Hotel Grand Holiday

The hotel itself is nice (they are even installing an elevator right now!), and the position is just wonderful — you can reach the lake side by foot by walking around 15 mins. The room was as in the pictures. What I liked the most was, however, the staff and Janak, the hotel manager. He was super helpful in organizing my trip to Muktinath, and even when I told him at the end that I had a few issues during my trip, he was kind and receptive, and helped find a solution. I think this was what made then difference during my stay!

It's was a wonderful stay at Hotel Grand Holiday at Pokhara. Specifically Annapurna range view from the bed was super exceptional. The staffs were great and super friendly.

Great location no noise, receptionist the cook and all help were fantastic without a doubt. I was with my infant they boiled food for him also

Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly, always alert to take requests. Food was great too, especially their chicken items like chicken chowmein, boneless chicken. They arranged for all of my important transports without a hassle and helped me to pay for all using my credit card, something rare in Nepal.

Basically nothing to dislike. Maybe they can include complimentary breakfast.

The bathroom was not clean as per my expectation. Light of the room is not enough.The manager made a rent of car heading to muktinath. The service was very unprofessional and unexpected.

Budget friendly

All the staff are very friendly and very supportive. It gives you the feeling that you are really welcome as a person instead of a customer. The breakfast (lot of choices) is the best start of the day.

Finally nothing when you see what you get for the daily price.

Nothing besides the location

It was a mold nightmare and the toilet wouldn't flush. The room was small and the AC was filthy. Avoid at all costs. The front desk was very rude and unprofessional. He lacked communication skills and kept telling us things last minute. When we brought up the room issues to him, he was ignoring us until we showed him pictures of the mold in the room and bathroom. It seemed like he couldn't fully understand English. We ended up moving out ASAP because I was getting sick from the mold.

Ein gut ausgestattetes Hotel mit gutem Service und freundlichem Personal durch die Reihe weg! Jede Frage wurde mit Geduld beantwortet, sehr hilfsbereite Leute. Manches Problem wurde uns hier abgenommen (Währungstausch, Shuttle zum Flughafen, Taxibestellung usw). Das Frühstück war lecker und vollkommen ausreichend. Die Lage in Thamel optimal für Ausflüge! Immer wieder gerne. 😁

Buena ubicación, se puede ir caminando al centro turístico de la ciudad, cerca del lago. El personal atento, la habitación buena y con vista al monte Annapurna y al Fishtail.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel idéalement situé à proximité du Lac Phewa. L’emplacement est parfait pour profiter du lac tout en restant dans un cadre calme. J’ai particulièrement apprécié la vue depuis ma chambre, vraiment superbe et reposante. Le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse, toujours disponible et serviable, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus confortable. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter pour un séjour réussi à Pokhara.

The property was well kept, staff members were extremely helpful. Navarak the hotel manager was very kind and helped us book bus tickets and gave us advice on different activities.

Absolutely loved my stay here! I had the room with mountain view and I enjoyed very much the private terrace. The receptionist and staff are very welcoming and careful, they also organize the excursions and trekkings, which were competitive in price and well planned. I had been accompanied by a very good and professional guide for my trekking. The position is also perfect, 1 min from the lake and the main road.

The staff is extremely friendy and welcoming. There are well-kept plants and flowers in pots everywhere. The roof top terrace commands a fantastic view over the Annapurna range and Machapuchare. There is travel desk in the reception area which is very heloful. Many guests seem to be coming on a regular basis. I loved the Indian Breakfast and was able to see Machapuchare from my bed!

The bus room appliances look old and tatty. The view from the rooftop also includes many unattractive buildings. The photos on booking.com raise unrealstic expectations.

Janak and his team are wonderful, super friendly and happy to help in every way. The location is fantastic, just minutes from the lake and the Main Street of shops. Food is great and very reasonably priced. The room we had was very spacious and well equipped, it served as a haven during the rain. We booked our onward safari in Bardia through them and it’s been absolutely fabulous - so well organised and really made everything effortless for us.

Location and price comfortable

A szállás nagyon jó elhelyezkedésű. Közel a város egyik látványosságához, a tóhoz és a központhoz is. De mivel egy mellékutcában van, a forgalom zaja egyáltalán nem zavarja. Külön tetszett, hogy a teraszunkról a tavat és a Himalája vonulatát is lehetett látni.

Időnként picit zajos volt. Ez nem a szálloda hibája. A vendégek nem tudták csendben becsukni az ajtajukat késő éjjel.

Gillade verkligen läget och lättsamheten. Njöt av takterrassen fantastisk utsikt. Även från rummet. Service och personalen va toppen.

Det va lite problem med Ac men det fanns en takfläkt som gjorde att det funkade ändå.

Super Lage, sehr freundliches Personal.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

It is a beautiful property with so much warmth & hospitality by the staff, Nabaraj hosted us in a very hospitable way, he was very polite, helpful & flexible. We really recommend this place for stay in Pokhara.

Friendliest hotel in Pokhara. Great service from the manager and all staff. Great hotel to prepare or recover after trekking. Located in a quieter part of Lakeside surrounded by high quality restaurants. We will visit again for sure. Rooms have a fantastic view to the Annapurna range.
