Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Das Hostel ist sehr sauber und hat ausreichend Platz, der Raum ist gut genutzt. Am Bett hat man eine Ablage, Licht und USB. Die Ablage könnte größer sein für Medikamente und Brille. Das eigene Bad hat ausreichend Stellfläche, die im Flur leider nicht. Auch fehlt eine Leiste im Boden um das Wasser aufzuhalten oder ein Gummiabzieher. Die Matratzen sind ziemlich labberig und dünn. Das Bett ist leider nicht mit der Wand verbunden, so dass jede eigene Wendung. Insgesamt fehlen nur ein paar Kleinigkeiten für einen optimalen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist fantastisch und das Personal am Telefon sehr hilfsbereit.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Good location, bus stop right outside the hostel. Needing is clean. Small lockers with locks (won’t fit a big backpack or carry on). Lots of toilets, at night not enough showers.
Kitchen is small, so sometimes you have to wait. Limited lounge areas to socialize. Room smelt bad. Bunk beds you feel every movement of other bed.

Wasn't an issue for us personally (we're not light sleepers), but I know it might be for others so worth the mention that you could hear everything going on outside even with the window shut. And could hear the people in the hallway. Showers are tiny.

I really appreciated that they allowed me to leave my luggage before check-in and after check-out, which was very convenient and helpful. Thank you so much for the great hospitality! Next time I visit Bergen, I will definitely stay at City Hostel again, and I will happily recommend it to my friends.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Accès très aisé sans devoir solliciter le personnel grâce au code envoyé le jour même. Lieu très calme et très propre. Salle de bain privative, douche à l'italienne, sèche cheveux et produit de nettoyage WC. Pour prendre le petit déjeuner, un lieu à la décoration exceptionnelle (chaine KOG26 ouvert tôt le matin) et propose également déjeuner et dîner) se situe à 2/5 mn à pied en descendant Kong Oscars Gate vers le port, sur le trottoir de droite après le carrefour de la cathédrale (entre numéros 22 et 28) : buffet excellent avec gaufres fraiches à réaliser soi-même, belles vidéos sur plusieurs murs et musique douce. Tarif : 19 €/ personne, tarif réduit pour les enfants.
Le bel espace comporte une kitchenette (réfrigérateur, plaques, un micro-ondes) mais seulement deux minuscules assiettes et deux mugs dans de grands placards vides. Suggestion : ajouter 2 verres, 2 fourchettes, cuillères et couteaux, une casserole ou un plat creux et un produit "vaisselle" mais ce n'est sans doute pas le choix du propriétaire.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Ήταν σε κεντρικό μέρος κοντά σε τραμ, τρένο και λεωφορεία και στο κέντρο της πόλης, το προσωπικό πολύ φιλικό, ο κύριος στην ρεσεψιόν επαγγελματίας, βοηθητικός και φιλικός. Ειχε αρκετές τουαλέτες για τόσα άτομα και κουζίνα. Σελφ τσεκιν οδηγίες ξεκάθαρες.
Θα μπορουσε η πετσέτα να μη χρεώνεται και για hostel να ήταν πιο οικονομική η διαμονή, αν και η Νορβηγία είναι ιδιαίτερα πολλή ακριβή χώρα.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Lo único que destacaría como aceptable es que lograban mantener bastante limpios los espacios a pesar de la cantidad de gente que se alojaba, que ninguna habitación de hostel compartida tenía baño propio. La cocina no la usé, solo pasé por allí para llenar la botella de agua, pero la pileta estaba llena de restos de alimentos y las mesas sucias. No me hubiera gustado tener que usarlo.
En primer lugar me parece lamentable que no te den la cama preparada. Me he alojado en un montón de hostels y en todos al momento del check-in me dejan la cama hecha. Aquí te tienes que armar hasta la funda nórdica, lo cual si bien te dicen que es obligatorio, porque obviamente que no van a lavar la relleno, en mi habitación había quienes se echaban la funda y encima el edredón por no armarlo. Dudosa higiene. Malísimo el colchón, blando, dormía en un pozo y la almohada es lo mismo que la nada, inexistente. Las camas no tienen ni una repisa. Tenía que dormir en la cama de arriba con todos los cables de cargadores en la cabeza. En los baños generales faltan repisas también para apoyar las cosas, tiene un costo mínimo por única vez, no entiendo que les cuesta equiparlo con ello.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Ho soggiornato in un dormitorio con 5 letti a castello: stanza spaziosa, armadietto con chiave a disposizione, diversi bagni in comune fuori dalla stanza. Comfort ottimo, silenziosissimo, peronale professionale e cortese. Cucina a disposizione super attrezzata con 2 frigoriferi, 2 piani cottura, forni elettrici e a microonde, bollitori e tutta l'attrezzatura necessaria, a disposizione dalle 7 alle 21. Spazi comuni adeguati. In zona centrale a pochi minuti da supermercati, dai mezzi pubblici e dalle attrazioni principali. Consigliatissimo.
Nulla da segnalare, trattandosi di un ostello è ottimo.

Vid ankomst var ytterdörren, ingången till hissen trasig så en fick gå 4 våningar med tungt bagage.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026It was in the city centre and very clean. There were plenty of toilets and showers. Each bed had an allocated locker in the room for valuables. You could leave your luggage there for the day after checking out.
The beds were very squeaky. There were no little curtains across the bed for privacy. The kitchen was quite small and only 2 people could really fit in there at a time to prepare a meal. The communal living room area was very small.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026De loin la meilleure solution à Bergen. Centre ville. Accueil, communication par écrit, chambre fonctionnelle, propreté, cuisine bien équipée, salles de bain et toilettes en nombre suffisant, clientèle cosmopolite et ouverte aux échanges. Bref, à refaire.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026ми доїхали з арепорту на потязі №1 до центру Бергена. 5 хв пішки і вже були в помешканні. це досить великий хостел, з кухнею, їдальнею, зоною для відпочину, великими і зручними душовими. було багато людей, але було тихо і ніхто нікому не заважав. заселення і виселення по кодам. зручна кімната з неймовірним видом на місто. чисті душові. та рушники.
