Great hotel. Very nice staff, always available and listening. Loved the ice bath and sauna nights they arrange in the hotel. Amazing price per value.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Hill Resort. Our apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. The entire property is beautifully maintained and offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. What truly made this resort special for us, however, was the team. Rarely have we encountered such warm, friendly, and attentive staff. We never felt like just another guest. Instead, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The shuttle service to the beach and the 7-Eleven was very helpful and always nice. It was extremely reliable, convenient, and made getting around effortless. A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We would return without hesitation! ❤️

אהבנו את הצוות המקסים שתמיד עזר ונתן מעצמו, יש שאטלים עד השעה 17 וזה עזר לנו מאוד. למרות שהמלון על גבעה וקצת מרוחק מהכל השאטלים עזרו. הבריכה מדהימה, האוכל טעים וזול ומגוון רחב. החדר גדול ומואר (לבחור נוף לים חובה)

הוא מעט מרוחק מהים הוא על גבעה אבל זאת עדין אחלה בחירה מקבלים תמורה גבוהה למחיר.

Good team very nice people

Clean spacious rooms with beautiful views of secret beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food with a large variety of things to choose between. The hotel offer a shuttle to a couple of places because it is on a very steep hill, which then affords its incredible views. I did walk and it was close to many bars, restaurants and shops.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and enjoyed every moment. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always quick to respond to any request. The sea views are absolutely breathtaking, whether from the room, the restaurant, or the pool area. The beds were extremely spacious and incredibly comfortable, making for a perfect night’s sleep. Service throughout our stay was excellent, and the fully air-conditioned fitness studio was a fantastic extra. We truly enjoyed our time here and would be very happy to return.

We stayed in the penthouse that had 3 large rooms, 3 bathrooms and a very nice living room, kitchen and terrasse. A direct view on the sea facing Ang Thon national park in the far. Wonderful sunsets every night. The pool was also very pleasant, facing the sea through the forest. It was really a very peaceful stay. The beaches nearby were ver beautiful as well. The hotel arranged a private island tour for us. The breakfast and the garden where it stays are just wonderful. A lot of care from the personnel. The hotel has a shuttle to reach the beaches that was also very practical.

Nothing can be said really because the experience was wonderful. The only thing to mention is that if one misses the shuttle, then taxis to get there uphill are unreasonably expensive in particular at night.

Cadre calme et avec beaucoup de verdure. Une vue sur mer incroyable. La formule petit déjeuner qui comprenait les boissons et que nous complétions avec des plats qui étaient très bons. Piscine à débordement avec vue sur mer. Chambres spacieuses (la vue sur mer mérite largement le coût supplémentaire).

L'hôtel n'est pas juste à côté de la mer. Il faut prendre une navette qui est mise à disposition par l'hôtel pour s'y rendre ce qui n'est pas très compliqué. Par contre, attention aux rochers dans la mer.

La navette gratuite pour descendre à la plage de secret beach et au 7-Eleven est très pratique quand on est pas véhiculé. Le personnel est très réactif. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. La piscine est très agréable.

L’hôtel est grand avec plusieurs bâtiments ce n’est donc pas très « chaleureux ».

Odeur tres désagréable au niveau de la piscine. Le sauna et le hamam ne sont ouverts que deux jours par semaine. La salle de sport n’ouvre qu’à 9h le matin.

Vue incroyable et équipe très réactive et à l écoute. Nous avons eu un souci de chambre et la solution a été trouvé immédiatement. L équipe est top .

Situé en haut d une colline avec le shuttle dispo sur de 9h à 17h ( avec resa au moins 20 mn avant ) donc souvent on rentre à pieds . Situé au pieds de gros poteaux électriques c est dommage. Pas de service laundry donc déposer son linge dans le bourg.

It’s a bit dated and old

This hotel is a great surprise! Super friendly staff, amazing view, good food and nice quiet pool. If you really want to treat yourself or your loved ones schedule a massage with Noi - it was the BEST treatment I had ever! They also have ice bath, saunas, yoga classes, a gym, and shuttle services! The staff will go far and beyond anything you ask, if you just ask.

It has a lot of stairs everywhere, so not very accessible (but that’s how everything is on this island).

We absolutely love the Sunset Hill Resort ! The location is beautiful in a strategic position, not too far from the beaches and the main centre. The resort is very quiet and clean and the team members are very friendly and professional! We wanted to thank everyone but especially Dee Dee who work at the reception because she was absolutely amazing and she was looking after us all the time!

The service, especially from the manager, Eileen. She was very service-oriented and caring. She manages the place and the staff at a very high level and accommodated every request we had.

מלון יפהפה על צלע הר, משקיף לים, בריכה נחמדה (הגקוזי לא עבד), חדר נהדר וגדול, חדר כושר מצוין, צוות שדואג לכל פרט. החוף הסודי המקסים נמצא במרחק קצר. ההתנהלות בוואטסאפ והמענה מהיר. ארוחת הבוקר משולמת בנפרד והיא בסיסית ומספקת.

בעייתי ללון שם ללא כלי תחבורה. השאטל מוגבל בזמן וחבל כי קשה לעלות, חדר הכושר נהדר אך נפתח מאוחר יחסית (בשעה 9). אין הרבה פעילויות במלון.

Tante zone in fase di cantiere se pur ci avevano avvertiti, una settimana prima del soggiorno(come se fosse una cosa temporanea) in verità mi sono sembrati lavori molto lunghi cosa letta anche in commento dei mesi precedenti . Colazione troppo lenta e non al altezza del prezzo

המלון היה מעולה, עם נוף פתוח לים. הצוות היה מדהים עזר לנו בכל דבר שרצינו במהירות וזמינות מעולה. המיקום של המלון מעולה, נמצא על צלע הר והמלון מוציא שאטלים לפי בקשה לשלוח נקודות מרכזיות ואז אפשר להתנייד במוניות. אנחנו היינו עם ילדים, אז היה לנו נוח לשכור רכב ולהתנייד איתו באי, הצוות של המלון עזר לנו גם עם השכרת הרכב.

The view was nice!

Everything felt a little worn and could benefit from some attention. One set of bed sheets had a visible patch, the towels were quite old, and the kettle had clearly seen better days. The lounge also had an unpleasant smell, which led us to eat elsewhere rather than at the hotel. From an environmental perspective, I would also recommend replacing the single-use plastic bottles of shampoo and shower gel with refillable dispensers. It would reduce plastic waste and create a more modern, sustainable impression.

A bit far from the living part of the island

The staff was exceptionally welcoming and warm, providing top-notch hospitality. The hotel is in an excellent location and offers great value for money. We actually got stuck one night with another hotel we booked at the last minute, and they let us stay at a discounted rate! Highly recommended.

La ubicación es lo único que nos gustó. Además la habitación está muy bien orientada al mar. Cogimos este hotel por eso principalmente, y por que el nombre del mismo y el precio era muy superior a hoteles similares de la zona, y pensamos que podría ser un hotel de calidad superior, pero nos equivocamos.

El hotel tuvo cortes de luz y de agua en más de una ocasión en las 5 noches que estuvimos. Los ruidos de los empleados eran muy contínuos desde primeras horas de la mañana, justo debajo nuestra, al lado de un pequeño parking. Delante de la piscina estaban haciendo obras. Pero lo que más nos sorprendió es el precio comparado con otros hoteles de la zona, que eran similares, ya que este hotel es bastante más caro que el resto, y no muestran calidades y servicios superiores para cobrar estas tarifas. Además no tienen servicio de recogida en el Ferri, y de llevada, cuando en otros hoteles sí disponen de este servicio de manera gratuita con estos precios.

המלון והנוף מהממים , נקיים ושירות אדיב. היו שירותי הסעה לשדרה מהמלון כי המלון על הר גבוה

המיקום טיפה גבוה בהר אבל לפחות יש שירות הסעה לרדת לשדרה מהמלון ולחזור. היו המון מדרגות לחדר וזה טיפה ביאס

מיקום שקט מבחינת המיקום החדר נראה יחסית בסדר גמור וגדול עם מרפסת

1. בריכת הקרח הייתה סגורה-תקראו טוב את התנאים של המלון 2. הבריכה עצמה היתה ללא נוף-הכל שם בשיפוצים. 3. הזרם במקלחת היה חלש 4. היו צרחות באמצע הלילה-המלון טען שהוא הביא לי מס של אבטחה בצ׳ק אין-זה לא היה נכון הם הביאו לי רק אחרי שהתלוננתי בבוקר 5. הם מנקים חדרים של אורחים רק אח״צ ערב- קודם נותנים דגש לחדרים חדשים של לקוחות חדשים. 6. באחד הבקרים לא היה חשמל ולא זרמו מים כשהייתי באמצע מקלחת 7. כשדיברתי עם המלון לאיזשהו פיצוי סירבו בתוקף

נוף מטורף נמצא על הר, הגישה בעייתית, אבל יש שאטל מהשעה 9 בבוקר עד 5 אחה״צ בלבד, רק ל 7 eleven ולסיקרט ביץ. בית חב״ד 20 דקות הליכה, אבל ההליכה לשם בכביש צר מאובק ורעוע- אין מדרכות .

עבורי האוכל לא היה משהו ולקח המון זמן עד שהכינו לי את המנה . צריכים לרענן את המגבות והמצעים

Das ganze Resort ist ein Traum, ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen. Besonderes der Service ist hervorragend, noch nie so etwas erlebt!

The staff was very nice and the pool was beautiful; the coffee in the morning was fantastic. We even got a complimentary room upgrade!

We slept right above the gym and constantly heard plates being dropped hard, and our room shook a little bit. Also, we really didn't like the construction at the hotel, especially in the pool area. They are building in front of the infinity pool, which obstructed our view from the swimming pool.

Staff were really friendly and helpful

We hadden een geweldige kamer met uitzicht op zee. De kamer was erg schoon. Iedere dag kregen we schone handdoeken. Het bed lag goed ondersteunend. Het personeel staat snel paraat als je hen nodig hebt en is zeer vriendelijk.

Ergens naartoe lopen is niet fijn met alle bergen. Om ergens te komen ben je afhankelijk van het huren van een scooter of gebruik te maken van de gratis shuttle service van het resort. Deze gaat echter maar tot 5 uur ‘s middags en naar beperkt aantal plekken.

This is the 2nd time I stayed at Sunset hill resort and both times it was a delight. Mitzi and the entire team are very welcoming and they are just all superb hosts and excel in customer service. The corner suite with sea view is very spacious and clean, and the view is Amazing. The Team was there to help with and questions or need I had and I felt I have everything I need to have a wonderful vacation. The breakfast food was very tasty and I enjoyed lounging next to the pool. I definitely recommend this hotel and I can wait for the next time 🙏

Super hyggeligt sted og rart personale. Vi fik en dejlig opgradering af værelset da vi ankom. Bakken op til hotellet er lidt stejl men ikke noget man ikke kn gå op ad, derudover giver hotellet gratis shuttle indtil kl 17 hvis man skal i nærliggende 7-Eleven, med for enden af bakken eller på en nærliggende strand, dette synes vi er en super service. Virkelig en en god udsigt udover vandet. Og kan til hver en tid anbefale sushi restauranten wasabi der ligger nede for foden af bakken til hotellet, super lækkert.

Maden i restauranten blev af vores oplevelse dårligere for hver dag vi spiste der.

Fantastic service.

This was our biggest disappointment of our whole 4 months travelling through south east asia. Since we're travelling for a year, we decided to "splurge" and get out of the homestays for a week. So after reading almost all the reviews, I thought this would be perfect. As soon as we got there, I saw it was definitely not what I pictured. Staff was unwelcoming, we didn't really know where the facilities were located. We went down to the pool bar which looked closed, couldn't really figure out if there was a restaurant in the hotel (if there was, we never found it), the room was nice and big with a great sea view though. Pool, restaurant, bar looked very run down and I remember the restaurant where we had our coffee every morning was always dirty and full of crumbs on the sofa and floor. Lots of loud middle eastern tourists around, playing loud music, singing and even shouting at some times - not hotels fault, but that's the type of traveller you'll encounter. Hotel is up a steep hill, motorbike or some form of transport is necessary. They offer free shuttles to beaches, but we didn't end up using it.

Last day there doing works on the street, wasn't the hotels fault, but we ended up with no wifi, AC, working water from 9am to 5pm. So we basically had to spend the whole day out with heavy rains. Also all water was brown after the works, so we couldn't use the shower or brush teeth with the tap water. I know Sunset hill isn't at fault but it was the cherry on top of an already underwhelming experience. Mitzi (i think was guest experience manager) was very nice and refunded the last night to us due to not being able to use the room, but unfortunately we won't be coming back.

El hotel es maravilloso, unas instalaciones estupendas,las habitaciones muy cómodas y el personal encantador, dispuesto a ayudarte siempre que lo necesites. Hay fuentes de agua por todo el hotel. Volveríamos a elegirlo sin duda!

התארחתי ב־Sunset Hill Boutique Resort בקופנגן והייתה לי חוויה נהדרת. החדר היה גדול, נקי, מרווח ומאובזר היטב, עם נוף יפהפה ואווירה רגועה ושלווה. צוות המלון היה אדיב, מקצועי ותמיד זמין לעזור עם חיוך. הבריכה והאזורים הציבוריים מטופחים מאוד ומספקים מקום מושלם להירגע וליהנות מהשקט של האי. המיקום מצוין למי שמחפש חופשה רגועה, קרוב לחופים היפים באזור סריטהאנו ו־Secret Beach. אהבתי במיוחד את האווירה השלווה של המלון, את רמת השירות הגבוהה ואת התחושה שבאמת אכפת לצוות מהאורחים. תודה רבה לצוות המדהים על אירוח נפלא. בהחלט אשמח לחזור שוב בביקור הבא שלי בקופנגן

The staff was extremely friendly, the service fantastic. I have never before stayed in a hotel, in which the Guest Services were so extraordinary. There was a 24-hour-service through WhatsApp - questions were answered super friendly and quickly. During the day, a shuttle service to the beach was offered for free. There was unlimited drinking water service and I even was helped with one of my belongings, which I had forgotten in a hotel in Bangkok. Mrs.Rein, the manager of the hotel, helped me with organizing a individual courier service, so that I could hold it in my hands within 24 hours. That was perfect! Thank you so much :-) I will definitely come back!

The Pool is great, with a great great view The Room views are to Die for. Also we had a nice sauna and ice bath experience there. But really the sunsets are a great. The staff are very lovely and helping - you can always contact them via WhatsApp which is very convenient and they take care of everything. The location is good, its on top of a hill so if you plan to not take a scooter or a car this is a harsh climb and walk but its very quite and far from all the noise.

The rooms are a bit dated. you can feel it in the old design.

Hotel lieg auf dem Berg/Hang und mit der Ecksuit hat mein einen fantastischen 180 Ausblick aufs Meer. Zimmer sind extrem geräumig, gute und saubere Ausstattung, sehr freundliches Personal. Secret Beach in Laufnähe erreichbar, herrlicher Strand und schöne Beach Bar.

Der Poolbereich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bei den Zimmern muss man schauen, dass man eines in einem der Höuser bekommt, welche die bessere Aussicht haben.

The view from the pool is just WOW. Amazing structure, big rooms with balconies, good food from restaurant and breakfast, super helpful staff and shuttle service to the secret beach and city is just great. BTW Secret Beach is just amazingly gorgeous and the best place to be.

Nice staff and amazing pool with a View

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann sich wegen aller Belange an das Personal wenden und auch z.B. einen Roller mieten, Fähren buchen etc. Die Aussicht vom Pool ist fantastisch. Das Gym ist auch recht gut ausgestattet.

Vor allem die Poolanlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Fliesen fehlen und die Anlage mit den Liegen könnte etwas nachgebessert werden. Das Hotelrestaurant hat uns nicht besonders überzeugt, aber in der Nähe gibt es viele weitere Möglichkeiten. Auch der Secret Beach in der Nähe ist schön. Das Hotel ist generell sehr hellhörig. Jedoch ist uns das Personal sehr entgegengekommen, als wir aufgrund von Lärm von den angrenzenden Gästen nicht schlafen konnten.

מסעדה אוכל לא טעים, מגישים יפה מאוד אבל לא היה לי טעים אף מנה שהזמנתי :/. resort מרוחק ומנותק על ההר. יש שאטל שאפשר להשתמש בו ולרדת ל7 אלבן או לחוף למטה אבל רק עד שעה 17:00! בנוסף עליה מאוד חדה לresort ולעשות את זה ברגל זה קשוח מאוד.. זאת אומרת - אתם די מנותקים אם אתם מגיעים לשם וצמודים רק למלון. בכניסה לחדר במסדרון היו מלאאא לטאות - אישית לי זה לא הפריע ולא נכנסו לי לחדר, אבל זה לא כיף ולא נעים ואם אתם מפחדים מחיות האלה לא בטוח עד כמה יהיה לכם כיף שם..(הייתי בחלק של חדרים שהם עם נוף לים)

Exzellent service

Tout était super : la chambre, la piscine avec une vue exceptionnelle, le restaurant, le personnel était très attentif et a fait en sorte que tout se passe pour le mieux. Séjour incroyable dans un endroit incroyable.

Pas vraiment de points négatifs, si ce n'est qu'il faut absolument être à l'aise avec un scooter (125cc) pour se sentir autonome. L'hôtel est perché en haut d'une montée assez raide, mais c'est un prix à payer très raisonnable pour profiter de la vue que l'endroit offre. D'autant plus que pour visiter le reste de l'île c'est clairement la meilleure solution.
