Hotel Keihan Asakusa

Great location!

Very small tiny rooms

The cleanness and the staff were great. Great location.

There was no wardrobe/ cabinet for our clothes. Other than that everything was great

The location, the price, the facility is perfect

Smallest room for 2 people. Very difficult to move in. No room for small suitcase.

Great hotel

Location to metro stations

Room layout not good and no space for luggage

the location is super! The best I had in Tokyo! A few min. walk to the temple, so many restaurants with good scores, so many supermarkets and convenience stores, Souvenirs shops nearby, lively but quite area at the same time. The room was well insulated so no noise from outside. I loved the breakfast, it exceeded my expectations! So much food of any kind, mainly Japanese style but also Western with warm pancakes, bread, jam, yogurt, corn flakes etc. but the highlight was the japanese food! Delicious , with a crazy variety, fresh made on the spot onigiri, soups of 2 kinds, different kind of salads, curry, a lot of veggies, great also for those vegetarians! Only minus that they had only cow milk and nothing as an option for people not drinking that for choice or allergies (Soy milk would be good to have) Metro station very very close to the hotel! I highly recommend it

the rooms is pretty small, you cannot even open the luggage unless you put it on the bed. The sink was outside the bathroom, but the shower room was big, great water pressure!

Good size rooms and amazing location. Proximity to train station and Don Quijote is a huge plus.

The location was superb

Too cramped

Position for limousine bus pick up was a walk across the road

Rooms were to small to accommodate 2 king single beds. 2 single beds would have left some room to move in the room. Way to tight.

狭い

Location was awesome. Our room was amazing. Softest bed we slept on in Japan (not too soft. Medium by American standards)

Perfect location, within 5min walking to Sensoji, Nakimise street, Don Quijote. 7-11 right next door! An excellent Indian restaurant also next door. Toiletories, lotions, Yakutas etc provided were of top-notch quality. Rooms are newly renovated. Though small in size, they fit the purpose.

The bfast is superb! Location is good, super near donqi

On going renovation

The hotel is in a great location on a main street with good transportation links. There was a nice view from the room and the staff were very helpful.

The room is quite small with a very bad internal planning (no place to hang or put anything in the shower; inconvenient place to hang clothes; only one tap outside the toilet or shower area). The breakfast was OK but not great.

The room was excellent, high quality, great shower.

Perhaps a little to tiny, if the room would have been slightly bigger, that would be perfect

Molto pulito,posizione comodissima

Great location, cosy room. Check in staff was awesome and extended warm welcome. It makes a ton of difference as your warm human touch sets the benchmark for excellent service.

Room quite tight on space.. it'll be ideal to have more hooks and hangers to hang our sweaters/clothing

Overall great hotel with superb location

Does not have a lobby

Helpful staff

Nothing

Camera molto carina e accogliente seppur piccola. Pulita Letto comodissimo

Tutto perfetto, camere nuove molto confortevoli, non troppo piccole. Personale fantastico, cordiale e sempre sorridente.

Nothing really

Rooms were way too small and the beds were way too hard and staff had no other options and nor were they interested in trying to make the bed situation any better

Dobra lokalizacja.

Niewygodne poduszki. Nie sprzątali pod prysznicem.

cant complain about the location.

We got a beautiful, freshly renovated room with an amazing shower, lovely view and delicious breakfast. There are many stores close to the hotel, as well as izakayas and shops.

Very Clean, good size rooms, location

A nice hotel in a good location near Asakusa Station. Has a plentiful of nice places around to visit and a good public transport connection to all other popular tourist destinations. Our room was small (which is normal for Tokyo) but very cozy and freshly renovated. The staff was very welcoming. We appreciated that they had all possible toiletries available near the reception (including hairbrush, razor, skin care products etc.). The breakfast was exceptional with a big variety of oriental dishes and tasty onigiri that a sweet lady prepared fresh in front of you. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The hotel has a great location with many restaurants nearby. If you’re planning to take the airport limousine bus, the bus stop is conveniently located just across the hotel.

The hotel is currently under renovation, so there can be strong paint smells at times and some daytime noise. Guests who are sensitive to smells or noise may want to take this into consideration.

Location

Small room, breakfast

The location is definitely what sells this hotel! There's a 711 beside it and a lawson a further back, so many walkable subways and shops nearby, and super close to all the tourist attractions in Asakusa. This is by far one of the favourite hotels I've stayed in during my visit in Japan. The staff are all extremely lovely and helpful. They helped us with laundry, locations, and shipping our luggages to the next hotel. I booked a twin room for me and my partner and the room was bigger than I expected. The beds are comfortable and I slept like a baby! I'd definitely go back again and book this hotel.

There's nothing in particular that I did not like, but if I can think of one, and this is not a criticism by any means, if you are looking for a cheaper option to do your laundry, you'd be best going into a self-service laundromat instead as the laundry service in the hotel is quite pricey. They wash and iron the clothes for you, but I'd suggest to do your laundry elsewhere if you want to go cheap.
