Absolutely 🤍 Here is your warm, heartfelt, I’ve been coming to Koh Phangan for many years, and I keep booking Sea Garden Resort 2 in Srithanu again and again — because it simply feels like home to me. The highlight is definitely the long infinity pool with the most stunning ocean view. It’s the perfect place to relax, swim, and watch the sunset. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, and the staff is always incredibly kind and friendly. There’s a spacious lobby area to sit and relax, and a lovely air-conditioned bistro where you can work comfortably. The food there is delicious, and it’s a great spot to spend a few hours with your laptop. The resort offers different room categories. The bungalows are beautiful with their own terraces, but I personally love booking one of the stylish rooms — they are spacious, beautifully decorated and large enough to have space for a yoga mat and a comfortable work setup. Housekeeping comes every second day with fresh towels and bed linen, and complimentary drinking water is provided daily. Another big plus: there’s a large parking area for scooters, and the location is very easy to access — directly on the main road, no steep or wild hills to climb. It’s incredibly convenient. Because I’ve stayed here so many times, it truly feels like my home away from home. I always book the same room — and I’m sure I’ll continue coming back for many more years. Tu się mogę rozpisać. 1) Po pierwsze zostaliśmy wprowadzenie w błąd. Hotel podaje rozmiar pokoju na 66m2 na bookingu a w rzeczywistości to zaledwie 30m2. To istotne dla 4 osobowej rodziny. Chcieliśmy zmiany pokoju albo zwrotu części kosztów ale hotel miał nas w nosie a potem ścigał nas za stłuczoną szklankę… 2) prywatna plaża a raczej jej całkowity brak - kamienie/gruz i sterta materiału do budowy na środku. 3) w basenie odstające lampy i kable na wierzchu ale to Tajlandia więc mamy z tym luz. 4) remont w trakcie - od wczesnych godzin porannych hałas wiertarek, młotków itp. Fajnie byłoby wiedzieć wcześniej, że w tym terminie obok naszego domku będzie takie coś. Relaks niestety tylko poza hotelem. 5) brak ciszy nocnej na terenie hotelu, recepcja zamknięta od 22 do rana. A na terenie hotelu impreza noc w noc. Kto ma dzieci ten wie co znaczy niewyspane dziecko następnego dnia. Nie mówię o nas. Wszelkie uwagi hotel miał w nosie. 6) nie otrzymaliśmy dodatkowej kołdry dla dziecka o którą prosiliśmy. 7) może głupie ale jednak - 3 wody na 4 osoby i jeden papier toaletowy. Raz poprosiłem o jeden extra to mnie olali. Wziąłem sobie z publicznej toalety gdy nam zabrakło. 8) obsługa pracująca za karę, zero tajskiego uśmiechu, uczynności, tylko formalności i koniec. 9) hotel martwy, nic się nie dzieje, restauracja pusta, w ciągu dnia więcej obsługi niż gości, czuliśmy się obserwowani. 10) śniadania masakra a cena kosmos - nie wiem jak można schrzanić śniadanie w Tajlandii gdzie oni są mistrzami jedzenia… 11) pokoje to ciemna nora, nieszczelna ale to normalne w Tajlandii. Na ciepła wodę czeka się kilka minut. Jak się nie włączy klimatyzacji to straszny zapach stęchlizny. 12) Sprzatanie raz na 3 dni w pokoju uważam za spory minus.

Good location near all the center beaches.

There were constant renovations near the pool and around the rooms, to the point that it seriously disrupted a pleasant stay. The hotel was not clean and not properly maintained. The staff made no real effort to help and did little beyond handing over the room key.

The property was dirty we originally booked in for 3 nights and only stayed 1 as the property was so poor. The pool was filthy and you could not swim in it with the slime on the bottom and algae floating over the top. The hotel van that picked us up was dirty and marked our clothes with dirt. The property is located on a hill and to get to the bungalows you have to walk down step hill with very poor lighting so not suitable for anyone with injuries. We are now trying to get a refund for the 2 extra night paid for but not used. In my option grossly overpriced for the facility would NOT rebook

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The service was extremely poor — staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, and it often felt like guests were an inconvenience rather than a priority. The room was not properly cleaned, and basic requests took far too long to be addressed, if at all. I would not recommend this place and definitely won’t be returning.

hotel room was dark and small they make the pictures look a lot better than it is. was expecting a balcony but got some chairs outside of the room right infront of the street and staff were rude and moody especially at reception. They only cleaned our room once in our 6 day stay

Sadly lost money at this resort as it rained so heavy our visit we had to take our losses and cut it short.

If you renting a bike its the best place to be , the staff are amazing especially chang from the pool bar , everyone kind amazing pool view at sunset I recommend it wasabi restaurant next to it is a must visit

I had cockroaches in the room. There is a climb to get out of the room (especially terrible when you carry a luggage and the way is not paved) It's very dark to get to the room that you need to open a flashlight to see the way and open the room. The shower head is very small, barely wash anything, which is sad because the shower itself is beautiful and big. The bad mattress was extremely hard. For me, it was painful to sleep on

This place was not a nice place to stay - it might be better in their bungalows, but the building facing the street is horrible. There is so much noise coming from the street that it is impossible to sleep at night, and the next-door room is only separated by thin door so lots of noise from there also. All staff leave the place around 20.00 so it is not possible to buy anything from the bar, and the place just feels completely deserted. Other than a bar/restaurant across the street nothing around, so not great location either! And the room was dirty and had 100 mosquitoes in it when I arrived.

Well it had a lovely view but thats about the only thing it had that was advertised, the room itself was smaller than the one advertised, it was not very well cleaned and things were broken in the bathroom , so extremely over priced and not what it said on the tin !!!

The staff was super kind and helpful. I requested a number of small things and everything was taken care off. Beautiful swimming pool. At the end, I needed to adapt my checkout time, and all was done accordingly. They also got me a taxi to move my luggage to another hotel.

Beautiful setting perched on the hill overlooking the sea. The villa on first impression was exceptional. The Tom yum soup and coffee was also very nice. Staff were friendly

I realise it is on a beautiful jungle island on the beach, it was not my first time on the island, but the amount of ants and bugs in that villa was too much for me. You get less bugs in a simple wooden bungalow with no air con elsewhere on the island. I was covering myself in anti bug cream before bed every night but waking up covered in what I think were ant bites, maybe bed bugs? Who knows but it was not pleasant and made the stay uncomfortable. Considering how nice the villa is, was not expecting that. Better off in a wooden shack, cheaper. Also there were no laundry facilities- even the simplest bungalow resorts on the island have laundry. The place seemed up market but no laundry??

The sunset views were stunning The sea view villa was perfectly situated with a hammock positioned to really enjoy the sunset. The villa also afforded absolute privacy. The pool was very nice The room was well equipped, if a little dated. Staff were helpful and accommodating

Because of the limited english skills of the crew I had really bad experience. Unfortunately, they act like they fully understand you but then you only realize it’s not the case.They do it with 100% good intention :( I’m really sorry I was almost missing my boat because the taxi they ordered for me left me in a wrong place. I had only 10 minutes to find a new cab with limited cash. Such an anxiety, suca a disaster.

I think the customer service could improve. I felt it was hard to organise extra towels for a child despite letting the reception know. When I asked for help I was told to speak to the boss. I believe staff member can ask the boss on clients behalf. The air-conditioning was noisy, the sink was blocked

Front room next time…

I enjoyed the pool, which offered a fantastic view, and the staff were lovely, as was the food served there.

With four people in the Superior Family Room, it felt like a motel situated next to a noisy road and was very cramped. One mattress was broken and all in bad shape, and although we requested a solution at the reception, nothing was done. With only a locked door separating our room from the neighboring one, we could hear every conversation, fart, alarm, from our neighbors. I wouldn't recommend staying in rooms adjacent to the busy street.

Avoid this place - we checked out as soon as we checked in. The hotel looks abandoned with dirt and rubbish around the pool, the pool doesn't look like it has been cleaned in years. Staff just sit around on their phones. We booked the Deluxe Seaview Villa, again it hadn't been cleaned properly for years, very old and worn. The day bed was still dirty from the previous guests. Nothing looks like the photos, the photos must still be from when it first opened years ago. It's a huge shame because this place has so much potential, the views are incredible and it's a good location near secret beach and there are some great restaurants nearby. The way we see it, the hotel has 2 choices - 1) seriously invest in deep cleaning and maintenance, or 2) drop prices to reflect the poor state of the hotel. This place isn't worth more than £30/€35/1300 bhat per night.

Terrible receptionist. 0 effort to help you with anything and seems like they don’t speak English and don’t even seem to try to understand or at least give u a smile. Cockroaches in the room. It seemed like they didn’t care when we told them and no discount was given. No bed lamps. Asked for towels - came 10 hours later. Electricity went out during the morning and day, and in general the lights kept flickering during the whole stay. You need a scooter if you stay here.

Looking a bit tired now, beds were rock hard. Aircon was noisy, asked them to fix and they did but in doing so noticed aircon hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The whole place needs maintenance. Food was ok, better on the Island. The view was amazing though and location ok to. You need a Bike.

- Shower room, the water runs very slowly. - The staff should be more enthusiastic because I asked for a tower since 9am and when im back around 6pm i didn’t got my tower yet and have to go back for asking again. The place is very nice but a bit old so it should be more clear and more comfortable.

Absolutely nothing about this place is worth recommending. Manager lady that runs this place is so unkind and not helpful. We have never experienced such horrible stay until this booking.

Our room was dirty, smelly, the toilet was in such condition that we could not breath while entering the bathroom. Place was noisy cause it’s located close to the street and there is no isolation- it felt like sleeping at the main road where loud scooters pass by all the time. Pool area was dirty, tables and chairs never cleaned, sticky and full of insects. The pool was never cleaned with lots of dirt, hair and dead insects swimming around. When we said that this is not the quality that is acceptable lady manager said that we SHOULD UPGRADE with paying more to a better room… she was not replying to what we were saying, asking for. She was arrogant and absolutely not willing to show any trace of “customer service”, support.. really sad experience.

the staff was generally unavailable or unhelpful throughout. The bell boys were great with helping iwth our luggage etc but the front desk was just a real disappointment and we understand it was a big holiday on day 2, but they gave us zero info about almost anything during check in.

The oceanview pool was very lovely, the food was very nice and the gentleman serving us food and drinks at the pool was great!

If we had a liveable room this place would have a nice vibe, but our room was riddled with mold and the smell that mold produces, It was unbearable and when we approached the ladies at the front desk they very rudely and bluntly stated if we wanted to change rooms we needed to pay for our upgrade, then just ignored us as if we weren't there. We are not fussy people at all, happily staying in hostels etc but this room was not sleepable, awful springy bed and the stench. Luckily we were only staying one night or we would have asked for our money back. We stayed in the standard double room so i would suggest not booking that room :)

Excellent and friendly staff. They are always to help us with anything. The view from the swimming pool is spectacular. parking for motorbikes, delicious food, co-working space, the hotel is located near the Secret beach.

Dirty bed and pilow sheets, stainy towels, dirty and stainy bathroom and smell of mold in whole room. The room was too dark, with gray walls, bad ligthing and small window which looks at the other gray wall. Also, its not allowed to throw a toilet paper in a toilet seat, you have to throw it in trash can without coverlid. Disgusting!

The room that I got hadn't any air in it, it was damp as fuck, and hard to breathe, like some moldy-wet-whatever. I told management about this, they offered to cancel the booking - one day after the full-moon party when the whole island is booked. Helps a lot. Then they sent cleaner because the air vents were dusty as hell, even cleaner after entering the room agreed that it was super hard to breathe due to that rotten-wet-thickness in the air, but they told me I'd get another room the next day. The next day I asked about another room, and I get the room next to mine, with the same problem. Management told me I could pay extra and get an upgrade. PAY EXTRA FOR NORMAL BREATHABLE AIR - sounds like a great deal. Then they offered me free cancelation (of course I have to pay for the night I stayed) and after 18h (I'm working remotely) in that room I agreed. But the process again was super complicated, I was made to call the booking, deal with their support, etc, etc. In short, the best way to sum up the staff's attitude was, I quote, "I understand you are angry about air, but it's this room. You paid for this room you have to stay here." Also, room was on the street side with zero sound isolation.

It was up a large hill, the room was very dated and needed modernising. Large gap under the front door, no balcony. Not worth the money, wouldn't stay again.

relatively remote if that’s your thing. beautiful pool and helpful staff. however, it was clear they’re understaffed at the moment.

we booked a standard room and it was fine however, it was WAY over priced. our friends stayed in a sea view room which was extremely beautiful and far superior and only 250baht more expensive per night. We went for the full moon party. Taxi’s are VERY expensive on Koh phangan and charge per person. This hotel is remote and charges add up. The hotel charged us for getting glow paint on their towels, we were not aware that the paint damaged the towels so be warned they will charge you. we were fine to pay however, a warning at check in would have been considerate and we could have avoided the surcharge.

Housekeeping is only upon request, some of the rooms are facing the road with no view and poor daylight (so we paid extra to upgrade to villa) the restaurant/pool bar are closed most of the time
