Bed was hard but the cushion we're nice.

The room was very tired. Only one bedside lamp ....although a second one brought swiftly on request . Broken lampshade on original lamp replaced when asked. Hairdryer cut out after 10 seconds with long delay before restarting and only then on a low setting....again replaced without question!! But it all added to the generally tired feeling of the room. Not a single hanging hook in the bathroom so nowhere to hang a dressing gown or towel The bath tiles were soft but on the small side. The bed was comfortable. A wardrobe without any doors so functional but everything on display.... reminiscent of a much cheaper chain of motels! No gardens to walk through (only the golf course but as we were not golfers we didn't use)

Room was comfortable. Pillows weren't! Too soft and no choice. Breakfast was delicious-cooked well as requested.

Pillows already mentioned. Tv reception a bit sporadic. One night tv noise from adjoining room was loud and disturbed sleep. Staff did say they would have dealt with it if notified.

I only stayed one night, so I couldn't comment on the facilities other than the room was very clean. The staff were excellent and I recommend the breakfast. I'd definitely go back for a golf weekend.

The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming and genuinely eager to help, which made a real difference. We had three rooms while attending a nearby wedding, and the service was consistently excellent across our group. Dinner in The Pavilion was also a highlight – the food was very good and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

While the hotel was clean, the bedrooms are extremely dated and feel very tired and run down. The bathrooms particularly show their age. Our bathroom had two showers over the bath, but there was a notice advising guests to only use the one connected to the taps due to low water pressure, with refurbishment works apparently planned. This summed up the overall condition of the rooms. The staff deserve great credit, but the standard of the accommodation does not justify the price being charged. The hotel is in need of significant refurbishment to bring it in line with guests’ expectations.

Breakfast was superb and the evening meals were excellent with a good range on offer.

Clean rooms, comfy beds and ideally placed for Stoneleigh Park. Golf course is great. Food is good and we ate in every night.

Corridor to room can be a bit noisy at night/early morning. Wear your ear plugs if a light sleeper.

Had to change room because of no double bed, low ceiling meant bumping head, carpet tired and dirty, corridor and landing carpet poor. Bar in foyer very dark despite being a bright day, Restaurant nothing special and an add on to the foyer. Menu very average. Drinks expensive.

Unfortunately the hottest day of the year and the room was ridiculously hot

It was welcoming and in a peaceful environment. We had all we needed for our overnight stay. Good breakfast on offer.

It was very hot weather, not the fault of the accommodation. The upstairs corridors there was no ventilation. The room was hot although there was a fan.

Our room overlooked an untidy roof and courtyard. Room was too hot, the electric fan didn't help. No lift to upper floor.

Public areas, restaurant and bar, were a good size and the staff were very attentive. Was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant had both an English and Indian menu.

The hotel foyer and bar area was nice and good outdoor space and parking

The room was very basic and there was a used tooth pick/floss stick on the floor by the bed, the TV didn’t work, we could hear people in the room opposite quite loudly and it was boiling hot. We also got charged £50 more than the other people we were with and they had bigger rooms! We didn’t stay in the end. Reception lady was nice but we were very unhappy and went home.

My room had no water for the bath but shower worked.

Jo on Reception gave us an excellent welcome. She went above and beyond to help us booking in. ( my husband is an insulin dependent diabetic and she gave us some helpful options) We'd previously had a phone conversation and she had remembered my request - I was impressed! The room was clean and tidy, the beds were really comfortable and it was Q U I E T ... no doors banging, noise from other guests. Facilities were good.. especially the provision of an iron for smoothing out case wrinkled clothes.

The only thing that let the stay down was the quality of the towels (or lack of it).. The frayed edges and lack of fluffiness rather detracted from the overall feeling of comfort. The pre-shower shower was a bit of a shock. If the personnel cleaning the bathroom could just ensure that the shower head is facing IN to the wall rather than to the door? On turning the shower on I found myself subjected to an unexpected drenching. It may be "Elementary Dear Watson" but it caught me off guartd.

Other than the fact that our room was quite far away from the entrance and walking rather tipsy in heels to our room to get to bed felt like a mission, we loved everything haha!

The entrance sign is not very clear in the dark so we kept missing the entrance and you have to go all the way round so it took us half an hour to just get into the hotel. We arrived and there was a large party/wedding. There was no parking near the hotel. We were then kept away until 1 in the morning as people were making so much noise in the corridor banging screaming shouting.

Ironing board and iron in room and coffee/tea facilities moss that when I travel abroad! Lovely location bar and restaurant very nice and food goo. Receptionist was helpful and happy.
