A lovely, cosy little hotel with a really warm & welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are very small, but beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean & comfortable. The owner was absolutely wonderful so kind & helpful. He helped me carry my suitcase to my room & even drove my luggage to my second hotel, which was incredibly helpful (it was very difficult to find accommodation for the whole week during UTMB). … & the breakfast… absolutely delicious! They have the most amazing brioche and a fantastic cheese board & the jest coffee in Chamonix❤️ The hotel is literally just a minute from the pedestrian street, so the location is very convenient while still feeling cosy & peaceful. Top-class hospitality & genuinely lovely service.

Underbart, charmigt och mysigt! Familjehotell sedan 1937, ägarparet mycket trevliga. De såg även till att skjutsa oss till stationen. Kan varmt rekommenderas!

L'accueil familial et chaleureux des propriétaires. Le matin, le service d'un bon petit déjeuner, avec de bons produits de qualité. Bref, on se sent comme à la maison. L'emplacement, pas loin de la gare du Montenvers pour visiter la Mer de Glace et aussi la gare du train rouge du Mont-Blanc-Express.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The room (#6) was small but had everything I needed, and had a little balcony with a view of the Aiguille du midi and Mont Blanc which was wonderful. The hotel was within walking distance of the bus and train stations, the cable car, museums, and all the shops and restaurants. There was also a really good supermarket literally around the corner. Breakfast was simple but plentiful (fruit, pastries, bread, cheese, yogurt, museli, sausage & egg), and I loved the fresh orange juice. The owners were very friendly and happy to help.

Minor point but there was some noise from the other rooms as the floor and some of the walls were wood so you could hear people moving around.

숙소 이쁘고 깨끗함, 직원분도 친절하심 특히 첫날 일찍 도착해서 짐보관 & 다음날 체크아웃 후 근교도시 여행갔다가 밤에 짐 찾으러 왔는데도 아주 친절하게 보관해주심

유일한 단점은 엘베가 없다는 점 + 계단이 좁음 여성분은 직원분이 도와주지 않는다면 캐리어 올리기 어렵다고 생각됩니다

Meget hyggeligt hotel. Værelset er lille, men smukt og smagfuldt indrettet. Fantastisk udsigt til Mont Blanc. Der var en lille balkon til vores værelse. Ligger centralt og alligevel roligt. Fin morgenmad. Venligt personale.

The bathroom smelled terrible. We had to keep the door shut because of the smell and stayed out of the hotel as much as possible.

Perfect location to Brévent gondola and a short walk to Aquila du Midi. Close to everything and was just an absolute pleasure. Breakfast was wonderful too. Happy the doggo was a great welcome home each day!! I also had a great balcony and sat in the sun eating pizza for dinner one night!!

The shower head dripped, but that was easily fixed by laying the head in the bath overnight.

The shower was a little weak but otherwise the room was excellent , It would have been great if the croissants were available a little earlier at breakfast time for those of us who wanted or needed to get out early in the morning.

I was on the ground floor & the reception area was often quite noisy with people talking quite loudly.

The gentleman at the front desk was welcoming and very kind. There’s no elevator but he graciously helped me with my heaviest suitcase when I got there. I got a little balcony with a delightful view to myself. The room was extremely clean and I felt 100% comfortable and safe there. You can hear other guests walking and talking (albeit not loudly), but at this point, you should be bringing ear plugs to every hotel… I had no issue with it. The location is fantastic! It’s a very short walk to a main street with shops, bars, restaurants, and grocery but you can hardly hear any of this from the hotel at night which is fantastic. I will stay here again when I return to Chamonix. It was such a charming property and the staff was lovely. Merci beaucoup!

There’s no AC (which is mentioned in the description). It’s normally not a problem in a mountain town but it was 30 degrees when I was there. Even then, it only got uncomfortably warm at night. Luckily I brought my own fan with me and it was ok. Pack some light pajamas if you’re visiting in the summer. It wasn’t a big deal, just something to think about if you’re used to AC.

Ich gebe selten die volle Punktzahl aber hier hat alle, was ich mir als Urlauber wünsche, gestimmt: ein kleines Hotel, vom Bahnhof aus gut erreichbar, eine ruhige Nebenstraße- trotzdem im Zentrum, geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet, ein Kästchen mit Ladegeräten im Zimmer, Bergblick, wunderbares Frühstück (Brot und Käse ein Gedicht), Besitzer und Angestellte super freundlich. Wasn’t prepared for the stairs. My room was on the 3rd floor.

A clean and comfortable hotel in a great location, located in an authentic building. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The cozy room had a beautiful view and a lovely balcony, which was a great place to relax. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The mattress was very comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

Cute hotel, friendly staff. Good full breakfast. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Offered to hold our luggage at no extra charge while we hiked the tour de mont blanc. Would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to get back to Chamonix someday.

Firstly mein hostess, probably the owner….what a charming and helpful lady. The location of the hotel for the main town was brilliant. A 200 yard stroll. The bedroom albeit basic was comfortable, the bathroom ….a great shower ….WiFi superb. The breakfast room was an absolute delight with a good variety of continental goodies to feast on.

Wished we could have stayed longer

Perfectly located, short walk to town, restaurants , Aiguille de midi gondola. Hosts were so friendly, facilities great, bed comfortable, an enjoyable stay all round.

Aamiainen oli perinteinen ranskalainen hieman tosin enemmän DIY tyylinen, koska esim kananmunat piti keittää itse. Juustoja, patonkia, hilloja, leipää ja jotain makeaa. Erikseen jääkaapista graavilohta ja kinkkua.

Vuoteet olivat huonot. Onneksi huoneessa oli kolmaskin vuode, jossa oli aavistuksen parempi sänky.

This is a family-run hotel, and that is exactly what makes it so special. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and personal in a way that many luxury hotels simply cannot match. When our airline delayed our luggage, the owner was incredibly helpful and supportive. He guided us, reassured us, and helped us navigate a stressful situation. His kindness and professionalism were remarkable. The hotel is spotless, comfortable, and full of charm. Our room was very clean, quiet, and well maintained. The small terrace with its beautiful view towards Mont Blanc was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Chamonix. A special thank you to Philip, who takes care of breakfast. He was always smiling, attentive, and exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and his hospitality made every morning even more enjoyable. And of course, a special mention to « Happy » the lovely dog who adds warmth and character to this wonderful place. In my opinion, this family hotel provides a better overall experience than many luxury five-star properties. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. My son and I will definitely return.

Super Lage im Ort, zentral und ruhig.

Très bon accueil, la proprio est super gentille, on a bien discuté, très sympa, très agréable. L’hôtel est à 2 minutes à pieds du centre. Super petit dej. Bien vraiment.
