We were warmly welcomed and treated well. The location is walking distance to everything we needed and wanted. The breakfast buffet was generous, and they had great gluten-free options! Many thanks for a fantastic experience.

We loved Chamonix and the location of the hotel was good.

It was really hot, no air conditioning and the window couldn't be opened as there was foliage round it and no mozzie nets. Maybe we were unlucky with room allocation, but there were flood lights and a bright green spot light from building works that shone around the ill fitting curtains in the bedroom, straight onto the bed which made it too bright to sleep. The bathroom was so small you had to back into it to use the toilet and my 6ft tall husband didn't have room for his knees. The sliding, inside bathroom door was filthy, probably because the cleaner didn't have room to clean when it was shut.

Central location, close to everything (shops, local transport). Pleasant and helpful staff. It was very nice to have jacuzzi and sauna within the hotel.

There might be a loading area towards the east side of the building, we were woken up by forklift loading before 5 am. Breakfast was delicious, but not a great variety. Doors of the corner shower did not close properly. Bed was just about big enough.

Our room was tiny, which made it difficult for the two of us to manage our luggage when we had to repack our suitcases.

L'hotel si trova in un palazzo storico in posizione centralissima e abbastanza vicino a un parcheggio pubblico dove lasciare l'auto visto che la struttura non ha un suo parcheggio. Ottima la colazione e bella la sala colazioni. Gentilissima la ragazza alla reception di origini italiane.

La struttura è datata, le camere piccole e il bagno pessimo, davvero troppo piccolo. La camera era al piano primo non c'era l'ascensore e le scale di accesso erano strettissime. Assolutamente non vale il prezzo che abbiamo pagato.

Narrow stairs to the room were a little bit of challenge with a medium suitcase and rucksack. The person at reception did take my case up the stairs though.

The room was very small as was bathroom and bed was in an alcove type space which meant it got very warm even with a freestanding fan. Room was tired (paintwork etc) could do with some tlc. As with most of Chamonix felt expensive price for what you actually got.

The staff was nice and helpful and spoke English better than most French people. The breakfast was good with variety of coffee too.

Air Conditioning stopped working at 11pm as it was a red hot day the room was roasting so we had to open the window which was not ideal as we had a very noisy road throughout the night and early in the morning.

The staff and customer service! I accidentally left my very expensive progressive eye glasses in the room when we checked out. The staff contacted me before I even realized they were missing! The hotel held onto my glasses until I could return to retrieve them. I was very grateful that the hotel messaged me and kept them safe for me. Also, the location was amazing!

The room was very warm. One fan was provided. An additional fan would have helped make the temperature in the room more comfortable for sleeping.

La chambre spacieuse, une belle salle de bain avec baignoire et douche. Une Terrasse à côté de la chambre, accès privé. Le parking à côté. Bon petit déjeuner sucré salé.

Beliggenhet helt super, frokosten var veldig bra, gode senger, fint spa, hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening.

Likte ikke at det ikke er ac på rommet, håpløst med parkering. Og at det var et vanvittig støy fra en truck utenfor vinduet fra kl 0445. Selv om det er utenfor hotellets makt er det verdt å påpeke, vi var en familie på ferie som ble holdt våken.

Un hôtel charmant, en plein cœur de Chamonix. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour, notamment grâce à l’accueil chaleureux et au professionnalisme du personnel. Un grand merci à Aïcha pour sa prévenance, sa gentillesse et son agréable disponibilité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Emplacement de l’hôtel en plein centre ville et personnel très agréable et sympathique. Chambre avec vue sur le Mt-Blanc depuis le velux magnifique. Petit déjeuné simple mais complet. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu le temps de tester le spa.

The location was absolutely Perfect- 2 minutes walk from the centre of Chamnoix - quiet at night. The staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful. The breakfast was good.

Sadly the room we had booked was so tiny that we upgraded costing more and was still very small - considering the pictures on the website looked much bigger! Only a roof window in the first room and NO air conditioning. In the second room we had a tiny balcony and a fan - but it was noisy and not effective so too hot at night. We only had one pillow each which wasn't good and no fridge in the room. The safe didn't work either. The Curtain didn't close so we were woken up early because of the light. There was no lift and a very narrow staircase which was difficult to carry cases up. We were not offered help by the staff to take our bags to the room.

It fitted our plans for a 2 night stay. No lounge or bar. Basic services were fine.

Staff is friendly, location is central in Chamonix

Sure, there was a heat wave, and very few hotels in Chamonix have air conditioning. However, even when the temperature was moderately hot outside, it was much hotter in our tiny 2nd-floor room. The only source of relief was a ceiling window that we couldn't open when rain threatened (at the risk of getting the room wet). The one night we left it open, it meant the sunshine in the morning woke us at 6am along with the construction noise outside the hotel. How hot was it? Our last night at the hotel, the heat caused the room door to expand, which made it unable to close at all. We told the front desk that we felt unsafe with the room door visibly open, and we were told the only room they could move us was a hotel 10 minutes' drive from town. Not a great option as we (a) wanted to be in Chamonix and (b) just had dinner and a bottle of wine and returned to the room, not looking to drive at midnight. So we went to sleep with a chair and suitcase stacked against the open door so we would hear anyone entering our room in the middle of the night. I was told that maybe the manager would speak to me in the morning. Nobody did. We were simply offered a nominal reimbursement for our trouble. From the beginning, the signs of a poor stay were evident. A few days before our stay, we checked in online after receiving an email. I selected options for on-site parking and to have our room made up to be romantic for our special anniversary stay. When we arrived, they had no record of either. In the end, the room is too hot in the summer for wood doors and certainly not meant for human occupation. So not exactly the 25th anniversary we planned or a hotel you should stay in. Chamonix is special. The hotel has nice staff but the facilities are a wreck. Avoid. [NOTE: This is the first negative hotel review I've written in my life]

The rooms differ quite vastly. I stayed twice and the first time I had a room which was quite spacious with a lovely bathroom. The second time the room was much was tiny and had a tiny bathroom but a much better view.

It would be MUCH BETTER if there was a lift. Transporting the luggage up and down a narrow staircase is a mission

Needed single beds and not accommodated prior. When done set up as per a winter night not when 30deg outside., narrow beds.

Very nice hotel, great location, lovely spa. Interiors is so nice. Rooms upstairs is very hot in summers days but thanks hid for a fan 🙌🏻😀 Especially very thanks for great staff, thank you for the compensation we got from you even though it wasn't your fault for 2 days non stop noisy outside 🙂

Room advertised A/C but it does not have ac and I arrived during a heat wave. Also lots of construction happening and a music fest was happening right outside my door so no sleep. the room was unimpressive and old. Needs lots of updates

The receptionist was nice and changed our room upon request, but it didn't save the stay.

Thick dust, coffee stains, towels smelling of vinegar, and zero water pressure. The bathroom floor was so dirty a dropped towel turned black. ​The first room felt unsafe for two women due to a creepy mezzanine with a steep ladder, and it was suffocatingly hot. The second room was still dirty. Paper-thin walls (you hear everything) plus loud noise from 6 AM due to a nearby construction site and warehouse. The breakfast area is so tiny you sit basically on top of strangers.

Buffet du petit déjeuner avec de bons produits frais. Il ne manque rien. ¨Pains frais et variés, viennoiseries savoureuses. De bonnes confitures. C'etait très bien!

Location is decent but far from the main bus station.

We paid €60 to store two bags — more expensive than every other option nearby — while we completed a multi-day hike. When we returned to collect them, the staff member simply walked us into the storage room and told us to grab our luggage without checking our tickets or verifying any tags. We could have walked out with anyone’s belongings. There was no security process whatsoever. We had a second booking for after the hike, but returned early due to an injury in our group. We explained the situation in person at the front desk — with the injured party visibly present — and asked whether we could cancel our remaining night without penalty given the circumstances. Staff directed us to submit the request through Booking.com and said they would consider it. It was denied almost immediately. For context, every single mountain refuge along our route waived their cancellation fees without hesitation. A €50-a-night mountain hut showed more goodwill than this hotel. Like most hotels in Chamonix, there is no air conditioning — fair enough. What is not fair is being assigned a room where the ceiling slopes so severely that half the room is unusable, with no openable windows. The provided fan is decorative at best. We spent the night in a hot, airless box.

Everything the staff were so friendly. They cleaned my room and left a smiley face on my bed. Really made me smile.

- Le prix me semble un peu excessif par rapport à la taille et au confort de la chambre (lit superposé dans chambre de 3, pour le même prix qu’un appartement 2 étages, terrasse, bain à remous à l’Héliopic). - J’ai oublié ma montre Garmin dans mon peignoir, je suis revenu le soir car toujours en ville, impossible de la retrouver… J’aurai donné 6 étoiles si le nettoyage des chambres était plus fiable.

L’emplacement principalement

Chambre triple ou quadruple beaucoup trop petite ! Pour 3 adultes c’est pas possible ! être sous les toits avec pour deux petits lits la tête dans la poutre … collé au plafond… pas d’espace… horrible ! La tête dans le plafond aucun confort pour moi qui était dans cette minuscule mezzanine. Il faut le préciser et surtout vendre cette chambre pour 2 adultes et deux enfants et non pour 3 ou 4 adultes. De plus pour la cabine de douche, la porte ferme mal et la robinetterie ne fonctionnait pas correctement. Chaud puis froid puis bouillant, il faut changer le mitigeur. Dans la salle de bain le sèche cheveux à l’ancienne c’est pas possible pour nous non plus, heureusement, il a été possible de récupérer un vrai sèche cheveux à l’accueil.

Chambre en sous pente et petite. Difficile d’accéder à un côté du lit lorsqu’on est grand. Escalier étroit, difficile avec des valises. Personnel courtois mais sans plus. Cet hôtel est qualifié de « Hôtel de Charme », il est pratique, déco moderne de bon goût mais… sans charme. Nous n’avons pas d’avis sur le spa ne l’ayant pas utilisé.

Really nice hotel right in centre of town. We enjoyed the spa after long day hiking. Clean and efficient. Staff were very helpful as well.
