My wife and I just spent a week at Tentaciones Hotel and Restaurant to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and "perfect" doesn't even begin to describe it. We stayed in the Alexandra suite, and it was worth every single penny. Having our own private plunge pool and the complete privacy of the outdoor shower made our stay feel incredibly luxurious and intimate. Because it’s a boutique hotel, the entire property felt like our own private sanctuary, boasting some of the best views of Zihuatanejo Bay you will ever see. What truly sets Tentaciones apart, however, is the impeccable service. The staff treats you like absolute royalty while making you feel completely at home. They anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to make our milestone anniversary feel special. The dining at the restaurant was a culinary highlight of our trip—exquisite meals paired with unbeatable sunset views. If you are celebrating a special occasion, book the Alexandra suite and prepare to be amazed. We cannot wait to return!

We had the best week at Tentaciones, the Alejandra suite was incredible! The staff, esp Daniella and Marco, were the best!! SO sweet and helpful. I loved every thing about the property and it felt magical returning every single time. Breakfasts were so yummy and included. Watching the whole moon from our plunge pool and chaise lounge chairs on the deck is something I will never forget. Plus, the birds in the trees were such a fun form of entertainment.

There is a reason that my wife and I have been coming here for more than 20 years. The beauty of the bay and the environment of the hotel/restaurant are unmatched anywhere in the world. But that is not what keeps us coming back. It’s the beautiful people here who make us so welcome and a number of whom we have befriended. Why wouldn’t we stay here?

Everything about our stay was perfect. From Carmen at the front desk to Luis, Chai, and Juan Pablo in the restaurant, everyone worked with a smile. We had dinner at their fabulous restaurant the first night, and it did not disappoint. Our room, guys, was FANTASTIC! They decorated it for our anniversary upon arrival, and the outdoor shower, plunge pool and chaise lounge was very secluded. We stayed in the Alejandra suite (which I think would be the most private). We will be returning guests.

Everything. If I could rate this a 20 out of 10 I would! Carmen, Luis, the others are ALL just incredible. The breakfast was gorgeous, the views were gorgeous. The perfect area for walking to a few great restaurants and short walk to Madera beach too. Our room Ana Catalina was huge and we were so spoiled having our own pool to jump in whenever we wanted. Luis makes an amazing tamarind margarita too! We are so happy to find this place and would return in a minute!

Not a thing! As if you had mentioned, it is a bit of a climb up to the property. But we walked it every day without a problem.

Tentaciones is the perfect location to relax. The property is beautiful with an amazing view of the Zihuatanejo Bay. The staff was very attentive to all our needs. The excellent service started from the time we arrived. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway; this is tue place. My sister and i totally loved it!

We were lucky enough to have Tentaciones all to ourselves. We went during the low season and there are only a total of 4 rooms. This experience was very exclusive. The staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast that is included is no joke! Super delicious . You can have breakfast at their sister hotel Espuma for no additional cost. Espumas breakfast was delicious!!! The rooms give off Greece vibes- very romantic. This hotel is about a block from beach (uphill)

From the moment we arrived we were were blown away by the beauty of this property and the attentiveness of the staff. The tamrindo margaritas were great and the meals were delicious. We really enjoyed dinner at night with the breathtaking evening view. I can’t think of a single thing that I would change. Can’t wait to go back!

I was optimistic seeing the great reviews here, however all expectations were exceeded. First of all the service from all staff is impeccable. Carmen and Luis kept us so well cared for with food/drink/transport/reservations etc.. We stayed in the Alejandra suite and I can't say enough about how perfect it was. Having the outdoor plunge pool was integral to a visit in the off-season heat. Being able to enjoy the views from the balcony while remaining cool in the pool was such a welcome refuge. The food at the restaurant is fine dining in the evenings and my birthday dinner was so special. I even had a special birthday breakfast. Breakfast daily served by Luis couldn't be a better start to each day. Fresh fruit, yogurt and granola to start followed by a daily changing main hot course with a spectacular view. The location is situated almost ideally between the town and the main tourist beach La Ropa. You can walk to each area, but would suggest a taxi ride due to the "hike" to get down from the the property. The taxi rank is a block away so rides are quick and incredibly cheap. All together, Tentaciones provides everything needed for a relaxing escape from the hustle/bustle of daily life. It truly is an enchanting destination to recharge and feel pampered if only for a time.

It was such a beautiful experience and the perfect getaway for a memorable weekend! Everything was just on point, the installation, the friendly atmosphere from the staff, gourmet food, lovely pool, mixology, the room and the view of the whole bay was the best thing in my trip.

We went here on a suggeston of a freind that has been going there for years. It was an Anniversary getaway. We stayed 5 nights. We really enjoyed our time there. It is close to town, and a short walk to La Ropa beach. The service for breakfast, the bar and the room was impeccable and the room was very spacious and comfortable. We never used the inside shower, we used the outside one. The room is very private and quiet, except when they are setting up the dinner area upstairs between 3-4 pm. We never had dinner there becasue we wanted to try many of the surrounding dinning opportunities. The view everyday is spectacular. We also never went in the pool becasue the room has this mini pool on the outside deck that you can use privately. This room is called Alexandra. There only 4 rooms

Tentaciones is a delightful place! When we booked our stay we didn't realize that the property has only four rooms. Because of this, the staff is very small. You get to know everyone very quickly and they get to know you. Service becomes very personalized, very fast. Our host Salvador, Carmen at the front desk, and Luis in the restaurant were among our favorites. If you are looking for quiet intimacy, this is your place.

Simply the best hotel experience in Zihua! The rooms! The view! The pool! The amazing staff! All of it was the best experience we have had in many, many trips to Mexico. The location is perfect, with short downhill walks to either La Ropa beach or to downtown. We opted for cheap cab rides back up to the hotel, but the walk is fine if you’re up to it. So much to do in Zihua, I only wish we stayed longer. Thanks to Carmen, Salvador, Luis, Chai and the rest of the excellent staff for making it a perfect vacation!!!

I could not believe how much attention to detail went into everything both the hotel and food and beverage did for us each and every day.

I am awestruck by this boutique hotel! I could have never imagined such a wonderful experience. From the time we arrived we were treated like kings and queens! Louis placed a most delicious margarita in our hands while we drank in the views of the entire Zihua Bay. Carmen treated us like family with her kindness and showed us the property and our rooms. We stayed in the Alejandra room which was very private and the wading pool was a treat every night while we sipped drinks and enjoyed Gods artistry of the sunset. Our room was so clean and full of all amenities from showering needs to soft towels and robes. Beds are firm which I loved and had a few options for pillows. The AC made the room cool and the frig with cold waters was a nice touch. The coffee in rooms was great and strong. The infinity pool was covered with umbrellas around the pool to rest in shade but I loved swimming to the edge to see the entire bay below! What a magical view and the church bells on Sunday was a blessing! For my birthday they decorated my room with flowers and balloons, just like family. Another amazing feature was our outdoor shower! What a dream I did not want to wake up from. Our breakfast each morning consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, fresh cold green juice and warm coffee. It was so quiet and peaceful! Louis greeted us every morning with smiles and his humor made us laugh! Carmen greeted us asking about our past day and future plans. They love their job as you see it through their smiles any joy. Too notch treatment. Our evenings at the hotel were spent with Chi making amazing drinks and delivering to our room during sunset. My favorite drink was the habernero pineapple margarita with black salt rum! Yum! We did celebrate my 50th birthday with dinner at the restaurant and Salvador the manager was full of life! He made the evening most memorable! The wait staff was busy making the evening perfect and all the guests enjoyed the views of the bay and everyone was merry! The chef has the Midas touch as every bite was full of flavour and cooked to perfection! I had the surf and turf but the soup, lobster app was magic in my mouth! Cheers to the chef! We spent 3 perfect nights and four days and did not want to leave! My husband and I never stay at the same hotel twice as we love to discover new places but this 5 star palace on the hill will be visited again! Whoever reads this review, I promise you will not regret this hotel! Genuine red carpet 5 star service. This was our first time to Zihua. Our friends found this amazing hotel to celebrate their 50th birthday. We have traveled to Mexico several times and have stayed at an inclusive resorts and have never received this kind of TIP TOP service. We were welcomed by Carmen, the hotel manager that gave several recommendations of things to do in the area and making sure we had everything we needed. Our bartender Luis welcomed us with tamarind margaritas with chamoy they are to die for. He brought me breakfast in bed every morning. When we were driving away in our taxi Luis walked us out. He also had a very funny sense of humor and joking held onto the door as we drove away. We stayed in Roberta room, so quiet with the drop dead gorgeous views. We had our own personal tub and lounge chairs. The room was so roomy. Chai mixed up some fantastic drinks each night. Salvador made sure that we were taken care of with our vegetarian diet. The whole staff were meeting every need. We only saw 1 other guest the whole 4 days we were there because they only have 4 rooms total. We will return and bring our family. Beautiful hotel, great location with beautiful views. Carmen is a great front desk manager; Salvador is a great maître’d in charge of the restaurant for dinners and provides excellent customer service, and Luis is very friendly and great with customers.

The hotel is not equipped for people with mobility problems, there are no handrails going to some of the rooms except Thalia which is on the main floor, If you are staying in the other suites you must take steep long stairs, if you have any knee problems or any other handicap, this is not the hotel for you. If you are planning to stay at Tentaciones, you will need WhatsApp because there are no phones in the rooms. Whatever you need, you must make the request through WhatsApp.

Everything thing was exceptional, the hotel is on the hill so there is about 170 steps to get up to the hotel. My husband and I liked the hike up and did it about 2-3 times a day. It was our form of working out. So if you don’t like hiking up then you will have to take a taxi

I loved everything about the property! It’s a perfect indoor outdoor boutique hotel. There are only 4 rooms here which made it feel extremely exclusive and private. The views alone made it worth the price. The ambiance is very luxurious and romantic. It is also a restaurant so getting dinner was easy. I stayed in the Alejandra suite with the private pool and watching the sunsets from there were breath taking. The service was also top tier. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I felt right at home! The rooms also have AC to keep you cool. Location is great. Only a 3-5 minute walk to La ropa beach and even closer via taxi. Very close to the central market.

The only problem I had during my stay was the outside life (ants, flies, etc) but this is a given and nothing to complain about. It’s just the way things are with a lot of outdoor features. Sometimes they would get around our private pool but nothing a splash of water can’t fix.

I booked a room here for a week to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The property and staff are simply amazing...I can't imagine there is a better spot to stay in Zihua. Carmen, Luis, and all the staff made us feel like royalty. We stayed in the Alejandra suite (Expedia calls it the Romantic suite). It was completely private and had it's own dipping pool and outdoor shower. We splurged on dinner here on our first night and it was amazing...worth every penny. The views are amazing, and we spent a lot of time lounging by the infinity pool while letting all of our cares melt away. The location is perfect: it's a quick walk to either Playa la Madera/town in one direction or Playa La Ropa in the other. It's a bit of an uphill hike to get back to the hotel, but it helps burn off the calories from all the delicious food you'll eat while in Zihua! The only thing I would change is to book directly with the hotel rather than through Expedia. I wanted to change one night on my reservation, but Expedia couldn't seem to make that happen. I found it impossible to get a real person at Expedia, and their stupid bot was worthless. The Hotel staff were willing to make the change, but their hands were tied since I made the reservation through Expedia (This seems to be a common theme whenever booking through Expedia)

Amazing view, beautiful eclectic property, friendly helpful staff, gourmet food - wonderful way to celebrate a milestone event. There is a set menu with choices for appetizers, salads, mains and desserts and prices are at the high end but the food was outstanding and worth it. This is an experience restaurant!

I would have loved if there was a golf cart to take the staff to and from the beach. When it’s hot out, it’s less enjoyable walking up long hills.

What can I say that hasn't been said already. This place is AMAZING in every way. We came here for our honeymoon and it was spectacular! We stayed in the Alejandra suite. And boy did we pick a great room. Very large room with indoor and outdoor shower. The outside was great with our own plunge pool. Very private. The grounds are so beautiful words cannot give it justice. And the view, my God the view from the pool as well as our room. Now imagine all that then add the service. The people make you feel soooo welcomed and treat you like family. Special thank you to Luis and Carmen they took great care of us and made sure we had anything we needed. The rest of the staff is amazing as well. It was truly or favorite trip ever. We love to travel but there has not been anything like this. We can't wait to return!!

This hotel is perched on top of a cliff with no beach access. You can't just walk out. You need a taxi each time. There was no information about the food service or amenities. We read a review saying the dinner was $100/plate. When I called the hotel I got the same information. It wasn't true. It was December and there was a LOT of noise from the beach below (a BOOM! BOOM! BOOM machine ! for hours every day We couldn't find management when we needed them one night. They had given us a cell no. but no one responded.

If I could have given more than a 5-star rating, I would have. The hotel only has 4 rooms (we were the only guests due to low season) and has an incredible view of Zihautanejo Bay from everywhere on the property. It's also walking distance to a couple of top restaurants down the hill. The real difference for us was the staff at the hotel. It seemed their only concern was to make sure we had the best time possible. So thank you Chai, Carmen and Salvador for making this truly special.

Tentaciones Hotel & Lounge / Tentaciones Restaurant (two listings in Trip Advisor) We’ve visited Tentaciones for dinner several times in the past and always left believing they were the best restaurant in Zihuantanejo. They treated us like family, remembered us from year to year and delivered impeccable service with great food and drink. Nothing has changed, it remains the best restaurant we know in Zihua. But this time we stayed at the hotel. Four rooms, all beautiful, each with their own character, make it hard to choose. No matter, we would love any of them. And staying the night just reinforces the personal level of service from the staff, Carmen, Salvatore, Chai, Pablo, Oscar, and the rest, treating us like special guests of the family. We can’t wait to return.

Amazing boutique hotel that has the best view of Zihua! We stayed in the Ana Catarina room that has a private jacuzzi that is just perfect. The restaurant was sensational - everything we ate was delicious. We especially liked the tuna. We came here a few years ago and it was even better than we remembered - the service was great too. A must when in Zihua!

From our arrival to our departure, everything was excellent! Not just good...EXCELLENT! Tino and Sambrese met us at our car to welcome us and carry our luggage upon arrival. One of Chai's amazing tamarindo margaritas was next on the agenda...flower petals galore on the bed and in your whole room from Rosy....Carmen always at the ready to help with reservations, information, whatever you may need. Breakfast is a feast for both the eyes and the palate and dinner is an other worldy experience with the food AND the view! Salvador, Pablo , Alberto and more make it so special to dine there. We really feel like family there and begin dreaming of going again as soon as we get home every year!

We can't say enough about our stay at this magical place. The rooms at stunning, ours had a private splash pool, deck with lounge chairs and a table. The interior was gigantic and very well appointment, the bed was so comfy. I will say the best part of our stay was the amazing staff, From Carmen the hotel manager, to Salvatore the restuarant manager, and Pablo, Oscar and so many more whose names I can't remember. The made us feel so special, yet so not stuffy. The views are Breathtaking. Just book it, you won't be sorry.

We truly loved our stay at Tentaciones. We spent 7 nights in the Ana Catalina room. The room was large with double sinks and double shower. We had pocket doors which lead to a patio that had a double lounger, table with 2 chairs and plunge pool that was absolutely perfect to relax in after a hot day. We loved our view both night and day. At night the hills light up with the city lights making it so beautiful. Tentaciones is famous in the area for their restaurant. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and often had lunch there as well. The food is amazing as well as their Tamarindo Margaritas!! Since there are only 8 guests staying at any given time, lounging at the infinity pool was so relaxing. Soft music in the background and a staff that is so friendly and there to help with anything you need. Carmen helped us with Taxis and reservations in the area. Carmen is so incredibly hospitable and a pleasure to see and talk to everyday. We already miss Tentaciones and are looking forward to our next stay!

Tentaciones is a perfect spot to enjoy all that Zihuatanejo has to offer. It is centrally located with easy walkability throughout the city. The hotel itself is stunning, private and quiet, offering a slice of paradise with the cliffside infinity pool. The restaurant itself is a set menu with five courses of excellent food and beautiful views. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a luxurious stay in Zihuatanejo.

As we drove up we were impressed with the structure. When we walked up to the 2 wooden doors we wondered if we were entering the wrong way. Once we opened the grand doors, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the view. The entire staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. The room was as incredibly large for 2 and the rose petals on the bed were a romantic gesture. My favorite part was our private pool as the view was breathtaking. The only downside to this property if you have any physical limitations is the steep walk up and down to the street level or to your room. This property is incredibly beautiful, well maintained and customer service friendly. The staff will always call you by name as you enter of leave which makes it more special.

Loved our stay at Tentaciones! It was recommended by a friend, and I am doing same for others. Really like the Adults Only aspect of this property. The service was impeccable, the room we stayed in was beautiful (super clean) and with our own private pool. We enjoyed a delicious 5 course dinner in their outdoor dining area which was VERY romantic. And the morning breakfasts (included in package) were hearty and delicious! Tentaciones is a great place, and we will stay there again!

Breakfast was delicious and a good value. The staff was amazing!!! Luis “Chai” and Carmen treated us excellent. Their service exceeded our expectations. The hotel was peaceful, quiet and the views were gorgeous! The room we had was incredible and spacious. The showers were wonderful and large. Plenty of storage and relaxing space.

Some of the the natural wildlife came in our room. The staff was quick to attend to our needs but at times it was a bit much.

Our 2nd time here. The staff make you feel like family. The property is gorgeous. Perfect location for the views and privacy from the property, but also a short walk to the beach and several fabulous restaurants. The on property restaurant is certainly helmed by the best chef (not cook) in Zihua. 5 courses of WOW.

Everything, we went on Honeymoon over our first anniversary and everything was just perfect. The view, the people and the facilities were just top notch.

Fabulous view from my room, wonderful staff (Carmen and Salvador make you feel very much at home), excellent food and an amazing suite that had everything you could possibly want. Very nice infinity pool. Not cheap, but worth every penny!

Food at the restuarant was excellent, like a good place in France or Italy, but the set menu was limiting since I stayed for 4 nights. There are other excellent restaurants nearby so this isn't a big problem.

The staff was amazing. Only having 8 guests they give you the upmost attention at all times for any reason. You never felt like you were just a number. The view was amazing and our room was so unique and comfortable. Will definitely return.

Everything! Really. Everything in the Hotel is amazing. The staff, the food, the drinks, the view, the room... 10/10 ⭐ Location is also great. A 5-10min downhill walk to Playa Madera, and from there walk another 5-10min (through the Boulevard) to get a boat to Playa Las Gatas.

Maybe just the car entrance. Is kinda scary. But, once you park in the Hotel, you don't really need the car during your stay because the location is great.

This is an excellent small boutique hotel located on a hill overlooking La Ropa beach. Staff and amenities were excellent. Included breakfast was superb. Highly recommend.

This hotel is in one of the most beautiful settings in the world in our opinion! Drop dead beautiful view of the Zihuatanejo bay...backed with twinkling lights of the city, a painterly set of hills ...back dropped by flaming pink orange sunsets. The hotel, pool and restaurant is really high above the water...over looking large numbers of boats....exquisite and very romantic at night. Interesting minimalist room...with lovely flower welcome. The television turned out to be challenging to work for us. We also were concerned about the lack of a banister on the stairs to our room...somewhat of a safety concern, especially for older people. The restaurant serves a very interesting five course meal...beautifully presented. While the candles at night provide a romantic and rather magical setting, they do not provide enough light to show off the beautifully presented courses. The wait staff and manager were lovely...very oriented to make sure any issue or question was addressed Unfortunately, one night we both somehow ate something at dinner that did not agree with us...and paid for it during the night. That said, we plan to return because of all of the positives we experienced over several different visits.

Amazing visit

Our first trip to Zihua and Tentaciones made it all the more lovely. The room was wonderful -- plenty of space, immaculately clean, everything we needed, including our own private patio area with a stunning view of the bay. The dining and pool areas were always ready for guests, pristine, with fabulous views from every angle. QUIET! High on the hill so away from any road noise. Also high meaning a long walk down to get to the beach, which my old knees could barely handle, so that would be my only caution for anyone who has problems with stairs or steep hills. But the staff was always ready to call us a taxi when needed. It's in an area with several other upper-end hotels and resorts, so dining out is easy, although the restaurant there is great as well. This level of elegance, comfort and service was a joy to come back to every day!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel!!! The infinity pool has amazing views. We spent many hours enjoying it. The poolside food and drink are delicious. We especially enjoyed the gourmet dinner. The staff make this place incredible. Carmen is friendly, attentive, and informative. Tino is always quietly available for the little things that make your stay comfortable. Auri decorating your room with flowers is just one example of how Tentaciones attends to every detail.

Beautiful facility, great view from the pool area. Had dinner there on a first night we arrived... not our favorite food... very heavy... no flavor.. fixed menu so you pretty stuck at what they fed you. But don’t you worry, they have another restaurant right across from their hotel If you can deal with those stairway... AMAZING food. Epuma is the name of the restaurant I believe. We usually eat at Epuma and take a cab back to the hotel since they are on top of the hill and who can walk back after a few drinks and dark at night .... our suggestion to the hotel is you should get a golf cart to take guests from the hotel to the ground and back.

It was an all around wonderful trip.

We had a great week at Tentaciones! The hotel staff were amazing and took great care of us. The view from our room and the pool are breathtaking and the food was amazing. We couldn't have had a more relaxing week in Zihuatanejo! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing, and absolutely beautiful vacation.

We just returned from a delightful stay at Tentaciones. The property is breathtakingly beautiful, situated on the hillside with a beautiful view of Ziwah bay and beaches. The room was very comfortable, very clean, with a small outdoor seating area where we had breakfast each morning. The staff is exceptional--very friendly and extremely attentive. They were able to accomodate any requests we had with a smile. Leaving the property was like leaving old friends. We will definitely stay at Tentaciones on our next trip to Ziwah.

Nice place but very expensive for the experience .. meal should be included or at least breakfast and dinner ... 12000.00 pesos for room and continental breakfast

our room was very clean & comfortable. delicious breakfast & coffee. the view was fabulous. a short hike, though steep, to town or beach makes this a very convenient location. if you aren’t up to the hike, the taxis are very close.

This small boutique hotel is wonderful! Since there are only 4 guest suites, it felt like staying at the private villa of a wealthy friend where staff is lovingly looking after you! The room,view ,pool deck,restaurant are all incredible . Our bed and bathroom were decorated with bougainvillea with "Happy Anniversary" spelled out in petals on our bed surrounded by a flower heart! We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food and service were outstanding. Right outside our room was our own comfy sitting area by the pool where we sat after dinner with a glass of wine watching the lights of Zihua below us. This place is perfect for a honeymoon or romantic weekend!

This was our 8th trip to Tentaciones over the last 17 years. We've stayed at a variety of resorts in Zih, from the lavish on the beach resorts to a variety of small boutique hotels. Tentaciones set a new high standard. The pictures do a good job in showing off the hotel. The view simply can't be adequately captured by photos- it is spectacular. The location is PERFECT, as we could easily walk both into town and to La Ropa beach. This hotel has 4 rooms, our was the one that is actually under the dining patio. The room is a split level room, with an indoor fountain that's detailed into the floor (came in handy for cooling off hot feet!!!), and a private balcony and an outdoor shower (also private, incredible view!). The room was great! The bed was actually a proper bed (some hotels in Zih put a mattress on a concrete plinth- which has been hard on my back at some locations. The bathroom had twin skins, and a really nice indoor shower which we never used. The food was great - and we're foodies... Breakfast was included in the room rate, but egg dishes were extra. Breakfasts included fresh fruit (3 kinds that varied by day), three fresh pastries... all great... yogurt and muesli and fresh orange juice and Coffee. We had eggs twice, but only because we didn't want to miss them - the standard breakfast we really all we needed. The staff we all really great - thanks all!~ Super nice folks, with some great suggestions as to where to go and what to do.

Carmen was incredible. Her customer service exceeded my expectations. Hotel was beautiful and suites very spacious, clean and beautiful. Only complaint would be that dinner was a set menu and guests could not order a la carte. Staff was excellent and breakfasts were delicious and amazing. We did have the four course meal one night and were very pleased with the food and experience. We will definitely be back.

Not knowing much about Zihuantanejo,we booked the hotel, looking for a high end hotel, close to the beach. The hotel itself did not disappoint us. Its location did. It is situated high on the slopes of the mountain and even though it is 10 minute walk from the beach, it requires going up and down a very steep slope. When it rains, even cars can not drive up to the entrance and one has to walk up the driveway or climb many stairs. This information was not provided prior to booking. Unfortunately, I am partially handicapped and use a cane for assistance. Walking up and down each time we wanted to go for a walk or to go to the beach was very difficult. We had booked a 6 night stay. On our second day we asked a consideration to move to another hotel but the manager was not empathic enough to the situation and refused to release us from the 50% obligation. We did find another hotel that we moved to after the third night. We were greatly disappointed

This is a first-class hotel in my opinion. With only 4 rooms, consider yourself lucky to get a booking. The small staff made my stay perfect and the owners were very hospitable. It was very clean with attention to all the details. The dinner I had at their restaurant was impeccable and delicious and the views were breathtaking. I would stay at Tenaciones Hotel again any time I vacation in Zihuatanejo.

Aging staff and the diners were above amazing. Some of the best views and very private / quiet.
