Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Man hat sich um uns sehr gut gekümmert. Rund um die Uhr war die Rezeption besetzt. Auch dort haben wir viele Tipps bekommen für Restaurants, Märkte etc. Es gibt einen schönen Innenhof mit Brunnen und die ruhige Musik ist wie Balsam auf der Seele.
Man muss berücksichtigen, dass das Frühstück vor Ort nochmal 5€ pro Person pro Tag kostet.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Location is ideal. Right in the middle of the Medina D’Asilah. The place is extremely well kept, cleaned daily, and beautiful overall. Out of all the great things to highlight from this Riad, the staff is top notch. The best experience I’ve ever had with staff while traveling abroad. We were sick for a couple of days and they not only made themselves available, but went proactively to a nearby pharmacy and bought medicines while asking regularly if we were feeling alright. This is the type of accommodation that makes you feel cared for, and we would 10000% recommend Dar Menara for your Asilah stay.

O quarto é lindo, confortável e muito bem cuidado, e o terraço também é encantador. O atendimento foi excelente do início ao fim. Fizeram de tudo para nos receber da melhor forma possível e ainda nos deram um mapa com várias indicações e sugestões, o que tornou a nossa estadia ainda mais agradável. Todo o ambiente é acolhedor, charmoso e cheio de personalidade. Sentimo-nos muito bem durante toda a estadia e voltaríamos com certeza. Recomendamos!

Les lits étaient trop durs. Malgré le prix élevé, pas de déjeuner inclus. Il faut remettre la clé de sa chambre à chaque fois qu on sort. La Douche … un gros non ! Elle a besoin d être rénovée. Chambres trop petites.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026The location inside the Medina is perfect for exploring the Medina, Fort & Street Art (my favorite). Dar Manara is itself very artistically decorated and makes you feel warm & comfortable. My friend fell in love with it! The staff is exceptionally kind & hospitable and went out of their way to care for my friend who was a little ill during our visit. We really enjoyed our stay at Dar Manara and hope to revisit.
The breakfast can be improved to a full Moroccan breakfast and should be included in the room charges. At least one bottle of drinking water should also be included.

Reviewed Dec 17, 2025Nos gustó todo, una casa preciosa en la misma Medina, con una terraza estupenda, desayuno riquísimo, pero sobre todo la maravillosa atención de Said y el resto del personal, nos sentimos como en nuestra propia casa. Nuestro avión salía muy tarde y pudimos dejar nuestro equipaje allí , estuvimos en un típico y auténtico mercado rural, después de comer y hacer unas compras por la Medina volvimos a descansar un buen rato hasta q nos fuimos al aeropuerto, Said nos llamó un taxi q nos vino a recoger, vamos una maravilla de estancia, no pudimos estar mejor atendidos, un Riad q recomiendo a todo el mundo Mil gracias Said!!!

The room's window was facing the narrow medina street, and it was noisy was up till midnight. The sewage pipes are noisy as well, but it's an old building, not much can be done about it.

Reviewed Jul 27, 2025location is good in terms of being in the Medina. but the Medina's small so almost anywhere is good as long as the B&B is okay. the hotel staff were generally nice although the woman who cleans the rooms ruined a shirt washing it by putting in bleach and didn't bother apologizing or even acknowledging what she done when confronted. on the other hand they did switch me to a bigger room when i said the first room was too small.
the rooms were definitely small. smaller than they appear in the photos. they were very clean. breakfast was nice and not expensive but a bit limited compared to other places I've stayed. Also be aware the beaches that you can walk to from the Medina are not really very useful. they're quite dirty and the water is really rough. we wound up having to spend 250-450 MAD each day to go to one of the beaches a few miles to the South. without a doubt Las cuevas is the beach to go to. the other ones are further and not as clean and don't have as good food on the beach. next time I come to Asilah I will actually stay in the new part of town and just have a car because in the end if you have to take taxis you're going to wind up spending the same or more.

Le personnel très professionnel et compétent se distingue par sa disponibilité et sa serviabilité. Nous y avons passé deux nuits très agréables et si l'occasion se présente nous n'hésiterons pas a y retourner.Je recommande tout particulierement.

Комнаты немного мрачноватые, не хватает освещения. Сантехника в ванной оставляет желать лучшего, всё слегка поюзанное, не мешало бы убраться там почище. Жестковатый матрас.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2025Dar Manera ist very nice guest house or small hotel, the rooms are located around an atrium Our room had windows to the outside. I saw some have windows to the inside atrium. The rooms were nicely furnished with a nice bathroom. No complaints. There is also a marvelous roof terrace with tables and chairs and lounge chairs, which is really very beautiful. We went up here in the evening after dinner and a restaurant. The host was marvelous and incredibly helpful. And breakfast was served at a big table with table linens and a delicious array of pancakes and breads, fresh fruits and cheese and meats, yogurt, cereal, an egg to order, cucumbers, tomatoes. A wonderful breakfast which was included in the price. We will definitely go back here if we return to Asilah.
The mattress was a little too hard for me, but my husband loved it. So no complaint really.
