The staff here were very helpful, booked our ongoing bus and were very flexible with our breakfast requirements. Very clean room with plenty of light. Very knowledgeable about restaurants and day trips around Pokhara. Very cool people! 😎

We had some misunderstanding regarding breakfast, but that issue was quickly solved by stuff. Actually stuff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is on a side street so it was quieter compared to the main lakeside avenue lined with tourist shops and restaurants and honking vehicles. Ram from the front desk was engaging and the senior manager was accommodating.

We had a great stay at Hotel Orchid. The beds and sheets were incredibly comfortable, and the view from our balcony was a highlight of the stay at hotel orchid. We also really appreciated them letting us check into a room early after our arrival. Highly recommended for the warm hospitality and great location!

Loved how helpful the staff & owner were about extending our stay, holding our luggage while we ventured up into the mountains and then assisting us with accommodations again in our extended stay. One front desk person, Ram showed exceptional hospitality. Look for him, he’s the only man with a great full face of hair, lol.

I can’t say I found anything I didn’t like about this hotel.

Nice location, quiet area but also very close to lake side. Hotel arranged a last minute trekk for me which I enjoyed alot. Nice view of sunrise and fish tail mountain on good weather. Good breakfast too. Helpfull lobby staff.

Rooms were really comfy and quite big which was great, complimentary breakfast was delicious. The staff were really friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. Location was about 10 minutes walk from the the bulk of the restaurants and shops which was great and meant it was quiet at night. Would definitely come back again!

Der Besitzer war extrem hilfsbereit und hat uns ein schönes Zimmer mit Bergblick gegeben. Außerdem hat er uns eine großartige Trekkingtour zum Poon Hill vermittelt. Das überflüssige Gepäck konnten wir 4 Tage kostenfrei im Hotel deponieren. Außerdem besorgte er uns auf Vertrauensbasis Bustickets nach Chitwan. Hier fühlte man sich als Gast jederzeit willkommen. Danke für alles.

The place was clean . It was Spacious we booked a family duplex room with a bathtub.

The staff was majorly concerned about the foreigners (the whites)

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks while working remotely and traveling, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, including arranging my airport transfer and quickly resolving minor issues with the WiFi and air conditioning. The hotel is well-located in a walkable area with plenty of restaurants, shops, and the lake just a short stroll away. It’s also very affordable and comfortable, which made it a great choice for a longer stay. While the WiFi was occasionally intermittent, between that and a local Nepal data plan, I had no trouble staying connected for daily Zoom meetings while working full time. As a woman traveling alone, I truly appreciated how attentive and kind the staff were throughout my stay. They consistently checked in to make sure everything was okay and that I felt safe and supported. I highly recommend this hotel to other travelers looking for a friendly, convenient, and reliable place to stay.

Hotel Orchid is a lovely hotel in a very good location. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help us. Everything was clean and the breakfast was nice. My only complaints are that my laundry took 3 days, which was most of the time we were in Pokhara, and that the owner was looking over my girlfriends shoulder after asking her to give a Google review and was very persuasive in changing her 4 stars to 5. Beyond this, everything at Hotel Orchid was perfect.

Front desk guy named Ramesh if i am not mistaken,he was very polite and very professional to deal with customer. The room was clean and wifi works perfectly 👍 food was good and choices of breakfast were great . I would definitely recommend it to others . VALUE for MONEY. Very close to lake road-with all the bars, diners and clubs. The manager was very accommodating.

The amenities in the room were old and shabby. We had to change to our room twice because the AC wasn't working properly.

I am unsatisfied with the amenities in this accommodation, particularly the malfunctioning air conditioning and the discomfort caused by the bedcover and pillows due to their apparent lack of change. Additionally, I would appreciate more variety in the intercontinental breakfast menu options.

Standard room had a picture of a couch but this is the picture of luxury room. Standard room is very basic for the money. We got an upgrade to topfloor luxury room, which was comfortable and with nice view. Breakfast is included and I liked it. They changed a few dishes each other day. (Yoghurt/ muesli, porridge and each day eggs, fruits and potatoes. Friendly and helpfull staff.
