Very quiet, very comfortable nice area for relaxing 😌

Very helpful staff who ensure an easy late check in if requested personally. Large units with spa bath. Perfect for travelling north as directly on the way out of the city. Great value for money.

Units which can sleep 3 need to have 3 of everything please, from towels to teaspoons

Very accommodating staff and clean facilities. I highly recommend staying here & would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the friendly staff.

Ranch slider door squeaked and was noisy, worried about the neighbours opening the ranch slider

Needed a comfortable place to sleep and shower for the night and this was perfect! Staff were great for servicing our late check in and even had the heat pump on for us when we arrived which was amazing!

Funny enough, the shower. The pressure wasn't great but the amount of water that came out was good if that makes sense?

Easy access and parking, sea views and coastal walk. The Indian restaurant next door is the best I’ve dined at.

Great value for money. I liked the spa bath and the beach view. Kids liked the heated indoor pool. Also the room was spacious.

Second stay. Very good value. Very clean. Comfortable beds..we actually booked 2 rooms by accident and they very kindly fully refunded us. Eat at the restaurant which was a fantastic Indian..

Arrived 6pm lady at reception tired stated short staffed. In room, Hand soup dispenser broken. Room out dated. Previously had a lot of repair jobs done, very noticeable.

Was greeted by a nice lady at the front desk. Very friendly. Spa in the suite was fantastic. Sky TV was a lovely bonus. Parking was easy. Good location with walks near the marina.

Although I loved the spa the ventilation was terrible. The bathroom was damp and didn't smell too pleasant. Cooking area also needed ventilation as the smell lingered. Room spray or deodoriser would've helped. Our bedding was quite thin for winter. Could've done with a bedspread or spare blanket.

Nothing not to like

Stayed here before so knew what to expect. Overall was very happy with our stay. Location was perfect, nothing was too far of a drive. Less than 10 mins drive to all the places i needed to get to. Comfortable beds, spa bath a bonus! Aircon kept us nice and warm. Will be back again.

Heat pump did not work on my last night, with a strobing light flashing all thru the night. No power off switch to turn it off. Bathroom window latch broken off so it couldn't be securely closed. Disappointed in cleanliness of unit

The pool was not available due to the heater needing to be fixed and was the main reason i booked this place. The window in the bathroom was unable to close. And the curtains were dirty.

The staff was friendly helped me with booking as I done wrong date and help me stay the night I arrived , very clean and tidy well diffently be back thank you team

Stayed in a studio room - occupant next door played music all night and other strange noises. Heatpump stopped working and disco ball light flashed all night Pool not operational

Coffee plunger fell apart, jug didn't work. Air con noisy &ranchslider was very dirty.

Can smell the aromatic cooking from the onsite restaurant during dinner service Unable to use heated pool due to needing repairs. But it is tidy, quiet and meets your basic needs just fine

This is the 2nd time I have stayed and the rooms are comfortable for the price but I must say the Indian Restaurant in front brought me back. Customer service is great but the food is excellent. Will keep coming back just to eat there

There was alittle rattle through the night, may be the A/c and the fridge was maybe missing a leg. Nothing major,

I loved it! Beautiful and spacious, bath was clean. Laundry was awesome to use. very good price!! I would have stayed longer if my son was keen. Ngā mihi!

Peaceful and not to far to drive into city centre

Very roomy and comfortable. Loved the bed, the breakfast bar. Good location with the estuary walkway opposite. Loved the spa bath too!!

Unfortunately the TV remote had no battery at first - this was sorted quickly by staff. We were unable to change the display - it was quite dark to watch.

That on second night we put the sign up to refresh room and they didn’t fill up coffee or give fresh towels. We had used spa and 2 towels was not sufficient for 2 days. They didn’t dry well.

The size of the unit was great. Having the restaurant right there was definitely a bonus. The staff were all lovely. It delivered great value. The area was great for evening walks. Would happily stay again

Room was clean and amenities basic but satisfactory and the bed was comfortable. Reception was very friendly and flexible with check in time and allowed key handover before typical 2 pm check in time if room was ready. This motel very convenient to the Airport (5 minutes away) and many restaurant/bar options are just over the estuary bridge along West Quay and/or within Ahuriri Village which also has some nice shopping. However, most convenient is that an Indian food restaurant (Indian Tikka) was attached to the facility, so I ate there and the food was great! This Motel has a small indoor heated pool which, while I never used, would be great for family stays as it suits younger children. Not a 'lap pool' (too small) but perfect for splash play. I would recommend this motel to anyone with an early departure time at the Airport because the distance is so close and getting there is normally stress free.

My room was in a row of 3 units (22-24) behind the restaurant building, accessed by a narrow separate lane to the main Motel entrance. I needed help from Reception with getting the TV started and the back of one of the remotes (i.e. battery cover) kept falling off, plus the heat pump would not work properly as it seemed to have settings that were locked in so the unit stopped after a few minutes and it got cold. Without an instruction guide I tried to reset it but that never worked, so I gave up. It was late by this time (after 9:30 pm). An unanswered call to Reception was then returned but nothing was able to be done until after I checked out early the next morning, so I had to use a noisy fan heater that was supplied. While generally clean, some detail cleaning would not hurt in some areas. There were no spare extra pillows or blankets - a warm blanket would have been welcome. There was a Marathon event the morning I left and it may have been a good thing for the Motel staff to have been aware of this so that I was warned by them about morning road closures. Not sure they were aware of this event because nothing was mentioned. As it was, I chose to look up the map route myself online to discover that the Council had alerts where part of Meeanee Road leading to the airport would be closed, with detours to be set up from a side street only a few hundred meters away (Alfred Street) where the road would be closed from there right up to the State highway roundabout that leads to the airport. So, I re-set my alarm to leave earlier and that was a blessing, because the road cone people were already out and about setting up but I got through the roundabout without any holdups. I passed the big sign trucks that were already on the other side/direction of the road that comes from the airport leading to the highway roundabout - so it was people exiting the airport after passenger drop offs that were stuck behind those trucks at just after 06:00. I was lucky!

Nothing, its bad bad bad

We never stay there. We rang the booking.com to cancel our booking. We got there to check in, and the lady at the reception said that our room is not ready until the next day because someone pour a curry on the carpet, so they can't clean it until the next day. So they offer us another room but its not the same as the room we booked.we booked the room with the spa, sea view and a balcony. And they want us to stay in a stinky room with no view, no balcony and small. So I told them why they didn't notify us and let us know. And you guys waited until we arrived.We arrived there at 5pm, so they got the whole morning to clean it but they didn't. Bad communication and it looks old too. Never again look at this motel. So we ended up booking another hotel, and its so much better.

Great location very accommodating and helpful staff and owners. I highly recommend. Great value for money. A home away from home.

Easy to find Parking outside the door Well equipped

Noisy fridge that needed to be turned off to sleep. Paid $$ for beachfront but very dirty windows, curtains off hooks, bath/shower mixer hard to change. plug didn't fit bath, 1 small cake of soap for 2 people for 3 days. Unable to get tops of tiny toiletries (older person with arthritis) pool locked when meant to be open. Holes in bathroom lino. Broken couch, no extra blankets provided.. Very stained furniture and bed top cover.
