Tracy and Colin are exceptional hosts making me feel like home really. The place is spotless with the lovely Harry Potter themed and Lego decorations. Easy access to the beach - literally just a minute walk. Even better, got a card and a heart-warming treat from them for my birthday. Can’t recommend them enough :)

Location was good and easily located. Hosts, Tracey & Colin were absolutely fab. Very welcoming & helpful. Room was well set up, great view of the sea (room 1) & had all we needed. Bed was really comfortable. Shower was great. Lots of tea & coffee options. We didn’t have breakfast but it seemed to be great value. To note parking is street parking but easy.

My first time staying in a Guest House and a first time in Margate, I was very impressed with cleanliness of our room, bathroom facilities, overall how clean and spotless the Guest house was! Me and my children had a very good comfortable sleep, we had breakfast at the restaurant cooked by Tracey and it was excellent value for money, hot and delicious, definitely recommend! Location of the Guest house is great, located from a train station about 15 minutes walk and the beach is very close. The owners are really friendly and helpful , place is quiet and area is away from noise but still old town is in a a walkable distance about 15-20 minutes walk.

The whole place was lovely, onstreet parking was a little difficult but we found a spot up the road. The room was small but perfectly functional with everything we needed. We made use of the iron and hairdryer, not the coffee maker as we couldn't follow the instructions! But there was plenty of teas. The complimentary beers, wine and chocolate were a lovely touch, as were the icecreams. The room was very clean, the bathroom lovely and the towels super fluffy. We would definitely stay again, well worth the money and the host was great

I spent three nights on this hotel with my two kids they are happy with bankbed they prepare books and toys every thing is clean specially toilet just woww in costumer service they are so kind I love them

As soon as you enter, you feel the comfort and smell the cleanliness. The service is personalized and attentive.

The bed was too soft for me.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and they made a lovely effort to make my birthday special, including the decorations, card and small gift. The bedroom was very nice, the bed was especially comfy, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. There is also a really beautiful and quieter local beach nearby which I really enjoyed visiting.

Unfortunately, my sleep was disturbed by other guests talking loudly in the corridors, as well as one guest having a very loud Zoom meeting with their bedroom door left wide open. As the rooms are not soundproof, I think it would be helpful to remind guests to be considerate of noise in the morning so that everyone can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. I also found that the 10:30am checkout felt quite early for the price of the stay and made the morning feel rather rushed.

Great location, 1 minute walk to local beach, great to watch sunset and easy walk to Margate main beach. Some onsite parking very handy. It is a really nice b&b and the owners are very friendly and helpful.

The guest house was very homely, clean and smelt lovely. Very family orientated. Our room, had sweets for our little boy, books, toys and board games for him to use. Our room was perfect. The owners were very nice and approachable and ensured we had everything that we needed. Breakfast was lovely and owner was really good with my little boy, even when he was running around playing peek a boo with him 🤣

The beds were abit too firm for us, but otherwise no complaints. We will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

The owners let us check in about 1 hour earlier which was really kind especially with unstable weather conditions that day. The house is family friendly ( lots of games / dvd/ beach toys / books available). The owners have really thought of everything including a box with a code outside for our bags to be left at check out and some beach towels to borrow by the entrance . Proximity to the beach is also really convenient especially with young children and no car. There are bike rentals a few minutes walk from the house and we loved the cycling lane along the beach. There is also a Tesco shop a few minutes away.

We were not able to bring our dog with us which was a bit sad as dogs help with children emotional breakdown and our dog would have loved the morning walk near the shallow sea. Saying this , it is understandable because there is carpet at the property, 10 bedrooms are for rental so may well have someone allergic and the owners own 3 lovely cats.

Colin and Tracy were great hosts and have made our stay very special. All very clean and tidy, like a hotel but with a homely feel.

My bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast was nice but I had to pay extra for it.

The sound on the tv was so bad I had to use subtitles. I couldn't get the room to cool down despite having a fan and the door open to let some air through from the other side of the building

We had a lovely weekend away. Was a bit apprehensive at first about the shared bathroom, however the bathrooms were always clean and didn't notice you were sharing with other people. Tracey and Colin were lovely hosts. We had gone away for my birthday and they had made it more special by putting a banner on the door and left a card for me which was a nice extra touch.

This is an extremely great experience here! My room is tidy and comfortable. I can see the sea through the big window. Tracy and Colin are sooooooooooo kind. I forgot my computer and they help me to find it. I appreciate a lot:) By the way, they have three cute cats. I had a wonderful time here. I would highly recommend Westbrook Hotel! XX

we hadden een gemeenschappelijke badkamer, maar dat was geen enkel probleem. Er waren 2 badkamers en er was altijd wel 1 vrij voor ons. De badkamers werden ook regelmatig schoongemaakt. Locatie dicht bij het strand en niet z over van het centrum. Standaardontbijt moet je bijbetalen en is niet uitgebreid, maar je kunt extra zaken bijkopen en uiteindelijk is het wel gemakkelijk om ter plekke al te ontbijten.

For the price you pay there can be no complains, 10 min walk to Dreamland/Train station, Decent size room, Tea/coffee kettle provided, Wash basin, I was a little worried about not having a WC/Shower with the room but the two shower rooms (with WC) plus a 3rd solo WC was perfectly fine, Cleanliness was A+, Staff were great, Handy Tescos 3-4 mins down the road.

We had a fantastic two night stay at Westbrook Lodge. Tracy and Colin were really attentive and helpful, the breakfast was fresh and delicious and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. They even had extra things for the kids, like board games and sand toys that you could borrow, which we took advantage of. We are looking forward to coming back.

Very cosy rooms, super clean and everything seems to have been carefully furnished with a lot of love for detail. Colin, the host, was lovely and gave us such a warm welcome - we‘ll definitely book again next time we‘re back in Margate.

We didn't know we had to sign up early for breakfast because they're careful with spreading the work load. So ended up with an awkward time.

Well presented and comfortable, I had a single room with shared bathroom. Located in a quiet area however access to promenade and beach is only 2 minutes walk. 10 minutes walk into Margate or 45 depending on how many bars you stop at. Tracey & Colin are excellent hosts and the freshly cooked breakfast was spot on.

Fabulous location, spotlessly clean. Everything had been thoroughly thought about to make the guests comfortable. We didn’t try the breakfast as we were meeting friends but overheard another guest saying how good it was. We would definitely stay again and recommend.

My mum and I had the most wonderful stay at Westbrook Lodge Guest House, and we honestly couldn't have asked for more.🩵 From the moment we arrived, Tracy and Colin made us feel so welcome. They are genuinely wonderful hosts, and you can tell that so much thought, care and heart has gone into creating such a beautiful place to stay. Everything was impeccable. The guest house is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and has such a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the perfect way to start each day. The location was ideal too – around a 10–15 minute walk from Margate station and only about 5 minutes from the peaceful Westbrook Bay beach, which quickly became one of our favourite spots. It's rare to stay somewhere that feels so personal and cared for, and that really shines through in every little detail. Thank you so much, Tracy and Colin, for making our trip so special. My mum and I left feeling refreshed, looked after and already talking about when we can come back. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Westbrook Lodge to anyone visiting Margate.

Great beachfront location near amenities. Clean room and bathrooms. We could stay in the garden due to the heat.

We stayed during the heatwave so it was not comfortable in terms of airflow or opening windows in the room. A mini fridge would also be a lovely idea to have especially in the summer..🙂

Welcoming staff, loved the place, spaciouse, clean, comfortable. Just a small walk from centre of Margate which was delightful by the beach and allowed a quite environement. Will be back!

Lovely guest house in a quiet part of town. Clean room with its own sink (shared bathroom facilities). Very friendly, hospitable hosts and a good sized, spotlessly clean room. Comfortable beds. Very good value for money. We enjoyed sitting in the garden with a glass of wine from the bar!

It's a bit of a walk to the old town (c. 20-25 mins) - not an issue for us but we did end up getting a taxi at one point. The weather was hot when we stayed and only one of the windows opened, so airflow was a bit of an issue. The room did have a decent fan which we pointed at our beds at night!

This was a really lovely place to stay. We had a family room with shared bathroom. We felt very safe and it was a really nice family environment. There were lots of lovely thoughtful details for the kids, but nothing that would bother you or make it feel "kiddie" if that was not of interest to you. We loved the themed rooms and the sense of comfort and care.

It is in a lovely position. A quiet area, close to the sea with only a short walk into Margate centre. Tracy and Colin are wonderful hosts and the place was spotless and my room was lovely. I had a great breakfast too.

Nothing I didn’t like. It would be nicer to have an en suite (I tend to have to get up in the night to use the toilet) but there were enough bathrooms and they were kept lovely and clean and for a couple of nights it wasn’t an issue at all.

Colin und Tracy sind wirklich wunderbare Gastgeber und helfen gerne bei Fragen weiter. Das Guest House ist sehr gepflegt und man merkt einfach, dass die beiden mit ganzem Herzen bei der Sache sind. Das super Frühstück kann man am Vortag individuell bestellen. Die Auswahl war für uns absolut ausreichend. Ansonsten handelt es sich um eine klassische englische Wohngegend. Ruhig aber nicht abgelegen. In der Nähe gibt es auch Restaurants.
