Comfortable bed, nice decor, helpful and friendly staff

The fridge was too small and leaked water onto our food. There was a tea towel but no detergent to clean the dishes. The parking was not easy.

A little out of town, very comfortable, spacious room in extremely quiet location.

Kitchenette was smaller than expected. Adequate but minimal kitchen amenities. Kettle did not fit under tap to fill with water. Only bathroom to rinse / wash kitchen things and no dishwash liquid provided to help clean any items.

Lovely host and a very comfortable stay. tidy property with gardens and some views.

The location was very close to the wedding venue.

Unfortunatley the matress in the Bali Room was not very comfortable. But the other two rooms we booked the family said were very comfortable.

The room is basically a nice hotel room, but with very thoughtfully provided, tea, coffee, sugar, cookies, a cutting board, forks, knives, spoons and fresh milk. So that small coffee space was very nice to have. The garden surroundings are very nice and it was quiet too. So, much better than a hotel room!

The only problem was finding the place. A new subdivision is being built around it, so google maps had us going around in circles! Once we found it, we enjoyed it!

The bathroom was good and spacious. We enjoyed the quiet outdoor seating area with attractive outlook.

We didn’t realise it hadn’t a more equipped kitchen.

I liked how the host bowed in respect. As a black belt judoka i love that way of communication.

Directions, although i got it. And the sub division makes it hard. If the final street was first in the redirection notification its better than a street direction list. Cause i just looked at the first street and thought ot was there.

Two things - traffic noise from the road below was at times a bit much. Shower pressure is terrible

Very flexible and accommodating to a changed schedule, and courteous as well. I appreciate the accommodation deeply!

Not a big downside, but google maps confusingly sends people to the mailbox, and not to where they need to be which is to go through the new development.

Quiet and good parking.

No internet, toilet seat incorrect position, drains inside smelt, very poor access thru mud and deep puddles. Not worth money paid.

Roomy cottage well-appointed and serviced daily. Lovely outlook - would be especially nice in spring and summer.

Housing development works surrounding it and making access difficult especially at night.

We were warmly welcome. The location suited our needs. The room was comfortable and clean, and roomy!

Beautiful room, really nicely laid out and decorated. The gardens were very peaceful and relaxing. Nicely located on the edge of Cambridge and easy to get into town. Really friendly greeting.

Love the location, the check in details were helpful and the place is well equipped and quiet.

A little hard to find due to subdivision work but we'll worth it!

Car was left absolutely filthy after parking in designated unit car park from an overhead flowering tree.

Tried to call on two occasions but were unsuccessful to discuss our experience where my wife witness a huge black rate scuttle pass our open front door to our unit. I also had my own experience. A huge black rat. Scared the life out of my wife. The main house had a lot of mould on it and appeared unkept.

We had our own space, the garden was beautiful, the room was especially comfortable.

Set in beautiful surroundings, I loved the decor of the Bali Suite. The kitchen amenities were small but functional. The bathroom was spacious, and the place was very clean. The location was perfect for what I needed! Thank you!

The unit was really clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent.

Navigating our way around a new subdivision and roadworks to get to the motel

The Location is fine if you have a car. All the facilities are just stand by no means luxury as is stated.

The size of the room quite small for a suite. The towels were small and thin not luxurious, the bed linen was passable

Easy distance from Cambridge township. Lovely gardens. Interesting and homely decor.

Certainly no longer luxury. Needs a scrub around the outside some decent towels and a coffee plunger. But the real concern is that it requires a 500om drive through the beginnings of a major subdivision. Roads just dirt. Lots of machinery going to be operating.

The address a little out of town allowed us an easy departure the next morning, we were attending a funeral 40 mins away.

Quite a lot! I have photos of the only way to access the Coach House, over an unfinished long driveway, through mud, water and slush, due to a housing development taking place in front of, and surrounding the accommodation. Due to the weather and being Winter, this place should not be accommodating guests. Our car was deep in mud and muddy water. We had fears of becoming stuck!

Lovley cosy accommodation. Host was lovley & upgraded us to self contained cottage. Very considerate.

The cottages all have a lovely landscaped garden each with walks through them. It was really beautiful and on obviously cared for with love.

Great location, out of busy part of town. Comfortable and quiet.

Lovely little unit. Big bathroom and little kitchenette. Doors open up to lovely large grassy area and gardens. Very quiet. Very clean. Excellent location for where we needed to be at a fun run event in Ohaupo following morning. Lovely host.

As much as room was clean and lovely the furniture in it made it feel very crammed in. Tv cabinet and chairs far too large for the room. Too far from shops, cafes etc. Need to drive to these as too far to walk. Finding driveway very difficult as large construction site next to property. We weren't sure we were at the right place. Instructions given in email not very clear. Please note we would still stay here again. These comments are only things we didn't like but it hasn't put us off. From what I can gather from description all units are decorated differently.

Breakfast was not included. Lovely breakfast at the Paddock.onlu stayed for one night. Lovely property and grounds. Very peaceful. Very spotless

Nice roomy accommodation.

Bed was a bit hard for me and the shower head in our cottage does need to be fixed but overall pretty good value for money.

The location was good (near enough to our objective- Hobbiton) but the staff and accommodations were excellent!

The construction at the entrance was less than optimal, but not a problem at all.

So cute! It was plenty spacious, and had a lovely back patio/yard to hang out in. The town was great and had a bunch of fun places to eat. The host was fantastic and super helpful. The the need wasn't the most comfortable but with a topper or would be just fine. I would definitely recommend this place to someone!

Nice well equipped and organised cottage. Very comfortable.

A fair way out of town, so walking from the location was not possible.

Clean and comfy

The location was very private and gardens were very well maintained . Our cottage was very clean and everything was catered for. The coach house & area has a bit of history too. Would definitely stay there again.

The entrance to the property is under new development so a bit bumpy. But only temporary I would say.

There is a new subdivision going in next door. My room was next door to the owners swimming pool that has a noisy pump.

It’s pretty. Peaceful and homely

Very, very clean and modern! Some of the places we have stayed recently have been dirty, out of date and one was dilapidated.

Not a thing. The lady replenished our milk and to each day and even washed our dishes. Very pleasant stay in Cambridge.

Was clean any tidy

We were woken very early on Friday morning to what sounded like kittens crying for the mother, however nothing that would put us off staying again

We weren’t offered breakfast.

We had a lot of trouble finding the place at night: needs a better sign with lighting. The bath towels were thin - not luxurious. Bed and bedding was comfortable. The facility was quite adequate for our needs. Not enough parking space for larger vehicles.

The location was great, slightly rural but not far from anything but quiet,clean and the gardens were beautiful

Comfortable & Clean, lovely surroundings

Sold as Luxury Cottages, was very basic, with nothing special. No chairs to sit at table, no sink to rinse cups and plates had to rinse in bathroom handbasin. Both in late 70’s no hand rail in shower or anywhere to put toiletries other than on the floor. Didn’t like a clear glass door into the cottage, not private at all.
