Un merci chaleureux pour la personne qui travaille dans la réception, serviable et sympa. Jolie Chambre et clean, buffet petit déjeuner varié. Jus naturels et fraîche. Capsule pour café. Piscine magnifique sur le toit. Je vous conseille cet hôtel. Je reviendrai la prochaine fois.

Le seul point positif de cet hôtel est son personnel à la réception, souriant et disponible

Femme de ménage qui passe récupérer les serviettes et le tapis de bain sans les remplacer et sans faire la chambre, demande de remplacement du tapis de bain aux oubliettes, un des deux ascenseurs en panne, durant tout le séjour, il faut monter à la reception avec votre valise par l'escalier à moins de le savoir avant votre arrivée et de déposer vos bagages à la reception avant de stationner votre véhicule, mais la surprise ne s'arrête pas là, le jour de mon départ, le samedi 11 juillet la direction décide de ne pas servir le petit dej, prétexte pas assez de clients, donc buffet vide, il faut passer commande pour espérer manger quelque chose. Ça sera bien ma dernière fois dans cet hôtel

Breakfast was outstanding, huge choice and great taste. The lobby was light and airy.

Upper balcony/pool area was completely misrepresented. There were no cushions, the pool was emptied and I would of expected a higher level of maintenance. Overall though I would recommend the hotel though.

Le personnel de l’accueil, le personnel qui s’occupe de l’entrée des clients dans l’hôtel, ainsi que le personnel du bar et du restaurant mais aussi le personnel de ménage sont très accueillant. Je vous recommande de loger dans cet hôtel .

Le professionnalisme du Directeur qui suite à un désagrément dans ma chambre sur 2 nuits, m'a surclassé dans une suite et m a offert une heure de massage. Le personnel a l acceuil au restaurant, d ailleurs excellent restaurant avec beaucoup de choix, est aussi à souligner. Le petit déjeuner est parfait avec beaucoup de choix. Une mention spéciale pour Souhir, la masseuse qui a des doigts d or, et côté massage j en ai eu un un peu partout dans le monde. Je dis félicitations à Souhir. Des que je reviendrai en Tunisie, je reviendrai au Novotel centre ville.

Starting by the check-in, Mohamed, the responsible of the night shift, was extremely helpful! Offering me as well a room upgrade! The room was fine, the other staff, especially on the front desk, were all helpful! The breakfast is fine, but i didn't understand why is 70% of it is for the sweets!

Room - with the air conditioning working, the air in the room is poor, stuffy. Despite changing rooms, the air quality in both rooms is the same.

Gute Lage. Pool auf dem Dach, abends schön mit Cocktails und Essen. Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr guter Auswahl und schön zubereitet. Zimmer einfach und funktionell, aber etwas karg. Nur ein Glas und eine Tasse im Doppelzimmer. Servicegedanke ausbaufähig, Mitarbeiter grüßen und beachten Gäste kaum. Gut als einfaches Business-Hotel, aber nicht zum Wohlfühlen.

Points positifs Nous avons passé un séjour agréable et reposant. La chambre correspondait bien aux photos de Booking et offrait le confort attendu. Le petit-déjeuner, inclus dans notre réservation, était généralement complet et varié, avec la possibilité de demander des ajouts à la demande — un vrai plus, surtout pour les enfants. Le personnel, que ce soit à la réception ou en cuisine, a été d’une disponibilité et d’une gentillesse remarquables, toujours prêt à rendre service avec le sourire.

Points à améliorer Nous avons toutefois remarqué de légères odeurs par moments dans la chambre. Un petit effort sur ce point permettrait de rendre l’expérience encore plus agréable.

Overall great Hotel - 2 priorities when you travel on business, WI-Fi and AC especially when 40 degrees outside. Menu dinner menu somewhat limited and hasn’t changed in 3 years. Burger wasn’t great, bread was stale. The Brique with Tuna was excellent.

Très bon séjour passé dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est tellement professionnel, gentil, souriant. Le restaurant proposait de bons plat et le service a été au top!

Un séjour agréable à Tunis , piscine sur le roof top avec une belle vue. Personnel très agréable en particulier Souhir a l’espace bien être et sa manager. Très bon conseil pour la visite .

Very friendly and helpfull staff, clean rooms. The beds are not too comfortable if you prefer a softer matress. Quiet atmosphere and easy to get a taxi from this location.

When we need a quiet, safe, clean place for our family to stay when we’re in Tunis, this is our spot. It’s reliable and peaceful.

This is my 4th time staying at Novotel Tunis Mohammed V. While the staff are nice and helpful as always, I believe that the quality of rooms and the service has deteriorated drastically. I had problem with the WC closet which was leaking water. After reporting the problem, someone came to check but explained that it would take time to fix it and left and I wasn’t offered to change the room afterwards. Water was being wasted during my whole stay of 5 nights. The menu at the restaurant was very poor and had very limited choices. The breakfast had no choices and I was forced to have my breakfast everyday outside as I didn’t believe that it was worth paying the extra for it. Same for dinner when I wanted to have something there but I was very limited in choices that I had to eat outside everyday day. I really recommend the situation to be reviewed and the service to be improved. I have been staying there for 2 years and each time I visit Tunisia for business and it is a pity to see such decline in service. You can check my comments from 2023 to see the difference. I really don’t like changing my hotels but I will be forced to if I find the situation the same the next time I visit.

Comfortable room

The hotel is in a convenient location for moving to other places in Tunisia. The staff is nice and helpful, rooms are quite spacious and comfortable.

The price is very high comparing to other hotels. If I was traveling on my own I would look for more affordable option.

Very slow checkin and elevators had many problems

This is a nice hotel opposite the Cultural Center. The meals were good, the spa was good and it has a wonderful rooftop restaurant and view. Great for business trips.

Good location, enough space in the room and a nice Skybar with a beautiful view. Wahib always welcomed us in a warm and professional way.

Schönes Businesshotel im Bankenviertel. Abends wenig Möglichkeiten, Essen zu gehen. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auch weiter weg. Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Pool und die Rooftop Bar sind wirklich schön. Frühstücksbuffet umfangreich und lecker. 🙂

A améliorer : Au vu de l'état de l'hôtel, de la chambre, du service proposé, et du petit déjeuner moyen, le prix de la chambre est beaucoup trop cher. Et j'en ai fait des hôtels avec mon métier ! A maintenir : L'accueil était au rdv, avec des sourires, et personne disponible. Le parking est un vrai plus.

First Impression is the Last Impression. I've never stayed here, however, I can already sense that my experience would have been far from satisfactory. The hotel’s service left much to be desired, particularly in terms of communication. Lack of Responsiveness is one of the Hotel's major issue. It's failure to answer phone calls and emails despite multiple attempts to get in touch for both pre-arrival queries and in-stay requests, I received no response. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that positions itself as a mid-range to premium option.

Absolutely horrible hotel do not stay here the AC is very weak you check in and and then maintenance comes though AC is leaking the whole time I was there only thing good about the whole place was the housekeeping they were phenomenal the food is absolutely terrible stay somewhere else you’ll thank me later

A/C in the room didn’t work!

This was my second time staying at this place. It was again for business. As I wrote in my first review, amazing location close to everything (airport, city center…etc), amazing and helpful staff. We held a confer at the hotel this time and the staff were very helpful. The conference hall had everything we needed. It was clean and we found it ready before the kick off of our event which helped us a lot. We definitely stay there again. I think the only improvement can be having an option for included breakfast instead of charged as extra.

All well! Great location. Friendly service. Great food. Clean rooms. Light and airy conference room. After work, I can especially recommend the professional spa treatments with lovely Souhir (great massages). Wonderful view from roof top terrace.

The hotel and services are very solid, but the hotel is too expensive for what it offers.

Not much variety for breakfast

This is a letter I sent to TRAVELURO - beware of being scammed as you can read from other people who were not as fortunate as me! Should be 0 stars, but 1 star is minimum to make a review!! ******* Thankyou for refunding me within 10 minutes of making the booking for a £12 "special offer" against the normal price of £156 on "Booking com" for a 1 night stay in the NOVOTEL TUNIS! I was astonished to see the £12 back in my account so quickly! I broke my own rules by not first checking Trust Pilot, Trip Advisor and other review sites about TRAVELURO before I booked with your "disgusting company"! I see now "the scam"!!! You return this small amount of money, give me 10% "bonus" off my next booking which will encourage me to rebook with TRAVELURO at the Novotel or other hotels of this standard at a much higher "Normal" price. Then, that is when you will complete the scam by giving me a false sense of security with this refund and an apologetic letter explaining the "technical difficulties with the booking". I then make ANOTHER more expensive booking with TRAVELURO and never see my money again and the hotel concerned denies having any dealings with"TRAVELURO" when I arrive at the reception!! I have always used reliable Booking.com for 15 years travel to 45 countries without not even one problem!!! So thankyou for the £12 "refund" and in case you had any ideas about trying to obtain money from the card I paid it by - don't bother - the card is cancelled!!!! 😂 I shall also be warning all my contacts about TRAVELURO and the scam repeating that "if it looks to good to be true" then it probably isn't true! If this letter just stops only one person from being scammed, it will be a victory!!!! I only know of TRAVELURO on looking at NOVOTEL in Tunis! Be aware of this company when booking hotels, anywhere in the world!!! It certainly is brining the name of Novotel Tunis into disrepute with these "scam" bookings! ******* Happy travels and be warned! 👍

the boulevard in front of the hotel is very busy and the hotel is not well soundproofed, so it's very noisy in the room.

The staff are friendly and very welcoming, location is nearby the downtown 5 minutes walking distance to all locations and markets.

room design was weird, The toilet is separated from the bathroom and basin and you need to walk out to a different door in order to wash your hands, Air condition is very loud even on the lowest settings.

One of the worst novotel hotels i hv stayed in . Rooms r small , dated , furniture chipped and dirty, horrible breakfast with flies all over the food. Staff at the bar and breakfast are not helpful. The staff are more intrested in tips. At lunch the staff and extra meal which i said i didnt order he the started saying it would be big problem for him so i paid for 1 extra dish. As i thought it may hv been an honest mistake. When we went for a walk we saw a lot of con artists one telling us he works at our hotel and needed 20 dinar to feed his family and will pay me back. At the checkout the bell boy got us a taxi and he was on the phone while he got us a taxi and when the taxi arrived i told the bell boy and taxi guy to take me and my family to airport carthge and the taxi driver drove us around 5 min kept circling the area . Luckly i had google maps on and was tracking the route then he took a turn to a different motorway so i stop him . he pretended he didnt knew we were going to airport and said i thought you were going to carthage city then he started calling someone i m pretty sure it was the bell boy . I said take me back to the hotel or airport i had to tell him to follow the google maps route. On reaching the airport he quickly turned off the meter its was either 6 or 7 dinar i payed him 10 dinar . Be really carefull when staying at this hotel or in this area i will not recommend it to anyone
