
Nothing
Good breakfast
Prefer fresh tea and coffee- not out of a machine
Comfy and clean, good breakfast
Parking is expensive, even at guest rates. More transparency on this would be good.
Beautiful hotel. The newly refurbished rooms were bright and welcoming.
Could have done with a couple more sachets of tea/coffee/milk in the room.
Breakfast was excellent
Shower took a long time to run warm
Lovely Hotel. Did not book breakfast as it was too expensive, but having a noisy room + very poor teamaking facilities, we were offered a complimentary breakfast, which was appreciated
Awful noise at 7 am from another room Only 2 teabags supplied - no biscuits - no bin liners
La gentillesse du personnel , la situation geographique ,
Un manque d eau chaude mais le personnel s est excusé , donc cela montre un respect énorme de la clientèle.Merci.
Clean quiet great location
The room was pretty and very roomy lovely big TV on the wall large walk in shower I will say beautiful place and convenient for the town such a shame. More Date
Really disappointed the room was so hot we could not turn the temperature down (no thermostat) told a fan was in the room for our use, king size bed but really lumpy and not comfortable at all only got 3 hours sleep so could not wait to leave, there was a dead button hole left in the drawer in the bathroom, only 1 breakfast tea bag 2 x cappuccino pods with the coffee machine so decided to make them well when I put it into the machine and started to make it they had gone off and it stunk the whole room out of rotted milk it was putrid. Breakfast was only lukewarm and a lot was not there. I did tell the staff a couple of times, when we were leaving I told the young lady behind the desk she said sorry about that and your parking will be £10 for the 24 hours I paid and left. 09/06/2026
Stayed here on 09/06/26 really disappointed the room was so hot we could not turn the temperature down (no thermostat) told a fan was in the room for our use, there was a dead button hole left in the drawer in the bathroom, only 1 breakfast tea bag 2 x cappuccino pods with the coffee machine so decided to make them well when I put it into the machine and started to make it they had gone off and it stunk the whole room out of rotted milk it was putrid. Breakfast was only lukewarm and a lot was not there, I did complain at the hotel and when we were leaving the young lady said sorry about that and your parking will be £10 for the 24 hours I paid and left. I don’t feel I can recommend as attention to detail and the things that make your stay pleasurable just not done basic housekeeping poor, I will say beautiful place lovely rooms and convenient for the town such a shame.
Hotel was ideal for visiting Salisbury. The hotel was clean and the bedrooms spacious and relaxing. Did not eat in the hotel other than toast for breakfast. The lady Angie who was on duty for breakfast and in the morning was very helpful, cheery and pleasant.
Felt that the reception staff had no personality or friendliness - could learn from Angie!
Clean and well appointed in room.
Plumbing was noisy when guests used showers in the room I was in
Location close to town Restaurant & bar on site- lovely food Friendly helpful accommodating staff Car parking on site Breakfast included
Decor a bit outdated
Breakfast was good, there were a lot of options with juice, cereals and toppings. The room was lovely and felt new and stylish
There was a big group of golfers ahead of my husband so there wasn’t a lot left on the hot buffet and it only got stocked up when we’re were leaving. The shower pressure wasn’t very high.
Die Qualität des Abendessens war überschaubar, was schon alles sagt.Leider waren die Zimmer auch sehr hellhörig. Alles in allem hat uns das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht überzeugt.
Breakfast plentiful and nicely cooked
Didn't expect to pay for parking
I like that the staff were very friendly and professional!
The ventilation in the bathroom was not working!
Clean throughout, fresh and attractive, the staff very responsive.
A little too far from the city center, and the food was good enough but not great.
Beautiful, spacious and clean . The mugs in the bedroom were a decent size.
It was lovely. A couple of constructive criticisms: There should be a bar to hold onto for balance and safety in the spacious walk in shower. Not all guests are young and fit. It would help to have one next to the toilet also.
Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort. Aber das Zimmer war schön, sauber und das Frühstück war reichhaltig!
I stopped at the Milford Hall as a walk in customer for breakfast with my partner. It was a week day and just past 9am and thought maybe we would be too late, however Angie and her team welcomed us. The choice of food was great and every option was full and available. Great quality well cooked food and very reasonably priced for a hotel. Genuine friendly hospitality completed the experience, would recommend and would return.
The rooms are spacious and clean, nice bathroom. And the breakfast was lovely in the morning. Location is fantastic just walking distance to the town.
All ok
Stayed for one night in May. Was lucky to get a space in the car park and leave it there while we walked around Salisbury (before check in time). We checked in about 16.00 but had to wait for a while until a member of staff appeared at the desk - this happened twice. Apart from this all the staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly particularly in the bar. Room was large and very modern and clean. Luckily there was a fan as it was very hot and we couldn’t master the air conditioning - instructions in the room would be helpful. For a four star hotel I would if expected a fridge or a least a bottle of water. Can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t include this in our stay. Very short walk into Salisbury.
Cleanliness and staff good. Location god
Hot breakfast buffet but only cold plates to put it on. Cold buffet cold meats and cheese left open to flies in very hot weather. No water in room and view was a brick wall. Not what we expected for a four star hotel
