Pullman Guiyang

Friendly staffs

Nothing

The washing machine room should be opened 24 hours instead of fixed times by auto which created some problems for user.

Cigarettes smell

This will always be my favorite hotel in Guiyang. The service and friendliness is second to none.

The gym is amazing, one of the best I have found in a hotel here in China. The pool is good and quiet. The breakfast was good with a variety for both Chinese and International guests. Location is near the station and metro and the staff are friendly. Rooms are comfortable and the shower is good with good water pressure.

Soundproofing needs to be improved. And the AC was too hot and I wasn't able to turn it off( was as dry as the Sahara I was )

Good location; clean and big room; friendly staff

The central heat makes the room very hot. After 2 days we finally complained and received a cooling fan to counter the heat effect which worked well.

The breakfast staff are amazing they are a good team who are polite and attentive

The Pullman is located in a nice enough area

Still a very good hotel. Comfy bed and big breakfast.

There is a liitle wear and tear in the room and some of the furniture was dirty (nothing that the cleaning staff could have dealt with).

The staff sent me a birthday cake!!

It is so good.. literally the only hotel I book when coming to Guiyang. Clean, excellent service.

Clean and staff super helpful

Beautiful and big rooms. V spacious and well designed bathroom . The bathtub has a TV on the wall. Comfortable big beds.

nothing.

Incredibly convenient location, in the centre of Guiyang. Swimming pool was a nice escape from the heat of Summer. The breakfast was good, plenty of options for foreigners if you didn't fancy a Chinese style breakfast. Check in was easy (although if u dont speak Chinese u gotta hope they have someone who can speak English for u). Room was a good size and was clean( towels, robes etc provided). Bathroom was big and had plenty of toiletry options. The reception area had a few shops if you need anything. Behind the hotel is a wonderful snack food street with so many amazing local and Chinese dishes, would highly recommend that!

If I had to make a suggestion, maybe the rooms are beginning to be a bit dated but not a big issue really.

The location is good cuz we need to travel to the airport the other day

The room is quite old and facilities seem to be old as well. Feel like it’s a bit overpriced compared to what I would expect for this type of room. The staff is ok but there’s always room for improvement…

Hotel location, facilities and services are great. The worst thing is the elevator which doesn’t work as expected. Every time I went upstairs or downstairs, either my choice of floor (button pressed) would be reset, especially after the door opened during my ride.

Most of the staff are ignoring or careless what the customer need, I stayed 6 night without my bed light, I informed the front desk and never got fix, 😢

We loved that this hotel is connected to the mall so there are dining and entertainment options for us. We didn't get to enjoy breakfast because we had to leave early for the airport. We were able to request a packed breakfast that we could take with us. There were also English channels available on the TV. Since the toiletries were in refillable bottles, it was very thoughtful to have a small bottle of lotion available for guests.

The Nespresso machine in our room didn't work.

Let me begin saying I am a hotels.com GOLD member and always read reviews but never leave them. This hotel was SOOO amazing I must let you know. As an American living and traveling often in China I try to always choose 4-5 star hotels for English. This hotel didn't disappoint. The man at the front desk was Jack. He gave me an upgrade and also allowed me a free late checkout. Wonderful service. The breakfast buffet was possibly the best I ever had...even at much more expensive hotels. The waiter Harrison and the waitress Shmiley were always ready to make my cappuccino and even hold the elevator and wish me a good day when leaving. The head chef, Louis Deng, he walked me around to tell me the different foods and which part of China they came from. I didn't get a chance to use the pool or gym on this trip so I can't comment on this. My bathroom was amazing. Huge bathtub with free bath salts. Shower was huge with a massive rain shower at high pressure. I truly give this hotel an 11/10!!! I sadly don't think I will return to Guiyang but if I ever do 100% staying here! Thank you for your wonderful service! =)

Room is clean. Nearby shopping mall

The staffs are not good customers care. Our room access card is being disabled for few times. We extend one night by bookig thru Expedia...We did show our booking confirmation to the staff to contiue for the occupancy. However, when we come back in the mid-night, the access card is disable...we are tired and wait for a while to re-activate our access card....Their reason said...the bookinng thru Expedia didn't arrive to their system...but there is nonsense as we had shown to them....

The bathroom had pee droppings on the floor...

at night, the alley next to hotel sells lots of food..

Best hotel in Guiyang for me. Will return every year on business.

Good location and good service from all the staffs. But bad smell from the toilet bowl.

this hotel is great only 20 min from the airport. the rooms were great and very helpfull staff.

excellent gym and swimming pool. But as of the room, need a really detail work in tidy-up, if you are that kind of pay-attention-to-detail guest. Suspect the Room director doesn't not fully take the role responsibility. Just a personal guess...

Nice

Great location and friendly staff. There was a small issue that I noticed my door was left open when I returned, possibly the cleaner forgot to lock it up.

The wifi in the room did not work. The hotel is next to a shopping mall and there is KTV in the hotel. The lobby is nothing to write home about The rooms are small

The hotel is 3 years old but was not designed to cope with flooding. The generator and all food were stored in the basement so when a big storm hit we had no power, running water, flushing toilets, food, functioning lifts for 3 days. The rest of the city was up and running after one day. Staff were unconcerned about the welfare of guests.

I recently had a terrible experience at this hotel. Hotel management completely disappeared for the first half of a three-day blackout/clean water outage, making zero effort to ensure guests had adequate light, food or clean, safe water to drink or wash with for days. A large group of us guests had to repeatedly request (and then wait long periods of time) for clean, safe water to drink and wash with, as well as water to adequately flush our toilets. This hotel could not help the power and water outage, but their service could have been a million times more efficient, helpful and timely than it was. They failed dismally to serve and protect their guests during a crisis. Further, I was promised a refund for the hotel stay that did not materialize, and that I now have to pursue from abroad.

its a beautiful hotel with beautiful services and amenities.

very nice hotel, a little off the center, but worth the money paid.
