Love the hotel and staff here. Friendly as they accommodate my rented road bike. Ample parking space for my rented car though it is an open but secured car park
Would have been 25 years since I stayed in a room so outdated. Obviously they have not been renovated in the last 25 years. The pool is not heated and does not get any direct sunlight so the water is always cold. Had dinner at the hotel bar once, by the time I got it, it was cold. The daytime security guard will drive you nuts saluting and calling out to you until you respond to him. Each and every time you walk in and out. The staff are just magnificent, they will do anything to help you.
So everything was ok the beds were comfy the room was clean but we called at 11pm and they said we had to buy an extra pillow…we have NEVER been in a hotel we’re u have to pay for 1 extra pillow the breakfast was average and we booked a connecting room and they said they couldn’t garrente we would get it when we booked 10 months before
“Good hotel for a budget trip. The lady at reception was nice and gave us an early check-in. However, the AC in our room was a bit noisy. The beach is not too far — you can walk there.”
Loved the hotel spotless rooms great guest service my only complaint is the complete lack of socket receptacles in the room for plug in of electrical appliances only 1 exists in entire room? Totally unsuitable for a variety of needs phone lap top charges etc
The hotel is very dated and the rooms have a strange smell (possibly due to their policy of allowing pets in the room). The mattresses are very lumpy and very uncomfortable and I woke up with a sore back after a very bad night's sleep and I normally sleep without interuption. The pillows are thin and they only supply two, if you want more there is an extra charge (I have never heard of a hotel charge for supplying extra pillows in 30 years of visiting Thailand) The televsions are small and the reception poor so it looks like you are watching TV through a snow storm. They are also boxed in so you can't access the HDMI inputs meaning that you can't plug in a laptop or other device, if you want to watch Netflix or other streaming services rather than Thai TV. The component input is exposed but has anyone used a component input this century or have a device that can connect to component inputs nowadays? Car parking isn't on site and when the traffic is bad, it can take 10 minutes to get to (it is only a couple of minutes walk but obviously you have to get your car there in the first place)
I really hate trashing places and leaving bad reviews but this Ibis is by far the vey worst accor property in all of Asia. I’m an Accor D6, Platinum/Diamond member, Accor Shareholders Club, Accor+ and Signature member, so believe me what I’m telling you.The room was so dirty I cancelled most of my stay. They cut corners on everything. Be it on coffee to take away, be it on air conditioning. This was my absolutely last stay after 8 years I’ve been visiting Hua Hin and this place. First they didn’t maintain the shuttle bus to the city center, a valuable asset. Instead they prefer to let the bus stay idly on the parking lot . They apologized saying they don’t get enough staff. I always See 3 people at the reception, two playing on their cellphones. Put them into the shuttle. I am still waiting for my stay refund, considering seriously talking with Accor France about this more than neglected hotel. Then ,breakfast is always crowded , food quality in general is super bad except for the fruit which they hardly replenish. Food was always cold to lukewarm. Even 15 minutes after they brought it out. The location is at the very end of Hua Hin, there is nothing but a seven eleven and a 7 km march to the city center. Look at my pictures and see how dirty and filthy the carpets and the hotel is in general. Look at the filthy upholstery in the restaurant. Well, I’m out, don’t worry, you’ll never have to deal with discerning customers again. Big,but big disappointment.
It had been a while since my last visit to ibis Hua Hin. This trip (check-in: February 1st, check-out: February 2nd, 2025) was a last-minute opportunity to use a travel voucher I'd purchased last year, before it expired on February 28th. The voucher price was a very reasonable 1,200 THB. Hua Hin was bustling, primarily with European tourists and a contingent of young Korean footballers. Thai visitors were a rare sight. The staff, representing ORIGIN, were exceptionally welcoming, with warm smiles and attentive service. As a Platinum member, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a Family Room. ibis Hua Hin seems to have a generous number of these rooms, making upgrades readily available even for standard ibis members. Late check-out was granted without any hesitation, extending my stay until 3:00 PM, despite the hotel being fully booked. Welcome drinks were provided, and I opted for two bottles of Singha beer. Breakfast was included as part of the voucher package (room + breakfast). My Accor Plus membership provided the usual discounts on food and beverages, up to 50%. The room was well-maintained, though some signs of wear were noticeable, as expected with the hotel's age. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, but the hot, warm, and cold water options functioned perfectly. The breakfast buffet met standard ibis expectations, with a daily Thai dish, rice, stir-fried noodles, salad, bread, and croissants. In the late afternoon, a short stroll down a side street led directly to the beach. The weather was fantastic, the water clear, and the waves gentle – perfect for swimming. Happy Hour was a bonus, running from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. For dinner, I ventured out to a nearby Korean BBQ restaurant. Lunch the following day, before departure, was at the hotel, where I again utilized my Accor Plus discount (excluding the already reasonably priced pizza, which had a 10% discount). Overall, it was a delightful stay. The service was excellent, in true ORIGIN style – attentive and efficient. A truly happy holiday!
Pleasant solo trip here in Hua Hin. I was supposed to stay at So Hua Hin. But decided that driving 1 hour into town everything I wanted to be in central Hua Hin didn't make sense. The room is clean and tidy and typical Ibis. I was upgraded as a Platinum member and got a nice platter of fruits as a welcome gift. Car park was not full during my stay and that allowed me to park near the entrance daily. Hotel is very close to BluPort and you're essentially in the centre of Hua Hin. Breakfast is standard Ibis with no complains due to the pricing. Overall a clean a good stay here at Ibis Hua Hin.
Dear Team, This is Akkapol Kinbuangam and Ms. Kessaraporn Maranetara (My wife, email: kessaraporn.mar@gmail.com, Accor Gold). We stayed at ibis Hotel Hua Hin on 16 Nov 2024 to 27 Nov 2024. Please note: All staffs in Lobby and Restaurant are very good. Restaurant : K. BOW TRAINEE (Sorry I can't remember all name, but I can tell - All the staffs in Lobby and Restaurant who served us are very good) All of maids Security guard (Old man) Thank you so much.
Lovely hotel, we enjoyed it very much. Large room and good breakfast. There is access to the beach which is right next to the hotel. My only complaint was that we had ants in the room and on the balcony - the cleaner took care of it every day, but they came back the next day..
Great place to be stay
Good budget hotel, but too many guests with multiple pet dogs allowed in hotel. Accompanied by smell of dog in corridors. Breakfast was very basic for the cost charged.
Breakfast buffet NOT RECOMMENDED. Hotel towels were worn and thread hanging off hand towels.Swimming pool closes every night by 7pm. Very disappointing 😞 The location is good to catch the buses back into town for markets.Only 15 Baht. Markets are good.
Good location bed softer than most in Thailand
We couldn’t make it on our flight to Thailand and tried to reschedule our stay at Ibis Hua Hin but they would not let us reschedule or get a credit for our stay so we lost the total amount we paid for our stay and did not receive any of our money back even though we could not check in. Terrible customer service and would not recommend.
Very nice and convenient. Clean rooms, but small. Very good value for the money. Free parking at the hotel! Very welcoming guard at parking lot.
Thanks
Very nice property. The breakfast buffet is an excellent selection of dishes. The staff are great.
We stayed here 5 years ago and enjoyed our stay back then so thought we would book a night here whilst we were in Hua Hin to see if anything had changed with the hotel and we were both a bit disappointed with the latest trip here. The hotel was very busy compared to our last trip so felt very overwhelming, we didn't manage to get into the pool this time as too many people in there, the rooms were very basic and didn't sleep well due to how small the beds were and the air conditioning wasn't working very well as it was rather warm despite being on the lowest setting. Not much room in the shower either, bathroom felt very cramped. We didn't find the hotel staff as friendly as last time we stayed either, we booked via Accor as we are loyal members and it seemed like the staff didn't understand how to use the system when giving us our welcome drink, or trying to use voucher on the app (which is for Accor members). Service was slow, and when we had food at the bar we felt like we were being watched by the staff as at the the time we were the only ones in the bar. Don't think we will be returning unless improvements are made. There are much nicer hotels in the area for not much more money, that are not too busy.
We stayed 4 nights and it was enjoyable. The breakfast buffet is good, but not over the top. Your within walking distance to a 7/11 and a mini C for daily necessities. You’ll need transportation to get to shopping and downtown. We rented a small scooter and got around ok. There’s a place called Smile Scooter and Laundry a 4 minute walk south from the hotel. 200 Baht for rental a day. As far as the room it was quite small, but adequate. Ibis seems to be in a lot of places we like to go, so we will use them more. They are not too expensive
The staff were extremely unhelpful. Fire we were charged extra for the room, then we had to pay cash before we were able to receive some French fries in room service, and parking is miles away. The staff were very unhelpful. My strong advice is to stay well clear of this hotel in Hua Hin
Nice hotel in Hua hin with facilities, the location is good, you can walk to the sea through the nearest alley and can also walk to the tamarind market which know well one. I stayed in the family room, the room and clean and well maintained. the new bed sheet for the bunk bed is cute. The hotel provides a crib for baby. The pool is small but you child still enjoy it. The restaurant is close at night but you can still order something from the bar
The room size is quite ridiculous it's so tiny thank god I was alone impossible for 2 people also the lack of power receptacles...1 double! Insane won't stay again I like my space
The team very help full, Happy welcome and good service. Important is Pet allowed without charging. Hotel have 2 areas of parking and they are have pick up service from 2nd parking because far for walk. Hotel is super clean. We will be back when passing Hua-hin again.
Arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a very happy and pleasant security guard.......then things went from bad to worse!!! Reception staff unpleasant and unprofessional on booking in, we were a large party of 8 rooms for the first night and 6 rooms for our second night, we were all separated on different floors and everyone commented about how small the rooms were and looked dated, the carpets on every floor looked stained and dirty, but the rooms were clean to be fair! The restaurant was closed at night time on both nights but open for the dreadful breakfast which doesn't cater at all for European guests! Drinks at the bar were extremely expensive and served by miserable uninterested staff! The pool is way too small and again looks dated!! Each room has only 2 pillows which are flat, so I went to reception and asked for 2 more.....I was told I could have one for free but would have to pay 50 baht for the other one!!!! I had a hotel myself for 32 years and have visited hundreds of others.... Never have I had to pay for a pillow.....it's not the money but the principal, I refused to pay on checkout!! I have stayed at numerous ibis hotels and yes I know they are budget but this is ridiculous especially after our party has spent over 20,000baht on our stay! The security guard needs to teach the other lazy disinterested staff to smile 😁
Pool
Incredible things! Khun Mew, Khun Ann, and Khun Pang are exceedingly kind and powerful. They are the ideal team because they provide good suggestions for the surrounding areas and helpful additional information about Huahin! I was really glad to stay here, and I will definitely return. If you want to relax and have fun, I recommend!!!
I went to this hotel because I bought a package that included the Vana Nava Hua Hin water park. I traveled with 6 friends. The water park was fun. I Stay at ibis Huahin, The hotel looked clean. The receptionist named K.Ann takes care of checking in very well and change the fridge in my room for a new one because it's not working. Importantly, this hotel is close to the market. Near a convenience store Makes it easy to find food or hang out. Breakfast tastes general. Overall good. I like it.
I know this is a Budget hotel but it does not mean budgeted customer service. As a Platinum member, when I checked in I was given welcome drink coupon, which clearly stated “upto 2 drinks for double occupancy”. We had double occupancy but the staff insisted only one drink. It’s a small matter and I didn’t argue. But, thought it was not right. Any other hotel would not argue with a Platinum member but this hotel chose to. The issue is not one drink or 2 drinks but the entire approach to customer experience. Train your staff accordingly.
The hotel itself is lovely, basic with everything you need. Staff are very friendly and pleasant. They have a shuttle bus which on arriving found it was just to shuttle people to the car park, what a waste they could make money by offering a shuttle bus service into Hua Hin and back. The pool, although adequate was freezing and the steps going into the pool and out are very dangerous, made of chrome plated shiny metal, they are extremely slippery when trying to enter and exit the pool, my foot slipped twice and I have ended up with a couple of very painful and huge bruises on my leg. The breakfast, although adequate, didn't cater for Europeans, only fried eggs offered, plenty of fresh fruit which was delicious, the juice offered had been watered down which spoiled the flavour. I cannot stress enough that the staff were lovely, already with a smile whenever you saw them and so helpful, again a shortage of staff who could speak English, it was sometimes difficult to speak with them. The hotel is brilliant for a one or two night stay.
The location is a little bit south of central HuaHin. There is ample parking space. Reception is friendly and efficient. The room is big enough and has all you need: a small fridge with water, safe, water boiler and instant coffee/tea, slippers. The room can be made very dark and is completely quiet. The pool is nice, but for the unnecessary esoteric new-age melodies that I can perfectly do without. I did not book breakfast, but it can be had at an additional 177 baht. Very recommended, good value for money, especially for an overnight stay.
Good
-
the stay was OK but your staff dont speak enough english and dont know the area well enough to help a tourist
The bed.
The only thing "I can say that the pool was to cold for me. Otherwise it is a great family place or singles place
WE took the family cat with us. Everything worked out ok. No problem at all with that. This is a budget hotel with pretty well managed services. Everything was clean and well organized. The restaurant is a bit average but OK. Parking is sometimes an issue but they have second parking area opposite. So no major issues with that.
Good
Stay as to be expected - no consideration for senior or handicap parking - i'm OK with off site parking - but to run across a busy city street as a fresh operated hip replacement - asked if there is a shuttle in PM - reply yes - only the morning the driver for the shuttle did not show up for work - at 10 PM no onsite parking - no Handicapped Parking - only off site - no shuttle - packed up - requested refund of $68.17 at the desk - can not refund - Loaded the car - after car was loaded, clerk came & said, "Oh, you can now park at the red zone in front of the entrance - that was too late - booked with Hotel.com a room for 2 nights.
Have been back to this place many times Comfortable and clean rooms, helpfull staff Good location, petfrendly ,easygoing hotel Wipaporn(office manager) is the right person in right place (Super) Ann and Pang (front desk helpers) Good times are back in Hua hin! Cheers!
Stay for a quick weekend getaways. The check-in was super fast and team is friendly. Overall design is similar to any Ibis, so nothing to rave about. The room is comfortable and spacious without complicated furniture etc. The room does smell a bit moldy when I enter, and the wall are paper thin, so you can definitely hear everyone. The shower is ok, small and standard of Ibis. No amenities except shower gel, so don't forget to bring your own.
Clean, efficient, easy access.
It was a nice short stay with very nice staff. It met the standard of ibis. Good location that allows us to walk to the beach only 5 minutes walk and 10 minutes walk to Cicada market. Only one tiny comment, we paid for a buffet breakfast but we got one breakfast set instead. I understand the COVID conditions, but it could be better if the hotel offers us more than one main dish which was slightly small.
Reasonable price with standard room condition & service
Great stay. Clean. Good service. Excellent breakfast. One criticism. Rooms need to have USB charging outlets. Bring your own . Front desk does not have them
Still in Ibis Standard as super clean in the room.
A few excellent points : - Clean and super clean in the room and public area - Prime location near shopping area - Strictly on Social Distancing esp Breakfast ........hotel staff taking care like a la cart, booking slot of breakfast timing to limit no of guest
Stayed in ibis Hua Hin many times, never got clean room but dusty in front of the fridge everyday and any time. Otherwise, the room looks very modern, however quite small and cramped. Bad wifi. Enough parking lots, inattractive swimming pool because it is on the ground floor right beside of parking lot. Breakfast very atmospheric and relaxed. Beach is a 4 minute walk down the alleyway nearby.
Difficult time as the cot if virus shut down was taking effect but they didn’t let it bother them and the standards were impeccably high.
Is a typical Ibis hotel, breakfast not so “good” just normal, room are big but is very convenient and walkable to the market. In the front desk have shuttle company you can connect with Emmy she will give you a great service and good price , totally trustable!
Great location easy use of shuttle and green trucks. Bathroom needed a good scrub all around the door and base hinges and door seal. They were discus ting.
I found poops in the toilet and sand on the bed, questionable on cleanliness of the hotel. Informed this to front office staff but couldn't care less
No toiletries provided, toilet paper was hung in an awkward position. Worst of all, is was not clear in the web that family room bunk bed is only for children. We were unable to cancel on spot and was charged 500bhat for an extra person. Will never visit again, can get better value hotel along same route.
The property was a 3 star hotel positioned about 2/3 miles from Hua Hin city Centre. The hotel was close to the beach. Room was fairly small but clean with balcony with a distant sea view possible Breakfast buffet was adequate with both Western and Eastern food available for the mixed nationality clientele Staff were mostly pleasant and helpful.
1) Unhappy when checking in, staff is unfriendly n ask to pay for extra when I already book for a family room for 3Adults. 2) Never do the housekeeping properly, never empty the bins in the room.
Staffs are amazing! Our room is upgraded from standard to family for free in our New Year trip. The bed is super comfy and love bears & Playstation in the room. My mom forget a mobile in the room and staffs get in touch with us quickly before we left the hotel. They make our trip perfect!
Its convenient & well located but lack of nearest amenities like big shopping mall etc.
All good except Aircon On low ... still to cold 😤 Will be back
I like simple & nice concept of this property. The room can have better light, let say white light, so make it easier to read.
Good budget choice at the southern end of the beach. Great breakfast!
Parking lot so far from Hotel and no shuttle bus service.
everything is good.
Due to seasonal, understandable that parking will be full but if it’s not will be better as well as choice of bed during check in
overall good
Very good service and hospitality. Staff knows good english. We wanted to watch football at the bar, and we got exactly what we wanted, with 1-for-1 cocktails. Driver of the shuttle bus drove us a total of 2 times to the city centre (Hua Hin Night Market). I love the staff at the carpark, he always greets us with such friendliness, he must love his job. Rooms were great and clean, with a mini balcony. Breakfast was alright, with sausages, eggs and toast. Very short walk to the beach, Cicada Market, and some massage shops.
Family rooms with bunk beds and PS4 for kids. Location is great! Cicada market is roughly 600m or 5min walking distance. 7 eleven, Tesco lotus are 1-2min walking distance.
good , comfortable
The room was well maintained especially the linen was very clean. However the toilet was slightly too small.
room and services are good same as my last stay in June2019.
Great value for money, in a good area
First time to Hua hin ,hotel was in a quiet area but very close to 2 weekend markets with excellent seafood and barbeque, drinks etc. The beach is a few minute walk away and is very clean with not many people around. Bar street is extremely slow being low season. The breakfast buffet is excellent with delicious food and good coffee ,drinks etc. This hotel needs to enforce the no swimming rules to 08;00 to open as about 10 screaming kids were in the pool at 06:13 am one morning with the Chinese parents watching them waking everybody near the pool, extremely annoying listening to this for hours in the early morning.
Near to cicada market, tamarind market but the facilities are very basic, breakfast is very basic , room a bit old but everything is standard
Everything about this hotel - amenities, room cleanliness and comfort - is just nice for the price I paid. I didn't expect more. Check in and check out were swift. I like the idea of paying for breakfast only when you need it. Breakfast was not bundled in the room rate, this is fair. And the price for breakfast was reasonable, only about 180bath. The shuttle to the few notable shopping complexes, Bluport and Market Vilalge to as far as the Clock Tower was a great service. I was able to take the shuttle to Bluport and walk back at night. Walking time from Bluport back to hotel was only under 15 minutes. Great stay, Highly recommended.
Overall service and condition is good. However, breakfast should be improved to be more variety.
Everything was Okay and good for stay with my lovely dog

The housekeeping was fine but the varieties of food for the morning breakfast was rather limited and of the same kind. Needs to improve on the breakfast spread...
nice location, clean, comfort, breakfast is ok, good service
The room smelled and the bathroom was moldy with a dead cockroach. It's an okay place for cheap short term stay.
Reception staff were very helpful and friendly but bthe room was a little small besides that all was Very good
Stayed only one night during the weekends, since is near to cicada market (about 5 mins walk). Could hear noises outside the room, especially in the middle of night, so could be a problem for light sleepers. Room is not big and toilet is also very compact.
Pet allowed - in sensitive for muslim
Put a request for high floor n near to lift. Disappointed for not getting it done. Toilet ventilation not functioning. Giving me a bad impression of not having a good conditioned room when booking from hotels.com.
Expedia was a good website but I didn’t like one thing in hua hin is swimming pools because open late and closed too early!
Nice clean rooms but no sufficient car parks on site, have to walk a bit from across the road.
Room 505, Water flood on the bathroom floor and draining slowly after shower.
+/It is a good hotel with reasonable price (budget price), that you can walk to the peaceful beach between Huahin and Khao Takiab in 3 minute. +/Good location during the weekend, which you can walk to Cicada and Tamarind market by foot. +/Free shuttle bus to the center in several times per day :) -/no slipper, paper shoes provided in the room Overall, Great one!
Walking distance to Cicada Night Market. Behind 200m will reach to the beach. The room we booked is big as it is a family room. A king bed and bunk bed. Bunk bed were noticed to be shorter in length. More suitable for kids or ladies. Breakfast okay. At the lobby, can book daily trips or taxi. Family room is provided with PS4 game console. Surrounding area not busy, but only 2km to Bluport Shopping Mall, convenient to get food and grocery, and 3km to Market Village. Hua Hin airport distance approx 20mins taxi ride.
Rooms are ok., breakfast very pour. Staff really good, speacially Elisabeth.
Good manage the space but should not compare the four stars hotels’ service or amenities.
We stayed for one night ..hotel has all that one requires. Room comfortable breakfast good and staff very pleasant
Ibis standard hotel about 5 kilometers from central Hua Hin. There is a 2 hourly shuttle bus to the shopping malls but often full. Taxis are expensive by Thai standards. Unfortunately someone in a nearby room had a small noisy dog, not sure what policy ibis has about pets in rooms ?
If have toothbrush as a room amenity, it would be great
The hotel is located in a very good spot - closed to night market in 500m distance and convenience stores. We stayed in the family room which was big enough for 4 members. Room's very clean. Breakfast was nice and plenty for the guests (although food choices were limited). I recommend this hotel and it is one of our top list.
The walls were too thin. We heard loud noise from the hall way and other rooms. Bathroom was abit dusty.
The stay was oke! Like all the Ibis hotels. clean and nice and vriendly people. and a good locacion.
From the moment we checked in we felt welcome here; simple things like providing a magazine about the local area, explaining the shuttle bus schedule and a smile. Rooms are small but perfect ... spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, home comforts such a kettle and a huge choice ofTV channels. The pool is warm with seats and sun beds around it. Free shuttle to Bluport, Market Village and the clock tower. If I had any criticism it would be that dogs should not be allowed ... a few times you get the whiff of dog in the lobby and near the "dog friendly tables" in the dining room (not hygienic) despite staff's best efforts to keep the place clean.
Would needed to Update because due to it's age. other than that reasonable
