Hotel Vale Verde

La habitación está muy bien, tiene todo lo necesario. Muy limpia. El equipo del hotel es espectacular, tuvimos un accidente con la moto por la noche y fueron muy atentos y nos ayudaron muchísimo. Ana fue una enfermera estupenda. Se nota que es un negocio pequeño que ponen esmero y cariño en la atención a cada cliente. El desayuno muy rico también, tenían pancakes :)

Great location in the heart of town. Walking distance to pretty much all to see, do, drink and eat. Beautiful courtyard and balcony off the room that both have stunning views of the green hills. I cannot stress enough how incredibly friendly, helpful and great the staff were. The manager sat with us and it was a great conversation as his knowledge of the town and island were top notch.

Rooms are small and basic. Wifi isn't great. Breakfast was just ok. Too expensive for a 2 star hotel.

Le petit-déjeuner n'a pas été à la hauteur des descriptions que j'avais lues avant ma réservation, l'absence de sourire de la jeune femme qui assure le petit- déjeuner. Cela dit, elle a été présente le jour de notre départ tôt dans la matinée vers 7h20, ce qui nous a permis de prendre un petit déjeuner rapide et léger, devant rendre notre voiture de location à l'aéroport au plus tard à 8h30. Nous la remercions particulièrement pour cela.

Lo mejor es la amabilidad de la recepcionista Juliana, encantadora! Nos aconsejó muy bien, y nos dejó toallas para ir a las pozas. La ubicación es muy céntrica, y dispone de aparcamiento. El desayuno está bien.

Gérant et personnel pas agréable, Petit déjeuner servi de 8h00 à 10h00 médiocre ! Plus rien à 8h45 , il a fallu aller chercher le personnel pour qu’il remplisse le buffet du petit déjeuner ! Ne pas se fier aux photos du petit déjeuner, plus de la moitié des produits ne sont pas proposés

Very helpful front desk staff

Air con did not work so very hot and humid. On a busy thoroughfare so noisy with windows open. Difficult to get any sleep. Restaurant closed. Breakfast meagre. Room not serviced. Not very clean. Whole place felt mothballed pending a renovation. Very expensive for what it is. By far worst hotel of 3 week Azores trip.

Ein sehr schönes kleines, zentral gelegenes Hotel. Das Personal war überdurchschnittlich kompetent und hilfsbereit. Alle unsere Fragen wurden geduldig beantwortet, eine Angestellte spricht deutsch.

Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. Czysto, przytulnie. Duża dostępność miejsc parkingowych. Smaczne śniadania, proste ale świeże produkty, uzupełniane na bieżąco.

Jedynie to brakowało nam lodówki w pokoju, ale w kolejnym miejscu noclegu też nie było więc być może nie jest to typowe na Azorach aby te lodówki były.

ontbijt had iets uitgebreider gekund. Nu alleen hardgekookte eieren. Omelet zou fijn zijn. en ook wat meer vers fruit zoals bananen, kiwi's. Leuk dat je je eigen pannenkoekjes tijdens het ontbijt kan maken.

L'emplacement est bien situé en centre ville. Il n'y-a que 10 chambres, ce qui réduit le bruit occasioné par les occupents.

Cet hôtel est très bruyant car il est situé à un croisement de rues et la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas (il y-avais un simple ventillateur en remplacement). La télévision ne fonctionnait pas. Le parking est un simple morceau de terrain sur le coté et par temps de pluie c'est la gadoue assurée.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war perfekt! Personal war sehr hilfreich und zuvorkommend. Man bekommt Badetücher für die nahegelegenen Thermen gestellt. Einfaches, aber gemütliches Zimmer. Frühstück war gut. CheckIn ist flexibel.

etwas mehr Ablageflächen im Bad und Orte um Jacken o.ä. aufzuhängen (nicht nur im Schrank).

Amazing place! Was here twice, and both staying was absolutely incredible. So carrying and safety place as never before. Wonderful, friendly, and peaceful people who work there and always ready to help in any questions you have. The best recommendation. For any price - this is the best choice on Sao Miguel for sure.

I work in the luxury hotel development business, the staff, owner, and the way they went above and beyond - is better than many luxury hotels i help develop. They for example, allowed me to store my food in the fridge, gave me free range of the hotel kitchen, told me i could work in the bar/restaurant, moved the tables and chairs to set up a desk, moved the extgension cords so i would be comfortbale, the cleaning lady ironed my shirts so i was ready for a work call, and they let me stay as late as i want on late check out -i had to pay €10/ hour but i could choose when i wanted to check out which was AMAZING, honestly, better than many four seasons, aman level of service, juliana actually cared, gave me as much local green tea as i wanted, really i was so impressed. Again i work in this business. So sweet.

Very nice and cute house, great location, wonderful breakfast and amazing staff - Julianna was on top of everything, very helpful and provided lots of great tips and suggestions! Definitely recommend!

Le lieu est très bien situé et l'hébergement dispose d'un parking ce qui est très pratique vis à vis de sa localisation en centre-ville, le personnel est très sympathique et toujours prêt à satisfaire les demandes. L'Hôtel est très propre et la literie très confortable.

Location was perfect, accommodations lovely, and staff was very kind and helpful. My taxi didn’t arrive to take me to Punta Delgada to meet my tour - so the manager grabbed his keys and drove me- almost an hour away! This hotel really makes sure you are happy and comfortable.

This hotel was in great walking distance of grocery stores, a cute bakery, and several of the volcanic bubbling springs. The view from the balcony of my room was STUNNING and I spent several evenings hanging out in my room with the doors open because of this. Juliana at the front desk was particularly kind and incredible when I showed up with car sickness from the ride up to Furnas. She went above and beyond to help me.

The hotel is a short walk away from the hot springs and a quick drive to Terra Nostra park + Poça da Dona Beija (highly recommend!) There is ample parking for the hotel behind it. The breakfast was satisfying and they offer massage + thermal water walks. Communication online with the hotel and with the front desk staff Julia was great, she is so knowledgeable about the area and you can tell she enjoys sharing to make your experience in Furnas top notch. Thank you!

Fantastyczna obsługa!

Ladies in the hotel were really helpful and kind, so we felt like at home during our stay. On day of our arrival we could check-in earlier, as our room was ready, we really appreciated it after a long travel to the island! When we planned to visit a hiking trail, they asked responsible authorities for further information, if we will be in safe on the route or which road is available. If we had any questions or requests, they helped/ gave us advice or told more details about local customs (like a private tour guide!). Breakfast was amazing, we can taste local food. Location of the hotel is great, as it's in the city center and must-see places are in walking distance. We would like to say thank you for the team and really recommand this hotel! We hope, we can return next time, as this kind of host is unique!

Excelente service! Best on the São Miguel. I stayed two weeks in January 2026, almost alone in the hole hotel. Every morning, I have my delicious breakfast. The room was very clean. Good hot shower. Location is just perfect, walking distance to everything in Furnas.

The hotel is old and needs some upgrades.

We booked, paid, and made sure we could check in by 11:00 PM. The hotel replied that we could. We arrived before 10:00 PM, no one let us in, no one answered the phone, and the hotel was closed. We were left stranded on the street overnight. Fortunately, some kind people in town helped us and took us in for that one night. The next morning, we looked for another hotel. To this day, we haven't received an explanation for what happened.

Muito bem situado no centro das Furnas, a poucos minutos a pé das atrações, restaurantes e pontos turísticos. Gostaria de destacar o excelente atendimento das funcionárias Juliana e Ana durante a minha estadia. Foram extremamente simpáticas, prestáveis e atenciosas, sempre prontas a ajudar e a tornar a experiência ainda mais agradável. Estacionamento gratuito ou fácil nas redondezas e Wi-Fi Quartos limpos, confortáveis e espaçosos.

O pequeno-almoço é um pouco limitado e básico, o que pode não atender a quem procura mais variedade. Notei também que o isolamento acústico dos quartos deixa a desejar, sendo possível ouvir algum barulho da rua ou de outros quartos. Além disso, os quartos precisariam de algumas manutenções, como pequenos reparos em mobiliário e detalhes de acabamento, para tornar a estadia mais confortável.

I didn’t really like the breakfast. The juice wasn’t natural and the cheese wasn’t tasty at all. The coffee also wasn’t that good

Buena ubicación

Hôtel très accueillant, avec un petit déjeuné copieux en buffet, service à volonté. Le personnel est adorable et très serviable. Les chambres sont petites, quoiqu'elles bénéficient d'un balcon aménagé. Mais comme il pleut souvent en hiver, le balcon n'est pas utilisable. À savoir, pour les petits budgets, qu'à Furnas tout coûte plus cher qu'ailleurs, hôtel compris.

Personnel tellement gentil. Déjeuner copieux. Balcon donnant vue sur les montagnes. Beaucoup mieux que de grands hôtels impersonnels.
