Très bel accueil et gentillesse des personnes à la réception ou nous avons pu laisser nos bagages à la réception car l'appartement n'était pas encore prêt lors de notre arrivée. Nous sommes allés visiter Carvoeiro avant de recevoir un message que notre appartement était prêt. L'appartement est très bien situé car toutes les visites (boardwalk de Carvoeiro, magnifiques sentiers pour marcher proche des falaises à admirer l'eau claire de la mer, etc.) de Carvoeiro peuvent toute se faire à pied et proche de la plage. L'appartement que nous avons choisis était avec une très belle terrasse que nous avons pu profiter de magnifiques couchers de soleil ainsi que d'exceptionnel souper à l'extérieur. L'appartement était très spacieux, lumineux et avec tout le confort nécessaire pour 4 personnes.

AO49 apartment was exceptionally clean and modern, lots of space. Good facilities and comfortable.

Our booking was for a deluxe 2 bed with balcony & sea view, this particular unit did have a balcony but the sea view was blocked by trees. I resented the very steep hills by the end of our stay, as we weren't rewarded with much of a view! Our washing machine door was broken, and was not fixed while we were there. Both showers were lovely and powerful but overflowed when in use due to drains being blocked. The lovely large kitchenette was great, but was disappointed that no very very basic items were supplied - like wash up liquid, salt/pepper/oil etc. A small (and v cheap) under sink cleaning kit would benefit the owner and the guest in the long run...very strange that these aren't supplied as all other holiday rentals we have used have had these basic little items as standard.

Baratas em casa e teias de aranha. Ficamos sem luz, o que ficou resolvido 2:30 depois. Os funcionárias da receção não demonstraram muita atenção aos problemas apresentados.

Very good stay overall, nice pool and acceptable walking distance to the main areas of interest.

I'm sorry to mention but there was a rather unpleasant musty smell in the room, though not teribble bad. Also, the pictures on the website do not necessarily represent the room you will actually stay in. Not knowing this, we unloaded all our luggage at the reception (we were not stopped by anybody though it was obvious what we were doing) and only after they have explained to us that we would stay somewhere else. We had to put the luggages back in the car and leave. It didn't even ruin our day, not to say our stay, but it's good for others to know. If this aspect was explained somewhere and we missed it, then it's our fault.

Por el dinero que cobran podían reformar el apartamento. Las puertas viejisimas, no cierran. Los cuartos de baño super antiguos. La cortina de la ducha más antigua todavía. Cortinas del salón descosidas los bajos y viejas. Uno de los cojines sin funda y sucisimo. Ventanas y puerta del comedor de aluminio correderas que no cierran y la solución un palo para evitar que no puedan entrar desde el exterior. Los muebles de la terraza de madera daba miedo sentarse por si se rompían de viejos que son. Y aún así la estancia fue medianamente agradable.

We loved the swimming pool right outside our apartment, so we could sit on our balcony whilst kids swam in the pool. Also the apartment was really spacious

We had some ants in the apartment, but the staff were really good and sorted it out immediately.

The apartment was great. Had everything we needed and location was great. Useful having two bathrooms to support the two bedrooms. Pools are close and great for adults and kids.

Het complex ligt op slechts 5 minuutjes lopen van het gezellige centrum en strand van Carvoeiro, terwijl je er geen last van hebt, want het is heel rustig. Het is overigens wel een beetje klimmen want het complex ligt een stuk hoger. Meerdere zwembaden, maar wij hebben alleen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad het dichts bij ons appartement. Geen issue met 'handdoekje leggen', er was altijd wel plek.

Het appartement was niet het nieuwste, en ook het meubilair kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken.

De locatie is op wandelafstand van het centrum. Het appartement is heel ruim en heeft 2 badkamers, een mooi, ruim terras en goed te verkoelen met de airco.

De bedden zijn echt niet goed. Heel oude matrassen. Echt aan vervanging toe. Er zijn geen voorzieningen zoals een kleine hoeveelheid afwasmiddel, peper, zout, olie, schotelvod, wasmiddel, ...

C'est verdoyant donc il y a des insectes. Le domaine est sur les hauteurs de Carvoeiro et comme il n'y a pas grand chose à Carvoeiro, on ne descend plus ..

The apartment was spacious and clean. It was also cleaned regularly. The view from the balcony was lovely. The apartment was right next to the pool and in our area there was a large pool and a baby pool - both were lovely. There were several other pools in other areas of the resort. The property was very close to the village but may not be suitable for those with mobility issues as the hill is extremely steep.

The noise! From our apartment (superior 2 bed sea view apartment) you can hear noise from the village until very late at night (every night) which made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. The kitchen didn’t have enough plates/cups etc. We couldn’t really sit out for dinner on the balcony as there were quite a lot of seagulls and the balcony furniture was too big for the space.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Wohnungen sind offensichtlich von unterschiedlichem Standard / Eigentümern. Unsere Wohnung war leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Backofen kaputt / Sofa völlig durchgesessen / Küchenausstattung völlig alt und unzeitgemäß). Wie gesagt, dies trifft definitiv nicht die Anlage im Allgemeinen, sondern ist abhängig von den jeweiligen Eigentümern. Die Anlage selbst bekommt von uns 5 Sterne. Unsere genutzte Wohnung 5 Sterne für die Lage und 2 Sterne für die Ausstattung.

reusachtige kakkerlakken, appartement met absoluut geen comfort, oncomfortabele bank, 2 kleding hangers voor 4 personen, zeer sobere inrichting, Het was appartement die op de lijst stond voor renovatie werd me verteld, licht in badkamer die het niet deed, gerepareerd werden tot twee keer toe en elke keer weer kapot gingen, weinig stopcontact punten in keuken, wc reservoir die zeer slecht voliep, en wc brillen alle kanten op wiebelden. problemen werden wel getracht op te lossen door afvoerkanaal af te dichten en een spuitbus met gif tegen kakkerlakken en licht te repareren, maar helaas geen succes wc bij zwembad verstopt vies en smerig terwijl het twee keer daags schoongemaakt wordt?

The apartment was lovely, in fact it was much nicer than we were expecting! Very spacious and clean with plenty of room for a family of 4 and very well equipped. The TV had all the UK channels which was a bonus as it meant we could watch the World Cup! Location is great, 5 minutes to town/ the beach. We didn’t have a car but there looked to be plenty of parking. Pool was excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Be aware no shower gel, shampoo, washing up liquid etc is provided. Similarly no tea, sugar etc. This is made clear in the info provided prior to the stay, but maybe easy to miss so hopefully this is useful to someone. Take your own supplies if you can as the local mini markets are not cheap (less of a big deal if you have a car though as there are bigger shops out of town I believe)

Keine Müllsäcke, Geschirrspültabs und Untersetzer für Pfannen vorhanden. Spüli ebenfalls nicht vorhanden. Wohnung renovierungsbedürftig!

Obiekt starszy, ale bardzo zadbany. Ogrody i zieleń przepiękne, uwielbiam roślinność egzotyczna. Sam apartament bardzo czysty i przyjemny. Położenie obiektu świetne, można było z różnych stron miasteczka do niego dotrzeć. Pieszo idealnie na plażę, do restauracji czy na kładki przy klifach. Szczerze polecam.

Spacy appartment with direct access to swimming pool. Close to center. Quiet place.

Liked the fact that the housekeeping team regularly visited with clean towels, toilet paper etc which I don’t believe this service was evident on the booking.com website. Local town was very accessible and within pleasant walk . Staff were very amicable and addressed any queries with regard to booking immediately.

Supermarket 5€ uber, lovely beach. Sunbeds on beach €30 half day 9-2, or 2-7, or €50 full day for 2 or 3 people. Lots of bars, restaurants close by. Cliff top walk with a lovely bar at the end. Bengali cave boat trip was fabulous €32 each.

At the top of a very steep hill so if you have mobility problems you will need a car. But there’s also plenty of free parking everywhere.

Better instructions for finding the room required. Outside areas including pool areas unkempt and on needed of maintenance, Asked for our balcony to be cleaned but it wasn’t. The fridge was damaged and not repaired during our stay.

Wonderful clean comfortable apartment. Has everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Plenty of room. Great location. Hosts left lovely guest book for us to sign - nice personal touch. We fed the cats for them.

Many evenings there were people including children using the pool which is supposed to be closed from 8 pm. This was a pity as it made noise during quieter part of the evening when sitting outside at apartment. We didn't approach them about this but perhaps it should be made clear that pool is not accessible after 8pm.

Great sea view and location in Carvoeiro

Location excellent. Staff attentive and helpful. Perfect for travelling with kids. Close to lovely restaurants and the beach.

The hire for high chair and travel cot was €10 a day so €70 for the week. This felt a bit too expensive. The ikea high chair and travel cot could be bought for less than this combined! We felt this was asking too much. We would suggest €10-20 for the week would seem more reasonable.

We liked the spacious apartment, it was very comfortable for our family. The location was quite good, parking was easy and convenient right next to the property. The apartment was clean and well maintained. We also appreciated that the kitchen was very well equipped with many tools and everything needed for cooking.

We had difficulties reaching the property on arrival because there was a city festival happening. We spent around one hour trying to get there, but the police blocked the roads and did not provide any alternative route. We tried calling the host several times, but nobody answered, which was very stressful after a long trip. Another issue was hygiene — twice during our stay I had to catch very large cockroaches in the room, around 5 cm in size. Also, I informed reception that the bathroom sink was clogged, but unfortunately it was never fixed, so during the whole stay the water was draining very slowly and stayed in the sink.

It was comfy, Clean, Kitchen well equipped, Plenty of room.

Fantastic large 3 bed apartment that more than accomadated our group of 4. It contained all the utendils we needed and also had beach toys umbrellas etc if needed. We were on ground floor and a few steps from our pool. Very quiet location up a big hill from the town! Its hard to escape the hills in Carvoeiro...you just get used to them! We arrived late at night and were able to collect the key from a lock box as reception was closed. It took us a wee while to find our apartment but that may have been our map reading skills. The resort is big and split into blocks with their own pools. We used uber to get about or walked, as we didnt have a car. The taxis were able to pick us up at our front door which was very convenient. Just a tip, if you are self catering its worth driving or taking an ubera few kms out of town to the big supermarket to get your supplies. Local minimarkets have the basics and are a bit more expensive plus you will have to carry the shopping up the steep hills. Would highly recommend it.

I had booked assuming we would have a sea view but we didn't , we had a big hedge blocking the view , only down side to apartment.

The view from our premium 2 bedroom apartment was fabulous. Getting around was easy but with a substantial climb to get to the resort. Lots of dishes, cutlery and platters.

The climb is very difficult for people with mobility difficulties (one of my friends struggled). I quite enjoyed the challenge and workout😁 but I suggest that very important detail be very visibly stated in the description so people know before booking. It would have been appreciated if there had been a pod or 2 for the dishwasher as well as a small container of dishwashing soap. If not included, I would have like to have been told when Monte Dourado messaged me- I would have been prepared, had to go out to buy so that I could do the dishes). Some glasses were NOT well washed because I suspect that previous washing was done without dishwashing pods.

Beautiful view of the town. The room look very nice.

The shower and sink in the one bathroom did not drain. When trying to use the stove it tripped the breaker and shut the power off. No cleaning supplies or personal hydrogen care provided. At times Parking was a issue.

Ik reisde met 2 vriendinnen naar de Algarve. We hadden een appartement voor 4 personen maar dit was veel ruimer dan we hadden verwacht. We hadden 2 ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Daarnaast was er ook een aangenaam balkon. Het appartement was proper. Verder is het appartement perfect gelegen. Carvoeiro is een ideaal, charmant plekje om te verblijven bij een tripje naar de Algarve.

Het appartement heeft geen olie, boter, kruiden, afwasmiddel of dergelijke. Het zou handig zijn moest dit wel aanwezig zijn. De afwezigheid hiervan werd wel duidelijk op voorhand gecommuniceerd en was dus geen verrassing.

El apartamento era muy grande y cómodo. La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca del centro. Tiene una piscina muy agradable y las vistas (dependiendo que apartamento te toque) es hermosa. El personal de recepción fueron muy amables.

Inicialmente nos dieron el apartamento 35 y estábamos literalmente con nuestra ventana en la piscina, sin ninguna privacidad. Pedimos el cambio y nos pasaron al 37 lo que mejoró muchísimo nuestra experiencia. Tener en cuenta que son apartamentos muy antiguos, con mobiliario de los años 80.

Quiet, safe, easy to find parking, great pool, only a short walk to stores, restaurants, beach. Fully equipped kitchen, great view from the balcony and large apartment.

We stayed 5 days and had 1 big roach inside the apartment each day, it’s why I have a 9 instead of 10. We were there end of May and it was very hot so the roaches are coming inside in search of food or water, It’s wasn’t because it’s dirty, we just swept them back outside. Overall, I would definitely stay here again with the family.

We stayed last year and had a beautiful apartment, and loved it, that’s why we came back. But this time we had a different apartment and of course you compare. Comfortable beds, bathrooms in Portuguese style, we didn’t mind that. We had an outdoor area, which protected us from the wind, which sometimes happens in the Algarve.

The lounge room furniture belonged to a Scottish grandfather and I’m 66. A076 apartment was dark, because of that. The toilet cistern broke, we told the receptionist and she said someone will fix it the next hour, nobody fixed it. The living room table was sticky, although it looked clean.

Very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Plenty of towels, very clean, well equipped kitchen. Lovely patio that overlooks the pool. The pool was nice and enjoyed the lounge chairs and umbrellas around the pool. Dishwasher tablets provided and plenty of toilet paper. Great location just above the centre of town, so away from the noise, but very close and easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

No AC, but there are fans available in the apartment.

The location is very central and close to shops, the beach, etc. The pool was lovely and the apartment was bigger than I'd expected. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The apartments are a steep 3 minute walk from the main street so may not be suitable for the elderly. Was fine for us but just something to consider.

Il nostro soggiorno di 5 giorni è stato veramente confortevole. Il complesso di appartamenti sulla collina permette di parcheggiare l'auto sotto casa ed è veramente tranquillo. L'appartamento molto spazioso e ben organizzato. Servizi eccellenti di pulizia e cambio biancheria. Diverse piscine a disposizione. Abbiamo potuto raggiungere facilmente a piedi la spiaggia e percorrere i sentieri sulle scogliere con panorami mozzafiato.

Podobało nam się wszystko, apartament wspaniały, wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne nawet na dłuższy pobyt. Byłyśmy we cztery więc dwie łazienki to dodatkowy atut dla tego apartamentu. Wszędzie blisko bo miasteczko malutkie.

W jednej łazience nie można było obniżyć temperatury wody, była zbyt gorąca na kąpiel-Łazienka blisko wejscia do apartamentu. Poza tym wszystko w jak najlepszym porządku.

The location is amazing , worth paying extra for a sea view. Choice of pools although sun beds filled up fast.

The apartment was a bit broken in places, door wouldn’t lock , shower fell off wall . Although this was rectified quickly by staff , just needs a bit of tlc.

Die Parterrewohnung mit Meerblick und Pool hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Weg in den Ort war schnell zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.

Leider ist das Sofa sowie der Sessel bereits sehr durchgesessen, so dass man sofort einsackt. Es wäre gut das Besteck etwas zu ergänzen, da man bei der Spülmaschinennutzung doch etwas mehr benötigt.

We liked our apartments. Very clean and spacious. We liked the clean swimming pools, plenty of sunbeds and space. The apartment buildings were very nicely laid out. A lovely complex.

We didn't like the extremely hard beds. We slept very badly all week. We didn't like the steep hill .....not at all suitable for elderly or small children in buggies. We booked 2 apartments for our family with a request that they be beside each other. We were actually placed at opposite ends of the complex. We did not like this and did not like that the representative was very reluctant to try to fix this problem. It took quite a bit of begging on our part to get rooms somewhat closer to each other. So, in the end , there were 2 apartments relatively closeby each other and we were given them. Its just a pity they weren't assigned to us from the beginning.

Los apartamentos creo que necesitan un poco de más mantenimiento, pues los servicios básicos como el frigorífico, la tostadora o el microondas estaban bastante desgastados. También el mobiliario de la terraza o el sofá muy deteriorados.

really liked being able to walk out of the apartment with the pool on the doorstep

The rooms had the smell of being closed. It took us 2 days to get the smell out from bed sheets and rooms. Some ventilation when the rooms are un occupied should have been better.

We enjoyed our stay, the apartment was spacious and functional. The village and the beach are in the walking distance about 5 min walk, the distance was welcomed due to noise from the bars and restaurants at night. The pool was great and close to our apartment. Plenty of parking space.

The furniture was dated and most of the tables had dried food stains from prior tenants. The oven didn't work.

Everything was perfect. Extremely picturesque place, with a number of swimming pools in the walking distance (though you should remember the resort is quite uphill), and the beach a couple of hundred metres away. The apartment was spacious, clean, elegant. Ideal place for a family vacation!
