Clean and comfortable rooms in a good location. Sanitha and others at the reception and the housekeeper were very helpful and warm. Breakfast prepared by the chef tasted lovely. Our stay was very enjoyable because of the cleanliness and the behaviour of the staff. Looking forward to stay again.

The food and the staff were exceptional.

A fantastic hotel stay! Staff are exceptional ,kind and helpful! Spotlessly clean with a delicious restaurant .Cant recommend highly enough !

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was perfect. The staff very friendly and helpful, many thanks to Sanitha, Christina and Shifa for their warm welcome. The restaurant is one of the best we tried in India. Biju is an excellent chef and is not afraid to share his recipes.

We had a superb stay at Tisha’s Inn. This is our second time and we were not disappointed at all. Very clean and pleasant rooms with all amenities. The staff is always willing to help with requests. Sumptuous breakfast with the staff gently insisting you try everything and rightly so. We had a wedding to attend and Shifa and Sanitha were extremely helpful with my saree draping (an out of the blue request), and I did see them arrange a surprise birthday celebration that morning as well. Situated in a relatively quiet area, yet with quick access to taxis, the place is a perfect mix of old world charm and contemporary aesthetics. Looking forward to my next vacation there!

Where to begin?! We loved every moment of our stay and we wished we could have had Tissa's with us at every other city we stayed in India, thereafter!!! This is an amazing place to stay. They set the bar so very high, it was hard for others to follow. It was the perfect way to be welcomed along our first stop of our big trip to attend our first Indian wedding in Trivandrum. Our stay was made even more exceptional by all the tips and assistance they gave us as we went wedding clothing shopping in Fort Kochi. We really appreciated the extra help. This special little boutique hotel is well decorated, maintained and has a relaxing rooftop pool and outdoor space, but what is so unique is the exceptionally warm, welcoming environment created by this truly caring and friendly team of people. They enhance your whole experience. I have so many thank yous including Sanitha who made me feel at home with her kindness and laughter. Kristina with her warm, helpful and friendly presence. Shifra with her bright and friendly energy. Heno with his calm and relaxed attitude, even at midnight when he so graciously checked us in. And Lakshmi who made me feel so welcomed and calm with the smiles she shared. Also to the young fella, who was often helping Lakshmi, who I regretfully did not officially meet, but I hope to next time. Thank you for your kind smiles and hellos you offered, every time you saw us. You are all such an incredible group of people who make staying at Tissa's so much more than just staying at a gorgeous boutique hotel. Not only is the hotel lovely, but their restaurant's chef, Chef Biju, creates food that is so scrumptious and passionately prepared, we ended up eating all our meals at Tissa's! Enjoying his delicious Kerala cuisine and locally caught fish dishes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amazing!!! Thank you so much to the entire Tissa's team! We appreciate you and miss you! All three of us, myself, my husband and my dad, all hope to come again...for longer!!!

We had an amazing stay at this outstanding boutique hotel, in a charming colonial house. Loved the unique decor with art and antiques. The food is excellent, a top quality chef. The best thing of all is the exceptional staff team . They are all truly lovely people, excell at their jobs and are the friendliest people you could meet. My husband had an accident while we were staying there and hotel staff took us to the hospital, stayed with us late into the night, gave us support and care every step of the way. Over the following days they were like family to us... every single staff member went out of their way to show us care and kindness. We stayed 6 days recuperating and will never forget their kindness. This hotel is unique, beautiful and a joy to stay at.

Tissa's Inn is very well located in Forte Kochi, the rooms are very nice, I had a wonderfull stay and the meals are great ans tasty. Thanks to the staff and Sanhita you are very nice and very helpfull.

Excellent emplacement, personnel aux petits soins pour les petits comme pour les grands. Hôtel bien décoré dans le style local. Une propreté excellente de la chambre et de la salle de bain. La piscine sur le toit est un plus pour tenter de se rafraîchir une fois la nuit tombée. L'hôtel a fait les réservations à notre place pour un spectacle. C'était parfait.

We had a great stay here. Sanitha and her team managed everything exceptionally well and were especially attentive when my wife wasn’t feeling well. This hotel is so close to many of the must see sites in Fort Kochi. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Thank you for a wonderful stay, we had four nights here in January and it was lovely. Reception and all staff were so helpful. Our room was beautifully spacious and clean and the food was superb. It is an easy walk into Fort Cochin and tuc tuc are also readily available. The pool and relaxing area on the roof are a wonderful area at the end of a busy day.

The staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming they took such effort to accommodate guests. The hotel was in a great location a short walk to the main attractions on fort Kochi. The room was comfortable and the Indian breakfast was fabulous.

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights. The staff looked after us so well. The food was the best that we had during our stay in India the chef created meals with local seafood especially for us. Would definately recommend it and stay here again A big thanks to all the staff

Lovely and helpful staff, we appreciated the early check-in. Great indian breakfast every day with a large variety of options, including pancakes etc. The hotel was also nice. Close enough to the touristic areas.

What can we say ….! After only 3 nights we felt part of the family with the lovely 3 ladies who run this gem of a hotel. Beautiful antiques give a peaceful atmosphere adding to the quiet location even with our ground floor room facing the road. Breakfasts were fresh and adapted for when my tum needed gentle. The rooftop pool was airy and refreshing. The room beautifully furnished and spacious. And Sanitha went the extra mile to reunite me down in Marari with my jacket - no fuss, just kindness and I’ll be very grateful when we get back to a cold UK this week - thank you Sanitha

The rooms are immaculate and well appointed, the location is great, but what really made this stay was the staff. Every single staff member was kind and went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. The restaurant is also fantastic, everything we ate was amazing and the food came quickly, we regretted every meal we didn't have at the restaurant. Overall is was a 10/10 experience.

Tissa Inn was an excellent choice to stay at Fort Kochin. The room is very clean, and the food is delicious. The best part of Tissa Inn is the staff. They are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. They suggested many great tours and arranged all transportations for us. They even booked a taxi to pick us up from the airport. We came here for a wedding, and when I need to learn how to wear a saree, the staff were wonderful and even called a seamstress/tailor to come to my room, take my measurement, and make me a blouse within a day and a half to wear with the saree. Highly recommended.

We were warmly greeted upon check-in and given much appreciated assistance with carrying our luggage upstairs to our room. The room was spacious and immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable for a great night’s sleep following a long international flight. We also appreciated that Tissa’s Inn pre-arranged for a taxi transfer upon arrival at Cochin Airport . The breakfast was excellent with western and tasty Kerala options. Tissa’s Inn is very conveniently located walking distance to eating and shopping and the beach .

Over the years, I have stayed at many places in Fort Kochi & Tissa’s Inn is by far the best! The staff are amazing, especially Sanitha. The hotel is spotless clean and the rooms are also immaculate. There are so many choices for breakfast to suit everyone’s needs. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Five stars are not enough for this fabulous Hotel! Thanks to you all for a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed our experience here at Tissa’s Inn. The location is central and easy to either walk or tuktuk around. The rooms were nice, AC works well. The pool was also quite nice and there are loungers to use. The food was really really good, we ate here for both breakfast and dinner and each time we had great meals. Above all though the service was exceptional. Everyone we encountered who worked here was above and beyond friendly and helpful. One of the ladies at the front desk even helped us to book train tickets which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and it is good value for money

The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Fort Kochi and just a short tuck tuk ride away from other attractions. Hotel is comfortable, very keen and attractive. A lovely refuge when you’ve been out in the heat. Swimming pool is small but fine. We were too busy to use it! Breakfast is very good. The staff are wonderful. Good humoured, friendly and always ready to help. We felt like friends when we left.

It was a real treat. - beautifully appointed spaces / rooms - absolutely spotless - breakfast lovely: hot and so fresh - staff a friendly helpful delight - short easy walk into all main attractions Close to Fort and also Jew Town. If you're in doubt - don't be.

We travelled as a young family to Kochi, and this place truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, cosy, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the homemade breakfast. The chef went out of the way to kindly ask about our child’s breakfast preferences for the next day, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious enough for our son to move around comfortably, and throughout our stay we felt very safe, cared for, and at ease. A special mention goes to the domestic helper at the property. She completely exceeded our expectations and brought such a positive, warm energy to the entire space. Her fluency in English and her pleasant, professional manner were truly impressive and made our stay even more comfortable. The team also arranged our travel from Kochi to Guruvayur. The driver was extremely caring and accommodating, ensuring a safe and smooth journey for our family. Overall, it felt less like staying at an accommodation and more like being welcomed into a close family’s home. If we ever visit Kochi again, this will definitely be our first choice — our second home.

Ideal location. A small well run hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast seafood speciality restaurant. we had a comfortable and clean room. It is a cosy nest that feels like home from home. We more than recommend this hotel that offers excellent value for money.

Lovely, clean hotel. The best thing about this place is the service. We arrived late and they very kindly brought the chef back to cook us some dinner. The breakfast staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

We spent few days in Fort Kochi and we stayed at Tissa inn. The room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable. Our host was very nice and helpful to arrange all the tours Food was excellent I would definitely recommend it!

Really lovely small hotel. The team couldn't have been any more friendly and accommodating. Well maintained and great location. Plenty of shade in the rooftop pool area. We only ate breakfast there, due to other commitments but it was excellent. Great value overall. Thanks for a very pleasant couple of days.

I had a wonderful stay at Tissa’s Inn in Fort Kochi. The room was super clean, very cosy, and simply great – I immediately felt comfortable. There was even a fresh lily flower waiting in the room, which was such a lovely touch. All toiletries were provided as well, so I didn’t miss a thing. The breakfast was exceptional. No matter what I asked for, they made sure I got it – especially since I wanted to try South Indian dishes. Everything was prepared with care and tasted amazing. The rooftop pool area is really chilled and perfect for relaxing. They even provide yoga mats if you feel like doing some yoga, which I loved. My biggest thank you goes to Christina and Sanitha. They were absolutely wonderful – always asking if I needed anything and helping me with everything, whether it was finding a tailor, giving directions, or any other request. This hotel is truly special because of these two ladies. Thank you very much – I would definitely come back!

Great location im Fort Kochi only 9 rooms so extremely private with a roof terrace swimming pool The breakfast was great the staff really helpful arranged a Ricksaw driver for a few hours so we could see the sights and you are right in the heart of everything !

The two ladies who manage Tissa's Inn were so friendly and helpful at every turn, and are the best thing about Tissa's. They go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. Whilst not at the five star level, Tissa's is certainly a very attractive and intimate hotel whilst the room itself was very comfortable. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool shortly after our arrival. We had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, a first course of fruit and watermelon juice followed by a delicious masala dosa and a wonderful cup of massage tea. It's a short walk to the shopping precinct so Tissa's was handy from that perspective as well.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Tissa’s Inn. The hotel is furnished with lovely antiques and collectibles, which the owner also sells in their shop in Jew Town. Bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful with the chef coming out to check everyone had enjoyed the food every morning. What makes this hotel above and beyond though is the amazing staff. They were all extremely friendly and helpful and literally couldn’t do enough for you. Would highly recommend.

The staff were wonderful and the chef at the restaurant was amazing. He custom cooked a fabulous meal for my husband that was gluten free and dairy free. We found that was very difficult to get in India.

Tissa’s Inn is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Fort Kochi. With many attractions within walking distance, including churches, market stalls and water metro, it is an ideal place to stay. We loved the antique interiors of the building and the lovely ambience we felt upon entering the foyer. The staff are simply the best and cannot do enough for you, which made us feel at home and very relaxed . The rooms are spotless and cleaned every day and the daily breakfast is a real bonus. The chef is very accommodating and will happily amend the menu to suit your needs. We highly recommend Tissa’s Inn to anyone travelling to Kochi.

Great place to stay within easy walking distance of the main sites. The staff are all excellent and very helpful. The breakfasts are very generous with a choice of Indian or Continental. We had Indian breakfast every day and they were superb

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Tissa’s Inn. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, organising tuk tuks for us to do sightseeing and also arranging tickets to a local Kalaripayattu martial arts show. The hotel is beautifully decorated with Keralan artworks and is situated a short walk from the Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica. The breakfasts are tasty and generous, and we also enjoyed having lunches and dinners in the hotel, with the chef being very accommodating with any dietary requirements. The showers could be a little hotter, and you do need to be wary of mosquitoes, but these were small issues in an otherwise lovely stay. We appreciated having ample space to sit both within the room and outside the room in the upstairs common area, and we also spent some relaxing time on the loungers, catching the breeze, in the rooftop pool area. Thank you to Sanitha and team for taking care of us!
