Very adequate for our needs. Great to have a queen and single bed for the second person, very flexible. Had a lovely short walk to Shed 2 for our private venue, so handy. Lovely bathroom, super spa bath.

I would’ve appreciated a response to my email requesting an extra person to share. But then it was dealt with very satisfactorily at check in. Walls are a bit thin, we could hear a person snoring next door. The young locals were roaring up and down very noisy on the road, didn’t seem to be any cops watching them.

Anchorage is a great location, close to bars and the water. Room was a good size and it was quiet. Parking was good.

Room smelt like it used to be a smoking room. Lighting was limited and it was a bit dark.

Location to the Princess Alexandria Retirement Home where my Mum In Law was based.

No Security or staff to ask a guest/s to be quiet after 11pm. There was a gentleman who was mentally unstable next door to me carrying on during one evening. No one from The Anchorage dealt with it. Being a woman on my own I wasn't going out to speak or confront the man.

This place was great! Excellent outlook and close to a whole lot of eateries. Huge room, good facilities. The staff were helpful before we arrived (special request) and during our stay. Heaps of parking.

It's not a biggie overall, but as the rooms are off an external walkway it can be noisy when inconsiderate people are walking past. The walkway flooring had a noise-limiting surface, which was very helpful.

The outside lights went off in the morning before it was light enough to see to put the key in the lock.

Was a bit confronted by having to park my rental car amongst all the huge utes belonging to the contractors but the extra parking out the back worked well

Beautiful views, room was cosy. We got a room with a spa bath which was a bonus! Close to restaurants/bars.

The bed was a little hard, I feel the pillows need replacing as they were really worn.

Our unit no. 8 quite noisy as we could hear neighbours above and beside us walking, phone buzzing etc during the night. No. 1 and 2 were much quieter.

Ideal location and checking in was easy and pleasant. The unit was clean and looked like it had been recently renovated.

The trade off with the location is the odd loud car or motorcycle

Not a biggie but the curtains were unhooked and sagging, we sorted it ourselves in the end and rehung them. Was very evident though so was surprised they were left like that for a new guest/booking.

We always stay here as it is consistently clean with great service and we love the location.

A great location within walking distance of numerous restaurants. Saturday nights are busy in the area, but very little street noise in the room. Parking was within sight from the room and well lit overnight. There was plenty of space in the room. Comfy bed and pillows. We were given a carton of milk on checkin and didn't have to rely on the little UHT milk thimbles. The staff were lovely both on checkin and room servicing.

The blackout curtains were a necessity as extremely bright lights are outside each room (light enough to read by), although a pelmet would help to keep the lighting out. The fridge was noisy at times overnight - easily fixed by turning it off and the milk was still cold in the morning! Room just starting to look a little tired but had everything we needed with many bonuses like air conditioning, SkyTV and biscuits with the tea and coffee.

Smell was very bad from the shower wastes and room, towels smelled and also very old and rough. Could definitely do with a refresh in the room. Cobwebs around the room.

Cleaning of rooms could be better. Our room smelt terrible like someone had cooked something in there and then closed it up I actually went to buy air freshener and odour neutralizer it was so so strong it had embedded into the soft furnishings.

We use to stay there awhile back, and it was dated, its good so see its had a beautiful makeover

when i rung about our bond back after seeing it hadnt been returned after a week, the receptionist tried to say we had a loud party. He lied, said there was loud music coming from our room. we checked in around 7pm, left to go to visit a friend in hospital then came back around 10pm, then literally went straight to sleep. As business owners ourselves, we were very exhauseted from travelling etc. I dunno, it felt like a ploy to try and keep the bond money. He couldnt even give me straight answers. Then had the cheek to ask us if we heard anything. Bro, the whole motel was quiet as! shouldnt be accused of things without facts. just wrong and VERY UNWELCOMING..... besides that, alllll goods

We think that the rooms could do with a splash of paint, especially in our room we had (9) and the bed cover was old looking
