Giardino Sul Duomo

We stayed in the family suite, a 2 bed 2 bath suite. It was spacious, clean and quite at night. The hotel is right in the old town and very walkable to restaurants, bars, the tourist train, and shops. The pool area had many sun loungers both around the pool and in the grassy area with a gorgous view of the valley. We ordered cocktails in the evening from the bar and sat looking over the valley and upper Ragusa. Stunning village and great prices on food and wine. Staff were friendly and assisted with luggage and parking questions. Breakfast was enough to get you started for the day.

La amabilidad del personal, la situación es maravillosa, al lado del Duomo y con unas vistas espléndidas a la ciudad desde el jardín con piscina. 100% céntrico y super tranquilo, un lujo. El desayuno muy bueno y variado con fruta fresca. El acceso al establecimiento es un poco complicado en coche al estar en el casco antiguo. Nos costó un poco llegar, ahora bien es toda una ventaja tener parking. Nos gustó mucho.

Nada, todo perfecto. Lo único tener el cuenta si llegas en coche, que la fantástica ubicación en el casco antiguo es un poco complicada para el acceso en coche, Ahora si, vale la pena!

Once you arrived...you will be super surprised how beautiful the place is...the owner and the staff..really helpful and welcome you with a great smile and service.. The pool and the views are understandable.... You will feel so relaxed in this quiet and serenity place...so peaceful! Breakfast is good with a great choice.. Just 5 mins you will be next the Duomo do San Giorgio! Rooms are big and spacious.... Really recommend it ...a great place in the centre of Ibla'!

The only problem is that there's a lot of steps.... If you have a car..not a problem at all..

Außerhalb der Anlage bietet sich leider ein sehr ernüchterndes Bild: Unmengen an Plastikmüll, Abfallsäcke und Dreck entlang der Straßen und in der Umgebung. Von konsequentem Umweltschutz scheint man hier leider noch weit entfernt zu sein. Es sieht aus wie in manchen Regionen Afrikas – eher ein Drittweltland als ein EU-Land wie Italien. Die Leute sollten sich schämen

Super vue pour un super coucher de soleil avec piscine. Personnel très accueillant et gentil avec des bonnes recommandations, l’hôtel est très bien placé.

De locatie van het hotel is super. In een paar minuten sta je in het centrum van Ragusa Ibla. Restaurantjes en winkeltjes zitten allemaal op loopafstand. Het zwembad en het uitzicht vanaf de ligbedjes is ook geweldig! Ontbijt is heel goed, maar zou wel iets meer variatie in mogen zitten. Wij zouden zeker terugkomen!

Het ontbijt gaat in shifts waardoor je de dag ervoor al moet kiezen in welk uur je gaat eten. Jammer dat je niet gewoon kan kijken wanneer je wakker bent of spontaan je plannen nog kan wijzigen. Er zijn maar een paar tafeltjes buiten, waardoor we soms binnen moesten ontbijten wat jammer is met lekker weer. Klein detail, de douche heeft geen plankje voor shampoo etc, waardoor je alles op de grond moet zetten. Zou snel opgelost kunnen zijn.

An oasis in the sky. Lovely gardens, spacious rooms, nice breakfast. The hosts were gracious and helpful and the pool was delightful.

Absolutely loved it but have to mention the mattresses are terrible and would be great to put some hooks on the bathroom walls..

The accommodations were beautiful and clean. We stayed in a room with direct view and access to the gardens and pool. Excellent location, accommodations and staff. Nicolò and Letizia were fantastic!

Die Lage des Hotels inkl. Pool mit atemberaubender Sicht ist unschlagbar! Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der wunderschönen Altstadt von Ragusa. Die Anfahrt ist etwas spannend für „Non-Locals“ aber machbar. Es geht sehr enge Gässchen nach oben bis an den höchsten Punkt der Altstadt, wobei nicht ausgeschlossen ist, dass einem hier und da mal ein Fahrzeug entgegen kommt. Parken ist begrenzt aber kostenlos möglich an der verkehrsberuhigten Straße direkt vor dem Eingang. Wir hatten keine Probleme einen Parkplatz zu finden. Einer der Mitarbeiter spricht englisch, deutsch und italienisch. Wir haben Empfehlungen für Restaurants in der Umgebung bekommen. Wir empfehlen für den Abend eine Reservierung, da im Zentrum der Altstadt nachts richtig viel los ist :) Das Zimmer ist sauber und top modern!

Rustige plek midden in de mooie stad Mooie ruime kamer met moderne badkamer Top ontbijt , eitjes worden à la minute voor je gemaakt zoals je ze wilt. Verse producten maakten het af. Mooie tuin met verschillende fruitbomen

Denk eraan dat je je auto gewoon op straat moet parkeren, op zich was dat geen probleem 😉

Leider hatten wir auf unserer Rundreise nur eine Nacht geplant. Der Empfang war sehr persönlich, so dass man sich gleich wohl gefühlt hat. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und geschmackvoll in dem alten Gemäuer hergerichtet, der Garten mit Pool wunderschön angelegt und mit herrlichem Blick auf Ragusa. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut, es gab eine Auswahl von allem - Brötchen, Croissants, Käse, Wurst, Marmelade, Müsli, Joghurt, Obst, verschiedenes Gebäck herzaft und süß und es wurde auf Wunsch auch Rührei oder andere Eierspeisen zubereitet. Für uns insgesamt perfekt.

We hadden een gezinsvakantie met 4. Onze kids sliepen in de kamer naast ons met aparte inkom en bad/toilet. Het hotel was perfect: lekker ontbijt, mooi zwembad, rustig, prachtig uitzicht en vlakbij de Ibla van Ragusa waar er heel wat leuke restaurantjes zijn en met zicht op de vallei en de Doom. Je kunt gratis parkeren in de straat. Een aanrader. Goed te combineren met een bezoek aan Modica en Ispica (o.a. Mulino ad Acqua).

The view was fantastic as was the location, 100m from the main church. Driving into it was a little complicated but one you were there it was awesome.

Gelegen in het prachtige centrum van Ibla met een schitterend uitzicht op Ragusa. Vriendelijke en behulpzame Host. Beperkt maar lekker ontbijt. Niet grootschalig waardoor het charmante blijft. Gratis parkeren in de straat voor het gebouw.

Onze kamer was goed maar niet echt gezellig.

If I could give higher than 10 for this hotel I would. Perfectly located in the old town, just minutes from all the major tourist sites, with exceptional views of the surrounding areas. The rooms are well fitted out, ours had two air conditioners which given the temperatures made the room an Oasis. However the standout is the garden and pool area, a tranquil cool retreat in the baroque town.

Everything, nothing to complain about. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Child friendly.. couldn't have it any better.

Abbiamo scelto questa struttura come appoggio durante la nostra gita di quel giorno. La posizione è ottima. Oltre alla vicinanza alla piazza del Duomo, la vista a Ragusa è un sogno. Sopratutto la sera. Il giardino è tranquillissimo! Struttura pulitissima. Nicolò che ci ha accolti è gentilissimo.

no es que no me gustase, pero es algo a mejorar, en mi habitación, me falto alguna silla mas,..eramos tres personas y solo habia una silla, asi como el armario, , que para una estancia larga de dos o tres personas se queda un poco justo de espacio.

Excellent location with stunning views and a lovely, welcoming staff. Parking our 9-passenger van was easy in the university lot just 200 meters away. The pool and garden were perfect after exploring the nearby town. Breakfast was outstanding, with fresh juice, homemade pastries, fruit, and made-to-order eggs.

My parents found walking back and forth to town challenging due to the 40-50 stairs, but the staff gave us a number of a taxi service they could use.

The accommodation in Ragusa was incredible—spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with fresh ingredients and eggs cooked to order exactly how you like them. The staff were exceptional, always polite and eager to help, offering great local insight and recommendations throughout our stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the daily housekeeping service was wonderful. The pool area and surrounding grassed space were fantastic and made a huge difference, especially when travelling with three young children. Having a pool was perfect for cooling off during the day, particularly as the sea is not located in town, and it was also a great place to relax after exploring. The outdoor space provided plenty of room for the children to play and for us to enjoy meals outside together. The Wi-Fi worked well, the main square was only a short walk away, and the restaurant recommendations were excellent. Overall, we could not recommend this accommodation more highly and would happily stay again.

It wasn’t a problem for me, but driving in Ragusa Ibla takes a bit of skill.

The room was very comfortable, the grounds were beautiful and the views were spectacular. We thought the breakfast was excellent as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The parking situation was OK, but assigned parking for guests would be an improvement.

Best place by far in 6 stayed in over 3 weeks in Sicly. Best veiw. Best breakfast. your a fool not to stay here if there is an opening in coming to Ragusa!

Super location in Ragusa Ibla (old town) near to the Duomo. Michel was a Superb host/owner who was friendly, helpful and made us very welcome. Good sized room with comfy bed, hot showers (toiletries included), a fridge, coffee machine and air con. The pool and garden were lovely, offering shade in the heat of the day and a refreshing dip too. We bought drinks at the hotel to drink in the garden and all reasonably priced. Breakfast was in two sittings (8-9 & 9-10) in the breakfast room by the garden or in the outdoor space. Super range of cereals, juices, meat, cheese, yoghurts, jams, bread, homemade cakes and eggs cooked to order. Nice strong coffee was individually brewed for us. A really delicious start to the day. There’s lots to explore in the old town with many cafes and restaurants within easy walk or walk up into Ragusa Superiore to explore the new town & its attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Michel and staff!

Die Lage ist wirklich wunderwar, gleich beim Duoma und kleinen Cafes und Restaurants. Der Ort ist sehr hübsch und gepflegt, wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Auch der Garten ist sehr schön.

Der Pool ist relativ klein, 5x10m, wirklich schwimmen kann man dort nicht, die Fotos wirken viel grösser.

Très bon accueil. Vue magnifique sur la cathédrale (à visiter absolument). La chambre était calme et confortable. Le petit déjeuner complet avec de très bons gâteaux faits maison. A recommander.

Anfahrt und Parksituation sind etwas schwierig. Wandhaken für Jacken und Haken für Badetücher fehlen.

Extraordinary views from the property. The location is exceptional and the availability of parking right at the door was a bonus (note this is mid-May). The drive in/out is achievable with patience. Great breakfast, helpful staff and walking distance to everything.

Die Unterkunft verfügt über eine fantastische Lage mit einem herrlichen Ausblick vom Garten aus. Wir haben haben einen Teil des Nachmittags in den Liegestühlen im Garten verbracht und dort gelesen - Entspannung pur! Die Anfahrt ist etwas "abenteuerlich" mit dem Auto. Die Unterkunft bedient einem aber mit einem guten Plan, so dass es letztlich kein Problem ist. Parkieren kann man unmittelbar vor der Unterkunft im öffentlichen Bereich. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichen.

Wir waren im Familienzimmer, welches wohl über eine Wand an eine Wohnung von Residenten angrenzt. Die waren Abends bis um Mitternacht sehr laut (Kindergeschrei).

It is perfectly situated to walk around Ragusa ilba. The property is beautiful-a stunning view and lovely grounds and a pool! I lead small group tours and will definitely come back here! Michele is a lovely host. My husband and I had a very nice night. They also have a tasty breakfast and great coffee!

Perfect location to walk around in the beautiful part of the town. Great views - although we couldn’t enjoy much the giardino due to the rain. Very nice staff, they really take care of the guests. Good breakfast.

Our rooms were dark (ok also the dark weather didn’t help), although beds were good and we slept very well!

Ciekawie położony hotel z pieknym widokiem z ogrodu na Ragusę. Bardzo dobre śniadanie. Parking przy ulicy, ale nie mieliśmy z tym problemu (pobyt poza sezonem). Bardzo blisko do centrum z restauracjami, kawiarniami, sklepami.

Z przyjemnościa skorzystalibyśmy w pokoju z czajnika do parzenia herbaty (był ekspres do kawy).

De locatie was erg mooi. Met de auto konden we tot het hotel komen (eenvoudig te bereiken dankzij een duidelijke routebeschrijving, de smalle straten waren geen probleem, zelfs niet met onze grote auto), we konden zeer dichtbij parkeren. Het hotel is middenin het oude centrum van Ragusa, waardoor je overal makkelijk heenloopt. De tuin is mooi en echt een rustige plek. De kamer was heel ruim.

De kamer was heel ruim maar er ontbrak een lekkere plek om even te kunnen zitten.

Location was perfect. Very good breakfast with the best scrambled eggs in Sicily.
