The hotel itself is rather old, rooms are super tiny, bathrooms are basic and cleanliness is average.

The WiFi didn’t work very well in our room but other than that it was pretty good.

Queremos agradecer especialmente a Ilyas quien nos atendió de maravilla, siempre con mucha amabilidad, profesionalismo y disposición para ayudarnos. اقسم بالله انه اجمل كوخ مر علي ..على الرغم من ذهابي إلى طرابزون مئات المرات لم يحالفني الحظ في العثور على هذا الكوخ والله على مااقول شهيد كان الكوخ بدرجة عالية جدا من النظافة وكأنني في فندق 5 نجوم كانت دورات المياة نظيفة جدا وكان الماء متدفقا على الدرجة التي اختارها ..تتوفر المناديل والمناشف ..الكوخ كبير جدا وفيه بطانيات وسرر اضافية والمنظر خلاب وسط الطبيعة الجميلة وقريب من طرابزون بإمكانك اخذ طعامك وتناوله في الكوخ كما كان المطبخ مجهزا بالكامل وكان الفطور لذيذا جدا اشكر صاحب الكوخ كان محترما ومهذبا وحمل حقائبنا حقا كلمات الشكر لا تكفي وعبارات الثناء لا تفي فله منا كل الشكر وسوف اكرر المجيء إلى هنا باذن الله

Excellent location avoiding uphill walk. Nice view of the square and busy street. Right in front of istiklal street. Very clean and well maintained. Washrooms had good water supply and modern amenities.

The rooms are quite small.

Déçue ! Le seul véritable atout de cet hôtel est son emplacement, qui est excellent. Le personnel est également très gentil, accueillant et serviable. En revanche, les chambres sentaient fortement la cigarette et le petit-déjeuner est vraiment médiocre. Franchement, je ne comprends pas comment cet établissement peut être classé 4 étoiles.

La camera non era dotata di alcuna dotazione particolare (neanche un Vanity kit per intendersi). L'aspiratore in bagno era rotto così che non era possibile eliminare cattivi odori. La colazione era davvero minimale e per niente internazionale. Addirittura, hanno detto che il semplice cappuccino sarebbe stato un extra.

Staff wasn’t clued up. They wanted to empty the mini bar because we said we’re not going to use it, so the guy went up with a plastic bag and empty the tea/coffee condiments. When we asked for coffee and milk, he came back a second time to empty the bar fridge and left coffee and milk for just 1 day.

I had a wonderful stay at CVK Taksim Hotel, and I would like to sincerely thank the entire team for making my visit so enjoyable. The hotel's biggest advantage is its perfect location. As soon as you step outside, you are right on Istiklal Street, surrounded by countless restaurants, cafés, and shops. It is also conveniently located next to the Sofitel Hotel. My room had a beautiful view overlooking Taksim Square, the mosque, and the main street. The view, especially in the evening, was absolutely stunning and one of the best I have experienced in Istanbul. What truly makes this hotel special is the staff. They are genuinely kind, friendly, professional, and welcoming. Throughout my stay, everyone treated me with great respect and warmth. They were always smiling, always asking if I needed anything, and whenever I requested assistance, they responded very quickly. They helped me with every issue I had and made me feel valued as a guest. One gesture that I will never forget happened after I experienced a small issue with my room key. The following day, a member of the hotel staff surprised me by sending a beautiful bouquet of flowers to my room. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that showed how much they truly care about their guests. The cleanliness of the hotel also deserves special praise. Although CVK Taksim is a four-star hotel, I found it cleaner than several five-star hotels I have stayed in before. The housekeeping team was excellent—very polite, respectful, and they cleaned the room thoroughly every day. Breakfast was another highlight of my stay. It is served on the top-floor terrace with breathtaking views over Taksim and Istiklal Street. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety, while the restaurant staff provided attentive and friendly service. Overall, I highly recommend CVK Taksim Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The only negative experience during my stay was with reception staff " Ilyas " at the reception on the day of my check-out. Unlike the rest of the team, he came across as rude and unfriendly, which was disappointing.

The hotel property itself is lovely and in an excellent location, which made exploring the area very convenient.

The housekeeping service was quite disappointing. The room was not maintained to the standard I expected, and I found myself having to make multiple requests for even basic items during my visit.

It's located at the center. It was nice location.

Breakfast was not enough.

Location is excellent. Breakfast was excellent too.

We were booked in economy rooms on 8th floor. Rooms were really dirty. The description on booking.com was not consistent with what we found. There was an offensive smell which I reported to the receptionist on the day of checking in. İnitially I was told that it will be reported to the managers in the morning. He advised no other rooms are available to change to. When I insisted on dealing with this or let us checkout, the receptionist then asked me to pay 250 Euros per room. I finally paid extra to upgrade the room on a different floor. New rooms were much better. On the checkout, the receptionist was too pushy asking for a positive review. I advised that I will be leaving an honest review. Location of the hotel, breakfast and daily housekeeping were excellent.
