Reviewed Sep 17, 2026It was clean and the location was great I was there for a seminar and the transportation is so close and they gave me a baselcard so all my transportation was free. In addition you can walk to everywhere in just 10 minutes. The staff was very helpful too.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026This worked perfectly for me - it was in a great location, easily accessed on the tram line too. I had day trips planned so it was ideal to be a couple of tram stops away from the main train station, and really close to Germany. Would recommend!

Dal momento che partivo prestissimo al mattino e rientravo tardi la sera per questioni di lavoro, e quindi non potevo usufruire della colazione, p e non potendo parlare con la reception ormai chiusa ho mandato loro una mail per chiedere se fosse possibile avere in camera un bollitore, la sera stessa l'ho trovato sulla scrivania 🫶🤩 posto centralissimo per ogni tipo di linea di tram o autobus. Vicinissimo anche al lungo fiume. Lo consiglio assolutamente
Non aveva il frigobar. Ma se andate in inverno potete mettere tranquillamente le cose sul davanzale della finestra ☺️

For me the mattresses were too soft and some travellers would expect air conditioning.

Das Restaurant im Hotel -ich habe zweimal versucht kurz nach 21 Uhr ( steht nach Angaben bis 23 Uhr geöffnet) ein Glas Wein zu kriegen und die Antwort - wir schließen- bekommen habe, trotz es war noch einige Kunden da. Übrigens, letztes Jahr war ich auch in dem Hotel. Das gleiche Erreignis mit dem Restaurant- sehr unangenehm. Und es gibt keine Möglichkeit ( kein Automat z.B. ) im Hotel, am Abend etwas - Wasser, Cola, Süßigkeiten...zu kriegen,.Wenn Du spät kommst - nichts.

The room was comfortable, and although I booked a single room, I was given a double room, which was a lovely surprise. I only stayed for one night, but I was very happy with everything. Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Super Lage - sowohl wohl Basel SBN als auch Basel Bad einfach per Tram zu erreichen. Mit der BaselCard ist Nahverkehr kostenlos (auch am An- und Abreisetag). Großes Zimmer mit Bett, Schrank, kleiner Tisch und TV. Durch die extreme Hitze die letzten Tage war das Zimmer sehr aufgeheizt (und es war nicht unterm Dach). Ein Ventilator hat etwas Abhilfe schaffen können. Fenster öffnen war auch gute Alternative, aber ab 5 Uhr im der Frühe wird es sehr laut durch die Trams und Autos (Verkehr bei geschlossenen Fenstern nicht zu hören). Super netter Service. Vorab bekommt man relevante Informationen per Mail / Link zum Check in, zur Stadt, Empfehlungen etc.
Der Teppich im Zimmer müsste mal erneuert werden. Sonst aber alles wunderbar!!!

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Personal war super freundlich, Lage und Preis-Leistung top. Sauber und hatte alles was es braucht.
Es war im Dachgeschoss bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen sehr heiss im Zimmer. Ein Ventilator wurde zur Vergügung gestellt und unbedingt gebraucht. Mit offenen Fenstern ist die Strasse an der Lage dann natürlich zu hören. Konnte aber trotzdem gut schlafen. Dachschräge für grössere Leute etwas tricky. Duschbrausenbefestigung sitzt zu locker und dürfte mal festgemacht werden.

La cuna estaba rota y nos pudimos usarla, nos dimos cuenta al llegar al hotel y ya no había nadie en recepción para solucionar el problema.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Everything was superbly clean and the out-of-hours self-check-in was very straightforward. My attic room was much more spacious than I'd imagined it would be. And Chris at reception was extremely friendly and helpful.
I couldn't for the life of me find the kettle in my room (in the attic) - but I could have asked about it and didn't, so I suppose that's my fault!

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Basel. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Man ist in ca. 15 Minuten am Rhein. Momentan ist gerade das Floss-Festival und es spielen ab 21 Uhr verschiedene Bands. Die Straßenbahn fährt genau gegenüber vom Hotel, so dass man auch andere Ziele gut erreichen kann. Das kleine Frühstück (Kaffee, Tee, Croissant) war ein schöner Start in den Tag. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gereinigt und wir hatten für die warme Zeit einen Ventilator im Zimmer. Nochmals vielen Dank für Alles. -- Gesendet mit der GMX Mail App
Wenn die Fenster geöffnet sind, hört man den Straßenlärm. Aber dafür hat man die zentrale Lage.

Zaten karşısında tren istasyonu otobüsler var ve otel size Basel seyahat kartı verdiği için her yere ulaşım mümkün ve bu kartla ücretsiz. Temiz ve konforluydu. Odada vantilatör vardı. Benim odam tek kişilik olduğu için belki küçük ve dardı ama yeterliydi yani. Görevliler çok tatlı ve güler yüzlülerdi. Sabah ücretsiz kahve kruvasan ikramları var. Bence çok hoş bir uygulama. Temiz bir otel wifi iyi çalışıyor.
Fiyatı belki biraz uygun olabilirdi ama fiyatını karşılıyor o konuda sorun yok. Bir de girişte kredi kartı bilgilerimi aldılar. Yani güvenilir bir uygulamadır umarım. İnsan tereddüt ediyor. Sadece herhangi bir sorun olursa diye depozito niyetine aldıklarını söylediler. Kartımdan çekim olmadı ama bunu kart bilgileri almak yerine pos cihazı ile de yapabilirlerdi. Bu uygulamayı sevmedim

While huge, nice and clean, the service was very basic (e.g. a kettle and some tea/ instant coffee would have been nice, or simply a bottle of water).

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Die Stadt Basel ist sehr groß. Es gibt viel zu sehen. Ein Tag reicht nicht, um sich richtig alles anzuschauen. Ich komme wieder. Mit meinem Hotelzimmer war ich höchst zufrieden. Es verdient ein besonderes Lob und Wertschätzung.
Leider waren Coop und Migros schon geschlossen. Man kann günstig in Shops und Läden etwas als Ausgleich für die Supermärkte finden. Es gibt in Basel ein vielfältiges Angebot an Restaurants, Lädelis und Shops. Das Hotel bietet früh ab 8 Uhr an.

Petit détail, je suis arrivé tard dans la nuit, plus de réceptionniste, et le code qui m'a été transmis par e-mail pour avoir accès à ma clé n'était pas le bon. J'ai dû appeler par téléphone afin d'obtenir le bon code. Après différentes vérifications qui ont pris pas mal de temps j'ai obtenu le bon code et pu accéder à la chambre. Mais c'était juste une petite erreur humaine. Rien de grave.

The rooms are not air conditioned, and they can get sweltering hot in summer. Not recommended if outside temperatures exceed your preferred room temperature, really.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Tout était parfait. Exactement ce que je cherchais pour une nuit, près du lieu de mon rendez-vous. Parking à l'extérieur assez facile à trouver en cherchant un peu.
Il ne manquait que la climatisation. Une option qui n'est plus un luxe en période de canicule. L'accès au chambres en demi-paliers n'est pas indiqué sur le site (je ne l'ai pas vu en tout cas), une personne à mobilité réduite ne peut pas avoir accès aux chambres, malgré l'ascenseur.
